If I could put zero I would.. I got scammed by another customer behind me at the register as a cashier was checking me out . She leaned against me and slid her items into the end of mine all the time talking to me & the cashier?? I wondered why my bill was so much higher but I had my granddaughters with me, and was distracted by this woman and wanted to go home. Next morning I checked my receipt & she had slid over $30.00 worth of items onto the tale end of my check out!!!!!!! When I went to the store and explained they said the person to check that, including the camera footage didn't come in until 3 hours from then. Took my receipt bro & my name & number. 3 hours later I went to the store and met the person in charge who said that after reviewing the tape since I was talking to the lady it looked like I had "gifted" this stranger????? I did not, and she made it clear that she did NOT believe me!!!! She very sourly agreed to refund me after I protested & was not leaving. Shame on you, Angela!!!!! I am elderly and still hav to work part time to survive. I am still angry enough to find a way to complain about YOU personally. Been going to same location for over 30 years, at least twice a week. We needed to pick up a few things and Walmart was the closest store. We arrived at 10:30 on a sunny day. The entrance closest to the garden center did not have wipes to clean the shopping cart handle. As we walk in I notice two Walmart employees blocking an aisle to prevent access. That seemed odd. We walked over to where the eye drops are located. I was surprised to see the shelves were not fully stocked. Hubs picked out his drops and we were off to the food section. I notice Walmart is slowly removing name brand goods and stocking their store bran, Great Value, more often. I will remind myself to buy French mustard elsewhere. This Walmart used to sell it. The pasta I used to buy here also has to be purchased at a different store. The produce wasn't as fresh as I would like so I only bought a few things. The frozen vegetables were stocked and I did pick up a few packages I needed. Overall going to this store to shop for food would be a deal breaker. If I needed home goods or kitchen small appliances I would come back. read more

This is probably one of the worst Wal-Mart's I've been to. I'm not a fan. They are not well organized and usually out of stuff. I had gone for Easter stuff and they literally had no Easter Candy. The real problem with this Walmart is NOT the staff, it is the absolutely ABYSMAL clientele. Do you remember the website "People of Walmart?" If it still exists and you want to have a prime submission, go to this store and just start taking pictures. We went for moving boxes (three times, because of course we never had enough and they're the cheapest supplier) and packing tape. Don't buy Walmart gift cards. Many have been tampered with. People are able to get cards off display, carefully peel cover back from cover over pin #, get number then carefully put cover back over pin # without any sign ithad been tampered with. It is then placed back on display waiting for someone to purchase it. With # from card and pin # they are able to monitor card for money being placed on card. When this occurs they then drain the card. Walmart is aware of this and not only allows this fraud but enables it. Walmart will not stand behind the card and the customer who purchased the card is out their money. This could easily be stopped but Walmart seems to not care. A manager told me he would not buy gift cards off the floor because he was well aware of this practice. So be aware a Walmart gift card could be compromised and you money be gone. read more

Continually screw up my pick up order or leave things out. I'm sick my wife is sick and we are trying to put together my Mom's 90th birthday party and they leave out the 8 club sodas I had ordered. I call the store and pick option 4, which is the online and pickup option, they tell me they don't handle my problem and give a telephone number to call. I call the number and they want to know what car I am in. I said I am not in a car I am at home. He said how am I going to bring your things out if I am not there. I said I don't want the things I want a refund. He said you have to talk to my manager who is not here or call the store. I call the store and pick the operator option and after 6 plus minutes someone picks up the phone and hangs up. I want my money back. I guess I am going have to start using Kroger all the time. I came back in the store at 6:00 p.m. after making a purchase at 5:30 . There were several employees blocking anybody from going to the return desk saying that they were closed because they didn't have enough staff and there were 3 employees standing there telling people that they were closed . To me it seems like somebody needed to quit blocking people and get behind the desk and do their job . The Walmart on Drake Avenue and l&n drive is the worst Walmart I've ever been to . And my experience at that Walmart most of the people working there are what I refer to as useless. read more

The employees are more interested in conversing amongst themselves or what's going on in their social media life then helping a customer with an issues they may be experiencing. Also if you want to use cash at this location, be sure you're ready to wait and I mean wait. Every self-checkout in the store is open, but none of them except cash, and the only registers that do, are manned by an employee (if you can call them that.) The manned register lines are waaaaaay to long and require you to wait, and wait, and wait. Every other Walmart in Huntsville is able to make cash an option and it least one self-checkout machine but this one can't? Once again stay away from this Walmart...you've been warned. read more

I went in the garden center today to get a few outdoor items. There are employees standing at the entrance but do not open a register. I was told to check out inside. I went just inside the doors (near toys) and no one at that register either. I had to go to mail registers to check out. I'm young enough it's not too big of a deal, just an inconvenience. Then I noticed an older gentleman having to do the same thing and was parked a few cars up from mine. I look around, no cart return for us. I offered to take his cart. Shame on Walmart for not considering their customers. Don't pay an employee to stand there if you're not going to open the register. Just don't even open the door on that end so everyone knows checking out is not an option. I will travel 15 minutes further to go to Hampton Cove where it's both cleaner and registers are open where ever you choose to park. read more

I have a choice between a Publix and Wal-Mart for groceries without making a 20 mile RD to Huntsville. Never had a problem at Publix but Wal-Mart does have cheaper prices although it is the arm pit of the grocery world. Items are shelved where they shouldn't be, they don't enforce their mask policy, their parking lot is an obstacle course which they don't take responsibility for, and they treat you like a common criminal. Moreover, most of the staff are rude and ignorant. I was leaving the store today when a greeter/enforcer asked to see my receipt after watching me checkout. I was apalled. I complained but threatened with a call to the manager. I prefer to be gut-shot rather than return there and don't even get me started on their pharmacy! read more

I went in this Walmart Supercenter for a few things.When I got to the register the African American woman there was real friendly & polite talking to the African American people in front of me. When I approached the register she(Trenia Lunn)had a prejudice attitude toward me.No, how are you?Did you find everything ok?Not even eye contact.Then no thank you after bagging.It's like I was invisible.I watched after I left and she started talking to the African Americans behind me being real polite.That's discrimination!I'm 62 years old and she don't get to pick who to be polite to.Walmart is a place of business where everyone should feel welcomed.I would call this a management defect! They don't price match over $30. HORRIBLE service. We waited over 30 mins for someone to help us in electronics just to tell us they won't price match something that is sold and shipped by Walmart. To order online and get in store pickup would've been FOUR days when we could see they had multiples of the product. When we asked customer service why they won't price match over $30 he said- we were just told not to by our manager. That's not a Walmart policy, just a policy their manager made up. Last Friday, I was accused of making racist comments by a cashier attendant at this Walmart. That has never happened to me in 30+ years of shopping at numerous Walmarts and I never anticipated it ever would. I had a large order, but not exorbitant and it all fit in one basket, so going to the self-checkout section was normal for me. I am picky about not getting dented cans or broken eggs so I always seek self-checkout areas everywhere. And I really didn't think much about it when I was directed to the station with the sign that said "Cards Only, No Cash Back" - I was planning to use the same card I use at all Walmarts and I didn't need cash. However, after scanning about a dozen items the machine stopped and required attendant assistance. This occurred many times and I was not the only customer having difficulties. After restarting my station several times, I found myself stopped again and just decided to wait since the attendant was busy with frustrated others. Eventually, a second attendant stopped by, but was unable to get the machine restarted - I think she must not have had a correct code. The first attendant returned and restarted me again. I asked both attendants if they thought I might be doing something wrong. I assured them I am experienced with Walmart self-checkout stations throughout Madison County and southern Tennessee, and have used self-checkout stations at all of them since the stations were installed, so I asked if we needed a technician. The second attendant said I should not have brought such a large order to self-checkout. I explained that I have had larger orders at self-checkout in the past and asked if this was a change in Walmart policy, if there was a sign about that, and if I should consider Kroger for such a large purchase in the future specifically stating that Kroger has the large carousel bagging stations for accommodating large orders. The second attendant did not respond to me, but looked at the first attendant and asked her, "Why do they go there?" I did not understand what that meant and still don't, but the second attendant then left the area. My checkout station continued to malfunction, and the first attendant continued to fix the stalls. I'm sure she was trying to be helpful when she brought a second basket to my station and started dropping in my bags of cans - and not gently. I asked her to please not help "with bagging because I am picky about dented cans, broken eggs, and such - it is the reason I use self-checkout". The machine was not stalled at that point and she left. Then she returned with a third attendant who walked up to my face and accused me of "being racist", and of "making racist comments". A fourth attendant walked up with the third, alongside a manager (apparently as he was in men's dress attire). I was visibly shocked (as were the other customers checking out in the self-checkout area who stopped to watch). I shook my head and said, "What!?! No one has made any racist comments or made any comments of the sort. That's crazy! I have a malfunctioning checkout station and I think there are several malfunctioning machines in this area - and that may be causing frustrations but no one has said anything inappropriate that 'I' have heard!" No one said anything else. The third attendant cleared my machine this time (probably a supervisor) and I proceeded to checkout my last 5-6 items. The fourth attendant and the manager left without saying a word. I finished bagging, paid my bill, and organized my bags into my original basket. I returned the basket brought by the first attendant to the oversight station where the third attendant was still supervising, arms crossed. I asked if anyone had a problem. I asked if anyone wanted to check my receipt. No one responded - no answer nor any words, but the third attendant waved me on. It was all very rude. Interestingly, as I left, I realized the formerly bustling self-checkout area was now nearly empty. All four of the attendants were female African Americans. The man who seemed to be a manager was Caucasian. When I walked out, I looked back and there were no Caucasians in the checkout area. One woman stopped me outside (a stranger) and said she left her basket full of cold foods in the aisle when she heard them accuse me; she said she is done with this store. I hate that. I have probably had 50 great shopping experiences in this store, but this one really canceled out all of them. I thought this would not bother me, but it has. So I decided to post my experience. I would not want my friends or family subjected to accusations like this and will recommend they also go to a different Walmart. Fortunately, there are several alternative stores nearby, including 6 other Walmarts. read more

Very rarely anyone around to help or assist patrons in any manner whatsoever. In fact the employees seem to hide from the customers. They also get quite irate when having to help you. As big box operations go, Wal-Mart has gotten to be quite less than sub par in all operations as is. In the past year I have limited my trips to any of the stores. I will continue to do so. After paying for my $375 of groceries, the trashy bum at the door demanded to see my receipt and tried to accuse me of stealing a bottle of water. I showed her the receipt and invited her to do something to herself that was physically impossible. It's not my fault the drone they call a cashier didn't bag the water. Publix is just down the street and employ a much higher class of people who can read and write. read more
