Walmart management allows pets into the store. Dog was seen walking with its owner through the food section the evening of 12/26/2018, then the rest of the store. Clearly not a service animal. Notified management, but they said it's not a priority. Called the police, they said they can't do anything because it's on private property. Customer service sucks here!! There's this manager named Josh (ironically) who has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. I tried to exchange some diapers that I received at baby's shower (size 1, for size 2) and he made a big deal about but having a receipt. What was even more laughable is when he asked "how do I even know they purchased it here?" Mind you it was a parents choice brand which I pointed out and then he said yea but it could've been from a different Walmart.. which makes absolutely no sense! Furthermore, when I returned on a separate visit to shop (nearest Walmart to my house) he just started me down and smirked and it was just uncomfortable being there. read more

Norterra location horrible the people are nice for the most part but the bathrooms are insane shit everywhere in big bathroom and paper towels and toilet paper all over floor day n night . I came to this Walmart to send money to Mexico. The experience was awful and disrespectful from the beginning. The woman who help (Anna) came into the register at the customer service area, with her phone, texting. She took around a minute to finish her personal message, but he told me to: "hold on, I am dealing with a friend that is freaking out" I ignored the comment and let her finish. I wanted to get my business done and leave. But at this point now answered a phone call and talked personal stuff in front of me. Had not acknowledgement yet. Then she's done, yells at me and gives me a very disrespectful and unhelpful answers. At the end she lied about the transaction. I proved that to the multiple managers that came to me and told the the story. Then they kept for an hour my id accusing me and screaming it was fake. All false and so denigrating. I called the cops to recovery my DL, and prove them what a racist awful human being they are. I got their names and pics so you know whom they are and don't interact with them. am highly disappointed in my experience today. Normally I use the delivery service since I have two 5 month old twins and a 9 yr old . It is hard to just get up and go to the store these days as a single mom. I have always had a good experience with it , but this time was different. My order was 45 min late , and I was not updated when the delivery was to arrive.(That's not the issue ) As I was sitting on my couch nursing one of the babies I was instantly stunned as my door handle began to turn multiple times . Luckily my door was locked. I called a Walmart manager where they informed me that they would talk to the driver and make sure it wouldn't happen again. The wal mart is always clean and well stocked. This review is about the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is so helpful and caring. They make you feel like they always have your best interest in mind. Its nice to walk up and give your name and the pharmacy tech already knows what you are there for. I was highly impressed. Errands this morning. I've always liked this Wal-Mart. Convenient location right off Happy Valley. Very clean store. Plenty of ample parking. Restrooms are clean. The employees have always been pleasant to me and helpful when I've had difficulty locating an item in the store. The self-check out stations are nice especially when you just have an item or three. We went to Walmart not by choice and saw this small kids seat look at it and saw the price on the shelf for $.98 we were thinking that seems to good to be true. We then brought that to the attention to the a store supervisor. Who then went on a tirade and said that they would not honor that price as someone may have moved it there. I said if it was one item maybe I would agree with that however when there are numerous items that is something else. They then contacted a assistant store mgr David who was as helpless as a deer in headlights. He too said they would not honor that price as our staff may have inadvertently placed these items in the wrong location. What ever happened to the customer was always right motto? I was a auto center worker and in all honesty don't go to this Walmart the managers will yell at you give you attitude, The main manager multiple times has said very sexual comments to me like when being trained ON MY FIRST DAY I was told "this is lube for the tire, this tire is a tight virgin and needs some lube for her first time" then on another occasion he's explaining to me about how in high school he would be getting sucked off by some girl he was with in school, on another occasion I had a turrets tick that caused me to cry and he just sat there and made fun of me saying I was making fun of him and if it continued I would be clocked out, another manager named Nick whom is the main manager has told me multiple times "make sure we glove up guys women don't like greasy titties" or on another occasion when nick was watching over as Petrie was training me and says "hand him the device you can't show a man how to jerk off you can only watch him and tell him if he's doing it right or that'd be gay right" all of these comments were made by This very Walmarts AAC management, i do not recommend coming to this Walmart to get your tires done they will not respect your time or you as a customer to them you are one of 30 people they'll see today for an oil change/tire job/ etc. DO NOT COME HERE TO HAVE WORK ON YOUR CAR. It's a super Walmart. I like it. I like the self checkout. The customer service is kind of slow most of the time. It's like they don't want to be there and move like turtles oftentimes. They need to realize people are happier when they work faster (or at least look like they are working fast). Also, a lot of times the employees don't know enough and have to leave the desk to ask managers questions. Lack of training? Lack of knowledge retention? It's something. Fresh rotisserie chicken there. Cheaper than the grocery store and I don't have to hope for a sale. Online order pickups is sometimes slow and unattended in the back. Photo Center is the most unorganized and has the rudest people. I have an order that is missing, they cant find it and have a oh well to bad attitude. I received a text and email saying it was ready for pick up. Ok go in they can't find it, Christopher was NO help and rude with 15 years of Wal-Mart service. Then I get a call at 9:30pm that night from an associate your order is ready for pickup I said oh you found it the response "I guess" but we closed at 9pm... Then why the hell are you calling me at 9:30pm. Go in the next day because this is a gift to go out in the mail for Christmas! I noticed this store sells fireworks and I'm from Chicago where it's illegal so I got real happy when I saw that. I brought my car there to get a new battery because it died. I arrived shortly after opening and I assume the employee working (short white guy with short blonde hair) was just feeling tired and lazy as it took him 10 min to greet me before he assured me my battery was "perfectly fine" and that he "wasn't going to make me spend money I didn't need to" well fast forward a day later and I'm stranded on the side of the road in 115 degree heat thanks to your employee. Maybe Walmart should review who's working where in the store because someone who can't do a simple battery check on a machine that does it for them should be stocking shelves inside, not working on cars. read more

Auto Center: This is my favorite Walmart! The auto center here is really great. I had blown out my tire on the 17 at 7:30 in the morning. I took my donut here and they took care of me really quickly. Went to Walmart a couple of weeks ago and looked and saw no one in line. so I started to duck under the tape when the man said no to enter down at the end so when I got up there I asked why. Every time I enter a Walmart I die a little inside. My main complaint is with the optical department. I was there waiting for an Rx to be filled, decided to browse the glasses and the 23 year old that probably lives in his mothers basement offered to tighten up my glasses (that I was wearing). Really, he brought it up, then when asked said it was going to be free. All he did was take them into the back room, they did stay up better....but then, literally less than 5 minutes later said it would be $5.00. Long story short I choose to pay since I feared security was going to hassle me on the way out. Additionally I do not see why people say Walmart is so cheap. Really, occasionally I find good bargains but I can find prices just as good in many other stores. read more

This Wal-mart I would say, is one of the nicest ones around. The landscape company that their management uses does a great job at keeping the outside looking awesome and well preserved. The store itself is pleasant, the wife and I have been visiting this Wal-mart, since we moved out here to Phoenix and have gone out of our way to come to this store. The weirdo level is lower than all the other Wal-marts around the valley, so it is a little bit more comfortable for us normal folks to shop at. A big plus is that our bank is located inside the store, so it makes it easier to blow your paycheck. read more

Hard to find a WalMart that is constantly clean and well stocked. This is one of them. I think alot has to do with the neighborhood it is in. Norterra area is really not the "hood" - so I think it lends itself to the clientele. Don't expect to find the "people of WalMart" type here. Let's face it, WalMart saves us money - and allows for instant gratification for our shopping needs. I could spend hours in a Super WalMart, as every turn will remind me of something I need or have wanted. Batteries, Games, TV's, Clothing, Flip Flops, Groceries, Plants, Rope, etc. LOST STAR = Stay away from the produce - I think this is true at any Walmart. Unless you are using it that evening, it just isn't "fresh". The meat is also borderline, we get ours from a local competitor grocery store. read more

I love this walmart, the only reason it's not 5 star for me is because it's really hard to maneuver with 12 week old twins and they don't stock very much of the formula I use. So i end up going to an additional grocery store to get what I need. and by not stocking much, I mean even if I only had one baby. I use similac neosure because my babies were born prematurely. They typically don't have more than a few cans... The staff is nice and clean, and so are the people shopping here. It's very clean and always busy. I make the drive from the moon valley area so you know thay're doing something right! read more

So, I should know better than run for a 'quick trip' to Walmart. Especially at night. Ugh. Every aisle was blocked by huge pallets of stuff. I get that they stock at night, but I should be able to navigate the main aisles without feeling like I just competed in a downhill slalom. I'm convinced that whoever laid this place out has ADD. School supplies? Try stationary. Oops, no, not by the cards, silly... Back of the store, between craft stuff and chips. Yeah, we used to keep that right up front, but then you'd miss all this other fabulous stuff. After trekking from one end of the store and back again, and then asking for help and being dragged across the store again, I was ready to make a break for the exit. But I couldn't. Because apparently, the door that I parked in front of is no longer accessible at 10 pm. Because, ??? No clue. So back across the store, then across the parking lot. Oh, and they turn the lights off on that side of the parking lot. That's safe. Thankfully, I only ran in to an 83 year old veteran looking for money. read more

This complaint is about a specific worker- a tall guy with a shaved head that works in the pharmacy & large ear gauges. Avoid him if you can. I had to deal with twice & each time, it seemed like everything was an inconvenience for him. I was picking up a couple of prescriptions for an eye procedure- and one of the prescriptions weren't ready. I was trying to figure out the best way to checkout the ones that were ready & either come back for the last one or send that one to a different pharmacy, or whatever my options were to obtain it. He only kept offering problems instead of helping me find a solution- so I was trying to navigate my different options & it was like pulling teeth. Finally, he realizes that the prescription that wasn't in stock- he had 1 bottle of it (my script asked for 2) so we realize that I can at least get 1 bottle now while we wait for the 2nd one to come in stock. He then informs me how "expensive" it was- which did not change the fact that I still needed it. It was almost like he didn't want to go through the hassle of preparing the order & would've rather me just cancel it. So I'm like "okay well I still need it" so check me out with the one that's ready & then he said the 2nd one would be ready in like 2 days. I go back later, and I give him my date of birth & he's just rudely like "I see nothing that you would have to pick up." A normal person would be like "oh what are you picking up? When did you drop it off, let's see if I can find it, etc". So I reminded him that he was the one that checked me out, I had to instruct to him to look at my history & then he kind of rolled his eyes like "oh yeah I remember but you only wanted the other meds." So I'm like no, I still needed the meds that weren't ready- and you told me when the 2nd one was going to be here so clearly I was still needing it. He seems annoyed that he was going to have to go prepare it after all, so I just said, I'll pick it up tomorrow. I'm so glad that I went back another day- he was there but I checked out with a different girl who was soo helpful! She let me know that there was a coupon site that could lower the price- I asked her about goodrx & she told me that I can search for a coupon on there but that she probably has a better one from a different site. Originally I paid $88 for the eye drops, and this time, I found a coupon on goodrx to lower it to $27 and she found one that lowered it to $17.00! While I was thrilled, I was also so mad that he didn't inform me of that- especially when he took out the time to inform me how expensive it was. Then again, I feel like he mentioned that to deter me from even processing the order at all. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a refund for his lack of help, but thankfully was helped by a much more concerned worker. read more
