I wanted to share some well-deserved praise for Esmeralda C at the Plano Walmart Supercenter on Coit Road. I was having a really hard time finding where an item was located in the store. While everyone I asked beforehand was very kind and helpful, Esmeralda truly went above and beyond. Even though she was very busy working in a completely different department, she took the time to walk with me and help me search. She did not give up until we finally found it. The entire staff at this store is friendly, but Esmeraldas extra effort and amazing attitude really made my day. Kudos to Esmeralda. Walmart is very very lucky to have her on their team. read more

Fabulous because this is one of the rare Walmart Supercenters in the metro Dallas area that tolerates overnight parking. I arrived after 10:00 pm so I didn't have a need to shop in the evening, but they open at 6:00 am. Super easy to pop in that early when the store is almost empty to pick up a few things from well stocked shelves and not have to deal with the People of Walmart. Clean, bright, no trash on the floor at this time of day. Prices clearly marked and the self-checkout worked well. The men's room was actually clean and fully stocked. This is definitely my favorite Walmart location, since it's a 3-way stop of Sam's, Walmart, and Central Market! Recently I've been doing a pick up on my groceries and want to give a shout out to two different young men who delivered groceries to my car, who had the best attitude. And in this current environment and lack of service. It was such a pleasure to have someone be polite and courteous, along with being conscientious about my purchases. This walmart supercenter isn't super at all. Stopped by to get dog food for my 3 dogs. When I went to the back of the store, there was a new vendor who was handing out coupons for their new dog food product. He asked me if I wanted to try it. I said, "sure." He & I walked down the aisle to get a bag of the dog food but they were sold out. He told me that he would run to the stockroom to grab a bag of the dog food for me. He came back empty-handed and said, "The guys in the back don't know where it is." So, I requested a store manager to find out where the new dog food was located. A few minutes later, a woman walked over to me. I asked, "Are you the store manager?" She replied, "No, he's in a meeting." Isn't it curious? Managers are routinely unavailable & consistently in meetings! She said, "I'm in loss prevention." ??? I asked her if she could locate the new promotional dog food item in their stockroom for me. She said, "No, I don't know where it is." Unusual response! She hadn't even tried to go look for it. But, she already "knew" that she didn't know where the dog food was. I'm not sure if the loss prevention lady was just lazy or incompetent. There were many other walmart employees who were just standing around. If she didn't know, someone else was sure to or could possibly take the time to go look for it. However, customer service is non-existent in most walmarts in 2026. That's just a fact. The customer rings up their own items since only one paid cashier still exists. The customer bags their own items & carries their purchases out to the car. The employees just stand around & stare. If the customer asks the employees a question, I DON'T KNOW is the standard response. Either they aren't trained properly by management or the employees just don't care. Their direct deposit will still be paid to them regardless of their lack of initiative. The employees don't extend any effort in assisting the customers at all. Why should they? Obviously, standing around chatting with co-workers is what they are paid to do. So...the "managers" hide in the back office. The employees stand around & stare. They have no concept of a business model that puts the customer first b/c they will get paid whether they offer customer service or not! The loss prevention lady flatly refused to send anyone to locate the dog food in the stockroom and/or go herself. So, I left. Let them keep their lousy dog food. Do not shop walmart...any walmart. It appears that they are changing the aisles to be perpendicular in relation to the front instead of when they might have been parallel before in the Home Goods side of the store. read more

Over the years I have been to dozens and dozens of Walmarts, but never have I come across a store that is noticeably a cut above the rest. More specifically, the staff are just top-notch. The head of the apparel department, Maria (think that's her name), Was so kind and helpful and genuinely seemed to enjoy doing the work that she does. Not to knock Walmart in general, but you typically do not see that level of enthusiasm or intentionality from the employees. Been visiting this location for some time, and I'm a fan of how much better it is than the average Walmart people typically envision. The main pro for me? Just 3 words: Abundant. Self. Checkout. There are 10 or so self check out lanes that are always open, so it doesn't matter too much how many cashiers are working if you need to get in and out quickly. Other pros: -The aisles are on the wider side, allowing for carts to be easily maneuvered. -It's really clean compared to the average Walmart. -It's never really super busy and open 24/7 so you can make an emergency trip whenever you need to. Cons? I can't really think of any besides the typical cons associated with Walmart. I'm definitely making my way back here whenever I need to go to Walmart to pick up supplies or food quickly and cheaply. read more

I cant say ive ever had a good experience shopping at this walmart but after my two most recent visits..A couple weeks ago I was doing my grocery shopping and almost got run over by multiple employees who were doing online orders or restocking. This time I asked a woman who was restocking in clothes if she could tell me where the lighters were. First she said she didn't know what a lighter was, then promptly and rudely informed me that she couldn't help me since it wasn't where she was working. I then asked someone I passed in toys where they were and they VERY EASILY AND QUICKLY informed me they were at the front. I didn't ask to be shown or hand held as I walked over, all I wanted to know was WHERE. Not to mention the shelves are always in disarray no matter what day or time I go. Unfortunately I'm too broke to shop elsewhere so I'll just have to avoid this particular store! read more

DISGUSTED Incident 25 th November 2020 9-915 pm Your premises are equipped with CCTV's. Member of Sams club Receipts & warranty to be attached upon request. Wednesday around 9-915 am on the 25 th Nov ( day before Thanks giving ) I arrived to your depot and was asked by the oriental gentlemen at the Customer Service Desk in the Auto department what I was here for ? I told him for a Flat tyre repair, also being very specific in informing him that my car needed to be pulled into the Bay Area as soon as possible or the tyre would go flat. I was informed by him and a little later by the Auto Department Manager on site Mr James Employee No 6219, that not to worry they will take care of the issue.and I don't need to worry about it, again specifically saying as I did on entering the depot that it's better to drive my car to the bay as the tyre will go flat, bearing in mind there was only one other customer who was having a oil change, so the bays were empty, which you can check on your cctv footage. So he reassured me they would adhere to my suggestion of putting the car on the bay. I handed over my car keys to the manager James Employee No 6219, and went about doing my grocery shopping in the store to kill time. Upon returning to the depot 45 minutes later to pick up my car , as it usually takes half a hour, upon reaching the depot counter I noticed that my car was still where I had left it and not in the bay as I had asked them to do before handing my keys over ( again you can see yourself on the CCTV footage ) When I questioned the said manager whose customer services attitude changed and is truly to be desired, replied "we are taking care of it " 9.15 am I got there now it's way past 10 am and I do have a job to get too !!!! So as I was frustrated as felt time had been wasted I questioned the said manager saying that customers who came in after me for Oil changes or Battery replacement were being attended to, and there's my car still waiting to get on the bay to check my flat tyre ? I was then conveniently told by the so called manager who had no regard for my value of time wasted , " That Oil changes and Batteries take less time !! " but we will take care of your tyre issue ... so now 1 hour 30 mins later my car was finally pulled onto the bay ( bearing in mind on my arrival to the depot I stipulated to the guys at customer service and the so called manager, that it would be beneficial to put my car on the bay as the tyre will deflate !!!!! Yes the TYRE WAS FLAT !!!and they drove it on the bay, 26 mins later an African American technicians informs me that my tyre has a cut and cannot be repaired? And has to be replaced. To top all the above off I was under the impression that my Road hazard warranty would take care of it ? which I was informed by this tech that it would be...but sadly after another wait of 20 mins the Technician comes back to me to inform me that my Tyre thread is low, so I have to pay the difference on the new tyre. at this particular point you can appreciate I was really irritated, and I told him , then why wasn't this information told to me when I purchased the tyres from you last month ? ( receipts upon request ) James the so called manager insisted that it should of been explained to me when you purchased the tyres .. which I can assure you it was not. Bizarrely the so called manager himself and the technician were whom I purchased the tyres from. Sadly my experience on day was appalling The Auto department experience at this Coit location and the annoyance of the blasé attitude from the service I've received is abysmal, when in fact instead of accommodating your customers your blatantly dismissing any customer service whatsoever. I pleaded with them to work on my car as the car is my source of income in my profession. Sadly your organisation lost me valuable working hours and money, in such times hard as they are. I have always been loyal to Walmart using your services being Petrol, the supermarket, car maintenance. Evidently on this occasion I realised am not part of the Walmart loyalty customer group. Sadly the service I received on the 25 th November 2020 was despicable. This establishment auto center refused to honor the 1 year warranty on my car battery. I explained to them that the car was inspected due to it not starting and the repair garage told me it was the batter and that even when charging it, the charge wouldn't hold. Walmart charged it and deemed it good and that if it happened again just drive the car to their location. But someone explain how can I drive a car when the battery is dead???? read more

My car caught 2 flats so I had it towed to this location. They have a sign that says they guarantee tires within 48 hours. Unfortunately they do not support that message. After 48 hours I called and was told the tires will be there the next day. Everyday I call there's a new delivery date or the system is down. I tried to speak to the store manager Rinada but she has never returned my message. The area manger George (479)544-8125 does not return calls either. The one time I spoke with him he promised I'd have tires "the next day" but he stopped responding. I've been without a car for a week with no apology or an offered resolution. I've called the customer service corporate line 2 times and they couldn't help me either. Which was unfortunate because I held on the phone over an hour both times. Yes, I'm giving this place a 1 star and even that is being generous. Against my better judgement, I went to Walmart instead of Target last week and got some bad shrimp from the Sherman location and took the package to this location for a refund. Well the manager on duty, Stacy, decided she wasn't going to honor Walmarts Great Value policy which is to bring in the actual PACKAGE for a refund or exchange. After her and my husband have a couple of words, then she proceeds to say "You can get an exchange." The key word here is the shrimps PACKAGE and that's what I brought in. Mind you I have a receipt also but she would not honor what Is clearly written on the back of the bag. Long story short, I will not shop at Walmart again and will continue to shop where I am valued and respected, Target. It took almost 5 weeks to get my first pairs of glasses (I ordered 3). They gave me headaches, blurred vision and didn't work, so I returned to eyedoctor who re-examed me and looked at the glasses and said they were wrong and needed to be remade. The progressives were all in the wrong location and they never asked to see my old glasses before measuring. The changed the progressive and the lens material and after another 10 days I went to pick up the new glasses. Again, totally mismeasured, couldn't see out of the reading portion except in one spot. When I went to pick them up, was told only 2 pair were ready even though all 3 were in the tray. The department is grossly under staffed and most are not trained correctly. When I tried to return them, it was another almost 50 minute wait, and then the rep didnt know how to do the return, and the store manager also fumbled. so, after watching them make numerous mistakes for 15 more minutes left to await optical manager. They say their prices are competetive but when I returned to my previous location, I again ordered the same 3 pairs and paid less than 50% of what Walmart charged. I greatly appreciated her help but mostly it was her customer service. She definitely needs to be in managemen. I was offended by my online order. I was buying stuff for Thanksgiving. The delivery person came and brought me 3 types of milk that I didn't order. I was buying this on a ebt card and the lady got everything wrong!! Walmart was offering delivery to help for the holidays. Yesterday I shopped for paint on walmart.com and determined ColorPlace Ultra at $17.94 per gallon is what I need. In the evening I purchased a gallon of the ColorPlace paint along with some home and grocery items. When I got home I looked at the receipt to find I was charged $19.84 for the paint. Today I returned to the same Walmart and a customer service representative told me they do not match prices on THEIR website. If you decide to purchase an item in a Walmart store that you found on their website, be prepared that you may pay more than the advertised price. Just left here after being asked "did you scan that" followed by "How much?" Before I could answer there was a Walmart employee reaching into my cart scanning an item she had just witnessed me purchase with my receipt in hand. I asked another employee why did that happen and the same employee came and scanned the same item again without a word then left. The part that's really not sitting me with is that this exact situation happened at a different Walmart. I've tried calling and speaking to speak to someone who can explain this to me but I've been unable to get my phone call answered. I just want to why? Why did she seeing me purchase and scan all items didn't matter? Why did having my receipt not visible matter? Why did she feel the need to double check that I purchased an item correctly? Walmart checkout was horrific! They had three registers open at 11:00am on a Saturday (WEEKEND BEFORE SCHOOL starts). One cashier didn't know what she was doing people were leaving her lane to go wait in another. They finally opened another lane and it helped but not enough. As WalMarts go, this one is almost always quite clean and well stocked. It was one of the first in our area to go through the most recent remodel, with wider aisles and bright blue and yellow colors. I also like that the pharmacy department is on the same side of the store as the grocery, so you can save a bit of walking if you just need items from those areas. I *don't* like that WalMart is pushing their store brand (Great Value) more and more, and pushing out some of the name brand selections, but that's not a knock on this particular store (it's chainwide). This store is located in a good part of town and the parking lot is well lit, so late night drop-ins are not a problem at all. If you think all WalMarts are dirty and poorly stocked, this one will change your mind. Give it a try! read more

Just will primarily review the customer service. We came to the location Friday evening to pick up 40 4x6 photos that we were informed were ready the day before. We went straight to the Photo Center of course and surprise surprise, there was nobody there. They close at 8pm and we were there around 6:45pm so it's not like it was closing time or anything like that. So okay, no biggie. We proceeded to start looking for staff there to help. We found one person and she seemed like she was in a hurry to go somewhere and said "okay I'll find you someone!" Tick tock tick tock. 10-15 minutes later. Nothing. So I decided to go look for someone. Firstly just around a healthy radius (distance-wise) from the Photo Center. Not a one in sight. I saw two guys (who looked like they worked there?) just talking with each other. I mean.. how dare I think they worked there right? They only wore Walmart staff clothes.. I waited at end of aisle just staring straight at them for like 30 seconds straight to see if they would even acknowledge me or make an attempt to help. Nothing. I guess when you're at work at this Walmart, you just go there and chat with each other and avoid helping customers as much as possible? Seems so. I walked around more to see if I could find someone but nobody in sight. Then I walked all the way to the front of the store where the cashiers were. No one was manning any visible cash register that I saw. I did notice an (Asian?) lady dressed in yellow (like she's the manager on-duty?). She was actually working and busy so I didn't want to impose. I kept walking and still nobody in sight to help. I then walked back to the Photo Center (all this time, probably 20 minutes have passed). Oh and by the way, I went with someone else so she was there all this time. So it's not like I walked away and may have missed a staff that came by to Photo Center. Then I decided to try something. How about I call Walmart while I'm in the store and see if I can get some help. I called Walmart. Dialed 0 to talk to an associate. Associate picked up and I said "hi, just wondering if someone can help me at the Photo Center? i've been waiting here for past almost 30 minutes to pick up some photos". She said she'll have someone there right away and sure enough, that Asian lady in yellow (manager-like) came by and started helping us. She didn't know what to do since it's not her area so another Indian lady came by to help about a minute later. The ONLY reason that I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star was because we did eventually get someone who actually helped us. The (Asian?) lady and the Indian lady. And when they helped us, it was courteous and swift. For the rest of the staff working at Walmart (at least during that time), you might as well just not have been there at all because that was the amount of actual customer service you provided. I've worked in the customer service industry before so I can empathize with dealing with customers. This is why I'm always courteous and give them benefit of the doubt as much as I can. But not being at your station or showing zero interest to help is just deceptive. You're not working there.. you're just occupying space and making money doing it. My negative review is I regard to a return issue. I bought some hair accessories same day I bought a cover for the steering wheel for my truck. I got out to the parking lot, saw the cover was too big, returned it right then. Got my money back for the steering wheel cover-nothing else was retired, only that. Left. Forward a couple 7 weeks and the hair accessories I bought to put gemstones on, snapped and the hair bands weren't going to work despite how pretty they are. Brought everything back in and I could only return 2 of the 3 hair bands because they were already returned. Say what? No, they are right here-I have them in front of you, I never returned them. They said they would check the tape. I went and picked up some dental floss, eyebrow pencil and looked through the hair accessories to see if there was something else I could use. All the while being checked out. So here's the deal...I didn't return that stuff, so, if it was in fact returned, you need to check the employee who took back the steering wheel cover because they pulled a fast one. I never received any money other than for the steering cover and telling me the drawers weren't over, doesn't check out:logically, if I am in possession of the items you said were returned, doesn't it make sense that maybe you could have some in house theft to look into? Just saying. Now back to the hair clips-I adore them but they snapped. Also before they snapped, I was looking to purchase as many as possible so I asked an employee there how I could order them:online says only available in store. No one knew. Not the 2 employees I tracked down, not the manager in that Dep't, not the team up front in returns-no one. Found out later, sure, just ask a manager. Lastly, I would like to mention the year I came up here, so sick I ended up having to stay an extra 2 weeks. I had my medications called in to Walmart and I almost lost my mind trying to navigate that mess. Then I moved up here because I ended up being sick long term and was getting my prescriptions filled there...not once did it go smooth. Still don't know why-was it because my thyroid scripts were coming from Austin? I have a severe bends injury that periodically I receive tramadol for-I rarely use it so I wait until I really need it to fill it...helps me when the weather changed and my body feels like it's shredding apart from pressure. Not one time-I mean, not ONCE in 2 years, did I get that medication before a week or 2 weeks. They consistently blamed mySr in Austin-several times while I was on the phone with my Dr there. Not once. Unneeded suffering and if you have ever had the bends, you would understand how absurd it was to hold that prescription. No idea why. I finally bailed on them and went somewhere else where not one single time have I had an issue. So that's sort of my take on the place. Cashiers are always very nice. Their GM seems on the ball. I have no personal issues with customer service-as in;no rudeness or anything but this visit with the receipt is bothering me because I am wondering if this was something done often at the expense of a customer like myself. read more

Crespin did a superior job with my passport photos. He was conscientious get efficient, Getting the background set up and processing me within 10 minutes. I was very impressed with the quality of his work in the timeliness with which he served me. The Walmart overall is probably a three star but the photo department under Crespin's watch is definitely five stars all the way. read more
