I had to have 2 batteries replaced in 2 different watches. I wished Elizabeth a Happy Easter and she returned the salutations but everything went down hill from there soon as she saw the watches! She informed me they only worked on Walmart watches! I said great both of these are Walmart watches she came back with we don't work on the higher end watches I said that's fine nether cost more than $10 and I've had batteries replaced in both at this store before. She kept getting more and more of a bad attitude and finally I told her if she couldn't replace the batteries get someone who could! That's when she accomplished the only good customer service she had in the entire transaction!!! She retrieved poor Criston from her break and she replaced both in less than 5 minutes with Best thing of all a Good Pleasant Attitude!!! Elizabeth could learn so much from this woman but instead copped such a negative attitude because it was obvious she didn't know her job and wasn't going to put any effort into finding out how to do it!! Instead sulked around slitting negative comments! If you have to have any work done at the jewelry counter look for Criston she's a true asset and WalMart is Very Lucky to have her!!! This store is horrible. Every-time we shop at this Walmart there is a problem at the register or somewhere else. The manager doesn't give cashiers the responsibility to correct a small transaction problem at the register. Instead, you have to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come over with the key, so that they can continue with your transactions. We had a coupon for $.50 that wasn't showing the discount. We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come over with the key so we could get our discount. When we went out to our car we found about 100 shopping carts lined up behind our car, so we couldn't move. We had purchases that included several frozen items.We also had our 5 month old granddaughter with us who was getting hot and crying.We waited and waited for the cart people to return. They didn't. Finally some other people whose cars were also blocked arrived and were able to push the carts away from blocking our car so we could leave. I blame everything on a very very poor manager. Obviously there is no customer service training at this store. I am ready to travel further from our home to a different Walmart or even to Target, in an effort to get better customer service. read more

I brought my service dog in a dog bag to this store and the greeters threaten to call the police on me because they told me that it had to be a specific service dog even though there were other dogs in the store at the same time. This is ridiculous and all I was going there for was for some trash bags and dog food. The front restroom was disgusting. Toilet paper all over the floor, the toilet paper in the dispenser was soaking wet. I went to the back of the store and there were 3 people (two employees) blocking the entrance to the restroom so to avoid the altercation I used the family restroom. My husband had to go as well so he followed me in. Before I could finishing going a woman was banging on the bathroom door screaming that I can't do drugs in the bathroom. I started to wash my hands so I could open the door and she comes bursting in before my husband could even finish. She was in a black T-shirt and jeans we didn't even realize she was an employee. She proceeds to curse and scream and follow me and my husband out of the store. She said if we had a problem we could speak to her manager told us her name was Veronica and then walked away. When the manager came over he listened. Never said sorry. Said he would handle her and then walked us out of the store as if we were criminals. We are in town for a funeral. I have cried for 3 days, slept wrong and needed help in the restroom. I was shopping for Tylenol and pajamas I forgot to pack and instead I got walked out because I needed to use the restroom. I have tried to call corporate twice. The representatives say they are transferring me to the ethics department and then I get disconnected. I was minding my own business shopping around and this woman comes up to me and asks me an off the wall question that only an employee would know. The set up of this Wal-Mart is much different than the one I use around my house. I go to this location for work frequently, and the location in Buckeye has a set up that I am more use to. Not the stores fault, but I have a hard time trying to find a lot of things I am looking for. The only problem with that is that I can never seem to find any associates that are willing to help me find what I need. Any associate that I find seems to avoid me. Other than this, I really like Wal-Mart and their prices and I will continue to shop at this one and many others to save my money. read more

I try to be a fair observer, giving a business the benefit of the doubt. However, this Walmart has time & time again proved to be the worst I've ever frequented. Every visit, I get smacked in the face with the most horrendous stench! I've no idea where it's source is. The aisles tend to be dirty & the frozen foods aisle, forget about it. All the ice cream packaging has a thin layer of frost on them?! Moving on, several occasions I needed to ask more then one associate for help, either because one didn't know english or didn't have enough product knowledge. Auto center Is crap. After taking my truck in for a simple oil change, it was returned to me with is leaking oil because the drain plug wasn't tightened correctly. Also when they removed my oil filter they didn't use the proper tools which resulted in oil draining all over the alternator and ruined my Alternator. Now I have to replace my alternator which is $400. i had brought my truck back 2 times and they couldn't figure out why it was leaking they kept saying it was becaUse of all the oil the mechanic had left on the splash guard underneath the truck even though it was pretty obvious it was the drain plug. As far as Walmart goes, this is a pretty good one. It's not the best. But it is O.K. My only complaint is that the McDonald's that is inside of it does not have WiFi. What's Up With That? Free WiFi is one of the main reasons to be at McDonald's. Other than that, this Walmart has just about everything you would expect. I had a problem with my bank and used another card to spend $68. Upon leaving I plugged my dying phone into an outlet between the store and the mall. This young Wal-Mart employee comes out and tells me it is illegal to charge my phone on their private property. When I stated that I just spent nearly $70 and needed to call my bank he told me he would have me arrested if I didn't unplug the phone from their electricity. The security guard who appears to dress in the attire of a high school student not a professional security harasses me every time I come to this store. 80% of the associates are pleasant and helpful but this young person who has some chip on his shoulder stops me each time I'm in store. It is laid out nicely and the staff is nice. But this wall mart is just as slow as many outhers I've been too here in phoenix, they are really slow you will wait in line for ever.
