A group of employees huddled in a group in the entire main aisle and then decided to all walk in a way that it blocks anyone from passing them, so I had to say excuse me very loudly because one female employee a little older with black hair saw me and didn't care but continued walking in my path going towards me seeing I was struggling with the big moving boxes I was carrying acting like she was gonna bump into me. Please get your employees in check before the customers start getting them in line. The old man at door saw I came from the self check out and that I was still struggling to carry the four cardboard moving boxes yet still decided to stop and take a picture of my receipt and the boxes as if I would go out of my way to steal $2 boxes and then got an attitude after I told him how many boxes i had after HE ASKED ME how many I had. The only nice lady was a shorter white woman with longer gray hair and bangs, dark brown eyes, and I believe glasses she was the only nice one. Won't be shopping here again, I'd rather pay more at target and be treated better. Sloppy service. read more

I have attempted to put this review on Walmart.com but it indicates I have been 'opted out'. I purchased Binax covid tests online to pick up at store. Good product. Product is FIVE STARS, online shopping experience is ONE STAR. Online order Sunday 8/27/23 with Store pickup on Monday 8/28/23 around 2pm. I am reviewing to caution other online shoppers to ALWAYS scroll down before adding ANY item to their WalMart cart because the NOTICE if something is not returnable isn't visible unless you do. I picked up my order on the way out of town, and only later saw that the expiration dates were all close enough that I NEVER would have purchased the same amount of tests had I been shopping in-store. So I clicked 'start a return' on my online receipt and only then found out I had purchased something non-refundable. I immediately tried to look at the item on the site to learn how I could have missed this, and the item was no longer online. Very aggravating, and doesn't inspire trust in WalMart. The customer service person emailing me about this (called a 'coach' for some reason) mentioned where the 'non-returnable' notice was, so last night I went back to the website to check. Surprise, the Binax tests are posted again! So I walked through putting one in my cart without ordering. It's possible to add one to your cart, get a confirmation page re: that, and go to your cart to checkout without EVER SEEING the notice- if you don't scroll down. If you're familiar with a product as I was with this test, you have no need to scroll down. (screenshots available). The notice is in small print and is seriously less than obvious. I consider this an expensive lesson in online shopping (most of these will likely go unused), and will avoid WalMart as much as possible in the future. read more

I usually come to this Walmart, if I absolutely have to. This one particular night I was shopping alone, when I noticed an older tall, white man with tattoos that cover up to his neck watching & following a group of three girls. As I noticed, he noticed me watching him & abruptly turned around and said, "you got a problem?" I responded, "yes. I've noticed you walking around following this group of little girls" to where he responded "I'm an undercover shopper why don't you mind your own fucking business and quit interfering with other people." I responded, "excuse me? You're following three little girls, wearing jeans and a plain black T-shirt, who would look at you & just assume you're an undercover shopper?!" He then got on his radio & said, "yeah I need back up, I have a little girl trying to disrupt and interfere with my job" WOW is all I can say, with how high trafficking has been you would think there would be appreciation, or even an apology for the poor misunderstanding- but even after the floor manager came, noticed me visibly upset there was no apology, he refused to give me either his, or his employees name. The guy is about 6'3 or so, white, bigger built, wears jeans three sizes too small & has tattoos on his neck. I've been back to this location a couple of times, and see him working as an undercover each time. Horrible experience, especially shopping alone as a woman at darker hours. read more

Walmart management allows pets into the store. Dog was seen walking with its owner through the food section the evening of 12/26/2018, then the rest of the store. Clearly not a service animal. Notified management, but they said it's not a priority. Called the police, they said they can't do anything because it's on private property. The wal mart is always clean and well stocked. This review is about the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is so helpful and caring. They make you feel like they always have your best interest in mind. Its nice to walk up and give your name and the pharmacy tech already knows what you are there for. I was highly impressed. Customer service sucks here!! There's this manager named Josh (ironically) who has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. I tried to exchange some diapers that I received at baby's shower (size 1, for size 2) and he made a big deal about but having a receipt. What was even more laughable is when he asked "how do I even know they purchased it here?" Mind you it was a parents choice brand which I pointed out and then he said yea but it could've been from a different Walmart.. which makes absolutely no sense! Errands this morning. I've always liked this Wal-Mart. Convenient location right off Happy Valley. Very clean store. Plenty of ample parking. Restrooms are clean. The employees have always been pleasant to me and helpful when I've had difficulty locating an item in the store. The self-check out stations are nice especially when you just have an item or three. am highly disappointed in my experience today. Normally I use the delivery service since I have two 5 month old twins and a 9 yr old . It is hard to just get up and go to the store these days as a single mom. I have always had a good experience with it , but this time was different. My order was 45 min late , and I was not updated when the delivery was to arrive.(That's not the issue ) As I was sitting on my couch nursing one of the babies I was instantly stunned as my door handle began to turn multiple times . Luckily my door was locked. I called a Walmart manager where they informed me that they would talk to the driver and make sure it wouldn't happen again. We went to Walmart not by choice and saw this small kids seat look at it and saw the price on the shelf for $.98 we were thinking that seems to good to be true. We then brought that to the attention to the a store supervisor. Who then went on a tirade and said that they would not honor that price as someone may have moved it there. I said if it was one item maybe I would agree with that however when there are numerous items that is something else. They then contacted a assistant store mgr David who was as helpless as a deer in headlights. He too said they would not honor that price as our staff may have inadvertently placed these items in the wrong location. What ever happened to the customer was always right motto? I was a auto center worker and in all honesty don't go to this Walmart the managers will yell at you give you attitude, The main manager multiple times has said very sexual comments to me like when being trained ON MY FIRST DAY I was told "this is lube for the tire, this tire is a tight virgin and needs some lube for her first time" then on another occasion he's explaining to me about how in high school he would be getting sucked off by some girl he was with in school, on another occasion I had a turrets tick that caused me to cry and he just sat there and made fun of me saying I was making fun of him and if it continued I would be clocked out, another manager named Nick whom is the main manager has told me multiple times "make sure we glove up guys women don't like greasy titties" or on another occasion when nick was watching over as Petrie was training me and says "hand him the device you can't show a man how to jerk off you can only watch him and tell him if he's doing it right or that'd be gay right" all of these comments were made by This very Walmarts AAC management, i do not recommend coming to this Walmart to get your tires done they will not respect your time or you as a customer to them you are one of 30 people they'll see today for an oil change/tire job/ etc. DO NOT COME HERE TO HAVE WORK ON YOUR CAR. It's a super Walmart. I like it. I like the self checkout. The customer service is kind of slow most of the time. It's like they don't want to be there and move like turtles oftentimes. They need to realize people are happier when they work faster (or at least look like they are working fast). Also, a lot of times the employees don't know enough and have to leave the desk to ask managers questions. Lack of training? Lack of knowledge retention? It's something. Fresh rotisserie chicken there. Cheaper than the grocery store and I don't have to hope for a sale. Online order pickups is sometimes slow and unattended in the back. But eventually someone comes and gets my item. read more

Photo Center is the most unorganized and has the rudest people. I have an order that is missing, they cant find it and have a oh well to bad attitude. I received a text and email saying it was ready for pick up. Ok go in they can't find it, Christopher was NO help and rude with 15 years of Wal-Mart service. Then I get a call at 9:30pm that night from an associate your order is ready for pickup I said oh you found it the response "I guess" but we closed at 9pm... Then why the hell are you calling me at 9:30pm. Go in the next day because this is a gift to go out in the mail for Christmas! Heather can not find my order are you serious I received a call last night saying it was here for pick up! My order is still MIA The entire photo center is a hot disorganized mess. Everything was clean here for the most part. I didn't get to interact with any of the employees but they all seemed to be smiling at me and other customers. I noticed this store sells fireworks and I'm from Chicago where it's illegal so I got real happy when I saw that. I brought my car there to get a new battery because it died. I arrived shortly after opening and I assume the employee working (short white guy with short blonde hair) was just feeling tired and lazy as it took him 10 min to greet me before he assured me my battery was "perfectly fine" and that he "wasn't going to make me spend money I didn't need to" well fast forward a day later and I'm stranded on the side of the road in 115 degree heat thanks to your employee. Maybe Walmart should review who's working where in the store because someone who can't do a simple battery check on a machine that does it for them should be stocking shelves inside, not working on cars. read more

Every time I enter a Walmart I die a little inside. My main complaint is with the optical department. I was there waiting for an Rx to be filled, decided to browse the glasses and the 23 year old that probably lives in his mothers basement offered to tighten up my glasses (that I was wearing). Really, he brought it up, then when asked said it was going to be free. All he did was take them into the back room, they did stay up better....but then, literally less than 5 minutes later said it would be $5.00. Long story short I choose to pay since I feared security was going to hassle me on the way out. Additionally I do not see why people say Walmart is so cheap. This Wal-mart I would say, is one of the nicest ones around. The landscape company that their management uses does a great job at keeping the outside looking awesome and well preserved. The store itself is pleasant, the wife and I have been visiting this Wal-mart, since we moved out here to Phoenix and have gone out of our way to come to this store. The weirdo level is lower than all the other Wal-marts around the valley, so it is a little bit more comfortable for us normal folks to shop at. A big plus is that our bank is located inside the store, so it makes it easier to blow your paycheck. read more

Hard to find a WalMart that is constantly clean and well stocked. This is one of them. I think alot has to do with the neighborhood it is in. Norterra area is really not the "hood" - so I think it lends itself to the clientele. Don't expect to find the "people of WalMart" type here. Let's face it, WalMart saves us money - and allows for instant gratification for our shopping needs. I could spend hours in a Super WalMart, as every turn will remind me of something I need or have wanted. Batteries, Games, TV's, Clothing, Flip Flops, Groceries, Plants, Rope, etc. LOST STAR = Stay away from the produce - I think this is true at any Walmart. Unless you are using it that evening, it just isn't "fresh". The meat is also borderline, we get ours from a local competitor grocery store. read more

I love this walmart, the only reason it's not 5 star for me is because it's really hard to maneuver with 12 week old twins and they don't stock very much of the formula I use. So i end up going to an additional grocery store to get what I need. and by not stocking much, I mean even if I only had one baby. I use similac neosure because my babies were born prematurely. They typically don't have more than a few cans... The staff is nice and clean, and so are the people shopping here. It's very clean and always busy. I make the drive from the moon valley area so you know thay're doing something right! read more
