Dillard's has a multi-level (3 levels) department store at the Great Northern Mall. The store has it all - women's and men's attire, beauty, housewares, and more. I usually visit Dillard's once a year for holiday dresses first checking the inventory online. This time I had an unplanned Dillard's visit while used it as a shortcut to the mall. MERCHANDISE: The store has a vast inventory. The men's clothing and shoe section is especially stylish. There are a lot of brown toned garments and shoes perfect for fall. The shoe section indicated deals from $99 to $139. That seems like a great value for high-quality shoes. MY FINDS: I didn't plan to make any purchases since I was just passing through the store. Instead I found Origins skincare line. It's currently hard to find it in stores due to major beauty retailers pulling it from their shelves. I was able to purchase a gift set. It's my preferred skincare, so I'm happy to find another retailer that carries it for future purchase. SERVICE: The service was very nice. Associates were friendly and smiling. This experience indicated that the service tremendously improved over the years. I look forward to my next visits to Dillard's. I'll be back soon to experience and purchase more Origins products. read more

Incredible Experience - Madeline is a Lifesaver! I had one of the most unexpected yet heartwarming experiences today at Dillards in the mall, all thanks to Madeline I came in to find a dress for my friend's wedding, and Madeline was so helpful from the start--kind, patient, and full of great suggestions. But while I was trying on dresses, I suddenly started feeling dizzy and unwell. Madeline didn't hesitate for a second. She immediately brought me water and snacks, stayed by my side, and kept checking on me the whole time. She stayed with me for over an hour, making sure I was okay. She didn't stop there--she even called another coworker who has nursing experience, and that person checked my pulse, calmly asked me questions about how I was feeling, and made sure I was okay. Madeline even offered to call the ambulance or take me to the hospital and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. Even though I felt embarrassed, she made me feel safe, supported, and never alone. That level of care is rare and speaks volumes about her character and dedication to her customers. Shopping at Dillard's didn't just result in finding a beautiful dress--it reminded me that real human kindness still exists. The service was not only professional, but deeply personal and compassionate. I left feeling taken care of, supported, and truly valued as a customer. I had to return an item for my mom last January, second floor, and waited and walked around to all of the checkouts looking for assistance. I finally called the store from my cellphone to ask if they could send a sales associate. Yesterday I went back, and after much searching and trying on, when it came time to check out, one again no one around to assist. I left the items at the counter and left. read more

We received great customer service at this store. When we walked in from the mall I asked the first sales person I saw where the corduroy slacks were. He walked us around and he asked another clerk. She asked if I had called, and I had. She explained the brand and walked us to the rack. She showed us the fitting room, being pleasant the entire time. Then she checked us out. This was a smooth experience. We hadn't been in a department store for a long time. This store was very nice. read more

I stopped into Dillard's tonight to get a head start on winter boot shopping. I decided to invest in a nice pair of Uggs for walking in and out of work only! I usually buy a cheap pair every year that gets destroyed, so why not get quality? I was hoping to find a pair that was leather and not suede as walking downtown in winter through the snow piles is rough! I found a black pair and they even had a size 11! Yay! The young gentleman that helped me was great! I haven't had that level of service there in a long time. He unpacked the shoes for me, and told me all the comparisons of the leather versus the Cambridge that I loved too. Even though I'm slightly freaking at the $200+ between the leather boots and the weather proofing spray, at least I have them and can spend time deciding. Also, I don't have to worry about them being out of my size if i would have waited! read more

I love this store. I went shoe shopping this weekend & Donna was AWESOME! She brought me different sizes, looked for alternates, and all even though I was shopping the clearance racks. I ended up buying over $500 in shoes from her & I'll be back to ask for Donna's help. This location, the racks were neat & tidy, the store was clean. I can't say the same for their sister location at Southpark where not only was the store a mess, but so were the employees! Donna, thanks for making my shopping experience a great one! Fast service at Clinique

My family and I went to Dillard's on 1/1//2019 in North Olmsted Ohio. My daughter grabbed several items throughout the store to try on and she ended up trying on clothes on the BCBG dresser since she found 3 BCBG dresses that she liked. As you can see my daughter grew 2 inches this year so she went up 3 sizes. I made several trips back and forth to bring her the right sizes. She was probably in the dresser for about 30 min when the manager of BCBG Jose Garcia came screaming at me that my daughter was holding the dresser and that we had to leave the dressing room. I had about 8 items that I wanted to purchase for myself but left them since he threatened to call security to escort me outside if I were to go inside the dressing room and try on clothes. I told my daughter to grab the items that she wanted and we left. She did purchase 9 items of clothing which include 4 pairs of jeans one pair of shorts and several shirts. When I was paying I looked back at the BCBG area and the manager and two girls were just talking. The girl on the counter was on her phone. The workers in the BGBC area are rude, unprofessional, don't like to work. Beware read more
