I waited in the self check out line and was told when I reached the front I had over 20 items and had to use a regular register. They only had 1 open and there was a 20 min wait there. I called the manager the next day and she said they are starting a new policy for self check out 20 items only. She was very unprofessional. I called the customer service dept and they said they have no policy of limits in self check out. This store is horrible and I think in the future I will drive a little further to shop at target. I just posted a review for Walmarts garden center and gave that area of the store a 4-star rating. However, things are very different on the other side of the store. The store was recently remodeled and is clean which is my reason for the 2-star rating and not a one. The lack of smiles and the displeasure on the associates' faces when you ask them for help is the reason for my 2-star rating. I asked for assistance finding sprinkles and the woman barely lifted her head up to speak to me. Didn't even make eye contact! On another occasion, I asked for help finding a loofah scrub and the woman just mumbled and pointed. I am hoping this Walmart implements the pickup/delivery service that the other Walmarts offer through the Walmart app. I seriously dread having to come here for even a few things. If there was a target closer than Northlake I would be shopping there. If Walmart is really trying to improve their customer service and the customer's experience, the can start by replying to this review. read more

This review is to share how great my experience has been at the Walmart Pharmacy. I wish I remembered their individual names, but overall, everyone I interact with at the pharmacy has been very knowledgeable, helpful and hard working. The place has a ton of registers and never have more than half of them open and most of the time less that half. The lines are ridiculously long and slow as a result. Cashiers seem to be less than happy to be there and that waiting on customers is a pain for them. I am attaching pictures of an AC vent so you can see that the air we breathe there is contaminated. Especially during the Covid time they should be concerned about cleanliness!! Obviously they are not. I will always wear a mask in there due to the filth! I loathe going there at all but since they chased Kmart out years ago there isn't a lot of choice in Jupiter. A shame! I will say though that the pharmacy is superb and the people working in the pharmacy are wonderful. read more

Sept 25 I was checking out my groceries. I noticed Chelsea, walmart cashier, was throwing my groceries in bag with a pissed off attitude. I had about 60 cans of assorted catfood, (All were separated in boxes as the same kind to make it easy for her)I I noticed she could not count by 2's. So i kindly did it to help her. Well that pissed her off. As she continued to check out my groceries, she had NO regard how she put my groceries in the bags. I purchased 5 halloween decorations, 2 bats, 2 pumpkins, 1bat, Priced at .99 each. The bat did not have a price. I respectfully told her it was the last one to please ring up one of the other one. WITH AN ATTITUDE SHE SAID loudly and with disrespect "ITS Not THE SAME KIND". I immediately said she was very rude. So i had to go to the front to ask a manager and explained the situation. Fortunately the manager agreed to just ring up one of the one with the same price. When the manager walked up to Chelsea, she immediately changed her attitude. All this over .99. Starting today i refuse to have a Walmart cashier be rude to me without saying so. I am fed-up. read more

This is such a bad location, and despite there being a 2 star average on Yelp, it seems like they have done nothing to improve themselves at all. I called to ask a question to see if they had a toy in stock or not, and they put me on hold and then a few minutes later say "Hello how Can I help you?" And then I say again my question and the lady said "Oh its you, no we don't have it." Then just hung up while I was saying "its okay thank you". I am a super big fan of Walmart. We bought 7 items and including tax, our total was about $14.50. Incredible! Even Target can't beat that! The store loses a star because our cashier seemed so lazy about going the extra mile for us. She wouldn't even stretch out her arm to give us our receipt. And she wanted to double bag something for us, but instead gave us an empty bag so that we could double bag it ourselves. I guess with low prices comes cheap service? read more

This morning I decided to order a bike from Walmart instead of Amazon, to give Walmart a chance. Found a bike I liked, paid for it and headed to the Walmart in Stuart. Got a text that they canceled the order. Ok, give them another chance. Picked a bike that was as in stock at the Jupiter store. Go to the Jupiter store, no bike!! How can that be?? Store manager Stacy finally says they are getting 4 green bikes (I wanted black). On Nov 1!! Can you save one for me!? No can do!! The cashiers in this store think they are Royalty and treat the customers like trash, went to self checkout due to only 2 cashiers open and long lines there but was told over 20 items had to go through regular checkout and wait. Purchased a bluetooth speaker at this location and was convinced by the rep I needed the protection plan and that it would be an easy in store swap if anything went wrong. Only upon me going to use the insurance did they tell me it's not run through the store and that I was supposed to register the device with a third party company and I'd have to mail it to them myself. read more

I moved here from a northern Florida area where I often shopped at Walmart with little to no issues. This place on the other hand is horrible. It's stressful just walking in the store knowing that there is going to be a long line and no help at all. I am often treated rude by the employees who never know where anything is? Learn the store!! I bought a brand new mattress topper to only find out when I got it home that it was used. It had black dog hair and muddy prints all over it. I boxed it back up which wasn't easy and took it back with my receipt. The manager accused me of using it. She said they would never put that item back on the shelf. Than she told me even exchange which I refused. She gave me store credit even though I had receipt. I am horrified that I got blamed, this was for my 4 yr olds bed. It's sad when I feel like I have to video every item I open now just in case, to prove I didn't use it. Also the employees in this walmart just stand around and talk. Meanwhile there is only one checkout lane open maybe 2 if we are lucky every time we go in. So it takes extra 20 mins of waiting in line. They don't allow more than 20 items in self checkout so you have to wait for a cashier to check you out. The employees seem to make up their own rules with covid. This was just a month ago that an employee was only allowing one customers items on the belt. She actually yelled at one customer. Than she yelled at me because my items were hitting the gum display and she told me to watch my items. How is this my fault? I saw another employee wipe down a belt with 15 paper towels. There was nothing on belt by the way. You want to save money tell your employees not to waste resources like 15 paper towels to wipe down one belt. You treat each customer as if we are a criminal because after standing in a long checkout line you get stopped again to show your receipt. Target doesn't do this. I talk to a lot of customers every time I have to stand in a long line to checkout and so I many said they rather take the extra 20mins standing in line to just go to the target on north lake. Sad to say I spend so much money at Walmart every week that I am now really considering of going to target instead. If you don't respect your customers than we will go shop somewhere else. read more

I have never seen staff that were as rude as the staff at the Jupiter Walmart. All three staff I spoke with were the rudest I have ever been treated in any store, anywhere. Just wow. I was in the meat section and a woman was stocking meat, so I asked if they had the beef/pork mixture and she said I don't know...I didn't say anything and she just turned away and I said it may be a meatloaf mix, and she just shook her head and turned away (she spoke perfect english, too so it wasn't a language barrier). Then I looked for another few minutes and boom - beef/pork mixture. Unbelievable. Then I ask the woman who was stocking shelves where I could find the bread crumbs ( I just moved here less than a month ago fyi) she didn't look at me or stop what she was doing and very quietly mumble something, then I said I excuse me I didn't hear that and she said AISLE 19 in a very aggressive manner. THEN!!! I am in the bread section and yet again, a worker is stocking bread. I couldn't seem to locate Italian buns so I asked and she said "I don't know, maybe down there" at that point I was irritated and offended and said "maybe"? Then she walked to the bread and didn't say anything and pointed at a loaf of italian bread. So I politely said, I said italian buns and she just walked away and said oh I don't know... This is by far the worst grocery store I have been to when it comes to customer service. The woman standing at the self check out had a look on her face as if she was guarding military secrets and when it wouldn't scan an item she barged over and pushed her way in front of be to scan her card, not once even acknowledging me. I must agree with the previous assessment. I am recommending Walmart. I am 67 and we have raised 5 children. I would hunt and hunt for the best value, quality and price when every one lived at home. Our weekly food bill was enormous. We live near Boston and I only shop at Market Basket. But there is no Market Basket in Jupiter. Walmart's prices are better than the other supermarkets to which I have gone. I do not save at Publix, Whole Foods, Winn Dixie or Trader Joe's. They are expensive. Actually I am shocked by Publix's prices. IMHO, I think WalMart is upping its game. I bought Asian food here the other day that I could get nowhere else other than online. Walmart's price was 50%. It was an Asian noodle product, I had never heard its name before and of which I was previously unaware. I went to the a lady in Produce. She said "absolutely we have it, it is right over here". I was surprised but happy. More than not employees are helpful. When I go into Walmart I look for the first person with a yellow vest, show them my list and ask them to help. Maybe it is my white hair and I get "Senior" support but if they have a yellow vest they do not tell me the aisle, they walk over with me. I hope Walmart continues to up its game for consumers and up its pay for employees. read more

My girlfriend and I arrive around 1:30am and they are under construction which is fine. After struggling to find what we need we get to the front by the registers where some unhappy employee says 'all the registers are down' and walks away with no 'sorry for the inconvenience' or anything. So after about 30 seconds of being completely dumbfounded we head to the exit and 3 more people walk in and she doesnt say a word to them as the begin to shop.... The only reason I'm giving a one star is because the cashier was nice. As usual nobody around to ask for some help. When I was lucky enough to, they couldn't speak English and then went on to laugh and talk to their friend. They act like your in their way. Extremely unfriemdly. He said it's a misprint.then he said it's customers faults' when I said it happens all the time. I just asked for a refund . I said since when do customers stock shelves perfectlyto do that? He just walked away and turned around And said $8.98 smiling. I'm sick of it and no respect or I'm sorry. The Jupiter location is the absolute WORST!!! I tried to buy several furniture items and no one could find them when I went to check out or would help me. They are generally extremely rude. It always looks like a demolition zone with things sprawled through the walkways. The cashiers are generally mean and rude. This place has done a complete 180 degrees since five years ago. They advertise store pick up but had no idea what it was when I came to pick it up. Whenever I go to the Congress location it is a much better situation.
