I get people have bad days but usually I always have a good experience. I find and get what I need, well stocked, good amount of employees. Has a problem with people stealing from the store but that's not walmarts fault. Usually employees try their best to help me if I have the an issue. Overall a good store. Had an issue with a clearance item that rang up wrong and instead of apology I get attitude from a so called manager (Kate) who sat the whole time, sipping her soda like a cocky teenager. Walmart is a good place to change oil. I needed a full-synthetic oil change and the price of about $50 all-in was hard to beat, especially for a place where you don't need an appointment. I drove up at 4:50pm (they accept cars up until 5pm) and they got me in and out relatively quickly. Even told me I needed some coolant, which I ended up buying and filling up. The price was right for the oil change and I was able to get some groceries as well, which was nice! read more

Not a place you find me in very often. Scooters are never available nor is there enough of them. Store trashed almost always!! Not enough self service check outs! They don't hire enough personnel. Updated 2/2/2021: Absolutely horrible customer service. I stopped here today to use the grocery pickup service. I called the number, gave them my name, and said I was there to pick up my groceries. "Ok, we'll be right out." Over an hour later, followed up with 6 phone calls, my groceries were brought out to my car. This is certainly a convenient service for those who have impaired mobility. But there needs to be HUGE improvements for this program. The gentleman who delivered my groceries was very pleasant. He apologized numerous times, saying that he was all by himself. When this program is constantly promoted in commercials, emails, and other advertisements, there shouldn't be this many issues. Hire more people, become more efficient, and refine policies. It will take A LOT for me to ever use this service again. I will much rather do the shopping myself and save time in the future. read more

We went here a few weeks ago in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Michigan. We use MintMobile [tMobile] right now and on previous visits to MI we had spotty service and NO service at all just miles from Grand Rapids. In the UP, we had NO service at all! We had researched online what providers are best in MI and it turned out to be ATT, BUT I've had ATT while on the West Coast and found out it was at times spotty while travelling from there to here during foto road trips. So instead of getting an ATT sim we instead purchased a pay-as-you-go h2o [ATT] sim for $10 activitation then another $10 for the low data plan. It did work well on my unlocked Galaxy a50 and had service while driving thru Canada and even in MI, though the service became spotty as the day ended. One thing we did NOT know about this h2o company was that, aside from using the ATT network, it and ATT will LOCK your phone to their services! If I had known this from the start, I would have NEVER even looked at their cards and plans!! It's been two weeks since we were in MI and STiLL I have have problems with my phone, plus though I am using my original Mint sim in my phone now, I barely have all of my phone, msging etc back functioning, PLUS I cannot get my a50 to use Mint data functioning again. We have contacted Mint Tech and after a long day on the phone with Mint, they insist it is the h2o sim that locked me out and tho they tried and used many different methods, they cannot unlock my phone! My Mint sim card works great on older still operative phones but NOT on my current primary phone, so it shows the Mint sim is not the problem! Do not buy, use or even LOOK at h2o OR ATT unless you really are intent on using ATT or h2o permanently. We have called and otherwise contacted h2o and it's been over a week since our first contacting them, and not even a courtesy WE HAVE YOUR UNLOCKING REQUEST AND YOU WON'T HEAR FROM US ANYTIME SOON email! Do not support stupid phone providers that LOCK your phone even if it's an UNlocked phone, solely because they want to prohibit your using anyone else for your phone services! read more

Slow, slow workers who don't care at all. Glad for the self check outs since I check out faster by myself. I've never had a helpful answer to any question I posed to anyone working there. The parking lot has carts everywhere and is a hazard trying to drive through safely. Shelves are messy. Generally the store is unclean. The customer services employees on the floor were rude and not helpful asked for some items that listed online as in store but store worker said no when not on shelf, 3 items were like this, next the register lines at 5pn were very long with people having full carts stood in one for 15 minutes and didn't move, so I moved to easy scan and the register didn't work barely scanned properly and then the worker gave me an issue and was rude cause the machine messed up. Barely shop here anymore due to the rude behaviors . Complaining to customer care didn't help they say underpaid and overworked line next time I'll shop elsewhere read more

This Walmart is very similar to the Tonowanda location. Unlike the Tonowanda location, this Walmart has a gas station. There is a huge area for grocery and other item pickups, located on the side of the store. I never had a issue with finding any item I maybe in need of. Checkout is fluent and not overly crowed, but that can be becuase I shop so early. read more

This Walmart is located in the large shopping area triangle of Niagara Falls Blvd, Military road and Fashion Outlets Blvd. This shopping area is huge. The Fashion Outlets as well as the Walmart Supercenter are all part of this complex. This particular store is technically the closest Walmart to Toronto on the American side. This matters why? Well if you're Canadian and you want to get some American goods that we just don't have back in Canada then this is the place. By goods I mean food and by food I mean snacks generally speaking. The brands we just don't have? Keebler, Little Debbie to a degree, a wider variety of Hostess cakes, Sunshine crackers, chip varieties you'll never see back home even things like Cherry Coke and so on and so on. If you've been in the US for more than 48 hours and you're heading home this could be a possible destination to get some things we just don't have before heading back. Groceries the Canadian border agents don't typically bother with but technically under 24 hours you are not allowed any personal exemption whatsoever. Definitely do not buy alcohol unless you plan to declare and pay duty for under 48 hours. More than 48 hours is a different story. You can buy a case of beer but the cases here can be a bit deceiving. Back in the day most beer was just sold in 24 packs and nowadays it's more common to see cases of cans in quantities of 30. So the Canadian exemption for beer is technically 8.5 liters and 30 x 12 fluid ounce cans is technically over that by over 2 liters. I'm not sure how border agents would treat that but I've never had issue with buying 30 packs before. 24 x bottles which are about 330ml each is under 8L (say Heineken which measure 33cL / 330mL). Being a Supercenter the grocery store is full blown with the grocery section being at the north end of the store and the garden center being the opposite end. Everything else in between being electronics at the back toys in the middle with housewares and clothing and sporting goods near the garden center side. It's a big store with plenty of parking, not far from the main highway and easily accessible for Canadians. read more

Honestly, I try to avoid Walmart whenever possible. It can be very overwhelming for me and it feels chaotic. However, when searching for certain things that can only be found at Walmart (or ordered online) I've been pleasantly surprised with my experience. I'm able to navigate the store with ease. The shelves are well stocked and there appears to be enough staff. I have to admit the the prices are great and I have found some top quality items. For Walmarts, this one is pretty good. It's clean, the staff are friendly, they are well stocked, and I never seem to have to wait that long to check out. The self serve registers are my favorite. The employee there told me they stop selling beer after 2am. The one think I don't like is how the block off the main entrance after 11:00pm with a gate, that's a bit too much. You have to go around and into the room registers, which is a hassle. The baked good are clearance priced on a rack at the far back in dairy. read more

My wife and I went to Walmart for a few things tonight. One of those things was something that was locked up in a glass case. They have a button you press to call an associate to come and unlock it. Stood there for 45 minutes and pressed the button over a dozen times. Saw 4 different Walmart employees and asked if they could call someone to come unlock the case only to continue to stand there waiting. Called the store and spoke with the electronics department and asked them if they could call someone which they went of the intercom and said customer need assistance in sporting goods. And yup you guessed it no one came over. This place is so fucked up and so many lazy pieces of shit that work here it's not even funny. How hard is it to come unlock a case so a customer can spend money in your store. You lazy mother fuckers won't get a single cent or my business anymore. Went to target that is right around the corner from this Walmart and not a single thing is locked up except in the electronics department which there is an associate that is always in electronics at target to help unlike shitty ass liberal ass Walmart. Not the first time this has happened at this Walmart either. The customer service here is absolutely horrendous and Walmart corporate needs to retrain their employees bad. read more

He said he had, and they "must be busy," and offered to try again. I explained that I was stranded and needed to speak to someone ASAP about tires. This apparently did not faze him, and he again offered to transfer the call. I told him that it worked great the other 3 times he transferred me, so by all means, transfer me. I have reached out to online customer chat who told me that regardless of what the website states, "We will price match one item per customer per day (limit does not apply to orders to New Mexico, unless the purchase is for resale)", that because on the hidden corporate page, at the bottom of the policy, underneath the part of "We Do Not Match", "The manager on duty has the final decision on any Price match," so I have been unable to purchase the product for the price falsely advertised by Walmart. This is a classic bait and switch SCAM, yet also on their corporate website they claim, "Service to the Customer - Our customers are the reason we're in business. We strive to meet and exceed their expectations by providing safer, more affordable, more accessible, healthier and more sustainable goods and services." They have neither met my expectations, which are minimal, nor exceeded them. All in the name of $10.95. That $10.95 must mean an awful lot to this corporation. As an avid Walmart shopper, I will now be going to Target. I have to say, I was surprisingly pleased at my experience here last night. I should clarify that I shopped around 8pm on a weeknight and it was not very busy at all in there. Usually you have to wait an ungodly amount of time in line at most Walmarts, but this time, there were multiple lanes open with little to no wait. Yippee! The store itself was well-stocked and kept very clean and organized. The employee at the fitting room was super friendly, made funny conversation with me, and was super helpful. I go here several times a week, since it is not far from where I reside. I grocery shop here and I often find the prices cheaper than other stores. Of course there are multitude of items in this large department store...all I can say is a Walmart is a Walmart. Another thing I like about this Walmart is that one of my banks is inside. I'm kind of surprised by all of the negative comments towards this location. Being the closest Walmart to me, I do come here pretty often. I would avoid coming here on a weekend unless it's necessary. It gets pretty busy, and lines are endlessly long, and shelves may not be as stocked as they usually are. Service is generally friendly, although there are those usual 1 or 2 employees who just hate their job and love to display that hate. They have a Subway, a bank, and a hair salon here too. I've been to a lot of Walmart stores but for some reason this store specifically is my favorite, and far superior to the others. read more

What can I say about this place it's nice and clean, wish the place was a little bigger to move around because you are constantly being bumped. I like there prices, the employees are alright some have attitude problems but that is usual now a days. You can get your eyes checked and a hair cut while you are waiting on someone with there usual long lines If your hungary Subway is right there also to make sure you eat nice and healthy. HUGE; however, just average Walmart Supercenter on Military Rd in Niagara Falls. Sure it's new and big and nice. So, since I haven't ever been here prior to vacationing in Niagara Falls, I cannot comment on previous experiences in either this store or the former store on another road nearby. However, in BOTH of my experiences here while in the area the checkout lines here were atrocious. Not only the staffed checkout lines, but the self checkout area also had a gigantic line. What I don't think is ok is having three checkout registers open on any given time that's even marginally busy. Management needs to seriously fix that. This store is so large that it's impossible to find an associate a lot of the time. Not sure if they are hiding out around the store, or if they are on break, or if they simply do not employ staff on the floor here, but it's sort of ridiculous. The one woman I did find stocking the shelves couldn't speak at all. Can't even comprehend my precise feelings on that. Surprisingly the shelves are normally fully stocked and the organization is actually decent. They have a lot more stock than my local, smaller Walmart in Massachusetts due to the gigantic footprint they have in Niagara Falls; however that isn't a bad thing all the time. It was for me since I came in here looking for five things and wanted to be quick in and out. It ended up taking 40 minutes due to the odd layout and horrible checkout area. It's ok, but for such a new store much improvement is needed. I won't miss this store once I go home to Massachusetts, and if ever vacationing up here again, will make sure I either go somewhere else if I have a limited time span or make sure I have lots of time to stop, because I do not expect much improvement as it seems this place is just a little too far deep in. 3 stars. read more

I expected fast service since they have been doing this for a year at least, and a few months in since COVID has started. Here I am waiting for this pick up, already an hour and counting. It's as bad as you would expect a niagara falls walmart to be- and then some. My biggest gripe with this place is that it's such a time suck because they bait and switch you with price tags. I tried to buy a pillow and in the aisle tag said ~10$ with more of the same pillow behind it. At cashout it was $14?! The guy helping me was technically adequate but you could tell he was effortfully holding it together to not be a d1ck. He was deflecting as though my complaints were unwarranted, or as if I was accusing HIM personally of fuck1ng up the pillow section. As I was looking at all the pillow tags it became clear they were totally unorganized - like a betterhome (BH ##) next to the price/barcode with what is clearly not BetterHomes and garden brand pillow(s) stacked and organized above it. I had -four- other items on my order that were mischarged. Might even contact Better Business Bureau about them because I also noticed other items in the store mis-stocked under tags. Take photos people! The floor employees seemed nice though. One cool chick helped me find a bingo dabber and another helped me locate scotch guard. When I went to customer service about the pillow they ended up giving me the wrong change too. read more
