I'm a Walmart shopper. I go for the cheap prices. This location was awful. I typically try to ignore the Walmart clientele. But this store attracts the lowest of the low. Yes it was the Saturday night before Easter. And I was trying to do my Easter Bunny shopping. Shame on me for waiting until the last minute. The shelves were completely picked over and a total mess. Empty boxes. Very little candy. Since this location has an In store coffee shop - apparently shoppers think it is ok to leave their empty coffee cups on the store shelves. Curbside pick up is RIDICULOUS! Scheduled pickup time for 6-7pm. Get a message saying my order is ready for 4:37pm. I wait until 5:47pm let them know through the app that I am on my way. Pull into the parking lot at 6:04pm update my parking spot and then wait 42 minutes for an associate to stroll up with a clipboard and ask me if I am still here to pick up my order. I let him know that i have been waiting 42 minutes and if he has any idea when the order will be brough to my car. He has no idea he let's me know it is busy and the store manager is in the back trying to get more people to help. Ok 10 minutes, 20 minutes? would it be quicker for me to go into the store and get it myself. Just stares at his clip board and says he can't say how long it will take and do i want to cancel my order? Long story short the store manager dropped the ball on this one. I watched 10 cars pull away without getting their order and i am pretty sure none of them were happy. I was the 11th person who pulled away giving the store the bird and some choice words from my window. I'm not angry with the curbside pickup guys they work hard i'm angry at the store manager who let this happen. For context it took 32 minutes to get my order last time and that is why I scheduled it this time and gave them plenty notice that I was on my way on the app so I could be in Q and the guys would not have to struggle as hard. i did my part and did what i was supposed to do. Why can't the store and the store manager do their job and make sure a bigg component of their business is working correctly. Or is this a ploy to get people pissed off enough to sign up for walmart+ and have items delivered? Case being I can get my items from other stores. This store clearly does not respect its customers. So frustrated! I placed an order for delivery between 6 and 7pm. At 6.40 pm i received a text that delivery had been delayed but it would arrive within 2 hours. 3 hours later it still had not been delivered. I contacted customer service and they called the store and they said there was no driver to deliver it. So why didn't the store contact me? I shouldn't have to call them when they drop the ball. Just... wow. Nobody goes to a Walmart because they *want* to; in most stores, few employees want to be there either. At this location, however, they manage to raise "lazy" and "indifferent" to impressive levels. When I've asked a stocker where something is they've all be helpful, but many register-area employees will expend far more energy avoiding customers than just simply helping. One of their "greeters" for example, who one would think is there to represent the store with helpful answers, simply stares past you ignoring polite questions, suddenly deaf and blind (then answers her radio to show it's intentional). And considering the occasional OSHA code violations it's probably best to avoid anything perishable. Your best bet is to go anywhere else. If for some reason you *have* to go, be prepared knowing that any returns or exchanges are best done online. If it's one of the days when their service desk isn't open they will not give a damn or offer any alternatives, even the manager (sympathy shout-out to the family I watched painstakingly unload a bulky item from their car only to get turned away at the door, in the middle of the day). read more

*Grocery Delivery Review* I wrote the most horrible review an half hour ago but deleted it: I place an order November 5th and received the wrong order. I understand mistakes happens but what followed after made it feel like I was ordering oil for my furnace or something. I've just received my order or what they were able fulfill but that's after 48 hours from my initial order and almost 24 hours of my reorders. There were customer service agents that were very helpful and courteous and the store I guess finally was able to get a driver but I think honestly Walmart needs to find a better way of handling orders especially in a pandemic. If the managers do read this please consider this 1: Call back the orders who are being delayed. A simple reachout from the store can make a total difference. "Hey this is Walmart calling. We apologize that your order is being delayed, but we are working our hardest to get it out to you." Something. Give the customer the option to wait longer or to cancel but don't assume for the customer especially without warning or notification 2: or you can drastically lower your monthly membership so it can be "hey you get what you paid for." read more

The slowest tech in world take over another hour just to put the tires on. I have been to tires stores and had my tires bought, mounted with balancing in shorter time it took them to tell me I need to more tires. Waiting 2 hours for 4 tires is crazy. Especially. I used the bakery for a bridal shower cake and if came out wonderful. The young cake decorator (Yariveth) was super friendly and accommodating to my requests. I was looking for a bridal cake made out of cupcakes in the shape of a dress and bouquets. It came out better than expected and the price was cheap. You only pay for the cost of the cupcakes. I bought 48 cupcakes for $26. Thats it. Thanks again Yariveth. I will definitely be back for more special occasion cakes. read more

Always out of stock on the SAME items we attempt to buy week after week. There is never any adjustment for high turnover items at all. Soda water? Bagels? Hot dog rolls? Sliced bread? Don't plan on ever finding any of these items here. Also inexplicable discontinued stocking of items without anyone being able to explain why . Toasteds Crackers? Gone. One time I wanted to speak with a manager due to the constant issue of bread dough allowed to be sitting days after expiration long enough for it to become slimey. One of the cashiers pointed the manager out and said "just don't tell her I told you she's the manager". She was covered in gold jewelery and very aloof. Apparently my issue was of no concern. Also the fear of employees to point out that manager makes me shudder to imagine her managerial style. All in all a place to avoid. Unless you are considering going into the West Boylston walmart. Then it's worth driving down 190 two more exits. If it wasn't for how close it was I wouldn't ever set foot in here. Also as a side note, everyday there is some group or individual begging for money at the entrances to this walmart. Not once or twice a week, every single day. So if you like being hit up for money every time you enter or exit a store, this will be heaven on earth for you. read more

The customer service at this Walmart is probably one of the worst I've ever seen. Everytime I go they are unable to do whatever I seem to ask whether it's returning an item or finding an item in a different size/color. It's incredibly frustrating when you're told that no one up at the counter 3 plus associates aren't able to do a simple return. This is where we learn and plan better by having at least one available that can do that function. Cashiers seem to be a hit or miss there too. Some of them are great, speedy, and friendly while others it seems like you're ruining their day by having them work. ***Only redeeming quality about this place us the Pharmacy. This store generally has good prices on most things except food, which you can find cheaper at a regional grocery store chain. However, they have strayed from the vision of Sam Walton. If he got a fantastic deal he would pass on almost all the savings to the consumer rather than charge a lower price than other chains but still retain a big markup. So prices are good but not fantastic, and are rising. For instance, they cut the size of their store brand contact lens solution and raised the price. This is basically salt water, and there's no reason to charge this much. I also feel guilty every time I shop here because of their reputation for treating employees and suppliers poorly. When I am looking for an item I will usually try somewhere else first, but the closing of a department store on the Leominster/ Fitchburg line has made that more difficult. read more

I've never had a good experience there. Today I went in to pick up my prescription, and the Asian Pharmacist named Carol who clearly hates her job, was insensitive and rude. I see she's "very" pregnant, ok it causes moodiness, but rolling your eyes directly in front of the customer you are helping (me) is extremely RUDE. Snapping at the customer (me) is uncalled for. Being a pharmacist requires you to be helpful, considerate, and friendly. This pharmacist who is probably still upset that she wasn't accepted to Med school, and as a second career chose to be a pharmacist, should not be hostile about it. Even so, I may be incorrect about the Med School thing, but having someone who is directly responsible for filling up a pill bottle, that you need on a daily basis, is an important job. If you hate what you do, quit. If you're uncomfortable because you're pregnant and taking it out on your customers, go out on maternity leave. I actually can't wait until she does, maybe the much needed time away, will do her good. read more

This place is a DUMP. As soon as I walked in today, I felt my skin crawl. The floors barely look like floors; it's kind of like what you'd expect in a warehouse. The layout is awful and there's barely a selection, though I didn't make it through the entire store before I decided to forget it, pay for what I had, and go to the Lunenburg Wal-Mart instead. I dealt with one employee while at the service desk to get a money order. The girl who rang me up wasn't rude necessarily, but she was very jaded. Most of the customers I came across felt like the worst of Fitchburg, which didn't help with the experience. I've been to this Walmart a few times only because I was in the area, but never again. I'll never step foot in this place again, but instead will take the extra time to go to one further from wherever I am (or go to another store altogether). So I placed a pick-up order for an upcoming camping trip that I'm taking as I knew I would be in the area and had heard about how easy it is suppose to be. I placed my order over a week and a half ago. My original delivery date was last week Friday. My order was delayed for an additional week and I wasn't notified until I arrived last Friday to pick up the items & I was notified via email. No one in the store could give me a straight answer. I show up today and check in only to presented with 4 items when my receipt shows 5 items. I ask if I have to wait for the other item or what the case may be and the sale associates informs me that they cancelled my order as it was here too long. I then show her the email that tells me my order is delayed and NOT to pick up until Friday 11/23 which is today. I get a shrug of her shoulders and no help. WORST SERVICE EVER! Stick to Amazon! You will get your items on your scheduled delivery date with NO problems! Also I have used this service at least two times before with only one successful purchase, so this is two strikes and I'm not going bother giving them a third chance to fuck up. read more

This store is hardly ever fully stocked so, one can't find what they want. Customer service individuals are rude and/or lazy. I can think of 2 separate times where this is so very really true. My friend bought a new Track phone and asked the customer service agent for help and, he was told that he had to couldn't help him when he asked about the activation of a phone card - what does a customer service agent do here at the stores when they say this?!!! On another occasion, I had lost my friend in the store, did not have a cell phone and asked if I could call him so he could locate him w/ the store or parking lot, as I was in a panic state, but was told, " We Don't Allow The Use of Public Telephones. Not good and despicable as they only want your money but will not help someone in real need - a phone call - common on - so very despicable and unhelpful!!!! They don't mind you spending your hard-earned $$$$ at their store but only see things in black and white - but there is only a grey area - which they don't get. They are horrible and hardly a helpful store - So if you need genuine help, don't count on these people - they are a reflection of what our society has now become which is selfish, lazy, and disrespectful which is bad and unhelpful. I gave this Walmart 4 Stars just because at times my opinion can change but all in all, the Wal-Mart Employees are so If. The best they can. There are times when there are back ups and waiting lines. But Wal-Mart is giving us products for a great price, and If we want great prices we have to expect they can only hire and keep so many employees. The store doesn't always look pretty, but for the amount of traffic they get and the number of quality employees they are allotted, they are managing this place pretty well. I find what I need and if I don't I can almost always find someone to explain to me why I can't find it. They can scan and see if any are in the store and if they see there are and none are on the shelf, there is always theft, and putting items on wrong places. I've received so many smiles and normal reasons why anything is as it is. So I can't say they are a perfect 5 Star store but for what I need they are definitely a 4 Star place. It is more then I expect. Bottle and can redemption center all new that's a plus! Pharmacy, another plus. You can take your blood pressure there. And there are many things that you can do all there in the one store. Gunny is my favorite employee.. he's a funny gentleman that works mainly upfront and he works there for the people.. he's a people person and he loves his time there. And that is what you want to see when the shoppers are not so nice, the employees still try and help even the most impatient customers are treated kind and that's something they know how to do here. read more

If I could give this place a -10 I would. Horrible customer service-argumentative cashiers-people are miserable here and extend it to the clientele.
