I'm a Walmart shopper. I go for the cheap prices. This location was awful. I typically try to ignore the Walmart clientele. But this store attracts the lowest of the low. Yes it was the Saturday night before Easter. And I was trying to do my Easter Bunny shopping. Shame on me for waiting until the last minute. The shelves were completely picked over and a total mess. Empty boxes. Very little candy. Since this location has an In store coffee shop - apparently shoppers think it is ok to leave their empty coffee cups on the store shelves. Shoppers also think it is ok to leave all their trash every where. Self serve checkouts have lots of troubles. At any given moment 8 of the 12 machines were flashing for assistance.

I've been to quite a few Walmarts, mostly urban ones. Out here in Leominster, we're in the suburbs at best. And as Walmarts go, this is a good one. The lights were bright, the floors were clean, and the shelves were stocked. I was able to quickly find exactly what I wanted (a gift) and pay for it quickly. Of course, it's Boston. So the Walmart "restaurant" is a Dunkin..

I had gone to Walmart for years and never had any problems spending thousands of dollars a month even using Walmart as a go to mommy needs a break place to go to this particular day I had went shopping at the last minute to get snacks for the kids for school for the next day we shop for about an hour and a half close to closing time buying pajamas for pajama day water jugs for the kids snack lunch box we were greeted Buy a Walmart employee very aggressively and unnecessarily let me know that he was security dressed up in a regular Walmart shirt or smock as if that wasn't too much we were followed around in the store as if we was not wanted there I asked customer service about water thermoses for lunch boxes for kids they didn't have any we ended up finding two underneath theShelvi we then proceeded to picking out snacks since and due to the Covid we have been placed on food stamps I approached customer service and said that we needed to put the card in manually because the strip was broken on the card first customer said they did not know how to do it a supervisor was asked and they said they do not do it I couldn't believe that I had over $175 worth of food in the cart and they were not going to allow me to put my EBT card in manually I know that they're not allowed to do it with credit cards but since the pandemic we even allowed to order food online with the EBT card they were very disrespectful and mean spirited about it basically said he wasn't going to do it in disbelief we were upset we waited to do the shopping in the afternoon so there was no other stores available or open so as a parent it was important that I get snack for these kids the next day I asked to speak to the night manager and it seem to be that the nasty attitude trickled onto him to he stated he didn't care and they don't do that here I pleaded well the kids have school tomorrow and I don't have snacks can you just do it one time he said no in a very aggressive manner and walked away with my child standing right there to add salt to injury we had been talking for a few minutes in the screen at timed out the other supervisor at already been standing by the checkout area as if we were doing something not legal instead of pressing OK on the frozen screen asking if we need more time she decided to cancel the whole order and re-ring the items up as if we put something in the bag that was not ranked up she rang the whole order trying to explain to her self I go to Walmart all the time the screen gives you about 2 to 3 minutes to respond and it asks you if you needed more time she did not need to bring the whole order back up from the time that I walked into Walmart I was discriminated against during the pandemic food stabilization has been very difficult for most as a mother of five children being told that you cannot use a service that is given through the government during a pandemic that was given to try to help with a financial handicap to provide for my family at this time and to know that the service could've worked I would've been done if they wanted to discuss me my daughter who is only 13 years old question while leaving the whole events from the time that we stepped in so my child is now aware of the disrespect that we endured while shopping at WalmartWe have shopped at Walmart for years since they were newborn and while I do not live in Leominster my old go to Walmart near me on a first name basis over the years spending thousands and thousands of dollars there I was now disrespected in a Walmart in my new district it is ruined my outlook and it makes me not want to spend my money at this Walmart which might be an inconvenience Truly disgusted to just find out that they could've done it manually and there is no restrictions on EBT benefits and that they are allowed to manually put in numbers Numbers to be able to buy food not only was I discriminated against for what I felt was my skin color but also my disability at this time with not being able to provide efficiently for my own family during the time of Covid and I felt embarrassed because we needed the snacks for the next day and I didn't have the money to get everything that they want it at that time

But Wal-Mart is giving us products for a great price, and If we want great prices we have to expect they can only hire and keep so many employees.

High low quality. Hannaford is the worst. I buy pretty much the same food every week but when I…read moreshop at Hannaford, I always end up with a higher grocery bill than other grocery stores. Furthermore, they have very limited selection. I often leave with my grocery list half filled because they don't seem to carry the things I need and I'm able to get from other stores. Additionally, their produce is the absolute worst. I once bought an artichoke there for $4.99 it couldn't be cut with a knife because it was so tough and the entire thing had to be thrown away after boiling for longer than usual to be able to cut through it, but I was unsuccessful. It was just too tough. In my opinion, their apples are old and most likely in the freezer for more than a year because when you squeeze them, they're on the soft side and wrinkly. grapes are soft. They're often out of broccoli, with no exception when you buy a basket of strawberries buried in the center are moldy ones. I bought shredded chicken that was expensive but when I got home underneath the very thin top layer of shredded chicken were tough chunks. If I wanted to shred my own, I would've bought chicken and shredded them and wouldn't have paid high price for what they called shredded chicken, but it was not shredded chicken. I've often seen old expired food. And besides all that you pay more at Hannaford than you do it any of the other grocery stores in the area. Hannaford is the worst.

We tried Kalon beef a number of times by buying from their storefront but finally decided to buy half a cow. It took a couple months to finish off the previous cow we'd purchased before getting to the Kalon cow but immediately knew something was wrong as soon as we tried our first steak. There was a subtle "off" taste to it. Over the next month or so, we tried multiple different cuts and all the ones with any fat or marbling had the same issue. The leaner cuts were mostly okay. I reached out to Kalon using the form on their website. No reply. I reached out again via email. No reply. I was very clear that I wasn't expecting a refund or reimbursement of any kind because I knew it had been a few months. I just wanted to inform them and ask if anybody else had reported the same issue. Still nothing back from them. Eventually, a few months later, I remembered that I still hadn't heard anything back so I called and asked to speak to someone in charge. They were super sarcastic on the phone. It started with "Are you sure you bought from us? I don't even recognize your name." It progressed to "Many people complain about the taste because they don't know what real grass-fed beef tastes like; it's not like store-bought meat." It ended with "We had another complaint a few months ago but our owner took the beef home and ate it all and it was fine." I went there three days ago to drop off the over 240lbs of what remained. Around 80lbs of assorted steaks and cuts. Around 20-30lbs of roasts. Around 100lbs of mince. Around 30-40lbs of bones, tallow, organs, etc. I was very polite to the person at the desk (it's not her fault, after all), we were respectful of the space and brought everything back in cooler boxes and placed them neatly inside. I handed them a letter (pic attached) and included my phone number in case the owner wanted to call me back. Still zero response. There are a few other reviews online complaining about the same "off" taste but there's seemingly always some sort of excuse as to why it's the customer's fault or that the customer just doesn't understand what good beef tastes like. I also saw some posts about their farming practices, stating that their animals were feeding on what used to be dump grounds. I didn't see that for myself so I can't comment but it was worth noting that it's being said by more than just a few people. Personally, I've accepted the loss of, literally, thousands of dollars of meat. It would've just been the professional thing to reach out to me at least once to discuss the matter. Instead, I get complete radio silence. I included a pic of the email I'd sent and the letter I left. I also included a comparison pic of Kalon's mince to the mince from my previous farm. Theirs looks extremely pale and anemic in comparison. It also doesn't match what they sell in their storefront. I suspect their storefront gets meat from their healthy cows but bulk orders are not from the same batch but, obviously, that's purely speculation so take it for what it's worth. I have no evidence one way or another but the discrepancy in quality between bulk and storefront is visible/tastable.

So about 2 yrs ago I had asked my bestie about this place & she took me there. I was visiting her on Monday for the night so on my way home to my Mom's house on Tuesday I stopped in here to pick up some apple cider for my Mom's boyfriend & to grab some apple cider donut's for them, me & another best friend. I do find this store to be expensive but they have lots of things in here. Frozen foods, drinks, apples, premade meals in their refrigerated area, candy, snacks, jelly's, dips, desserts, produce (etc.) & a counter where you can get something made there to go or you can eat it there in a small seating area. Their bathrooms are outside. Give yourself plenty of time if you're going to stop in here because there is soooo much to look at!

The store is filled with all kinds of goodies and variety you'd expect in a good country store. I made myself not look around too much because I would have bought a lot. There drinks selection is a dream. I picked a Dr. Pepper tall boy. I ordered my sandwich then went to the front to pay for it while it was being prepared. There was an older man with a lady checking out before me. The cashier was engaging in conversation with the gentleman for a bit, it was lovely. It was real , again lol, country stores down vibes. I didn't mind waiting at all and rather enjoyed it. They have an apple orchard and pumpkins and many varieties of apples, cider, deli items, boba kits, wachamacallit and other harder to find candy bars, gourmet popcorn. So much more. Highly recommend this place.
