There are so many good things about this location, but it is laid out nothing like the two which I frequent in the neighboring town of Concord. Your girl here, couldn't find the cottage cheese. Two associates which I asked gave me two possible locations. I had checked both places already. I know that this huge supermarket must have had cottage cheese. Additionally, they had a lacking produce section. Some of the offerings looked a little picked over. To their credit, they had a lovely flower, plant and gift section with a friendly associate there to help. They also had a Harris Teeter Gas Station. Which is new to me. They also had a marquee displaying current gas prices. I liked that. If you need gas you know exactly how much it costs, and you can plan your trip there before you go home. To my happy surprise, all of the associates were pleasant, and check out was lightning fast. I don't live in this area, so this particular location would not be one of my regular shopping places, but if it were... That would be just fine.

My go to grocery store. Great produce selection and great meat options. I love that I can rack up on points and use them for fuel savings.

My first time at this grocery store. I'm ca Floridian. I'm a Publix & Whole Foods grocery store shopper. I thought I'd check this store out since I heard so much about it from locals. It's a beautiful & very large grocery store. I'll be shopping here. I'd definitely recommend this grocery store. I'm comparing it to Whole Foods price wise.

As with all Teeters in the Charlotte area, this one is tidy, clean and organized as well as being staffed with folks who understand service and friendliness. One such person noticed me wandering about looking for something and asked if I needed assistance. "Yes, please. Where's the pharmacy?" "Oh, we don't have one in this store." "That would explain why I couldn't find it." Otherwise, the rest of the store was clean, bright and well stocked. Prices are higher than you'll find at the nearby Wally World. There is not a SuperTarget in the vicinity either.

This store is so much bigger than my local Teeter, which is nice if I need some unusual items. It has a bigger selection that the smaller stores, but it's almost more vanilla than Trader Joe's. I guess you can't have it all. My biggest gripe with this store is with the produce. I've had too many bad experiences (apples rotten to the core, moldy peppers, etc) and I don't trust them anymore. Every item needs a long discriminating look.

Yes the line to checkout is down past the beer and wine aisle

It is conveniently located next to a Quick Trip, A new Lidle and on the same strip as Tacos 4 Life. This location is part of a newly development block of businesses that are bringing jobs, money and people to this part of Concord, and I am there for it. It's clean, well kept and the associates who work there couldn't be more helpful or friendly. They can give you information on whichever libation piques your interest. Just like all of the ABC Stores, it is very well kept up. They have special-buys via the manufacturer. It may include a tee shirt, or a small shot glass or other fun promotional items. They also have mini bottles for samples without the commitment of a huge bottle. Oh! They have terrific parking. The ABC Stores are so very different than liquor stores in the northeast, but this store is exactly like every single ABC Store in North Carolina, but as it happens, that's not a bad thing at all.

Dare I speculate that this model may serve as a blueprint for the cannabis industry in the future. I appreciate these Government run liquor establishments in North Carolina. They are efficient and the prices are set, and you feel safe. In some seedy NYC or Boston liquor stores you feel as if you could be in a hold up at any moment. The employees are friendly and helpful. The ABC Stores has promotional gift with purchases if the company offers them and limited edition specialty offerings. This particular location has a great gin aisle. It's twice as long as many other ABC Stores. Today I picked up a limited edition Gin from Scotland. My first visit to this particular store, but the parking was terrific. If you know what you want you can be in and out in three minutes flat!

Phew, this place was hard to find. I was tearing down WT Harris at a mind-bending 40 mph (yay,…read moretraffic) and didn't see it in time. Not my fault though, trees have gone up in front of the distinctive red-and-white ABC Store sign so it isn't visible until you have passed the turn-off. Sneaky. I doubled back through a strip mall and, with a few questionably legal detours, found my way back to the store. I was glad to see that it hasn't been renovated into one of those depressingly cheerful corporate boxes. I enjoy metal bars and neon signs in my liquor store windows. It feels much more authentic. So I saunter in, supercool. Nod to the clerk, "Ma'am" . But she calls me "sweety"; my supercool bubble is burst. If I'd been close enough she would have pinched my cheeks. I fumbled around the store for a few minutes, trying to remember what I had wanted. She managed to call me sweety another half dozen times, tearing down my manly ego with each motherly drawl. Finally, reduced to a mere shell of a man, I dragged my purchases across her counter and skedaddled. 4 stars for the human encounter. No demonizing preacher here, like at other ABC stores, hatefully judging my purchases. This woman obviously enjoyed a touch of the giggle water from time to time. I appreciate that.
