I usually don't write negative reviews because I'm really easy going and patient. Saturday evening we were shopping for outside furniture and when found what we need it we got no help. We asked 2 different employee's for help and they said "well be right there", we waiting and no one came. We needed help loading two very heavy boxes onto a shopping cart which wasn't the right cart to load 60+ box. Either way we managed to load it up. We needed to pay for the furniture but there was no one at the garden register. I went out looking for an employee and ran into Paul (manager), I asked if he can send someone to garden because we needed to checkout and exit through their garden department. He was no help at all, made us push our heavy cart accros the store to a self checkout aisle. Very unprofessional on how he handles your store. I own a business and I know a little bit of customer service, I would never neglect a paying customer. I think he was just trying to get out of there. A little help would of been appreciated or atleast he could of open the garden sliding door to make easier to push the heavy cart to out truck read more

I went to this Wal-Mart sunday my boyfriend needed to return a watch set ect... the hispanic lady who does the labeling scaned/labeled whatever you call it. During the time she was looking for the bar code or something she made me move and ordered me to move in certain spot because other people were coming. She kept speaking spanish?? She was mean, rude, being a bully, DISSRESPECTFUL & Controlling! After we went to customer service we were next in line when this girl in her twenties working there says wait a second. Despite the fact that we were next and we were waiting for her we are the customers. We waited more than a second she was on her phone the whole time and was very rude not working and not doing her job at Walmart instead of helping us like I said she was on her phone she should be fired immediately. Then the other lady on the other register helped us because she said she would and she didn't. To the manager I hope you are reading this because you need to do something about these women these people first a lady in front who labels or whatever you call it make sure she gets fired then the lady at customer service who cares more about her phone than her job. read more

VISION CENTER/OPTOMETRIST REVIEW: Wrong prescription, bizarre behavior of optician Bizarre, argumentative encounter with a disturbed woman. My ophthalmologist retired & this place was the only one within driving distance open on a Saturday. $80. is quite cheap and I was a bit suspicious (why so cheap?) This lady, her aide argued with me that an "optometrist is the SAME as a doctor!" an ophthalmologist is an MD, an optometrist is not. I said "well it really doesn't matter to me at all, I am only in need of a contact lens prescription! I'm sure she ("doctor" Yoon) will be just fine.." Apparently this optometrist's pride was injured by my not giving her the honorific of "Doctor" (I don't know, I am only guessing here?) because she was really remarkably snitty, argumentative in a manner I have yet to experience with ANY one- in fact she created arguments where there were none. She spoke so fast that I had to ask her to repeat herself three times. She asked if I was "born premature"(!!) I asked her why she was asking- she huffed and became angry "I am ASKING you if you were born premature!" She is not an MD, so I am not sure where she was going with this. Now, I usually side with the professional in these types of reviews and not with the customer- all I can say is, YOU go here and see for yourself. She whipped through the exam as if on a speed race, which I figure hey only 80 dollars- but that wasn't even worth it as she gave me the WRONG PRESCRIPTION: a full power under my correct one. I have a feeling the whole thing behind this creepy, weird encounter was because I would not call her "Doctor" I don't know, but that's all I can figure. I don't mind titling a medical person "doctor" if that is indeed their title, but if not (such as Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Community Health Officer) I will not refer to them as one. It's unfair to doctors, and they are not the same. Optometrists take 3 yrs to get a license- doctor at least seven. Anyway, this lady Grace Yoon battled with a total stranger. 80.00 is STILL too much money to spend if one gets the wrong prescription either way. read more

Customers don't watch their children, and the staff seem to be overwhelmed by the atmosphere. The managers and staff don't seem empowered to confront poor behavior.. So how does one go about trying to capture the essence of their love/hate relationship with a Wal-Mart? Falling prices and the happy yellow smiling face aside, do you embrace the mascot for consumerism or come down on the side of price fixing and driving the supply market to third world countries? I will admit, there are times moral ethics take a back seat to getting a good deal and I will head on out to my local store. On those occasions, I can be guaranteed of a few things: 1) You will not ever find a parking spot anywhere near one of the entrances, so don't even bother with lot trolling. 2) Locating someone to answer a question is like searching for the Holy Grail. 3) At some point during your visit, you will have to step over a soiled diaper. 4) You will find a meat or dairy product tucked away in the hunting gear or automotive department. 5) You will become convinced that some parents have chosen the store as their babysitter and dropped their kids off at the door, leaving them to run screaming through the aisles, spreading terror wherever they go. 6) Your cart will either pull to one side, making it impossible to maintain a straight line OR will make a piercing shrill noise similar to that of a howler monkey. 7) They will be out of the one thing that made your visit imperative. 8) The clothing department will look like they were filming a scene for the movie Twister. 9) The customer service line will be snaked longer than an E-Ticket ride at Disneyland during spring break. (I believe this is a plot to lesson your likelihood to return items) 10) They will only have 3 checkout lanes open and the person in front of you will have selected the single item with no pricing information, requiring a price check (see #2) OR will not have enough money to pay for everything and will have to pare down their purchase. For those of you that are looking for BIG excitement, take a tour of this place at 11:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. I promise you an experience you will never forget! read more

This review is specifically for WALMART PICKUP AT SPECTRUM MALL. FIVE STARS, Smooth running pickup with professionals working to quickly and efficiently fill orders. The lady who I'm assuming is a manager has fantastic customer service ethic and really extended that to make my experience great! I tried pickup service at two other locations this year and, well let's just say, I was displeased. One walmart hired a man to "point us" to an empty que that had no employees. Waited 30 minutes for someone to return. THIS WALMART has a place right at the entrance HOW DARN CONVENIENT!!!!!! I will be using this walmart from now on for my online pickups. I have called and called five (5) different, including this one at 1607 W. Bethany Home Road, and a couple of others; one being the Walmart at 19th and West Bell Road in Phoenix, AZ. I specifically called out these stores is because I have been doing business with them for the past 6 years. Mine and a number of others who have complained of the customer service is that NO ONE ever answers the phone in the auto department. I personally have let the phone ring for 15 minutes and no one picked up the phone. I then called the garden the department and they tried to no avail. The garden department then told me the auto department gets more complaints than any other departments in the stores. If we can't get service in the auto department then Walmart shouldn't even bother having this department. read more

I like this store. My only issue is they never have enough electric carts for people that need them. They have 3 but only 2 work. I am on crutches and need a cart but they are never available unless you go very early even then its iffy they will be there. They also hardly work. I had one lady try to shove me out of the one I was using. I had my crutches in the basket at the time. She told me to get off as she needed it since she did not want to walk then when I said no she tried shoving me off then grabbed my crutches to throw them when another customer came to my defense and took my crutches from her. Told her she can walk her fat butt around as I clearly needed more then a lazy woman who just did not but only want to use it so she didn't have to walk. Management is really nice though. One of the store managers Robert is super nice and always helpful. I love how affordable their shirts, shorts and flipflops are. All under $5. For someone like me on a VERY small income source it is helpful. They also have great dog treats. read more

I called regarding if they carried a specific item in stock, so first of all this gal who answered the phone just said "Walmart how can I help you?"... now shouldn't you answer the phone by saying your name? That's how big corporate companies should train their employees. Their tire center is the worst. Just needed one tire replaced, and they had my car for 3 hours. They couldn't ring up my paperwork because the guy put it in wrong and then they needed a CSM to void out the old one. Apparently the woman has called the CSM 4 times but no one has showed up in an hour. A few customers were waiting for battery replacements, but that's another thing they can't do without a CSM, who didn't show up. One customer walked out, and still no CSM. When he does show up, he said he never heard the call, tinkers on the computer for a second, then leaves without doing anything. Several customers are waiting, the front desk woman is incompetent. Don't come here for anything time-sensitive, it won't happen. By far, the worst experience at a Walmart Tire Center I've ever had. Find a different one. read more

I actually cannot wear a mask and was socially distancing in an aisle alone when he approached me and asked if I had a mask and I said yes, it's in my pocket. Walmart for me is like going to get a root canal, had to come in to return a online holiday gift. After a tug a war with in store and online customer service we were finally able to get the item as store credit vs back on original form of payment. Dropped my car off to get a couple of tires put on. They told me they had the tires I needed and told me it'd be an hour. Two hours later I went back to the counter to ask the progress. They told me that they, in fact, do not have the tires for my car. I proceeded to ask why it took them 2 hours to figure this out. The lady replied, "I don't know. They only told me 25 minutes ago." Seriously? It shouldn't have taken that long to realize they didn't have the tires. But even if it took them 1 1/2 hours, the lady should have called me right away instead of letting me sit in the waiting room thinking my tires were getting put on. What a waste of time. I' m disable wasn't feeling well, and was unstable to use my Walker. We park 15 ft from Marketplace entry way. My husband went to get me a scooter, first of all there was no sign saying you couldn't take it outside. So he commenced to take it outside, the guy Luis start talking crazy to my husband and disrespecting him. My husband said my car is right there in front of the store. On my way back in Luis kept talking crazy, so my husband ask Luis to speak to a supervisor. This floor monitor walk up and said yes Luis is right, you can't take the Scooters out. My husband said t I'm 50 yrs old and know one disrespect me and talk to me any kind of way. The lady then said we have a new pavement and Scooters can't go outside, that doesn't make any since think about it. She is worry about the scooter and not what Luis said to a customer . We ask for her manager, the manager came and said I don't know anything explain . My husband told her Luis was being disrespectful and talking to him any kind of way, while explaining to the manager on what took place, and why he couldn't take the scooter out. She said And, my husband couldn't get the next sentence out she said And again, being disrespectful. She said And again two more other times. These Scooters cost $300 , people can steal them, mind you our car is 15 ft from the door. They disregard I was sick, disable, park in handicap parking. My husband told them I was unstable. The General manage was not respectful at all , I said the point is he was being disrespectful are you going to talk to Luis , this bitch reply was , yes and buy. I look around and notice there wasn't any people of color. Except for three Mexican, two of them standing next to us, one on the cash register. After she was being rude and didn't ask Luis to apologize for being disrespectful, and she didn't apologize. I called her a racist ass bitch, and she had the nerve to say don't say that to me. But it was ok for you and Luis to be disrespectful, and not apologize. Yes they were being racist, and that's why I called her out her name. She was worried about her scooter, not about the respect of her customers. My husband is a calm man. So I called her out her name to see if she wanted a response of acknowledgement of wrong doing. Worst walmart in Phoenix. I hate that this is the most convenient location for me. Every time I go I leave exhausted, shocked, or irritated. The bathrooms are always a riot-no supplies, gross, etc. I was using the sink while someone was essentially karate chopping and punching the paper towel dispenser. People shopping have approached me or harassed me inside and outside the store. Last time I went it looked like the zombie apocalypse had happened because the parking lot bomb had gone off with carts and trash littered everywhere. There were more carts in parking spots than cars. Also, this particular walmart only has the bare minimum of barely human cashiers open. I've waited 20+ minutes for a quick stop late at night.
