The shopping cart, used by the cashier, is only accessible from one side as it is blocked-off on 3-sides. This means the shopper checking-out has the dual task of backing out the shopping cart with paid merchandise, then placing the shopping cart used for shopping in place of the removed cart as directed by the cashier. I think they do this to prevent other shoppers from taking the shopping cart, that is to be used for checked-out merchandise away to shop with. I only had 3-items and the cashier did not simplify and speed things up for me by not allowing me to place the recently paid for items in the shopping cart that I used for shopping, as his thought process was to start ringing-up items for the customer behind me. Very awkward and inconvenient for me as a shopper. Perhaps they do this to prevent derelicts from taking the cart away to get the 25-cents coin in the shopping cart coin slot.

I've bought good fruit here, plenty of drinks, and some toiletries, always pretty decent prices. The parking lot is okay for sleeping in, too. Even the local cops told me it would be okay to sleep here. Which was quite a surprise. The store itself is an average location. It has pretty much everything. Prices are cheap. You will feel it sucking your soul out of you as you shop here. I went inside for a fruit drink, some almond milk, and bananas. I paid very little. I felt very small in the world. My nether regions shrank during the process. I am sure of it. Or maybe that was from sleeping in the parking lot in the cold. Who knows.

I was thinking okay, at least the main things I wanted I could pick up were there, so I go to check out, I enter my pin, which has been the same for years, and it said I entered the wrong pin. It did that two more times, then it said I can't use my card for 24 hours! I just canceled the whole order and went to another store. That wouldn't be so bad, except that there weren't any sales associates around who could open up the glass case for me. I decided to go elsewhere for a can of Krylon instead. Much of the men's underwear was also locked away in a glass case. Not the good moisture-wicking stuff, mind you. It was the cheaper Fruit of the Loom underwear that was locked away, bizarrely enough. Do they really have a problem with people stealing or vandalizing the cheap underwear? And not the more expensive stuff? Again, this wouldn't be a bit deal if a sales associate was available. The grocery selection wasn't great in comparison to the other Walmart locations either. And many of their suitcases had no price tags or price signage available. How do they expect to sell these things? This strikes me as a place where the management has pretty much given up on trying to sell stuff.

I was told (after I was already ringing up items) "No self-checkout!" on the self-checkout line that was green. The same person who shouted that, was standing right there as I walked up and started ringing up my items. And I walked past a handful of employees as I made my way back to the exit only to be told when I was almost there "You can't exit that way." Cool cool cool. Poor customer service. Messy store. Avoid it.
