This Walmart is the bane of my existence. I went to buy a desktop listed on clearance at $529 and it rang up $750. Obviously surprised at the price, I asked for a price check and was blown off by two employees and then told that they cannot check the price because that was the last one in stock. I ask if they can check the price tag under the display that is the exact same computer and they blow me off. I then pull up the Walmart app, this exact store with the address and the computer with its price and they tell me it's a different store after confirming the address. I spend the next 20 minutes watching employees blatantly shit talk me while we wait for a supervisor. I then walk over back to the display with a supervisor show him the price tag WITH the correct computer description and he tells me that the best he can do is $650. He tries to tell me the computer I had WHICH IS THE SAME EXACT ONE ON THE DISPLAY isn't actually sold there and that he doesn't have to explain anything to me because this is a walmart. Fine...we agree on $650 and when I go to the register tell me why it rings up at $740 BEFORE tax. WTF. read more

Absolutely horrific experience every time....this is the most unhygienic grocery store I've ever been to. Today I saw fruit pits all over the produce section.... Vegetables that have fallen on the floor, bruised and put right back on shelves by employees. For some reason is always someone's pet (Definitely not service dogs) sitting inside of groceries carts that I put my food in!! There were broken glasses of condiments on the ground that an employee walked right past. Stay away from this Walmart!!! read more

Terrible customer service ever!!! I bought raspberries at this store, It got moldy. 4 days latter stop by at the store and talk with the manager about that. The manager waked away while talking to me. She told me, I have to bring back the molding raspberry store to get refund. The manager doesn't know how to say sorry. she is very unprofessional with customer service. I am not keeping the molding fruit inside my refrigerator and waiting for make a trip go to Walmart to return it. Like all Walmarts it's just a pain in the ass! Let's be honest .... 2 registers open and then 5-6 employees standing around talking near the self check out watching your every move like a hawk! It took me 15 mins to get someone to locate someone to do a propane exchange and the kid working in lawn and garden wasn't interested in calling to find out who had the key so I had to walk through the entire store to locate someone to help me and then wait for them to meet me back at propane! Buyer beware. Bait and switch at the store with pricing. Says one price online and you go to the store and it more money. Nowhere does it say online price only and they wouldn't price match. Worked were also all just sitting around on top of the self serve registers going nothing while the other staff was unloading pallets. Terrible management. Also last time I was in there an dog defecated on the floor and they didn't seem to care. The man didn't even pick up after his dog and workers had to guard customers from stepping in it. If I'm going anywhere near another Supercenter, I will bypass this place. Pretty sad since, they've recently enlarged it and made it into a Superstore. Worst Walmart ever !!! Ordered online Black Friday at noon time, Item had plenty in stock . my credit card was charged the order was taken and I got an email saying they would notify me when what it was ready for pick up. I didn't hear from them by 5 PM so I drove down there only to find out they canceled my order claiming they didn't have anymore in stock as of 5 pm. First of all why does it take an order for something they don't have in stock ? and then cancel the order when they figure out they have none left . second of all why does it take him all afternoon to figure it out. How can you advertise something and not have in stock seems like a bait and switch to me . Which is illegal. I will never order anything from them on line again. read more

I called to see if an item was in stock. I was put on hold and told there was and it would be left at the service desk for pick up. When I arrived(30 minutes drive) they informed me they did not have any. The girl I talked to evidently never checked. I'm updating my review, as Walmart has since added a number of cashiers to their team, and now offers delivery for a yearly fee (which I use every week!). The attitude and professionalism of the staff has also improved greatly. Although it was clear that Walmart's transition to self service cashiers, delivery service (and pick-up) was a difficult one; they certainly seem to have it together now. Bravo Walmart, you earned this long time customer's approval back! read more

This location is a joke... I try to bypass this place if I could. Employee's here have no clue. (I'm sorry if there one or two good employees). You can't find someone to help you and when you do, they don't know anything. And I only come down for minor things. Example: Last week my kids wanted to add a few fish to there tank and we waited at least 25 minutes for someone to pass, I went to electronics to have someone paged. Waited 15 min. Nothing. I called the store and asked for assistance. 10 minutes later I called again and asked for management, at this point 50 minutes later I wanted to see a manager 5 mins later no manager but and employee (very,very nice and apologetic) shows up to help, but couldn't keep his saliva in his mouth, my kids were disgusted. This past Sunday divided to give then another shot. This time 30 and this kid (looked like he didn't care how he looked and dragged his feet) killed $42.00 dollars worth of fish. Who bags tropical fish in cold water? Waste of money.... I'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

Brand newly Renovated...This is a really nice walmart...it is now a super center and has all your grocery needs..I always stop in early mornings and I can always find what I need.. the only thing i can say is,,,,Why can't the clearance section be like Targets? lower the price more and the clearance section will go fast..Always a huge mess in the clearance isles.. read more

The worst customer service experience ever. I tried to exchange an unopened large package of diapers for the correct size. The first person I spoke with said that it was a law that they do not take back any diapers. I explained that I understood, but this would not qualify as the diapers are sealed inside the large box that is also sealed. When I asked to speak with a Manager - they said there was not one available. After I continued to push, they finally admitted there was a manager, John. John told me the same story. He was not able to tell me anything about this law, just that one existed. He was not able to provide me with a copy of it, nor is there anything on the WalMart website in returns. John also would not provide his last name or even an initial. If this was a policy of WalMarts (as it is NOT a law) and they had kindly and accurately explained that to me this would have been a VERY different experience. Instead I was lied to and then got the run around. Needless to say - don't buy diapers there. read more

Your in-store pickup is a joke. The reason for in-store pickup is supposed to be easy not you have to wait 3-4 hours for it to be fulfilled for one item. The lady that helped was great but the miserable older gentleman working probably should retire or learn what customer service is. If one of my employees was that rude they'd be fired. read more

They renovated this Walmart very nicely. However, renovating the interior does not make up for the lack of customer service. I have gone into Walmart and more often than not I am already dreading it in the parking lot. There are always a few select cashiers open, whom may not even care that they have lines into the isles. If there are isles going into lines and more than three people at a line, they should automatically call at least one or two cashiers up to the front to get things moving smoothly. Unfortunately, that has never happened to me at this Walmart. They do keep there shelves stocked, and are pretty good about their returns system. The organization and customer service definitely needs some work however. read more

Should have read the reviews before going here. It is true, the customer service here is no existant. If you have a problem with something at Walmart, go elsewhere. The "customer service" personnel are arrogant, condescending , impatient, rude and ghetto. If you are unhappy with a product they will not fix the problem. Rather than keeping the customer happy, appeasing the customer, or pointing you in the right direction to solve your problem you are dealt an attitude of "I could care less." Don't bother calling here either, I saw 2 representatives repeatedly ignore multiple phone calls to their stations. And if you are expecting eye contact when you talk to someone here, forget it. The customer service workers are mindless, rude drones that can't deviate from their minimal training and can't be bothered to asssist you with anything more than yes, or no answers. read more

I ordered an item for pick-up that I've had trouble locating at stores. I saw it was available in-store at Walmart in Oxford. There was one left in the store so I placed an order for pick-up that day. The store is on the way to my Mother's assisted living facility, so I could swing by there, stop at the pharmacy down the street and drop it all off for her. Unfortunately it was still "in process" when I wanted to head to my Mom's. I figured I could pick it up the next day. Long story short, Walmart said the item was delayed but gave no other info. just listed it as delayed. Now approx. three days later I received a notice that I was getting a refund for the item from Walmart because I had failed to pick up the item! Yesterday it was still listed as delayed! Luckily it's not something that was urgent, although I would have liked to have had it a few days ago. I'm just frustrated at the lack of communication ( they said I would get an email when the item was ready, but none of this was in my email, I had to access my account for the information) and what I took as placing the blame on me, the customer for not picking it up! Again no email if that was the case either. Disappointing!!! read more

Very scary experience being stalked by army like man. I was walking around the store with my husband just trying to get out of the house after a personal tragedy and we both noticed this man not only following us but staring right at us he tried to follow us out the door when my husband made it known we noticed him. We scurried to our vehicle scared to death! I hope he's not spending the holiday season here, please beware he's medium build with a very tight dark hair cut wearing dark clothes. I went to purchase an item that the website said was available at this location... It of course was not, the electronics employee simply said the web site is always wrong... I mentioned I also tried calling that day, twice (first time after 5 minutes they hung up on me, the second I sat their for 10 minutes after being transferred to electronics and gave up with no answer). He just said no one works in that dept until 5PM! Really an entire department has zero employees for most of the day?! No wonder Target is having Walmart's lunch. read more

Poor customer service. I purchased a cell phone with a 2 yr warranty through walmart 2/13, I asked the sales associate how it works.. he said all i needed was my to know when it was purchased and my name and information. Try getting them to warranty it is a hassle and noone is ever available to help and when you call the store forget...Useless! Rude...and it seems like noone wants to work! Okay I am writing this review to let you all know something I doscovered the other day.. if you have more than one walmart in your area shop at the one in the poorer area. I live in Southbridge so there is a walmart in Sturbridge ma and one in oxford Ma and the prices at both are different for the same Items. I realized this because we were going on a camping trip and I need a tent and sleepin bags for 6 people. the sturbridge walmart only had 4 of the 6 sleeping bags I needed so I bought them and the tent I wanted and headed to Oxford walmart to get the other 2 sleeping bags. when I got there I notice the tent I bought was $10 less in Oxford and the Sleeping bags were $3 less when I approached service desk and asked why they answered , " The prices are different at every walmart depending on the average income of the area and the economic level. I was shocked. I went out to car and got receipt and Items I bought in sturbridge and returned them. then proceeded to go to sporting goods and rebuy them all saving myself and my family $28. so basically what I am trying to tell you is it is worth the drive to the less economically sound areas walmart lol read more

the customer service in this store is horrible they will not help you with anything you ask for help they one moment let me get somebody for this department and nobody comes.they hardly ever stock the shelves or rotate the food area make sure you look at dates on food in this store I have found alote of expired food on the shelfs and you tell a employee that its expired they get all mad cuz they half to take it down then you go back a couple days later and they put it back on the shelf wont buy food from there ever again. read more
