Is is an okay market, they do not have brand name foods and almost no organic foods. The store is very simple, you have to bag your own groceries and pay a quarter to get your shopping cart. On the plus side the chocolate that they have is imported from Germany and it is very good! I do suggest getting a bar! All in all it is a very low cost food market and if you do not mind the off brand food stuffs and bagging your own food it's worth the visit. read more

The store and products itself are same or similar to most Aldi's that I have been to in SC, NC and Fl. However the management and staff need to work on their customer service. On my last visit the check out clerk threw my items into my cart. The Chicken started to leak the rest items I purchased and on the floor. When I brought it to her attention she informed me that it was leaking when she put it in the cart. I asked her why didn't she tell me it was and offered to replace it she just shrug her shoulders and said "I'm sorry" then continue to check customers out. She didn't offer to help me clean up the mess or replace anything. I actually had to ask her for antibacterial wipes to clean up. I was completely blow away by her lack of care. When I asked to speak to her manager she shocked and said I told you I apologized. I had request to speak to the manager 3 times. When manager finally arrived his response was similar to her's, he implied that I was dishonest since he wasn't here when it happened and didn't see anything and finally at that she didn't even work at this store she was just helping out. The whole incident was disappointing as I have been shopping at Aldi for years, it is one of my favorite grocery stores. I have shop at several locations throughout the south and this location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

Walking around inside of the new ALDI kind of reminded me of Costco or Sam's. They have the products stacked up in open cases. Except the products are normal portions. They use a unique way of getting you to return your shopping cart too. The carts are all chained together in the cart corral and each cart has a device that requires you to insert a quarter to release the cart from the line of carts. When you return your cart back to the cart corral and reconnect it to the chain, you get your quarter back. The store claims it saves them money not needing to have extra carts and also not paying an employee to run around the parking lot collecting carts. I can see bums loitering in the parking lots "volunteering" to return carts for customers to collect quarters. read more

This is unconscionable. I was in that store at 1053 am on 4/5/2020. I am self-employed as a plumber. my phone has not rung in three weeks for accommodate a customer. My total cash available was $6.13 of which $!.40 was in coin. I went in to buy two items which totaled $3.47. I told the man I need to give Him the coins and then take the rest using a debit card. He flatly told me the "I needed to count the coins", and I told Him that was His job. He absolutely refused to count my coins. I demanded the two one dollar bills back, leaving the $1.40 for that asshole to count anyway. If He does not want to touch customers coins because of Covid-19 then what in the hell is in His drawer besides paper money? I asked to speak to the manager and he said that he is! IS THIS THE KIND OF BUSINESS MODEL YOU ALLOW FROM YOUR EMPLOYEES? This is not the first time I have had an issue with him either. The other time I once again had coins and asked him to take a couple dollars of them in exchange for paper. HE once again refused. I just left y'all a scathing negative feedback! read more

Very interesting concept. The prices were outstanding. If you never been here before, please understand that this is different. They do not stock the same items all the time as it changes, they don't take credit cards, you don't have bags, etc. It is a hit or miss on items they have that week. read more

My friends absolutely love to shop here! I don't get time to do too much grocery shopping but when I go to pick out frames or canvases at Hobby Lobby, I am sure to just pop in to admire the fresh produce! I have bought mangos, coconuts, figs, fresh juices, ginger and yogurt from here. During the a great place to buy freshly packed fruit, nuts and chocolate trays for friends and family. Plenty of parking. Reasonably priced. A great alternative to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods! read more

This is my regular grocery shopping store. I have been mostly happy with their items, most specifically their organic products. (Organic line is SimplyNature.) You can find coconut oil, olive oil, quinoa of differing varieties, soy, rice and almond milk, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, just to name a few. The organic grass fed beef is very reasonably priced and of great quality. I purchase a good amount of seeds and dried berries there as well as produce. I have been disappointed in their broccoli (goes bad fairly quickly sometimes) and their bananas. Be careful with the lemons as well. Overall, though, I have been able to save lots of money on my grocery bill. So much so, that I stopped couponing all together and shop mostly at Aldi's. Bring your own bags! Or you can take empty boxes off the shelves to pack your things in. REMEMBER to bring a quarter to get your shopping cart. Very friendly staff. read more

I love Aldi. Their prices are great. Especially on staples. I understand part of their whole deal is to be fast, efficient, and get people in and out ASAP. However, the cheaper prices don't really matter when they sling your groceries into the cart, bruising up your produce and crushing your chips and bread. Every time I go in, my groceries get banged and mashed and it never fails that I hear a cashier barking orders at customers. "Take your stuff out of the box!" "Leave the cart here!" etc. not everyone knows the drill here and they could inform their customers of their policies in a much more polite way. I'd do all my shopping here if they didn't bang and smash my groceries and were more polite. read more

Aldi is a great store for those that need a little help with the weekly grocery bill. While they don't carry many name brands, almost all of their stuff is as good or better than the name brands and sometimes more than half the cost! Remember to take a quarter to unlock a basket and bring your reusable grocery bags to bag your stuff. They do have bags there if you forget them, but they charge a small amount for them. (~5 cents a bag) They also let you use leftover boxes to take your stuff out in as well, which I like to use in my pantry to help keep my shelves organized! I do 85%-95% of my shopping here and wouldn't have it any other way! read more

ALDI was very disappointing. I don't mind paying for my own bag and my own cart, but the food was bad! My milk was spoiled, the bananas were all but inedible after 24 hours, the apple cider was self-fermenting, and the chocolate had bug larvae in it which infested my whole pantry. I'm DEFINITELY not shopping here again - the prices weren't even that great. They were good, but not better than shopping sales/coupons at Publix or Target or Kroger. read more
