My boss and I stopped by Walmart to get some stuff for the week while staying in Little Rock AR. This was just an ordinary Walmart just like any other Walmart I have been to. Nothing special or brand new about this particular Walmart. The staff were Ok and the layout of the store was good and accessible for what we needed. However, when we went to use the self checkout, I had trouble checking out with my card. The card machine would not take my debit card after trying a few times, so my boss had to pay for my stuff using his card. The staff were too busy socializing with one another and not paying attention to what was going on. My boss then paid for his stuff, but had trouble with the card machine as well. This Walmart needs to get their card machines fixed or updated because they clearly are not working properly. Other than that, I have nothing else to really say about this Walmart. I've started doing most of my grocery shopping at Walmart on Bowman Road. Over the last couple of years, they've expanded their organic and international food sections, so I can find anything I want there without having to go to Whole Foods or Fresh Market. I read where more and more folks are shopping there instead of specialty groceries and I understand why. Also, the customer service has always been above par for a big box store. Recently, I left something at the self-checkout, took my receipt in a week or so later and they replaced it with no questions asked. I'm really impressed with Walmart. read more

Due to convenience I do have. A lot of items delivered from this store. Unfortunately I frequently receive spoiled food or the wrong items. Today I ordered fresh chopped cabbage. One bag was fine and usable. The other contained a foul smelling spoiled cabbage. Made me nauseous when I pulled it out of the bag. Will not return as I don't keep garbage in my kitchen. Other times it has been out-dated meat, eggs or dairy. It is like they pawn off their rejects onto delivery customers. Every time I say it is my last but it does save me time. read more

Great grocery delivery service! Driver was fast and efficient. Walmart is doing something right.

I received a delivery order today from Walmart; it arrived with $61.00 worth (over half) of my grocery order not there. I contacted customer service and had to get a refund because the manager refused to re-send the missing items, so now I have to wait ten days for my money to be returned because of the store's mistake and the manager's refusal to make it right, and my allotted grocery budget is short $61.00 until they return the funds to my account. Worst customer service. I bought a lawn mower, vacuum and a microwave. All pretty heavy stuff and not a person anywhere to help and then to self check out. Its great when I dont have a lot but trying to get everything on the tiny little bag holder and lift the heavy items out to get smaller things. Wow and the lady wants to yell across the room I didn't scan the last item which I did but apparently under the wrong bar code??? I will never go back again. This happens every time I go to this particular store. read more

A lethargic staff that just stares at you while the only check-out lane that is open is being bogarted by a lady with a million items on the checkout counter, and wants to review the prices of each and every one of them. Nope, the self-checkout section is closed. Yes, every other checkout is closed. On top of this, there are a notable amount of Wal-Mart employees standing around -- at the one open register and in groups of two and three, throughout the store. At the same time, it does need to be noted that a few employees are working hard, lime the nice guy in the sports department who was a tremendous help. Nonetheless, here I remain, third in line to checkout...even after writing this epistle. read more

Everything seems to be broke on the front end. The "Scan & Go" has the green light on but the display says it is "closed". The is a line in lane 1 but the open sign is off. Then I was trying to purchase two clearance items and was told by the CSM that the items are full price and I am wrong. Neither the cashier or CSM bothered to call for a price check. Scott was waiting in sporting goods to do a price check. Needless to say I declined paying full price. I guess Taya the CSM thought I needed the exercise so I walked back to sporting goods and took a picture of the end cap display with the clearance price. I then exercised my way back to lane 1 to check out for the second time. I showed Chinayee the picture and she said she will have get an override. I finally got out of there at $3.50 plus tax. Glad I was not on my lunch break. As always Walmart is a necessary evil because they broke the competition. read more

On September 15, 2022 I placed an order for a Kid Kraft Modern Outdoor Swing Set. This purchase was to be a Christmas present for our children. It shipped in two boxes and arrived at our place on September 16, 2022. The boxes were placed into the garage, and we waited patiently for closer to Christmas to set up the swing set. On December 17, 2022 while my husband began to open the boxes and started the process of putting the swing set together, we noticed we received two boxes with the exact same parts. Two boxes of 1 of 2, we were missing box 2 of 2. We immediately got on the phone and called Walmart's Customer Service. We had the pleasure of speaking with Najae, she promptly informed us there was an available box 2 of 2 for this order and we could replace one of the duplicated boxes for the box 2 of 2 and it would arrive no later than Monday December 26, 2022. We would just need to return one of the boxes 1 of 2 and Walmart would ship the replacement order for box 2 of 2. Again, this was a Christmas present, and she guaranteed we would receive the parts and be able to build the swing set. We explained to her that if we wouldn't receive the box that we would send both boxes back and ask for a refund. On December 28, 2022, I received an email stating the return was received and Walmart would be refunding the money. For obvious reasons, we were upset that we did not receive box 2 of 2 as promised, and now the money was refunded to a card that is no longer active. After multiple phone calls and live chats to Customer Service from myself and my husband explaining the situation, no help has been received. We have a box with parts that we cannot use to build a swing set and after being told we needed to call our financial institution to receive the refund or that Walmart's billing department would be contacting us for additional information, with no communication at all, it magically appeared into our bank account on January 25, 2023. I have requested a refund for the remaining order, and I am willing to mail back the box 1 of 2 at their cost. I have not been able to get through to anyone that will process the refund. Very frustrating and unsatisfied. read more

I mostly love shopping at Walmart, but the last few months have made the experience less enjoyable. The reason why I say that is because Walmart, at least the one in my neighborhood, has become an obstacle course. I'm not sure its because COVID, but I see a lot more workers packing shelves during normal business hours. They block the isles and could care less about customers. Sometimes I have to leave the isle from the back, pass through another isle and then come in from the front of the isle that has my item. The workers sometimes congregate to talk with each other, blocking traffic and aggravating the situation. Some of these workers seem to run away from you when you ask them a question. Last year workers use to bend over backwards to help you NOT ANYMORE. These workers are rude and act like they are doing you a favor by stacking the shelves... read more

It's always crowded whenever we stop in this location. Always. No matter what time of day or the time of the week the crowd is always thick. That being said of course they need to have more people on the cash registers. The lines were very long. The parking lot was disgusting as expected. Walmart is notorious for the filthy trash littered parking lots. This Walmart looks to be one of the newer models and that's a plus. They had most of the items we needed today. read more

This store has absolutely no sugar free or no sugar added for their customers. Look at these overweight and diabetic folks in your store you morons. Then add those of us trying to control the sugar we take in while enjoying a dessert once in a while. Bring back the sugar free and no sugar added products especially during the holidays. It's honestly a rarity that I shop at Walmart stores. It's out of my way, but alas I did today. I started with the produce like many others. I'm not a produce connoisseur by any means, but when more than half of the section is molded, not stocked, or squishy it's pretty aggravating. I didn't even get most of what was on my list (onions, tomatoes, or bell peppers, etc) because of their conditions. I moved on and the tortillas I usually buy along with Sara Lee bread I like wasn't stocked either. It's not even like I buy boujee, fancy items and at other grocery stores it's always stocked. I moved on to Halo top ice cream. There were few flavors stocked and just to keep the trend going none of the flavors I prefer were there. I understand going to the grocery store and missing a couple of items because they are a hot commodity, but I got almost halfway through the store and had very few items compared to what I came to buy. This was very frustrating. Not to mention, most of the store employees were grouped together just talking. Not working, not stocking, just socializing. I understand that it was close to lunch time and many were probably close to their break, but they seemed very unavailable and unapproachable when they stood huddled together in the aisles. Before leaving, a male employee that was talking with a group of other employees started gauking at me until we both made eye contact. I don't expect perfect customer service everywhere I eat, shop, etc, but I would hope to have respect by the employees which is what lacked in this man. This just doesn't seem like how a thriving, functional business should be run and I will not consider shopping here in the future which is pathetic since the Walton's founded these stores in Arkansas and I typically would want to support that. read more

The customer service at the Walmart on Shackleford's photo center/electronics department is absolutely horrible. They have 4 computers to print up photos. 2 for instant print and 2 for one-hour photos. This evening I spent over an hour there and came home with no photos. Neither instant print photo printers were working, and both the one hour photo printers had issues. The staff were just standing around chit-chatting and never offered any assistance. When asked for help, they act "put out" and don't have any idea how to run the computers to get them to print photos, nor do they attempt to figure out how to fix the issues. When you continue to try to seek out help, the staff all disappear. They don't seem to be interested in helping or serving customers and don't seem remotely motivated to work at all. Don't waste your time trying to print photos at this store. Go elsewhere if you want decent customer service. read more

I usually don't do reviews on stores or anything else, but this time I feel like I have to. Went to Walmart to get a GPS, I paid for it but when I open the box there was a cell phone inside(no battery in the cellphone) so I shortly went back inside the Walmart and notified the manager in charge. He did nothing about it, I was told to wait until the morning. I was disappointed in people who were supposed to help me resolve this issue, the manager that was in charge that morning instead of hearing me out he started threatening[keep in mind that i already paid for a gps and I was planning for a trip], by only looking at me he chose not to hear anything I had to say and he didn't show any interest in showing respect to customer he is supposed to be serving. I highly recommend that people who get to choose managers and other people in customer care should carefully choose for those people with high skills in communication and moral and ethical values no like this man who had no intention of hearing me out.....let's just say that I lost whatever amount of money I paid and my trip was all disturbed but at least my friends customers of these kind of stores can be aware of managers like this one I just described read more

I love this Wal Mart, & the location. I will literally go out of my just to come to this specific store. Since this is a 24hr store, I came here around 3 a.m., looking for a specific item & after ten mins, I finally gave up the search. Just as I was about to walk out the store, I saw all of the Christmas decorations, & gifts so I kinda wondered over into that section & I guess I lost track of time, because there were s few night workers that were behind me whispering about me. One of the workers actually asked her coworker why I was there. They exchanged a few more words before flat out laughing & I knew they were talking about me. In that short moment, I felt like I was being bullied. I'm 23 & these women were older than me, old enough to be my mom. That was my experience with this store, I will definitely stick to doing my shopping in the day because night shift workers are incredibly rude & unprofessional. read more

I understand that sometimes the food sits a little longer on shelves and freezers but when you open and item and its covered in mold something is wrong! I talked to the manager because this was the third time we made it home and realized there was another item that was bad. The cashiers are HORRIBLE they slam the food into the bags making a mess of it all. I love listening to cashiers complain about their jobs and when they are going on their next break making the painful process even longer than needed! read more

I ordered 2 Kayaks Online the instructions online told me to make sure it was correct for it would only be processing for a matter of hours and at the most a few business days. well it has been at least 4 or 5 business days since i ordered and its still processing. I guess you get the same BAD service whether you walk in or order online. I don't expect to get them in time and honestly will pay the few extra dollars to get my future products from another place. Walmart is one of those places that you never WANT to go to but you always end up at some how. With that said, I don't even want to end up at this Walmart. It has terrible customer service. When I was 8 months pregnant, I was standing in line waiting to check out, after 10 minutes of me waiting there, the cashier turned off her light and said for me to go to another line because it was time for her to get off of work. This was at 5:00 where it was super busy and all of the lines were extremely long. I asked to speak to a manager and she replied, "oh, you think that will make me mad" She checked me out. but, it was one of the rudest experiences i have had. Besides that incident, I would say the store is a 3/5 as a whole. The produce section is probably the worse i have seen at any grocery store with lots of gnats and spoiled veggies and fruits, other than that, it is average like every other Walmart store.
