I am posting here on Walmart but it is for an EXCELLENT product that they sell. The Hoover Deluxe Spinscrub Carpet Cleaner. I have own this product for a while and it has NEVER failed in super cleaning and pleasing me. I also use the heavy duty Oxy solution for pets. The trick is not to be in a hurry. Use the Hoover with very hot tap water and cover the entire rug twice but go over the NASTY spots several times. Then after emptying the machine rinse the rug again using hot tap water. Amazing how much more it cleans. Now since I am OCD I go over the rug again with no fluids to help the rug to dry even faster. Pets or no pets if you have a rug I highly suggest you RUN out and purchase this machine. 1 cleaning pays for itself. Oh, and don't skimp on the cleaner. AH, I can breathe again!!! read more

I just want to thank the cashier at The Walmart in La Porte, Fancy was her name, for all her patience with my son and I. We had over $700 in items and somehow I just always manage to complicate everything. We kept Fancy and the team lead, Patricia there 30 minutes after close to help us get all of our transaction complete. Worst Walmart ever! They.never.seem to have prices on the shelves and if they do they are wrong a lot of times. Even when you scan things in the app, the price is different than what the computer charges you up front. All the check out people ever say is they have to go with the price in the computer! This Walmart has serious deficiencies in their management and their staff. We have experienced some friendly and helpful staff at this location, but we were treated horribly by one manager, Patricia, and staff with whom she was socializing. Patricia, a short white man, and an older woman with brown hair were rude and hateful apparently in an attempt to leave the store at exactly 11pm when the store closed. They had only left one cashier open at the opposite end of the exit and we had gotten in line at 10:50pm. The cashier was slow and joking with her customers in front of us. She was yelling across to the male that she "won't be getting out of here until 11:30" and was giving us dirty looks. The same man had told us at 10:45 to "go get in line" while we were finding our final items. She never hurried to get us all out of the store because she stood and joked with the customers and discussed her life in great detail. She began checking us out and I said to my husband "we've been waiting here for 10 minutes. This could have been avoided if they had more checkout lanes open instead of only self check for people with more items". We have a family of 8 and this was our bi-weekly trip to stock up. The cashier began yelling "Patricia!!" and told another woman to get her. She never said anything to us and was apathetically moving our items across the scanner as we put them into the cart. About 5 minutes later, a heavily tattooed woman with dyed blonde hair came and asked what we wanted. The cashier claimed that she decided to call a manager because we had spoken to each other about having more lanes open so customers would not have to wait. Earlier when my husband had been in line I had looked for a shirt while we were waiting and the same manager had come from the back and yelled at me that the store was closed and I needed to exit. I explained politely that we were already waiting in line. So these employees were hoping to leave for personal reasons instead of do their jobs. The manager told me she shuts down all the checkouts in an attempt to let her employees leave at 11. She had no concern for customer care or making sure we were not waiting because we would also like to leave instead of stay an extra 45 minutes. Over the past 2 years, several other employees, usually younger men, have helped us toward the end of the night, but they were friendly, professional, and fast so we were done very quickly despite having two full carts. We were always able to leave before or at closing time. The manager lied and said that she saw me get in line after 11pm which she knew was a lie because she followed me to my husband who was in line and I had already stood there for 5 minutes before I went to look at shirts. The manager shrugged it off and made no apology for her employee who rudely started a false complaint on our behalf. My husband asked her why she called a manager for us and the cashier began to insult him. The manager then pushed past me and scratched me with her belt and grabbed the cashier and pulled her away shouting "walk away! Walk away!" The cashier stood and watched while drinking a soda as her manager slowly fumbled through the rest of the items. We were stunned and waited quietly for her to finally finish the job that should have been done 10 minutes prior. The manager commented that our receipt was "the longest she had ever seen" as we left. No thank you for the $700 we spent there that keeps her employed. I took photos of them so people can see who to avoid as these women are unable to be professional or mature. Patricia should not be a manager as she cannot control herself and has inappropriate boundaries with her employees. The cashier did not leave, but stood around socializing, drinking a drink, and smoking. We can use our hard earned dollars at HEB or Target because once again, Walmart proves they are the bottom of the barrel. read more

I cannot stand coming here, the service desk ladies are lost in the sauce of their policies. Because I'm going through a divorce they want to give me shit about the dropped last name. Like do I have to tell you my story. On top of that their Money Center is NEVER open. Once the service desk lady asked me "then why do you come here" like get back lady. Who is your Team Lead? Who is your Coach no type of service at all. This store's associates at the desk are trash and gossiping folks. I cannot stand some of the ppl that represent this service area. Customer service manager, Mona provided the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Zero greeting, standing around until her staff asked her for help, rude to her staff and a long line of customers, misdirected the people standing in line, and simply rude -not one nice comment to anyone. The rest of the employees were friendly and helpful, but the last encounter I had in this store ruined the whole experience and left a lasting impression -miserable. read more

I've never left a review on a company before (I've worked retail for 10 years. I know how people are) but today was ridiculous. I had 1 off day this week and decided to get a new battery installed. I didn't even need a battery yet but figured I'd do it before my vacation drive. I got my battery installed, drove away, and my truck started shaking violently and the check engine light came on. I went right back to Walmart. Josue (who was fantastic both times I was there) said he'd get the manager for me. Great. Rodger came out 30 minutes later and just let my truck run and thought that'd get the check engine light to turn off. Then told me to drive it down east blvd... I drove it straight to my mechanic and he said my cold air intake tube was destroyed. I had it repaired 3 years ago so there was tape on it and the Walmart "managers" blamed my sudden issues on that tape. I'm looking at $700 in repairs or trading in my paid off truck for a new one and paying a car note again. Oh and I'm no longer going on vacation because I can't drive my truck now. Overall had a fine experience here. They have the typical variety that you would expect from Walmart - cheaper, low price stuff. Ok for basic things. There is a huge parking lot so you shouldn't have trouble parking. There is also a gas station which generally has competitive gas prices. Lisa, I am really disappointed in the service I received today at your store. What's funny is that I drive to your store because I prefer it over the Pasadena location and yet still it falls short. Today me and my family were picking up a few items around 3:30. Nothing big. Vacuum filter. Baby food and some vegetables. We went to the self check out line by McDonalds which by the way ladies over there were very pleasant today and always help our son with his order. We scanned all of our items and our coupon and saw on the screen that it didn't work. We decided that since we have aways had a coupon for our filter we would ask for help with this one. LaTonya came over to help us. Not saying anything as she approached. She scanned her pink wallet to get in your system. Looked at our filter and coupon and simply said that "it didn't work". We explained that we get a coupon in the box every time we buy a new filter for the next time. We have always used them for this product and it always works. The response this time after starring at us like we were the ones trying to pull over a dollar coupon on her was "well it didn't work". That was the just of the whole conversation. You know it's only a dollar. Not a big deal. It's more about the customer service world we live in. Sometimes our staff don't have the right coaching to understand how they should treat and speak to people. Sometimes they shouldn't be on the front line and actually have contact to the public all together. But when I inform another team member at your store an they say "yeah she gets complainants every week". Then something has to give. As a business operator I set the standard high for all my team that have any contact with my guests. It's a lack of drive and want when a staff member accepts to mediocre, in LaTonyas case sub par if that. LaTonya certainly needs to be retrained or taught that verbal tones are everything. She also needs to make eye contact, act like she cares and maybe put effort into trying to help rather than thinking someone is here to take a dollar away from a multi billion dollar company. I would like someone to contact me regarding this. I checked our receipt from pasts and have used this coupon a few months ago. Now I would like my dollar. I love this Walmart... but there's always that ONE person who ruins it and her name is Debbie. I work night shifts and on my way home is this Walmart, I know they close at 11 and I always make it 15 to 20 minutes before. I get in and get out but Debbie will literally HARASS you till you have one minute. 3 times she told me exactly how many minutes I have!! I asked her for directions to dog food, she pointed in the direction, looked AT HER WATCH... and said I had 8 minutes....then again 3 MINUTES LATER !! And finally on the way to the register she stopped me and said I had 1 minute..... Rude old lady, who's always wears sunglasses. Just pure harassment. read more

Normally I never have an issue. Today was a different story. I had one coupon to add to my purchase cashier took it with no issue. To my surprise when i get home. Discount was never applied. I called customer service was put on hold. Customer service came back twice to the line and never again. I waited for Over 50 mins. I hung up tried to call again no answer no matter what department i tried to reach for a manager and transfer. Beyond unprofessional! If cashier's arw stealing coupons what else are they doing?!! This walmart is not 24 hours I tried to go at 3:20am because I work nights at one of the local refinery plants and I was told that it is but it is NOT Open 24/7. The cashiers and employees do not care about customers. I had an item produce that had no sticker on it the have PLU you can type in they said they aren't allowed to type them in and I would have to go get another one... most place go get someone to replace your item and don't make the customer do that horrible customer service. The crazy thing is if you go to self checkout you can key in the code the employees can't and buy it ?!? Doesn't make any sense that they can't trust the employees but trust customers lol I know it's hard to find help these days but the help y'all have now isn't doing this store any better read more

WalMart is one of those places that make life a little easy. The problem with this WalMart is the same problem, that every other WalMart has, the employees have no clue where anything is. I visited this Walmart for the very first time today (during my lunch hour) & during the holidays mind you, and I can not get over the fact that this place was extremely clean & organized! Back in May, I went thru self checkout and had a cashier chase me out to the parking lot screaming that I had not payed for my items. After getting in touch with the manager multiple times, there has still been nothing done about it. I have reluctantly gone back several times since, each time having no one to help if I couldn't find something and waiting in line for several minutes to check out. I have also been told that I could not return an item even though it was unopened and had a receipt. Most recently, they had several ride on toys that were greatly reduced. As I was on he phone with my wife and looking and one of them, an associate approached me saying they were all sold. Already a little upset that I was interrupted so rudely mid conversation, as I was walking outside to leave I saw that same woman on the phone with one of her friends asking her to come buy them because she had already put them aside. Alerting management of multiple issues obviously has no effect. I will be shopping at Target from this day forward. read more

We went to sporting goods twice and no one was there. We asked a worker for help and he said we had to wait 1 hour till the worker will be there. So I left because I found out Walmart is trash for people that want sporting goods for guns. We where not Evan getting a gun just some.22 bullets for a simi auto rifle. To go to the shooting range. Wish I could give them no stars. This location is awful. I don't know how it's possible, but I go out of my way to go to HEB or Kroger's before this Walmart location. Don't expect to get help in any department. Expect to scan your own groceries, even if you have a huge basket full of stuff. One of the cleanest supercenters I've ever seen! The prices are always great, and the service is fast. Sometimes they may have issues with long lines, but that only happens when many cashiers do not come in to work on the during the same shift. Sometimes when this happens, the managers "jump in" and help out on the registers as well. It is hard to please everybody, but they try hard!! read more

Despite the bad reviews I took a chance and brought my wife's car here to get the battery replaced because it is Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised to get good service. They take costumers on a first come first serve basis. That works good for me because they let you line up like at a fast food window and you can arrive before they open. I was Third in line. They did oil changes on the first 2 cars and then checked my battery. As i suspected the battery had a couple of bad cells. I got a great deal on a new battery and I was on my way. I will never come back to this Wal-Mart again. The vibe I got from this place was just wrong the moment I stepped through the entrance. I was trying to purchase a TV I had seen that they have on sale and it was in stock. I walked around the electronics section for almost ten minutes before finding an employee. The employee then said they don't work in electronics, so they called for someone to come to the Electronics dept to help me with the TV. After waiting for 15 minutes, I see someone approaching the section. The employee helped me but was not at all friendly and claimed that she "didn't know everything" when I asked her if a certain model was 720p or 1080p. After picking a TV, the employee said they would go look for it in the back. Another 10 minutes passed and the employee came back to where we were standing and pointed to a box right next to us and said "oh it's right here". 45 minutes into the store I finally got the TV and proceeded to get some overpriced groceries. Heading to the self checkout, the cashier overlooking the self-checkout gave me the weirdest vibes I had ever felt. Her eyes kept staring at me and my cart. The whole time she did not smile or say anything. Just moved zombie-like and scanned my items. Afterwards she said goodnight very softly. The vibes I got from this place creeped me the fuck out, and the employees are nothing short of scary to interact with.
