The mall states it is open until 9 pm on Friday night but all the stores inside close at 7pm drove 30 minutes to come to this mall to walk around and look at a bunch of closed stores. I wanted to do some shopping. The only thing I could buy was pretzels. Waste of time. read more

I really can't rate this place poorly. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a dying mall, but there's still a lot of stores there, plenty of parking, a tiny food court, and a great place to walk when the weather is too cold outside. I really love the one Chinese restaurant in the corner I think called golden wok. The lady there is so nice and hard working and they have bobba smoothies. I really like the Jo-Ann's and Burlington there. There's many entrances as well so it's not like you're walking around the whole mall from the opposite end just to get what you want. the mall plans to put a Cosco's and gas station where sears is and i tried stating my opinion but Microsoft refused my comment so I'm leaving a review. so i don't know why you need a Costco when Leominster already has a BJ'S which is basically the same thing. that just seems like a waste of resources and compotation. as well as why would you build a gas station when bj's already has one. i get the mall is dying out but this isn't the answer. I've been in this mall a few times when I visit my brother and its okay. It has developed a lot more over the years with additonal stores and places to eat. For the area, its a great place to shop and eat. I was there on Christmas Eve doing some last minute shopping with my brother (men, LOL) and it wasnt crowded at all. I saw some cool activities for the kids while the parents shop. The mall always appear clean and they have sufficient parking. read more

The Mall at Whitney Field - Shopping Centers Near Me - Leominster, Massachusetts

This mall was struggling even before covid and many stores are closed. But the restrooms are open, there is ample parking, and they play some good 80's tunes, maybe because that decade was their heyday. Back then the mall was known as Searstown but the Sears flagship store folded, followed by Circuit City, Toys R Us and Macy's. Ownership has changed hands several times with plummeting prices, and it is probably a matter of time until it is more mixed use and less retail. I find some things I like, but the selection is down from what it used to be. The mall opens at 10 but stores don't open until 11, which is only useful if you like to walk laps for exercise. Only 2 places were open in the food court at lunchtime on the weekend, Auntie Annie's and a very scaled down Dunkin' Donuts with no menu posted. Hopefully with better times the mall can regain some of what it has lost. read more

Stopped in at this mall this afternoon to grab some last minute clothing items and I have to say that I actually liked shopping here. This mall isn't the most spectacular mall in the world, but it had everything we needed. The food court was a bit sad, but if you need a quick snack then it will meet the build. The other nice thing about this mall is that there is a nice children's play area but the teens hanging out here are a bit intrusive. read more

I like this mall because it is small and easy to navigate. It has your average anchor stores, Macy's, Sears, and JC Penney's. Add to that Circuit City amd Old Navy and it's a nice combination. They also have the standards for most malls, Hot Topic, Spencers, Victoria's Secret, and the always necessary Friendly's Restaurant so that you don't fit into anything at Vickie's Secret. My favorite place to come has been Bitten at Steve & Barry's. Although by the time I get their they no longer have anything in my size -- it's nice to know that I have optons. Bless SJP's little heart that she thinks every woman is entitled to have some affordable fashion in her life. The food court -- well, isn't a court really. Auntie Annie's, Orange Julius/Dairy Queen, and a small coffee place is it. The Golden Arches vacated last I knew. Not a bad place to stop if Route 2 traffic comes to a complete stop -- which happens frequently :) read more

Ok...not awesome. I'm giving this mall their lofty second star because of the updated, comfortable, and stylish furniture they have placed throughout the mall. It's at least a step in the right direction. The rest of the mall, however, needs to play catch up...badly! This mall died in my heart a long time ago. Fun Fact: The GameStop used to smell like poo and nerd B.O. until they moved into a new storefront a few years back. There are fewer and fewer stores every time I visit. Even The Gap left for greener pastures. Although there was a brand-new DSW rip-off when I was there last that appeared to be getting decent foot traffic. Wife likes to go for JC Penney's and Macy's, I tolerate it for either a)Auntie Anne's pretzels, b)DQ milkshakes, or c) the possibility of going to the nearby Newbury Comics afterwards. I found this to be a smaller mall then others that I have been in, but it worked for me the day I went in. Had to go to Kay's which was located right inside the doors I went in. They were not busy so my friend & I were waited on upon our arrival. I had bought my friend some earrings for Christmas which ended up breaking 2-3 mths later. She called the store prior to our arrival inquiring on an exchange & was told it would be the managers decision. I had the receipt & the staff was very friendly & allowed us an exchange for new earrings. Mind you I live in NV & my friend lives in MA so she waited till I was in town to go in with the receipt. We left as happy customers! Thanks Kay's!! Also stopped in Old Navy, great selection of clothes, clean store & friendly staff. Also found this great $1.00 store. Had tons of items of good quality....nothing better then walking away with a lot of items & not spending a ton of $$$$. Nice mall to hit for a short shopping trip! read more

Sbarro's had the most delicious pizza I've ever tasted. It had no red sauce, but it was loaded with succulent greasy pepperoni and melted, perfectly burnt cheese. The crust was thick and buttery, smothered with pepperoni. It was delicious, and the mall itself was extremely exquisite, and the shops were fancy and the servers, gracious etiquette, I enjoyed myself thoroughly. It was great! I give this mall a 5 out of 5! Bleeeh! This place is small, small, SMALL! One floor, with no really good stores and I wouldn't even call the food court a food court.

The Mall at Whitney Field is not that big nor is it overly fancy (think Burlington Mall) but it's got a certain charm, and I like to stop in when I'm in the area. It has a huge Old Navy, Chuck E Cheese for the kiddies, and your typical mall fare (Hot Topic, Sears, Game Stop). There's a train that seems to run constantly and goes relatively fast (at least I find it fast for a crowded shopping center) that you sometimes have to dodge out of the way to avoid being uh bumped by it. The place is busy and can sometimes feel a little claustrophobic. Parking is plentiful and there are satellite stores and restaurants a-plenty if you don't find what you need at the mall itself. I find it very similar to the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers. read more

if your going to make a big purchase on something like a treadmill or appliance just go somewhere else. sears isn't worth it! they are awful to deal with. I had a technician come out because my treadmill was tripping the circuit breaker they said it was my motor and it would cost $570 to fix it. And it wasn't under warrenty anymore so I decided to just buy a new one, and when I got the new one that treadmill tripped my curcuit breaker also interesting I thought, so then I had an electrician come., I didn't have enough amps for the treadmill. bottom line I threw out a good treadmill because supposedly the motor was bad. my treadmill was only 3 yrs old. sears wouldn't do a damn thing about it! so in return I will give them a bad review. This mall has a nice Old Navy, JC Penny, Sears and Macy's. Luckily, you can access them all without actually going into the mall. The mall itself always smells weird, is crawling with scantily clad, ill-behaved teens and tweens, creepy young adults who stare at you and families with 5+ kids clogging up the corridor. To top it off, there is a train that rides around the mall endlessly (like a tractor pulling carts for the kiddies) that going fast and you have to squeeze out of the way for. I don't want to dodge moving vehicles while shopping. Its very annoying. read more

Was in the mall with my wife while she was getting her nails done so wandered into Victorias Secret. Her birthdays coming up and they were having an awesome sale so found a few sets of top and bottoms. Forgot I didn't have my wallet but alas there's android pay. Unfortunately it was down. Being that it was the last bottoms in that size in two of the sets I begged the girl to set them aside for me. It was closing so she said just to be sure to be back the next night or they'd go back on the shelf. Understandable. Well the next day we were having a snowstofm, so I called to see if I could pay for them over the phone or something. The women I spoke to very rudely told me the girl who did it never should have and so they were put back on the shelf. Though this may be true c'mon. I feel like my verbiage isn't putting across how rude she was. But it sounded like the poor girl who helped me was going to get in trouble. Are we really that F!#/÷# as a society? What happened to people being nice? I dont know what their quote un quote corporate policy on this is and I don't care. Point is someone was being nice and sounds like she got in trouble for it. Maybe thats why people dont go out of there way for each other anymore. Well VS looks like youve lost a customer.
