I use this location because at the Walmart on Garland Road and the Bush Freeway someone has tried to rob me twice! So I decided to play it safe and go to this Plano location. I go there for paper products and can goods. Also, I enjoy the cleanliness of this store, and the selection of merchandise. I don't however enjoy the majority of the personnel. Some walk around like zombies because they are too busy on their cell phones to pay attention to where they are walking, so you have to be overly cautious steering your cart. When they aren't on the phone, a lot of them are standing around talking and not paying attention to how they jam up the isles. And the majority of the checkers have a bad understanding of the English language! Today I went to self-check because there was only one register open, and the man doing the checking was slower than molasses in the middle of winter. When I approached the self check counter a man, once again with a poor understanding of English, told me to go to the large check out counters. (FYI - my cart was not that full and that is why I choose this option.). I explained to him that I could do a faster job and didn't want to use the big checkout area. There was quite a discussion about this which made me want to leave the cart and go somewhere else. But I didn't. I'll go back to this store, but next time this happens I will be calling management to the front. Came to Walmart to do an exchange on my propane tanks. No one was working that area. Asked for help as I walked to the front and was told to go to customer service. Decided not to go wait in line for that so came across a threesome of employees. Was told the same thing. One of the three said she would help. So relieved. She found Jose M. who has been there for 10 years. He took over and got us the help we needed. Then he went outside and waited for us to load up the tanks. This Walmart happens to be the Walmart that is the most convenient for me. At least I thought. Because of its location and hours. Well location anyway. Okay. My first experience with this store was a phone call. I needed to return a battery I had bought at a different location. When asked them for automotive dept. They told me that they didn't have an automotive dept I had to call a Supercenter?? So Being new to the area, I thought that they were just a small grocery Walmart that they do have here in Plano Texas. For months I was paying high prices at the convenience store or Uber going to a much farther location. Then I decided to take a walk to that Walmart down the road . The little one. To my utter surprise it WAS and IS A FULL SIZED STORE! So okay I'm a pretty laid back dude so I let roll of my back. The there is so much wrong with the people who are working at this store. I mean it is a personal thing. I thought it was odd when sometimes they would halve exactly what I needed for a extreme price. Right no because it was always just a few dollars more than I happened to have? The Employees at most all the Walmart's I've been to where always cool. Just your average family guys and gals from the neighborhood. This place is like out of a Steven King novel ! The accociates avoid any kind of assistance. When I ask someone on the floor where something is. The actually point me in the opposite direction. And these are grown adults! Supervisors Ten times worse OH ! Not to mention NO APPLE PAY! I usually come to this Walmart and I'm happy, but today(when I really needed help), they fell flat. The ice storm gave me cabin fever, so I ran to Wal-Mart to get a few necessities. After spending $250 in the store, I came out to a flat tire in the parking lot :( Inside, the automotive section of the store was closed. I waited for customer service to answer the little push button, and that never happened. My mom asked the guy in electronics to get someone to help us, and he called, but no one ever responded. We then went to the customer service desk, they said no one could help us, and we should call AAA. Triple A said they could get to me in 4 hours. Ridiculous! My 68 year old mom was with me, she slipped on the ice, and was crying in my car. She had already hurt her tail bone 2 weeks ago, so this aggravated it. I guess it's sad because I remember when Walmart was helpful(I know that was years ago). My mom called the store crying and basically begged them to send someone out to help us. About 10 minutes later a girl came and pushed my car while I steered it. We got it into a good spot, and hopefully I can deal with it tomorrow if it thaws a bit. This place ticks me off. The last time I came in here was the last. I have maybe been in this store maybe 5 times in the 3 years I have lived in the area. I hate Wal Mart anyway, aka, SatanCo. They treat the people who work for their distributors horribly... and to all the people who think they are really cheaper... SURPRISE! You have been brain washed. Anyway, the only time I ever shop at Wal Mart is because they are 24/7 and the Target across the street is not. I had had a bad day and it was after 10pm before the level of "needing groceries" exceeded the "pain" level I was in. It was nearly 10:45pm before I parked my car and walked in the door closest to the items I was needing to buy. Buy the time I bought the stuff on my list, stood in a 25+ minute line to check out behind some extreme couponer, and started to walk to my car it was after midnight. And the door I parked by was locked. The only explanation I got was that they close that door at ALL Wal Marts at 10pm... and well there was a sign inside the door. Well, first of all, I got here at 10:45pm, I parked outside of this door and walked in. If they close them at 10pm, then it would have been closed when I got here. There was no sign and the door was unlocked so ... so much for saying they close them at 10pm and even if there was, what good does it do to put the sign showing they are closing that door at a certain time... inside the door where you can't see it from the parking lot when finding a parking spot? So... you know what I did? I stood there until a manager came down and unlocked the damn door! I was not going to walk to the complete other side of the store to the other door to turn around and walk all that distance back outside. Never again... I will just have to wait for groceries until the next morning next time. read more

Actually I had gone to have my 2*2 photo taken and printed for my USCIS forms. The gentleman there printed the photo as it doesn't look fit for USCIS, I was asking if he could retake the photo before printing but he didn't consider anything and printed the photo and charged me. Super large Walmart supercenter. You can get what you need her and a bit more, including super large bags of specialty cat food. It's constantly looking a bit run down and you'll want to be cautious where you park. But all in all, not a bad place to shop when you need to. read more

This Walmart on Coit in Richardson is a very disappointing Place to try and get any help from Walmart employees. I went there yesterday May 12, 2021 to return some items that I actually just needed to exchange. I went to "Customer Service" and to my SURPRISE it was closed? I asked an employee if their was anybody working there and they were not sure but went to ask a manager just to make sure! To my surprise the employee came back to me "Not The Manager" mind you and the employee said they were not open and not going to open? Her explanation to me was they are short handed and SORRY! The Manager didn't even come over to explain anything and she just went in her office and closed the door "Not Even Concerned a Little Bit." I have been to this Walmart Location many times and every time the lines are long at the Registers, the employees are Not Friendly, and it'sPOORLY RUN. And what's sad is the Managers Don't seem to care which carries over to the employees which makes this location even though close to where we live, we try to Avoid at all costs because of this issue... I thought Walmart was one of those Organizations who take Customer Service to the "HIGHEST LEVEL?" I Believe This Store Needs Adult Supervision, and someone from Corporate HQ's "NEEDS" to come in and fix the Leadership and Customer Service Issues at this Location in my Opinion... Don't do the grocery pickup. You have been warned. Don't do it! It's not worth your time. You can go through the store yourself and check out before your items get delivered to your car. I've given this location several chances and they continue to fail me. I had another stressful week and decided to give them another try as it could possibly take one item off of my to-do list. If your goal is to save time, this location is not the answer. If you have physical limitations and simply can't do the shopping yourself, then maybe this is a solid option for you. The quality of items selected can sometimes be horrible. Not only do they substitute a lot of items but I have received opened packages of goods. Who wants to use a box of something that has already been opened? Not me!! When I complain, I get an apologetic call from customer service along with a credit to apply towards the next purchase. While I appreciate the gesture, I don't have time for all of that. I would rather pay for good quality service done right on the first try. Walmart - Get it right or just shut down the pickup service until you can address and correct the issues. read more

I came in here to purchase 1 item at 1:15PM on a Thursday. As I approached the self serve checkout, I thought there must be something wrong. There was a line of about 5 people besides the ones using machines already. I saw a bunch of open machines, but 5 out of the 8 of the machines had out of service signs on them. I started walking down the row of full serve registers and noticed that only about 4 were open and each of them had at least 5 people in line including the 2 express lanes that were open. I went back to the self serve and waited for a register. When I got to mine and scanned the item, I was greeted with a notice that it was only taking cards (no cash). Are you kidding me? Not only were most of them down, but the ones that were up weren't completely functional and nobody bothered to add lanes to full serve. What a waste of a 1/2 hour that was. read more

I purchased a Kangaroo camera on 7/6. I ended up not needing it so today (7/31) I went to take the camera back. With the receipt in the Walmart App the electronics manager refused to accept my return because I am outside the return window (according to him is 14 days). Printed on the desk & my receipt says 30 days. Then proceeds to tell me my serial numbers do not match so they cannot return it. He then accuses me of stealing or trying to return a different product. IT STILL HAS PLASTIC WRAPPERS ON IT! The manager blamed me for not checking serial numbers on all pieces in the package before leaving the store. IT WAS SEALED IN PLASTIC!!! The employee that rang me up is standing in the background & says nothing. Not saying he has to remember me but it's your login that rang me up. Never once did the store take any responsibility for them selling merchandise that doesn't have matching serial numbers within the box. MAKE THE EMPLOYEE OPEN ALL PRODUCTS ANS MATCH ALL NUMBERS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING!!! Or better yet don't shop here!! read more

I was at this location and for a Month now a product as been out of stock. That's probably because they filled it in with the product next to it and the employees there are to STUPID to know that something goes there so its not on order. I don't typically shop at Walmart anymore. This one just doesn't have good customer service anymore. There pharmacy lacks professionalism and common curiosity. we went to fill my nephews precriptions for a case of strep throat, antibiotics and cough meds. We dropped off the prescription and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes then she asked did we want a flavor for the antibiotics? We said yes and told her what flavor. We walked back up 25 minutes later and low and behold they hadn't even started working on them and said it would be another 15 minutes. 45 minutes later they finally were ready We go to pay and the tech said oh you wanted a flavor. Ten more minutes and we finally bought the meds. Not worth the wasted time of the place. read more

I've never had a problem with Walmart before, but I've never had to ask a question before. I checked their website before I went, trying to make sure the hard drive I wanted was in stock. It said it was so I went up there. There was only one hard drive on the shelf so I was going to see if they might have more in back. I walked around the area for about 30 minutes with no one in sight. When I finally found someone she told me she was on lunch. The guy she was with who also worked there completely ignored me and wouldn't answer me.
