I walked in…read moreand was immediately accosted by the saleswoman (I was wearing an expensive brand of athletic sandals which she spotted before I got both feet through the door) - she stalked me through the whole store telling me the discount and holding every pair of shoes in my size up to my face saying she had "better prices than Amazon." When I tried to browse she continued to badger me. Her high pressure tactics ruined the experience for me, and, newsflash, I wasn't looking for bargains I was looking for great shoes. When I started to leave she made rude comments under her breath about people who waste her time. I'll never go back.

This place was huge with many bins filled with all kinds of things. You need some time to go through everything. I'm not experienced but there are professional searchers there so I just stand next to them and watch them go through it and if there is something that I like then I will take it if they don't. I got a cool Spider-Man/Venom shirt for about 50 cents. There are many good deals but you will need some time.

I think that's why the Goodwill Outlet exists. Staff don't label or stage or toss broken stuff. They leave it for this crowd. I saw broken items and intact items. I saw dirty items. I needed a shower by 5 minutes in and I stayed a good 30. I almost bought a few wooden hangers for a friend, but it turned out she didn't need them, so I left them behind. Someone else's treasure. I didn't visit the clothing area because I doubt I'd wear anything that came from this Goodwill Outlet, though I'm sure there are some gems. Goodwill Outlet is a scrapper's paradise. Not just a reseller's... I mean a metal scrapper's. Someone filled a cart with all kinds of metal goods. I didn't check prices, but the last time I checked, most things were by the pound. Tip 1: Get there early or you'll be waiting around for parking. Tip 2: "Early" may also apply to the afternoon, as the hours online suggest they close for 2 hours for lunch.

You'll have more boutique and locally owned businesses, or the big Dillards, Sephora. They are building a Dick's Sporting Goods here and a ramen place! And I think this is the only place that has Cheesecake Factory, Savage by Fenty, and Lush. So, it's not bad! We've come here often enough that it's better than the malls closest to us and the outlet, imho. There's plenty of parking, but because of the construction, you'll want to park in certain areas.

Saint Louis Galleria gets sadder and sadder each time I shop. When I come, I am always shocked with…read morestores that have opened and closed. The variety of stores seem to be getting lower and poorer. The Galleria use to advertise, "Where the Best Stores put their Best Stores". Now when I stroll the mall, I'm lucky if I see a familiar branded store. I basically only come for two stores now. I shop the Apple Store, which I am surprised is still located in the mall. I would have expected them to depart to a strip center somewhere else in the metro area. The other store I frequent is Tommy Bahama, but I don't shop there as often as I use, too. I can now just go on line and have it shipped to my home. My most recent visit, I could see the wear and tear of the Galleria and a desperate need for repairs and maintenance. As long as Apple remains a tenant, I'll keep coming back.

The only real downside is the value isn't always there. I've seen some pretty rough clubs that are WAY overpriced. On the flip side, I've seen many clubs that are very modestly priced and I've gotten some pretty good deals. That's just the business. I love this place and 100% recommend coming here. I've brought many people in to shop (some Hoosiers ) who aren't your atypical golfers, and they were treated the same as everyone else. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Not the biggest St. Vincent around but there were some decent finds. Found a good deal on a mid…read morerange set of snorkeling goggles, but that's about it. They have the usual selection of clothes and random books. Not much for athletic equipment but that's part of the fun is you never know what they will have in that day. Oh and just a heads up the drop off is right in front of the store but you need to go through the parking lot area and pull up to the cones. Honestly it's not a good design and I saw drivers getting confused with it as I walked in. And the cars dropping off donations could get backed up and block in anyone parked in the front row. This really should be changed.
