Walked in to buy a few things, one was a pint of ice cream. When I stepped out of the store, I noticed it had holes in the side of it. I walked back in and got in line at the customer service and five employees just stood there watching the ice cream drip from the holes in them kind of ice cream and not a single one of them had the decency to offer to take it from me and tell me to go grab another one. When I finally got to the desk the lady said I needed a receipt which I had anyway but still it was great value like as if I bought it somewhere else I can literally just bought it 3 minutes earlier. Don't go but about once a year but will stop going that often. No sanitary wipes at the door to clean baskets, no floor help that speaks English, no one to check you out, but boy, they always have someone to check your groceries when you leave. I bought tires for my kia from there. I noted to them that they had cracks in sidewall even though they were brand newly installed. I had a flat on one of them and took in for repair. They guy kept telling me it couldn't fix it because of the cracks on the sidewall. I believe it was an "your gonna have to buy a new tire tactic ". When I raised the question of the cracks when they installed them they said "those cracks are normal abnormalities ". I suggest not accepting new tires with any cracks. Check them out very well and bring it up to manager. Or just buy tires somewhere else. A 1 star review is to high for this issue. read more

It would be very helpful and convenient if if there was a way to page someone to the paint center and leave your number so they could call when they are walking that way or there. Even leaving your name and paging you over the loud speaker to the paint center when someone can assist you.. Updating my review, since you can't log more than one. My husband just informed me that while he was shopping, he needed to find some batteries and didn't know where they were. He saw an employing scanning products, squatting, in the middle of an isle and said "excuse me, Miss" no answer , said again "excuse me, miss" and no answer so he squared down beside her thinking maybe she didn't hear him or he didn't speak loud enough, he looked at her and said "excuse me miss" And again no answer. Finally another employee walked down the isle and he asked her his question and received an answer, finally. Right after that, both employees began chatting it up. Guess she could hear after all. Visited my local Walmart on a Monday morning, needless to say the store wasn't packed and seemed to be very well stocked after the Thanksgiving weekend. I made my way to get what I needed and was in and out in 20 minutes or less thanks to self check out. Odessa West Side Walmart features everything you'll find in any supercenter, from hardware, automotive, home improvement, sporting goods, toys and clothing to grocery, pets, kitchen, furniture, health and wellness, pharmacy, deli and bakery and also a Murphy USA gas station right up front in the parking lot this Walmart has it all like the typical Walmart, still better than the one across town built in 2003. read more

Pick up could not be any more incompetent. Every single time I place an order online, my order gets screwed up. I'll wait a few months and try again hoping they have hired new/better people. Last time I ordered I received diabetic testing supplies that had been opened and was missing items out of the box. I immediately went inside to try and return or exchange it. I was told I had to send it back to the manufacturer. I made the mistake of ordering again today. None of the food I ordered was in my order. After calling the store I was given an 800 number. The guy that answered the phone wasn't so smart. After repeating the first item six times. I gave home the price. He still couldn't find it!!! He asked me to spell the name. Then, after telling him every item that was missing. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to get a refund. Which is awesome because that was all of my grocery money for the next couple of weeks. I would rather shop somewhere else & pay more money than have to deal with this BS. read more

Don't ever do curbside pickup with Wal Mart. Just don't, trust me. They take forever to bring your order and when you try and call the number they provide, nobody answers. They have the WORST customer service. You might as well go inside and shop yourself because it may take the same amount of time as waiting for a curbside order. read more

The store manager at the West Odessa loop 338 displayed racists behaviors and is now the next new Karen/Becky. She discriminated against a black man trying to legally purchase an item. They had these items marked at a particular price on that item as well as on their Walmart App.Not to mention they watched him and hounded him as he tried to make his purchase in the self checkout. When asked why he is not allowed to purchase the item she has no valid or legal reason. If you are advertising a certain price you MUST honor that price. Instead of trying to resolve the issue she refuses to explain her actions and told me to call corporate and even hung up on me when I tried to talk civilly to her. So guess what? Corporate won't be the only people I'm calling. Did I mention the man went to a different Walmart were they had the same items priced exactly the same and a manager was called to verify the price. I parked my RV overnight here a few weeks ago on May 18th with my 4 little puppies I call my kids. I was walking one of them at around 9am when some crazy lady came screaming by in her car not seeing me or my dog. My dog went under the front of the vehicle and ended up under her rear passenger wheel and died bleeding in my arms as she kept driving like nothing had happened. People who visit this Walmart need to be made aware of the extremely hazardous pedestrian dangers the parking lot poses. People come flying through this parking lot like they are exiting from a freeway off ramp driving in excess of 45 miles an hr. I'm just letting everyone know so the same thing doesn't happen again.
