I scheduled an appointment to have four new tires installed and still ended up waiting over two hours. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication. No one provided any updates on the status of my vehicle, and I had to repeatedly ask for information myself. I understand that delays can happen, but if an appointment is running behind, customers should be informed and given realistic expectations. The purpose of making an appointment is to avoid excessive wait times, and unfortunately that was not the case. While the work was eventually completed, the experience left a lot to be desired. Based on this visit, I would think twice before purchasing tires here again. read more

I have mixed feelings about this store. First off I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. I have never had a problem with customer service in the main store .and have never had a problem returning items. The main problem is that certain departments that use the Walmart logo are not owned by Walmart. They are subcontractors. The slowest and worst curbside pick up ever. For over a year they have been consistently negligent and making people wait way too long. We waited FIFTY minutes when there was hardly anybody there and this is at 8 o'clock at night. We've talked to a manager about this before, and apparently they still don't get it. I requested that my 2 L soda pop be put in bags and they weren't put in bags. Nobody knew anything about my order despite my checking and TALKING TO PEOPLE OUTSIDE AND CALLING THREE TIMES . Everybody acted like they didn't know what was going on. They made me late for an appointment that I had to cancel. It is absolutely the worst Walmart we've ever been to and it falls on the manager. Pickup and front desk don't respect peoples time - they don't answer their phones nor pick up like they should and they put you in a never never land of a continually ringing phone with no one answering after you ask for a manager. Or a stupid recording that they're busy. Really? At nine and 10 o'clock at night? We don't think so. What a joke this place is. We hate this stupid store! I'm ready to start shopping elsewhere because Palmetto, Fl Walmart ALWAYS is out of the $4 Horizon milk but will substitute the $5 Horizon milk. I feel like they are consciously making me choose the more expensive product. Same thing for the distilled water. Can't get the $1 one but the $2 one is available. 2nd bad service today.....took over 1.5hrs to pick up my groceries. Sometimes I think people give negative reviews just to be mean however I cannot agree with what was said on the other reviews. I was in Sarasota visiting and we needed a Walmart one night. We wanted to get breakfast food the night before so that we didn't have to get up early to do it. There was virtually no one in this store. I'm not used to that coming from Atlanta because there is always someone walking around in Walmart. I found items I wouldn't normally find at the Atlanta locations. I was like a kid in a candy store to be honest. I was looking for some summer clothes as well. That section was a little scattered but I found myself a cute top and was happy about it. If I could actually give this complaint a negative 10, I would. It is now over 24 hours since I first placed my order with Palmetto, FL Walmart for a 1-hour wallet sized photo costing $.58. I have yet to receive my merchandise or an email informing me it's ready but...that's OK because I ordered it else where for $.40 cheaper, with an $.18 coupon. I contacted their (Walmart) Customer Care Center from an email that was sent 20 minutes after I placed my order, not once but twice. Got no where. I am attaching a copy of of the second online chat, as well as, the complaint to what I am assuming is corporate. Although I stated I would be in contact with the Store Manager and Corporate. Ordered Christmas cards online and picked up them up Saturday night 12/17 got home went to start addressing the cards to mail and no envelopes. Went back to Walmart 12/18 in the morning to get the envelopes only to be told they don't have any, Sorry. When I said sorry that's it I was told we can order them for you they should be here by the end of the week so I could mail my cards out after Christmas. Not happy with that response went upfront and asked for a manager, I waited over 20 minutes and no manager ever showed up got mad and left. I know the loss of my business in the long run means nothing to Walmart they piss off hundreds of customers constantly, but needed to vent. I use to live by Target and always shopped there and then I moved to Palmetto area and Walmart was closer, Trust when I tell you the extra 15 minutes you drive past this Walmart and to Target is well worth it. read more

They're being "generous" with their ratings! 1- Walmart+ deliveries: Drivers fail to follow directions ("please ring doorbell"). refrigerated and frozen items are delivered but by the time you realize your order is there, most are at air temperature (refunds are successful). 2- Their in-store associates are "complacent" on a good day. Too many tasks, no time, "put out" for assisting customers. Additionaly they're poorly trained, & unfamiliar with processes when service is needed. I spent 45 minutes, speaking to 4 different associates who all redirected me, just to get a propane tank exchange. Finally, the last associate walked me to the area, only to find out it was a self-serve kiosk taking "Credit card" only & not programmed for debit cards. Fortunately I didn't request paint mixture. 3- WalMart"+" membership, a pure $100/yr profit for Bentonville. Think about it, do you get discounts on any products or service i.e., "member only"? Even their fuel prices are higher than most AFTER your discount. The ONLY advantage is delivery services. Yes, convenient but, reorders are freqauent due to the spoilage as noted in my first notation. read more

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation recently and had just the worst experience. After having our car for 5 hours, they called to tell us it was ready, but they could not do the tire rotation due to the brand of our vehicle. They said they did not want to damage the car. We have been taking this car to the same shop at Walmart for oil changes and tire rotations for years. There has never been an issue with them rotating the tires. It was getting to be the time to close, so they just didn't feel like dealing with our tire rotation. We brought this to the clerk's attention and he was just downright rude to us. The next day my husband went to the store to speak with the manager as we noticed damage to our car that the techs at Walmart did. He was shuffled around several managers and one tried to make a claim, but was told by his higher ups not to do it. He came back the next day again to speak with the manager and was told they reviewed the tapes and they did not damage our car. As for the tire rotation, they are sticking by their original comment that they cannot rotate tires on an Infiniti, which is a load of crap since they have done it over and over. Go elsewhere- the entire staff and management team care nothing about customer service or making things right when they mess up. Sad how badly we get treated at Walmart, yet it is just expected and accepted since they have low prices. Take me to Target any day over this disgusting store. read more

I shop at the Palmetto Walmart a lot and now I just can't go to Palmetto Walmart anymore. The staff is beyond rude and unhelpful. Employees are racist against white people and are purposely clear about it. There is absolutely no customer service. Try to get help and employees let you know you an inconvenience to them if you can find one to help at all. . Going through the checkout line is very uncomfortable. Cashiers won't say hello, thank you, or goodbye, all the while conversating with their co-workers like you don't exist. My last time shopping there and the tipping point in my decision of not shopping there again, is while not acknowledging me at all she was almost done checking me out and she said "don't forget your groceries" I said excuse me, as I wasn't sure what she meant, she repeated her statement handed me my receipt and turned her back to me to talk to her co-worker. Well, that was all to let me know she would not be placing one of my bags into my cart!! Obviously! Walmart stopped putting bags in your cart years ago! That would be way too much effort for them. Besides that, shelves aren't stocked, or things are not in stock, but I can go to Walmart across town and the store is clean, well stocked, and friendly employees willing to help the customer. i recently purchases persciption sun glasses from the walmart eye center in palmetto, fl. after 2 months they were horrible scratched and the lense had a crack. i stopped in the store to show them. the tech was very sympathetic but told me the glasses were no longer under warrenty. but he called over his supervisor. she was beyond rude. told me it was my fault for dropping the glasses. i told her i never dropped them - they are always in my car. she then told me it was my fault for leaving them in the car? she said this causes damage to the frame. she never made eye contact with me and acted like i was such an idiot. the tech told me i could order another pair. really? another $200 bucks for perscription sun glasses that last two months? no thanks. the lense finally just fell out and now i am forced to order another pair - it will not be from walmart eye center! read more

Everytime I order for delivery, they always get it here on time and good choosing by the shoppers. The delivery people are always very special and make sure not to let me know food is here until they drop it at the door and get back in the car as we are on lockdown. The store in Palmetto FL is terrible!!! It needs a new GM AND NEW STAFF. I moved to the area a couple months ago. I've been to the store several times. The only good thing I can say about it is that the Pharmacy does a good job. The rest of the store is a mess and even looks dirty. And, PLEASE fix and keep the electric carts charged. This place is always a zoo. Today it took 20 minutes to checkout. We were third in line. Our cashier Barb S. was the worst cashier I have ever experienced. Being slower than molasses at checkout is tolerable if you're nice and have an ounce of personality. She did not greet us, make basic eye contact, tell us the total of our bill, or number of bags we had as to not miss any. I think the only thing I heard her say was a mumbled 'thank you' as we were walking away after my husband had thanked her. Someone needs to check this lady's customer service skills. read more

Per Walmart.com, the stores are supposed to match the price on walmart.com The associates did not attempt to be helpful or assist me when I brought this to their attention. I even advised them that I can buy it online, select store pick up. This is the route I took and now they will have to do more work for what could have been a few clicks of the register.. I mean, it's Walmart... Of course it's terrible. There is an escalator on the North side which will take you to the hidden VIP section of Walmart where there is butlers that bring around little mini quiches to everybody, and there's a huge bouncy castle where you can leave your kids so you don't have to beat them in the produce section, and all of the carts are maintained to perfection and are voice activated, and they have impeccable customer service all-around. read more

No cashiers! Only self-check-out lanes open! Two cashiers were there, but those lanes were closed due to "customer service issues" . The "Supervisor" literally stood in plain view scratching his junk and looking at his shoes. There were several self check out lanes open.... backed up into the aisles with families/children with fully loaded carts. I have never seen a Walmart this bad, this sad. This was on a Monday afternoon while most people were at their jobs. I had one item, ONE item I needed. After waiting in a non-moving line for 25 minutes, I put my item down, and left. The absolute worst place to get your oil changed. The first time I went to get my oil changed here it took them over two hours. The last three times I've went in just for an oil change they say the same thing, "it will be about 3 1/2 hours". Always the same time frame 3 1/2 hours. It seems they don't want to change anyone's oil at this location so why even offer the service? I think they've found the right amount of time to tell people so they won't stay and get their oil changed here. Corporate should consider shutting down the automotive center or hiring employees who actually want to make their business money. I have seen the bad reviews and I disagree. The workers are very helpful on different occasions I lost a debit card and cane and both were returned through customer service. The store handles a large volume of working class people and it has a good selection of food and merchandise. I have not seen the massive disorganization the other reviewers talk about. This is a horrible Walmart store in Palmetto, FL. There are non-professional and rude workers that never know anything. If you need help and ask about something most of the time they go away with very angry face and don't know the answer. When you ask for the manager, the answer that the manager is not here and I don't know how to call the manager. Even the supervisors have this rude and no help attitude. Most associates do not wear name badges, including supervisors. Most of the time the store and restrooms are dirty. They close their customer services counter as they wish and if you have a return you might need to come several times to make sure it is open. Sometimes they decide to have only two register to run with cash to accept cash and allow cash back out of 24 registers that would be open, including self-check-out, but you need to hunt it yourself because associates would not tell you which registers are with cash and there are no signs. It looks like associates and managers are not properly trained, especially, in customer service and they do not follow basic procedures of running the successful Walmart store! I am boycotting Walmart! Attempted to check out at garden center as I always do, Linda the check out lady was swamped, she stated the other cashier went on lunch break. Then she had to go get a propane tank! No help! I decided to go into the store to self check out. Asked the girl there if she could call to get Linda some help. I was told "if you were in a hurry you shouldn't have went to garden center"! Really! I was trying to get some help since the line was was very long! I called the store and asked to speak to store manager and was told he was not in but took my name and number and stated would call me back tomorrow which would have been Monday. I did not receive a call back so I call the store again, was told he was in a meeting but would call me back, called back a third time still have not received a call!
