We paid full price for a prescription, but received half the prescription. We were told we would be called when the second half was ready. They never contacted us. Later we were told that they restocked the item because we had not picked it up (it was already paid for). They will not take responsibility for their mistake. We haven't received the second half, or a refund for the unfilled portion. The pharmacy operations manager "D" said he'd address it and call us in 72hrs, he didn't. I have a recording of the conversation with the pharmacy operations manager and I will be filing a complaint with the NM Pharmacy licensing Board. Terrible experience every time I go to this Walgreens! Always has homeless people outside of store in parking lot harassing customers ! Staff is horrible, it took staff over 20 minutes to unlock restrooms! Why they lock restrooms makes no sense! Staff working the pharmacy was incompetent! Staff working the registers up front were slow and rude with elderly customer. Elderly Customer was having trouble with his debit card and they refused to help him. I paid for his merchandise! The bald guy who works in liquor makes my life so difficult for no reason. Like I get it bro, it's a job nobody wants to do it, but is it really necessary to argue with every person who comes in? Hands down the slowest Walgreens pharmacy. Expect to wait in line for 30 min to an hour to get what you need. I don't understand how the Walgreens corporation has allowed this place to function like this. It's a money-making machine for Walgreens and they don't care to provide better service for a community like Las Cruces. ER ordered pain prescription at @ 6:00 am in the morning. When to pick up at @ 9:45 at night. Missing. Called - we are out - Monday - 3 Fractured toes !. Call hospital - would have to come in. No text - call about lack of drug. Also - picked up normal pres. - 3 missing - Never Received doctor renewal - I was at Doctors office past week and he show me that he has sent in renewals. Today I went to Walgreens this morning at 10:14 to pick up my prescription and I stood and waited in line for an hour before I had to leave for an appointment. I then came back later around 12:00 stood in line for another hour and once I got to the front was told my prescription wouldn't be ready to 3:00, so I had to leave and come back again. I got back to the store around 5:00 waited in line for 30 minutes and once I got to the front was told that my prescription wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. After today I will be switching my pharmacy because I can't deal with the workers who walk with no sense of urgency, have no productive skills when seeing there's a line, and who don't know how to work the computer system on their own. In addition this work pace isn't a one day deal, its been slow every time I've visited your pharmacy. read more

Another pit stop for us in Las Cruces & had a hard time finding a decent, fully stocked liquor store. (Sad LA has them on every block - poor or rich neighborhoods, go figure) Anyhow, this was another welcomed sight for already bloodshot eyes & we took our chances, walked in and saw a separate room which resembled an actual liquor store....this being Walgreen's! What the hell is up with California (maybe its just in So. Cal) but they barely have a tiny section of limited selection of alcohol. Didn't get a chance to go to the store/pharmacy part, but they did greet us when we walked in, although the clerk who run the liquor section was a little on the prickly side, even though he too greeted us - kinda salty though. Store itself is fine but the pharmacy is heinously understaffed and seemingly staffed by confused younger people at all times. Controlled substances are managed behind the counter and yet every time I go here the staff member at the registers can't seem to find any prescription in a shorter time period than five minutes. Lines are always long, it takes at least 20 mins to pick up your prescription on a good day, and frequently you have to wait significantly longer for your RXs to be filled because they're busy and understaffed. Just go across the street and use the pharmacy in Albertsons, everything is easier there even if they're not a 24 hour pharmacy. read more

I went into Walgreens to buy cards and some makeup. One of the female employees was sitting on a stool in the aisle of the cosmetic dept. Never once greeted me or asked me if she could help me. I got to the cashier and he too was aloof. The lipstick I got was not the price that was on the sign above the rack. When I questioned the price he asked me if I still wanted it- I told him the price and asked him to check. The one on the stool actually had to stand up and look - it was ONLY a certain color that was on sale. How I was supposed to know that is beyond me. Maybe if she had gotten off the stool she could have helped me to know that. No "sorry for the confusion" no customer service !! Since the wife's heart attack we find ourselves at the pharmacy here about every other day. The communication between her many doctors, cardiologists, surgeons and Mountain View labs has been near flawless. If there is an issue with her insurance not wanting to cover a medication prescribed by a physician the pharmacy contacts her insurance directly. We have rarely had to wait more than a day or two for the matter to be resolved. Sometimes they can do it while we wait. The pharmacy to us gets a 10 out of 10. Now that Las Cruces is down to one actual liquor store and it's on the other side of town for me; I just go in here for the beer I like (Bell's Two Hearted Ale - you cannot find it anywhere else on this side of town) or a decent bourbon. I was making regular treks to Spec's in El Paso because they have EVERYTHING. But COVID thwarted those outings. Thanks god for the liquor store here. They also sell cigarettes. The candy aisle has no sugar chocolate, the vitamin and supplement inventory always has what I need. It's a Walgreens...easy in and easy out. More limited than a Walmart of course. But Walmart sucks. This pharmacy is chronically understaffed. I have taken my prescriptions here since they opened and there are three registers, two of which are rarely used. It is typical to wait 20 minutes or more in line inside or outside in the drive-through. They should have 4 staff people (at the registers) everyday from 7 to 7. It's a busy place and the last thing sick people need is to be delayed amid crowds of other sick people. If Walgreens truly appreciated the health of their customers they would staff up this pharmacy. On the plus side, staff are always pleasant, curteous, and professional. I don't know how they keep smiling with all the demands put on them and the fast pace. read more

Showed up 2 1/2 hours later to find out no one had made the call yet & it would be ANOTHER 2 hrs. 2 stars because most times I don't have issues with day shift. Till recently and night shit has gotten so bad it's is a crap show, an I speaking about the pharmacy specifically. At 10 PM, my calls Should not be ignored or unanswered. I shouldn't be left on the line to listen to the world's most annoying music forever. Normally my scripts are filled within 2-3 hrs some times less. But this only happens at other pharmacies now. Not Walgreens on El paseo. They'll process the order and hold it so other pharmacies can't do anything. This happens with or without them having the meds in stock. Maybe you guys should hire people that want and like their jobs as well, cause these people just sound like they hate life. And let me just say, if you are training someone in pharmacy, you should probably make damn sure that you have another person on the register next to them instead of leaving the person sweating at the register all locked up cause she can't get through one person in line without messing up or anything. And this has been on so many occasions it's nuts. There just so many better ways to do things and y'all aren't doing them. It's getting worse instead. Not to mention the massive slack on medication. If y'all don't have it some other store does. But you wanna say no one has it. You guys just don't have it. Please stop retaining script you can't fill and if you do have it, fill it... I've been a loyal customer of this Walgreens's for a couple of years. New pharmacist = prescriptions not being filled when promised. I drop my prescriptions off the night before I need them (it IS a 24 hour pharmacy) so I can pick them up before work. 7 hours apparently isn't long enough to fill a single prescription. And then the pharmacist is going to be rude to ME about it, treat me as if my time doesn't matter, even tell me to come back in 20 minutes after I clearly stated that I need to go to work. Soooo-7 hours isn't enough time but 7 hours and 20 minutes IS? I'm so deeply disappointed for the first time ever with this pharmacy. So, here's the lowdown on this Walgreens. Much like everything else on this side of Las Cruces, it is always busy. Okay, I'm exaggerating. Once, when it was 5:00 AM and snowing and iced over I was the only customer in the store. Other than that, it's always busy. If you go through the pharmacy drive thru, expect a line. If you go inside to the pharmacy, expect a line. In general, you will be waiting. That said, the staff is fairly efficient at getting you in and out in as much time as possible. PRO: Near my house. CON: Parking lot is a war zone. CON: Always busy. read more

Not worth 1 star. Worst pharmacy staff EVER. Rude, liars, and they don't follow through. We will never be going back. If we lived in New Mexico, we would switch pharmacies immediately. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I travel around the country regularly and fill our prescriptions. This is the worst Walgreens I have ever experienced and we visited and called their pharmacy on several different occasions. This pharmacy is incredibly inefficient, which means long lines and waits. You can see multiple staff working, but only one person attends BOTH the drive thru window AND the inside line. Inside there is only 1 line, so you can't simply quickly drop off a Rx, which should only take a minute or two. So whether you are dropping off, picking up an already filled Rx, or needing to talk to a pharmacist, you must wait until all people in your line AND the other line are attended before you can even talk to the only person attending to customers. If they staffed the pick up, drop off, and consultation windows separately, things would move a lot more quickly read more

Don't deal with this pharmacy unless you have to. The wait is ridiculous, and they run out of medications on a regular basis and have trouble filling them. They have made numerous mistakes which have caused to have to make a second trip to the pharmacy to get a medication that they "forgot " to give it to us. read more

I was super impressed with the professionalism of this pharmacy. There were nine people working in the pharmacy and I could tell they were intent on getting scrips filled and ready for pickup. I had discovered that I had the wrong meds for the weekend. As we continued down the freeway, I called my pharmacy in ABQ. She quickly sent my correct scrip to Las Cruces. Arriving at the Walgreens Pharmacy a little over an hour later, I was so surprised and pleased that my prescription was ready and the whole transaction at the pickup window took 2 minutes, the technician was very friendly and in good humor though the line was about a dozen people long. Right about only dealing with the pharmacy unless u have to. I waited about 20 min at the drive thru the cashier didn't greet no smile no nothing just a long ugly I dont want to be here face. Anyways she told me another 30 min so I went inside with my daughter to kill some time. I went back after 30 min ......but no the other long face male no greeting of course no it'll be another hour..... i told him the other tech told me 30 min. No apology! I wouldn't recommend using this pharmacy. For the last few months they have been extremely slow. Today was the last straw. Took in a script at 12 today and they said it would be ready at 3pm. Went by at 330 and not ready. Said it will be ready by 530 for sure. Stopped by around 615pm and still not ready! Not even an estimated time! read more
