I was in for an auto service today. The two young ladies that took my information were good - professional, kind and wore smiles on their faces. I have no complaints of the service I received. However, I was waiting for my car to be finished when I saw a gentleman bring in my keys. He was unfriendly with me, even just as I smiled at him .. I didn't think much of it, just ignored it. A few minutes later, he jumped on a worker for "not working", while two tires were sitting by the desk. As the worker defended himself and said he was actually working with customers, the man said to him, "don't make excuses, just work." The other man said, "I'm not making excuses, Dom, I've been working." Dom, a word of advice to you - don't call out or belittle your team member in front of customers. Customers that have been sitting in seats, watching this man work behind the counter, asking the other young lady which tires were which, so that he could do the necessary paperwork. This isn't a good look for you, sir. It is unprofessional and it is also abusive to your coworker. It was, I am sure, embarrassing for him and it shouldn't be done at all. Do better. read more

I did an online order on Dec 9th, to be delivered between 5pm and 7pm and it was still pending at 8pm. I got no message from the store, at all. I rescheduled the order for delivery on Dec 10th between 8-10am and it was still in pending status at 11am. The phone number has a prompt for pickup and delivery and the phone just rings and rings and then a message that says the number is disconnected. The exact same thing happens when the operator prompt is engaged. I ended up calling the vision department and she attempted to connect me to pickup/delivery and again, no person ever picked up. There is no way to message the store on their website, all you can do is an AI chat, which helps with nothing. I called the corporate office in Arkansas, twice, which is outsourced to another country, and was still not able to get any information from the store and the status was still pending. I ended up canceling the entire order. For a billion dollar company there should be a way to call the local store and talk to the department that is chosen or to talk to the manager on duty. Piss poor customer service and I'm no longer going to do online orders from Walmart. Can we turn the clock back 30 years when companies gave a crap about their customers? read more

But I am concerned with the self checkers they are watching you when the paying customer pulls out their money and it's quite very uncomfortable. And feels very unsafe. Horrible Customer Service and staff. I did a grocery pickup and received half if my items. After an hour on being on hold (hung up on 3 different times) and another drive back into town, there was nothing they could do. Clearly they dont check orders and dont take accountability for their mistakes. I spoke with Jim and Madison who were very rude and unhelpful. This particular store has a major service issue. I've ordered online from this location three times, and all three times I've had issues with items missing from my order. Once because they left out an entire box, and leaving me with about a dozen items I had to go to the grocery store and purchase. This last time they tried to send me home with a package of turkey that was opened and left off two items that I was able to walk into that store five minutes after I got my online order and purchase. So they were there, the employees just didn't bother to get it. I've spoken with two different managers and an assistant manager, all of which have given me all excuses and no solutions. "It's a high-volume store. " I used to order from the highest volume store in the entire state of Arizona since they first offered online order pick up. This only started happening here, in Illinois, when I shop at this particular store. "They pick up online orders overnight, so maybe your items weren't in available then. " So if they weren't available overnight, but are available a few hours later when I come to pick up my order and then walk into the store and find the same item that you left off, that means you either have a stocking problem or a purchasing problem. Either way, it's a problem. When I spoke to an assistant manager earlier today when they not only left off three items that I later found in the store, but had to replace a package that was open that I didn't notice until I got home, they didn't even bother to get my name or even the time I picked up my order. They were obviously not interested in looking at or solving the problem they have at this one store. I'll only shop here as an absolute last resort, which is a shame because this is the closest location to my new place. But the employees will only care as much as the managers do, and it is very obvious the managers do not care if I have a good experience at the store or not. Just to be perfectly clear, this is hands-down the worst experience I've ever had at any Walmart, and it's happened three times in a row now. The store is fine, but the management is awful. I am not fan of Wally World (Walmart) and I try to stay clear of it. However, there are those times. They do have competitive pricing and they do price match off other store Ads. But sometimes ... well, most of the time, the savings is not worth the headache of this overly crowded store. The lines are always super long, out of about 20 lanes, maybe 3-6 are open, the cashiers are slow moving and evil at times. If you have to go to this Wally World here are a few suggestions: Do NOT go on the 1st, 15th or the last day of the month Its open 24/7, go super early in the morning or late at night. If you have a question or can't find an item and you are able to find someone to help you, don't allow them to walk you around the store. Have them radio someone who's knows the answer. Check dates on any foods items Avoid full service check out, check your own items out. They do offer the curbside pick up at this location. I have not tried it but heard it was great. You order your items through their app or online, set a date and time to pick up and someone bring yours bags out to your car. At the end of the day.. I really try to stay away if I can. read more

Be warned. The customer service department at the corporate office is not customer friendly. I had a refund issue recently and was told that Walmart does not do refunds on unauthorized purchases. My debit card was hacked and items were purchased that I never ordered or received. I tried to get a refund for those items but was denied. What is the fraud department there for? I ordered online 45 to pick up curbside. I sat there for 20 minutes before anyone came over to me. I had tried to call the number but nobody answered but I checked in on my phone. When the person came out they couldn't find my order on their phone. They told me my order was for yesterday. I ordered yesterday and was supposed to pick it up today. Then when I looked at my phone it said order was already picked up. They gave my Order to someone else. They wouldn't give me my items because they said they had to give me a refund. Always crowded, poor layout, no one around to help you. Honestly, the might be one of the worst Walmart locations that I've ever been to. The only reason I keep coming back is its close proximity to my apartment. I'm too lazy to drive to the Belleville Walmart, but lately I've started to feel a change of heart coming on. They don't make the hand baskets easily accessible and heaven forbid I have to get a cart. The wheels never seem to work quite right and the weaving around all the stopped people hanging out in the middle of the aisles is enough to drive any shopper insane. This review is only for the automotive section. Ive been here for just under 2 hours now on just now got the car back for a standard oil change. There was one car in an 8 bay garage ( 4 for tires 4 for lube). This should have been a clear sign something was going to go horribly wrong. I had to return phones that did not work, even after an employee in electronics helped to try to activate them. I also purchased two phone cards. When I asked a Customer Service "Supervisor" if I could get a refund for the cards, about $40.00, she told me that since I scratched them to get the pin number to activate the phones, she would give me a refund. Of course I said "I had to scratch them to get the pin number, and the phones would not activate!" She replied, "Well, that's not my problem!" I asked if that was an answer that should be given to a customer? I also asked to see a manager. She VERY reluctantly, and if looks could kill, I would have been dead on the floor, called a manager named "Sandra, or Sandy". Who after helping me for two hours finally refunded the inoperable phones. She was great, but would not give me the name of the disrespectful employee, saying she would handle it. So to start off I have been in well over 50 different Walmart Stores and this one was probably one of the worst. The layout of this store is terrible and makes it incredibly hard to find anything that you need. There was no one around working that I could find to ask where some items were located. I have even worked for Walmart so I normally do not have any trouble but this one was completely different than any others I have been in. I live in O'Fallon and I drive to Belleville Walmart just to avoid the frustration of this location. This place is steady flooded with every bit of surrounding area trash because it's on the bus line and management could give a shit less about opening more than a few lanes no matter how many people are waiting. I tried two different times to pick up my online order only to find five people ahead of me and the first person had been waiting for 45 minutes the second time I returned and found only one person in line with associate on a call trying to get a "turn key" and he said he could not help me until the first person was done. They really need to get better service. I can never find any help when I'm trying to purchase something ad I have questions. Also, when I finally find someone, they usually don't know the answers to my questions. Another questions: why do the employees from the electronics department scoop the fish from the tank when buying fish? I've been I there on more than one occasion trying to buy electronics, but the cashier for the expensive electronics is in the back of the store scooping 99 cent gold fish for someone else.
