I went to the electrical department to buy a cell phone. I was taken care of quickly by the vendor, Yezz Aguayo. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. She was very patient while I obtained the needed information from the owner of my telephone account. I was expecting the process to take a long time (like it does when you go to the telephone provider stores), but it went quickly. Afterward she went the extra mile and showed me where I could find the phone cases that were on clearance and the plastic to cover the screen of my new phone. She went to the cash register and added up my purchases. Then, she put the screen protector and the case on my phone for me. I was amazed at the wonderful service I received! The annoying: This Walmart NEVER has enough employees. I am a big fan of self check out but not when I'm doing a MAJOR shop. The last 5-6 times I have gone there has either been no cash register lanes open or only 1. When there has been 1, it was ran by a nearly incompetent human who took s century to scan and bag, didn't know how to weigh and ring up a bag of avocados, and had to call a manager over three different times for assistance. My major complaint in summer is the lack of cooling. You can catch associate fanning themselves to keep cool. They'll tell you the store's air conditioning is controlled by headquarters. They look at weather patterns to use as little energy as needed. Checking a thermometer on sale shows the temperature at above 78 degrees. Bars of chocolate feel pliable. Horrible experience! We are traveling through and forgot a few items. Found a Walmart and stopped at 8am. I was in the store maybe 15 minutes, maybe. My shopping list was small. Sponges, chicken broth, dog food, and a dog leash. That was all I had on my list!!!!!! The cashier was rude. I asked how long the screen would be frozen. She was condescending and asked if I needed help. Yes, I actually would like help, the screen is frozen! She showed me how to use my card in a super rude way, I seriously know how to use my card! The worst part was the guy in the parking lot!!!! I have a dodge dually one ton pulling a 38' 5th wheel. I parked at the edge of the parking lot, honestly not to help others out but so that I don't get blocked in by idiots. Remember I was only shopping 15 minutes and was parked at the edge of the lot. The guy with the vest on is waiting at my truck when I come out. He tells me I need to leave that I cannot park there. I told him I was in a parking area and not in anybody's way. He said trailers are not welcome. Seriously? He watched me walk out with my sack of groceries! So beware! If you are traveling please stop at ANY Walmart but this one!!!!! You are not welcome to shop for 15 minutes at 8am! I would have returned my $20 sack of groceries except I needed the stuff and didn't trust leaving my truck and trailer parked outside for any longer. Walmart get it together! so disappointed in walmart in lindon.... i went in yesterday sept 8th to check the outdoor grill prices, we asked if they would match the syrcuse on-line store price, but they said we would have to come back monday to talk to the department head, so monday i went in and she was nice but said she couldn't match it without alves anderson approval, i asked if he was there she said yes go to the service desk and they will call him, she said a lot of customers are asking when the grills are going to drop since it it end of the season. i proceeded to the front, i paid for my cart items then went to the service desk and asked for anderson.... they asked why so i told them about the grill question, they replied he wont match it, i asked if i could talk to him and they said he was in the store but wont talk to me about it since they dont match it, (they didn't even try to call him) i said i'd still like to talk to him about when they will drop their grill prices, they said he doesn't plan on dropping them for quite a few weeks that the re-model is costing so much that he said he cant drop the prices of anything... i said i'd still like to talk to him so he knows the customers are waiting for the drop... the service lady suggested that i hurry up to syrcuse if i'd like a good deal.... i left the store irritated that the store manager wouldn't even take time to talk to me and that he has trained his employees to not call him if requested.... i don't think i will be shopping at that walmart for awhile knowing they don't care to hear from their customers .... read more

I bought 4 bikes from this Walmart first was the 24" mint bike tube after tube replaced with in 3 weeks. 18" everything was loose 20" nothing yet 26" mint bike every time you shift the chain pops off everything loose. Never again people there should be ashamed of there craftsmen ship. read more

To start off, the only good customer service I received was from the voice in the self checkout line on the computer, and the automatic door as I entered and exited the store. Everything else, or basically anything with a beating heart? ...SUCKED (to put it nicely) Needed help in electronics to pick up an electronic order. Asked a worker that walked by for some help and he just put his hand up and said "I'm not in the mood dude." nice. a nice young lady eventually came and "helped" me. I needed to pick up an online order but she was still in training and didn't know how to do that (understandable!) She went to ask her Manager and she came back shortly and said "you came in too late" okay. But I was just curious as to what time was the final time to come in. 8-9pm was the answer i finally got as she came back 5 minutes later from talking to her manager. 9pm? you're a 24 hour location? online pickups cut off at 9? Really love this online grocery pickup through Walmart! It's so simple to use their website to place my order. It's FREE, which is the best part of all. It's always so quick and simple to pick them up. I can leave my kids in the car, they bring it right out to the car. The staff is always so friendly. One time I had to come an hour later and they were so understanding. My order has also always been on time. They text you when it's available and you have an hour window to come pick it up. Amazing! My new method of getting my groceries. My only advice is to check on fragile produce (like berries or greens). You can return it right there if it isn't looking fresh. I appreciate the Lindon Walmart because it is a clean store, however, this store never seems to be stocked very well. They recently updated the store but the shelves were not even stocked for Christmas shopping. After Christmas it always takes MANY MONTHS for them to get stuff back on the shelves. 3 things: 1. The staffs have no idea what they're doing, location of any item, uses of any item. Experts at "I don't know" 2. Why do they even sell fish? Half of the fish are dead and are being sucked into the filter while the remaining ones are really sick and in bad conditions. 3. Customer service and returning services are a hassle. They do not want to help you and they don't like to refund your money. We bought 2 bikes, both fell apart within 2 weeks of light usage. The handle bar on one fell apart while i was going down a steep hill and almost died. lol thnx walmart. We brought them back and they told us they can only fix them and not refund the money. So we let them fix the bikes. Three days later both fell apart again so we took it back and they told us the same thing so we asked for the manager and he coldly said, okay we'll refund you the money. Their food products are decent and cheaper than other grocery stores but don't expect high quality on anything else, especially customer service. read more

Don't use the Online Grocery and Pickup. I tried this out, but found out they can substitute your order with different items. One item I was given in place of what I ordered had no close resemblance to what I had actually ordered. It is very frustrating. I ordered some fresh produce. One of those was apples. They have brown spots and soft spots. I think those apples are the kind that most people would put back and not buy. I did also get bananas and sweet potatoes, and those look fine. read more

Very low quality customer service. The prices are always confusing, misleading at at times wrong. Savings tags placed near the sale items are also misleading and confusing. If you ever try to complain, the staff is ready to fire back with excuses. I would rather go to five different stores than stop to shop here for everything. I don't know why this Walmart has two places for reviews so I am posting in both. Especially because this was not my first experience with poor customer service at this location. After I accidentally left a bag of paid for groceries behind at the checkout, I called the store to see if I could have them brought out to the online pickup area. The service manager tells me that they can not do that. I will need to park again on a busy Saturday and come in and I will need to wait in the long service line to see if they even have my groceries in​ the service area. I thought that it was her JOB to be of service to customers who spend their money there. Automotive department was an absolute joke... Only get one star because zero was not an option. Pulled in there midday, two cars in front of me one in the process of being written up. Went there becauseI have lifetime rotation and balance. I have making a few trips and put in quite a few miles on it latly. One of the tires was low so I decided to take it over there and have them rotate, balance the tires for me. First of all , after waiting almost 30 minutes to get my truck written up, because they started the car in front of me, and ran into problems and decided to try and diagnose the problem before the even got it written up. As 5 mechanic stood around that car scratching their heads I asked the service writer if he could go ahead and get mine written up and maybe at one of the mechanics on my car while they were all working on that one, and I was told that they only had one handheld device that was charged up at the moment and I would just have to wait until they were done and decided what to do with the other one. Decided to go ahead and have them do it anyway, already plenty frustrated. Was told it would take about 30 minutes, wandered around the store never heard a page decided to walk back and see if it was done. It was parked back against the wall, started to walk out into the shop and was very abruptly and rudely asked what I wanted, ask them if my truck was done or if it was sitting over there waiting to be worked on. Told me it was done. Now my wheels are Chrome and we're quite dirty so it was very obvious that none of the wheels were ever touched. Already extremely frustrated, I took my truck checked out and left. Notice that that same tire was still low, so I went and bought a air gauge. All four tires were at different pressures, including the front left one at 18 pounds PSI. So not only did they not rotate balance or anything they didn't even check the air pressure. Would never take another vehicle there again in my life, or recommend it to anybody else. read more

Horrible manager and horrible cashier! I used to love coming to this location for any home needs that the Pleasant Grove Walmart doesn't have since I live up the street of Lindon's Walmart. I used to work at two different Walmart's and it is known that the customer is FIRST and the customer should be happy to return to the store and I believed that till I tried buying a pair of Beats Studio headphones. I had returned a pair the same day I bought them because they were defective. Yes I returned them at a different store but now that I tried rebuying the same pair/same color at Lindon they wouldn't price match since "I didn't have the ad" Walmart's online store updated the SAME DAY! Which according to Lindon-isn't possible "must always update midnight". I went to American Fork where I had originally bought them and explained what happened at Lindon and the store manager,assistant manager,CSM, and cashier agreed with me! Lindon didn't want to lose $60 but now they lost a customer who easily spends well over $1000 a month on their products. Thanks to Alisha-assistant manager and Bryan-cashier at American Fork I was able to get things sorted out. Something Lindon should've done from the start! Even the store manager laughed at Lindon's action and didn't even need to hear another word of my explanation and granted the price match following with the assistant manager and CSM approving it as well. Awful. I've been here multiple times thinking "the first few times were just a fluke". Let me be frank, I don't like walmarts but I know that it's good for a few things. Twice in a row those few things I know every walmart has, when I have gone, they were out of them or the employees didn't know where or what I was asking for. The WORST shopping experience I have ever had. I had an electronic item burn out. I knew it might be hard to find, so I went online. According to Walmart's website the store had several versions of this item in stock at the Lindon store. I don't usually shop there, but it is close to my house so what the heck. I went through the entire electronics section and couldn't find the item, no sales associates were at the counter. I asked several workers in the general area and was told "I don't know. Ask someone in electronics." Not even an offer to page someone who knew. I finally found someone, he was polite and dealt pretty well with the angry woman he was dealing with, but he'd never heard of the item I was looking for and kept showing me the wrong thing. Granted it's not used much any more, but still. He finally said he would need to ask his manager. I was ok with that, but over 20 minutes later there was no sign of him or a manager. I couldn't even call their help desk to have them send someone because I couldn't get cel service in the store. Finally an assistant manager showed up in response to a page, I wasn't the only person needing service, and looked up the item I was trying to find. He figured out what it should be stocked next to, but didn't know where that would be. By that time I knew the neighboring item. We finally found one similar item, stuck behind something else on a disorganized display, however it was twice the price as the ones listed online. He finally looked up the item and found that all three versions the website said were in stock were not. I was not willing to pay that price after all the hassle. I was told the only way to voice my complaints was to fill out an online survey. I left only to find that the exit doors near my car were now locked. No notices or signs, just a locked door. Apparently they lock the main doors at night to "prevent theft." When I got home I got online to complete the survey with my complaints. Do do that you have to make a purchase! Seriously?
