I am a Walmart driver that delivers people's groceries to their homes. The grocery pickup lady today on Sunday, Dec 18th was beyond rude... she was downright hateful.. This is how our phone conversation went after I had checked in on the app for my spark delivery groceries and had been sitting outside waiting for over 40 minutes. Me: hey im just calling to make sure I'm checked in for my grocery order Her: well how am I supposed to check you in if you don't give me a name? Me: um ok my name is _____ Her: no no no stop I need the customers name that you picking up for Me: ok the name is _____ Her: well that order ain't ready so u just gonna have to wait ***false the order was indeed ready*** Me: yes the order is ready I am a walmart driver and I can see that the order is ready. So can u just make sure I'm checked in on your system Her: well maybe if you would've checked in on the app you coulda already had your order Me: I did check in on the app , 40 min ago.. im calling you now to make sure it went through and that im checked in on ur side Her: I don't have time for this **hangs up on me** I was shocked. And just in case you wanted to know, the order never came after over an hour. So I canceled it. Five minutes before checking out I received a phone call that a dear family member had passed away suddenly. In a daze I completed my transaction in the self check out. My purchase was only two bags so I left my empty cart at the register. As I was exiting the store. A door greeter began to follow me out the doors yelling "MAAM..."MAAM" I finally turned around somewhat surprised at her tone. She then asked me if "Is it was too much to push your basket where it belongs"? I looked at her, then continued to exit the building. Absolutely the WORST customer service experience ever. Went to pick up an online order- emailed at 9:30 am, arrived 1:01 pm. Checked in, waited, and waited, and waited...after 15 minutes in the 100 degree heat, and watching multiple orders delivered to cars that arrived AFTER I did, I went to the door and asked where my order was and complained that I had been waiting 15 minutes and others had come and gone since I arrived. He pointed to my order- "It's right there, there was a problem with the sunscreen and someone ran to get it." 15 minutes to RUN a couple of hundred feet? Another 10 minutes passed, and I grab the man delivering yet another order to someone else and asked where the hell my order was. He walked away and said "You can't curse at me". Then I went back to the door and screamed that I wanted my order RIGHT NOW and that I had been waiting for 25 minutes. A woman said she had it and came to the door. I demanded to know why they were ignoring my paid order. The men inside started closing ranks toward the door to threaten me, and she said, "Don't worry about him. We get people like him all the time." (They get people like me all the time because their service is so horrible.) I reached for my packages THEN she felt she had to sit there and further delay by scanning labels on the bags. I did not go in to purchase some bottled water as I planned to do- I went and bought it at a retailer that appreciates my business. When I called after I calmed down to complain to the manager, I was put on hold for 30 minutes, resulting in a second call when I eventually got someone claiming to be a manager. The operator told me there must not be a manager in the store as an excuse for her phone discourtesy. (explains a lot- no managers, no service). This woman was apologetic, but when I asked to be informed what happened out of the incident, I was told I needed to contact Walmart corporate to get a call back. Was promised a followup from manager in 3 days. We'll see. Incredible waste of time. Over an hour spent cooling my heels while they attempted to make me go away discouraged, all for a 24 dollar order! NEVER AGAIN, and I mean not ANY Walmart. Never have I been treated so horribly. Most disgusting Walmart I have ever been to and that is saying a lot because I have been to a ton of Walmarts in almost every state in the US. You already know it is going to be a bad experience when you drive through the parking lot and see nothing but trash, beer bottles and shopping carts strewn all over. And then there are the bathrooms. They obviously do not get cleaned very often if ever, because there was toilet paper all over the floors but not in the stalls and someone was too lazy to refill the paper towel holders so they just set a roll on top. There was little to no fruit and the fruit that they did have was old and decaying. I understand that the people re-stocking the shelves have a lot of work to do, but why can't you make space for a cart or even a person down the aisles? Walmart is open 24 hours a day. Remember that. The fact that a police officer kept driving through the parking lot should have been warning enough. I will never be back. This is the place where common courtesy, decency and cleanliness goes to die. read more

Did a Walmart pick up and it was delayed. Totally understood and was due to being short staffed. Was told I had 24 hours to pick up order and so I went to it tonight at the same time after working and on my way they canceled my order. Don't answer phones and their response is it's not my fault. What happens to employees taking responsibility for the actions that happen in efforts to make the customer happy. Definitely not at this location. I don't even know where to start. So last night (26th of May), I purchased a 1.1 liter mini deep fryer because the one I had broke and we were in the middle of cooking dinner. After I got home, and opened the package I noticed that the fryer was completely covered in some sort of substance, it seemed like oil but I cannot be too certain. After looking into the packaging, I noticed that the power plug was missing along with the instruction manual. One other thing that I had noticed on the box was a pretty decent size yellow sticker on it that said DEFECTIVE! and it was still placed on the shelve maybe by mistake but who knows. Once I got to the store, the manager I spoke too did not even come to give his apologize to the situation. If I were to have tried to use the device with a foreign substance that I did not put in there and my family got sick, what then? Now at this time, I am stuck with some thing on my hands that I am having to put hydrocortisone on because it is itching and burning. Wish something beside me getting $21.45 back for the device and me driving back and forth because of their mistake, which I turned around and bought the exact same device, but made sure I looked at the packaging before walking away. read more

Test store. Hours are 6 am to midnight. They are testing these hours to clean and stock the store. This should keep the aisles clear of boxes, pallets and trash. If you have ever shopped at any walmart between midnight and 7 am, you have seen how crowded the grocery aisles can be. I don't work nights so this is not a problem for me. I recently went to the North Little Rock location of Walmart, and I have to say that it was the worst Walmart experience of my life. I generally try to stay away from Walmart because it has gotten so bad, but this particular location took the cake for negative experiences in a department store. I visited several departments while shopping and found the store to be in complete disarray. Many of the shelves and racks were empty or littered with various products from around the store. It looked like the place had been looted or something. We even found a 30-pack of Budweiser on the floor of the little girls' department!! The make-up section was utterly trashed. The shoes and clothing departments had merchandise all over the floor--so much that you could not push a shopping cart through it. The parking lot was also covered with trash and had shopping carts all over it. This is a relatively new Walmart Superstore, and I expected better. I am thankful that this is not my hometown Walmart, and I hope that I never have to set foot in this store again. Come one, Walmart execs, take some pride in your work and think about how Sam Walton would have wanted his company run. Until you decide to do something about this, I will pay a little bit more money and shop at Kroger. read more

When parking, we noticed security which the town seems to have a lot of. We went inside to see a greeter but was not greeted even though she made eye contact. While in health and beauty department, the employee stocking decided it would be ok to throw a plastic tote on the floor that made quite the noise! Grabbed the one item I needed and headed to checkout. Not a single lane open on the GM side. Grocery side had at least 5 customers per lane and about 10 in the quick lanes. Saw 5 managers pacing the front end but never offered to help anyone. Took me over 20 minutes in the store when it should've taken 5! Walmart needs to get it together. Disclaimer: I'm from California where ALL the WalMarts are dumps. So, that being said, I liked this location. It's huge, it's relatively clean, and the cashier was nice. They didn't have a small clutch purse for going to an event, which I needed, and their men's shoes barely have any grips on the bottom. Those sneakers were around $17 while you can get high-quality shoes for about $25 at Payless. That being said, if you're coming here for low-quality, value merchandise, they have almost everything you need. And my mom was able to get the small, clear nose pad replaced on her glasses (which she didn't originally purchase at Walmart). read more

I shop here at least 3 times a week, I like their selection and the store is always clean and orderly. The staff that works here is not the friendliest which is why I am rating them so low. The customer service center is like a lions den with the ladies that work in that station, I've experience rude and aggressive service, which is a complete turn off. In years past I have avoided this Walmart like the plague, but it recently came under new management. I met the new manager and he said he is in the process of making improvements and I can tell that things are getting better. It seems much cleaner than in the past and the cashiers have been very friendly. This is directed at the Vision Center located at this WalMart store. I went there and spend 45 minutes getting an eye exam. Took the prescription to another location to have glasses made, and could not see more than 10 feet. After confirming the glasses were made to the prescription, they agreed to retest my eyes. After retesting, they claimed my eyes must have been having spasms the first time. Took the new prescription and had the glasses remade. This time, I could see about 20 feet. I was totally fed up, and took the glasses, prescription(s) and my old glasses to Park Plaza to the doctor I used to see at McCain Mall before they closed. He looked at the scripts, the new glasses, and the old glasses, and said they were not even close. $110 later, I had a new prescription which was correct, and found out I had the start of cataracts in my left eye (which was never mentioned by the Wal Mart doctor). Of course, you can only have glasses remade once, so I ended up having to order new glasses mail order, as I couldnt afford to spend another $300 locally. After two weeks, I finally have glasses I can see with (thanks 39dollarglasses.com). So, between the $65 fee at WalMart, and the unusable pair of $300 glasses, and the new prescription...my $55 savings by going to walmart cost me $365 down the tubles. Avoid them at all costs. Pay the extra $55 and go to a REAL eye doctor...and if you wear bifocals, dont believe the $99 in an hour or less hype...They cant even make bifocals with anti-reflective coating there.... read more

DO NOT GO TO GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE! Went to get the oil changed in our 2001 Yukon. We normally change the oil ourselves. Me and my husband have been changing the oil in our Yukon for years. We were short on time and decided to go to the Lube department to get our oil changed. Pulled up, went inside. The front desk associate told us to pull into another lane. We had our two year old son with us at the time all this mess went down. Then they told us they did not have the oil and filter. No problem. We went right around the corner and bought the appropriate items. We know the oil that goes in our truck- the associate was going to put a totally different oil in it. Then they said they needed 6 quarts. My husband once again went out of his way and went and bought and extra quart.Then they said ok, and pulled our truck back around. We went shopping to pass the time. I gave them my number previously. After 45 minutes we went to check on the progress. They pulled our vehicle out of the shop. We went to pay for the services and the front desk associate informed us that they couldn't work on it. We had the mechanic that worked on it come out and explain why they couldn't. He told us the oil plug was stripped. My husband (knowing that it wasn't) asked him, "how it was stripped!?" The mechanic asked who fixed it last. My husband told him it was himself. The mechanic said he didn't know what happened but it was already stripped when he got under it. On their disclaimer they are not reliable for anything they damage or steal out of your vehicle. Got home and saw where the fresh metal marks were where the mechanic at Walmart stripped it. It was so stripped and warped that it took my father 30 minutes to get it off of the vehicle (seriously wish I took a picture). We had to make another trip to Bumper to Bumper to get the part. It was only $5. Which obviously wasn't an issue for us. We just were extremely upset that the mechanic lied and that there was complete lack of professionalism. read more

so here it goes. i went to wal-mart(now to me fuck-mart) and got a oil change. got it done in north little rock. after it was done i drove home to conway and when i parked my car i noticed my car was running at over 2000 rpms in idle. i got really worried. called fuck-mart and told them about it and said that they couldn't do anything about it, that them doing a oil change couldn't cause my car to mess up like that. so i was stuck at home with my car not working and i was worried. got some help from some friends and work on it for awhile. i noticed a port on my engine that had no tube attached to it. i pluged it up and my rpms went down. what they did was when they replaced my air filter they knocked off that tube witch caused a air leak in my engine. they knocked off the tube and the tech re attached it to a random spot. i was doing 70 on the freeway my engine could of locked up and i couldn't of got hurt and fuck-mart said that a oil change wouldn't cause that. fuck-mart pissed off the wrong customer. i could of be hurt and my car could of been damaged. i will not stop untill everyone knows about this and they pay for what they did and what they could of done! more info later. i am going to spread this story every way i know how. read more
