This location of Walmart was actually quite clean and organised when I visited twice in February 2023. I didn't even know this North Olmsted location existed until my friend told me recently. LOCATION -- This Walmart is located right across from the shopping centre called "North Olmsted Towne Center" which has Target, David's Bridal, Party City, and other shops. I hardly visit Walmart because in the past, at other locations, it is always hectic there with long lines and customers complaining. My experience at this location though was smooth and calm. Maybe I came early in the day when less people were here (I can't remember) but I had a no-hassle experience. They had self checkout and the line was short we were there like at 9:30 pm -10 pm - I found some nice hoodies. Lobster bisque and other soups was like $2 we even went to another Walmart after and the soup was more expensive for the same product though! My friend stocked up on soda - everything $5-$7 for a 12-18 pack of everything he wanted. We had so much fun shopping and we got everything we wanted - I bought some lip colors and lip gloss too. I'm so happy my friend loves soup and soda he saved a lot of money shopping at Walmart too! Great place. Their pick up is disorganized, and they advertise items the stores dont carry and expect " miracles " from employees because they engage in credit card fraud and deceptive advertising. They're pretty wily with the way they do business. I'll probably start calling them Wilymart. This is a big and clunky and way too busy Walmart located in the southwest suburbs of Cleveland and I've visited on a number of occasions. It's right next to the Great Northern Mall and close to some pretty damn good food options. It's a standard Walmart but the reason I give it a lower rating is the nightmare overcrowded parking lot, as I said it is a complete nightmare and a jungle and slow and dangerous too. This Walmart is pretty decent but they only had one bottle left of the tanning lotion that I was looking for. I was very glad that they did because it was the second Walmart I had to come to looking for this (thanks for nothing, Erie). In town for my wedding, one of my groomsmen go here to get some alcohol. When trying to leave he gets accused of stealing the shoes he walked in with. After showing proof of him wearing them in a picture weeks before they claim it's not evidence but yet won't show any proof of him stealing. Called the PD on him as well. The one thing I suggest they do better would be to get the customer in and out faster. Having more cashiers is the answer. But the other thing would be the self checkout. This is a run of the mill Wal Mart store. Nothing fancy, but the nicest one in the greater Cleveland area and safer as well. This is a great location as it is near the northern mall area, and with multiple other shops and restaurants. So I always choose this location as it is in a great and safe area. Bad issues are it is always busy as I assume many others have figured out it is the best option around Cleveland. But this is an issue with every Wal Mart in the country. My wife had just finished scanning and paying for all her items at the self checkout. On her way out, one of the employees stopped and implied that multiple items had not been scanned. She showed the receipt to the employee who still insisted several items were not accounted for.He apparently didn't even know what he was looking at.In the the products were accounted for.The employee never apologized, and in the end Walmart lost a customer. This is from a visit on 4/23 to customer care. Came here to return a birdfeeder that Walmart online gave me a barcode for. Woman at the return desk manager said that we weren't allowed to return it. Had the barcode in hand. Meanwhile, customer agents behind the work desk were complaining loudly and talking about how they were ready to fight customers at grocery pick up with a "brawl" Someone was giving her a funny look. Went online to then return the item because you apparently are not able to return items that arrived damaged. Walmart online refunded me immediately. I needed to buy a gift for a resident at a group home. Went to this Walmart and waited for help for 20 minutes, every time an associate went by I would ask for help. They assured me that someone would be there soon, but it took another 20 minutes. When she arrived to help me she had a hateful look on her face and an attitude to go with it. Anyone looking to do Walmart grocery delivery. Don't do it!!! I've been doing it for a couple months and every single time I place an order there's an issue. Missing items, items not available, items rotted. Today, I was told they were out of zucchini, squash, onions and ground lamb. I was charged for parchment paper that I did not receive and the raspberries that were delivered were covered in mold! I'm paying a monthly fee and I'm tipping a driver just to have my order messed up every time! Last week I was literally chatting with my shopper about a replacement item. I purchased a large amount of items and one bag was forgotten on the carousel, after several attempts to call the store during the day I returned about 5 hours later to get my bag of items. I was told forgotten items that have already been pay for are put back on the shelf to resell..it wasn't even a full day and they put them back with giving me a chance to come back for them..after arguing for the items I paid for security finally watched the tape and saw that I did forget them and they were put back. This store is always out of so many products that I always have to go to another store to complete my grocery shopping, I would like to be able to just shop at one store and not have to constantly go elsewhere. It is just so frustrating. I would shop at Giant Eagle if I could afford to. I do shop every week at Walmart to save money. Now they are locking up the razors and shaving cream which I find totally ridiculous. What will be locked up next toothpaste and toothbrushes along with hair care items. And when items are locked up then have to find someone to unlock the cabinet which is not always easy. Worst experience. Ordered a cake 1 week in advance for pickup Oct 19 at 3pm. Full sheet with a special pic on it. When I went to pick it up they hadn't even started decorating it. I was told I wasn't the only one whose cake wasn't ready and I should go shop as they needed at least an hour. I had 60 people at a party center waiting for me to bring the cake. The girl doing the decorating had a rotten attitude which I told her. I was then told by a young guy not to disrespect his co-worker. Really, who was being disrespected? My standards for Walmart are already pretty low and I avoid shopping there whenever possible because of the way they do business (see documentary Walmart: the High Cost of Low Price), but occasionally when other stores are closed and I really need something, I'll cave and get a few things there. Anyway, we're shopping and a guy comes by an aisle with a push broom the width of the entire aisle. We move aside and when he's done we enter the aisle to shop. He then comes by again, pushing the broom into my boyfriend's foot and telling me, "excuse me!" I move aside, but he just looks at me. I quickly realize he expects me to move my cart out of the way so he can sweep the aisle again (this is the same aisle he just came though). I scoot my cart out of the way and he huffily sweeps past me as if my presence in the store is inconveniencing his sweeping. Okay. Not that surprising from a Walmart employee as I imagine they aren't treated very well and therefore aren't happy working there, but that's not an excuse to be rude to a customer. We go to check out and we tell the lady we have a return. She seems annoyed and says she can't do it because there's no supervisor on the floor. Well, the whole reason we came to this store was to return this item and we don't live in the area. We tell her we're happy to wait and she begrudgingly pages a manager. We wait and the manager arrives, doesn't acknowledge us at all and keeps talking to another employee as if we're not there. We had set the receipt and return item down and he says, "do you have a receipt?" We say yes, here it is. "And what are you returning?" Uh, the item in front of you. My boyfriend asks this manager (I know his name but I don't believe in calling people out on Yelp unless they're incredibly disrespectful) how his night is going and he seems caught off guard. He says he's fine and then continues to talk to his colleague. He must have sensed a slow in the transaction because he then says to my boyfriend, "the machine is waiting for your signature." My boyfriend signs and the manager thrusts a return receipt at us and starts to walk away. My boyfriend says, "have a good night!" and he seems caught off guard again. Like he's shocked that someone is asking how he is and telling him to have a good night, when those are things he as a manager should be saying to us. Just a really unpleasant experience. Get it together, North Olmsted Walmart. And to any employees who are so unhappy that there treating customers like dirt, maybe look for a job that at least doesn't turn you into a miserable jerk. read more

From 1-10 I will chose 1. This is the worst Walmart service in which I have ever been. They are racist and they do not serve everyone at the same way. Several times I have used their money transfer service which is awful. They refused to serve me today just because they noticed my accent and they were trying to convince me that I was not able to send money through their service. The guy who served me was rude and racist, and when I called a manager to solve the situation, she wanted to protect what her employer said before and she kept on saying the same thing which didn't make any legal sense. She though, just because I am a foreigner I don't know my rights and she lied about to many services that another employer of her explained me just one day before. She told me you can't send money as you reached 12 people, while one day before I checked with her other employer that said I have send 9 times. Then she said, well now I'm saying that you can just send to 3 different people. However, when I asked her why are you refusing to serve me, she invited me to leave the store. I have never been more offended in my life. I have traveled all around the world and I have never been treated like that in my life. I am a science doctor and I have always been respected, but even if I was somebody who comes from the street, no one has the right to treat you like that. I hope they can find the same service when they go somewhere else, so they will maybe understand how does one feel when treated like that. This is a shame. I'm not a huge fan of Walmart, but I go there for the prices. Generally, I try to go VERY early in the morning to avoid the "Walmart" people. I can't complain about the prices of certain things, Walmart offers some products and a distinctively drastic lower price than competitors. Items I shop for at Walmart are: Acid Reflux meds. Vitamins. Some OTC meds. Cleaning supplies / Vacuum cleaner bags. Tortilla Chips (They carry the brand I like). School supplies / Office supplies. Their food / produce selections I think are typically same priced / higher priced than other stores so you won't usually find me in that section of Walmart. Read a previous review regarding poor service at Walmart No. Olmsted. I have been dealing with them since I moved here and also with their Chardon store before. Since I use as many non-GMO and organic products as I can find I do have to shop around. I would like them to carry Earthbound Farms organics which I like and is starting to make a name for themselves in other stores but I Appreciate that they are trying to provide any of these products. As far as their employees are concerned I have always been treated well and when i ask them where to find something they not only tell me where it is but lead me to it. And if the product is not on the shelf they will go into the warehouse to find it or determine if it will be restocked in future.
