The lady who answered was super friendly and said the cake could be ready by 3 PM--same day! That's faster than my DoorDash orders! When my sister picked it up, she couldn't stop raving about how cute it was, and the best part? It tasted just as good as it looked. Quick service, friendly staff, and a delicious, adorable cake? I actually really like this Walmart! It's very clean and spacious! The bathrooms are always tidy and they are nicely updated. There are lots of products always on hand, and staff is helpful and friendly. I like coming here to grab what I need. Lots of self-checkout stations to go to when in a rush. Definitely recommend! A Wal-Mart like most others, with a decent pharmacy and grocery section though as JL points out, there is no Tire and Lube. It does have all the usual dry goods, clothing, jewelry, toys and electronics like others. Slightly different layout - I was looking for the shoes department which is against the back wall in "my" Wal-Mart but in this one is in the middle of the store near the dressing rooms. The associate (that's what Wal-Mart calls "employees") who brought me over to the shoe area (instead of pointing and letting me figure it out like some other stores) was friendly, as was the pharmacy associate and the checkout girl. Yep, the parking lot and getting back on to the road heading east is a disaster. Maybe some signs would be helpful? At night, it must be very confusing if you don't know where you're going. read more

Walmart supplies it's customers smaller, easier to use shopping baskets and they will not let their customers use them. They hide then off on a side of the store so that if you don't go looking for them you are stuck using the big ones. They even put a dollar amount on how much each shopping cart will hold so if you use the smaller ones then, to them, they are losing money. But the elderly, or ones the have had hip, knee or back surgery, these smaller carts are easier to maneuver but when I asked why they are not oit for the customers to use the answer I got was they our machine isn't made for them. I visited this location today to pick up some lunch from the deli section. I had to wait for a few minutes due to the associate needing to replace some of the food that was on the bar. She apologized for the wait and was VERY pleasant. I was able to place my order, as well as add another item and she still remained pleasant. Some people don't realize that a little kindness goes a long way. I very much appreciate great service, no matter where i go. When it came time to check out, I went to a self check out (Not because I was being anti-social). I was able to scan my items and pay without any issues. This doesn't happen often, so I was glad! Both my mom and I know so many people that work here and they are very nice people. This is a local store for me, as I am only about 1 mile from this store. As a retired law enforcement officer, I can say that I feel better about my family and friends shopping here than in some areas. Of course, always be careful, but the security cameras are installed where they should be, the local PD comes through a lot, and the lots are well lit. As far as shopping goes, I particularly love their clearance isles, where you can find great local deals. Overall, I think this is one of the best Walmart stores that I have been to. Where is the manager that is in charge of seeing that the shelves are stocked? More times than not when I shop here they are completely out of items I need. Ricotta cheese? This IS NOT a Super Walmart! There is no auto center and the supermarket side isn't as large. In fact, the Locust Walmart is one of the WORST in the Metrolina area, based on 3 counts: 1. no self checkout coupled with few lines actually open, and 1 open after 10 PM. It's nearly impossible to get in and out without a major time waste 2. low selection of items compared to any other Walmart, and pales in comparision to the Super Walmart in Kannapolis (also 'country') 3. the parking lot design is rediculous. It routes you all over the place compared to the standard run of the mill WM parking lot. I suppose this could be due to the idiotic traffic pattern (Thanks NC DOT!) that has you turning right from the only two exits. Although this store is CLOSE to my house, it pains me to shop here. It's much more convenient for me to go to the Super WM near my work, or to travel to Kannapolis and shop Sam's and Walmart together. The only thing that saves this store is the fact that it's the only game in town for a supermarket except Food Lion. read more

We quit going here for groceries. You could never count on them having what we needed week in/week out. Poorly managed, poorly run, horrible inventory/ordering management, somewhat uncaring when asked where certain product was or why it was out of stock. I've seen basic items run out for no apparent reason...even when asked they don't really have an answer. This tells me whomever is doing the ordering has no clue what they are doing. It's across the board too - veggies/meats/can goods/breads/etc.... We quit going here because we still ended up at Publix or Food Lion to fulfill our grocery list....might as well go to Publix & get it all w/o the additional time/gas spent because the local Walmart runs out of basic things or in most cases they'll carry an item for a few weeks then they won't, then they will again, then they won't - keep repeating. It's impossible to plan a grocery trip to this store because of that & combined with poor inventory control as a whole. Worthless grocery department. read more

This is a really nice Walmart. I live in Brandon, FL and compared to there Walmarts this is the tops. This has nice aesthetics outside, clean inside, and not crazy busy like the Walmarts in Florida. The lines move quick and they actually have enough open lanes to get you out faster. Be luckily you visit this walmart, I feel safe here. read more

Probably the cutest Walmart I've ever seen. The architecture of the building is very craftsman like and the employees keep the store clean and stocked inside. It's right next to Red Bridge golf course and seen from the fairways. If I lived closer I would come here more often. There is ample parking and I do not think it was as busy as most walmarts are on the weekends. read more

By far my favorite Walmart Store! Clean, Spacious, Fast Checkout, Bakery is excellent, Great Selection, Friendly Customer Service, Store Layout is Convenient, Just all around great store. I am in the middle between the Locust and Albemarle store and prefer this store by far. The only thing I don't like about the setup is of course the routing to get out of the parking lot and back on 24/27, but that was probably NCDOT's fault. read more

Sunday night june 14,2015 around 10:40pm, African American short hair mid age woman working as stacker at paper and cleaning dept. As me and my baby was coming out of the detergent/soap aile, she came by with a hand truck and a empty pallet and saw me coming out and look straight at me and my baby made a gesture with her head And roll her eyes and in a rudely tone told us "COME ON" like we took up the whole aile!! I recently bought a product called Pet Care for fleas. I can't tell you how disappointed in this product that I am. it did not work at all. I didn't keep my receipt , & plan on calling the manager for some kind of satisfaction. I will let everyone know that I can via Facebook, yahoo, word of mouth if I can't get results. I had to dose 3 dog's & the ad's made this product sound that it was just as good as Frontline.
