Why do Pop up tents need to be locked up?
    C Q.

What a horrible Walmart. This is a prime example how Walmart punishes the good people. Everything is basically locked up. I mean everything. Even the stuff on clearance had a section that was locked up. The stuff that was locked up on clearance was travel size Tylenol and some Motrin. Really? It gets better. The pop up canopies are Locked up. How in the hell can someone conceal a pop up canopy in their pants? One would say what about those who will walk out without paying for it. You have security at the door for a reason right? I am not talking about the greeter. I am talking about a real uniformed security officer. Sad the world we live in.

Today is one of the few days that they have the pouches my daughter eats. Thankfully I didn't have to go to Folsom!

Walmart is pretty good at fare prices it's a good place to do all In one shopping list and a blessed time to be in the meantime it's convenient for me

Good thing I didnt actually need any cat supplies
    Emily C.

I tend to avoid this walmart, because it's always a mess. Anytime I go to the pet aisles, there seems to be something in the way... so it's good that I'm never in urgent need of cat food or litter, and also Pet Smart is way more accommodating. The layout of the store is very confusing. The grocery section bridges a gap around a corner that you might miss if you didnt know it was specifically there. So many things are locked up, so that also encourages me to shop elsewhere. Unfortunately, this is the location that is closest to my work, so when I need to stop somewhere quick, this is what I'm stuck with.

95% have what I want. Yes, hectic, but an adventure. Delivery a bonus. easy online returns for any delivery problem and ordersresolved so quickly. front desk returns ok most times. I dont buy flowers here usually but the beautifil roses with alstromeria have lasted days.

When will Walmart start letting us return items? I purchased a food item that was bad when opened. Target has been accepting returned items.

I will say yes, one may return items! Just have the receipt with you!

I will say that "Marshalls" has been my go-to store for the past 10+ years as I have always found…read moresome decent items at their vast number of locations. However, based on the cleanliness, selection, and overall customer service, the Rancho Cordova location only earns an average 3-star rating from me. Located at the Zinfandel Plaza and tucked in between Olson Dr/Folsom Blvd in the heart of Rancho Cordova, this particular Marshalls neighbors their main competitor, Ross as well as a Target store amongst many other retailers and eateries. As many of you know, Marshalls specializes in a variety of department store items; mens/womens/kids apparel, home furnishings, bath & body products, luggage, jewelry, purses, bedding, housewares, and quite a bit of food/coffee. I see them as a slightly more affordable option than their sister store TJ Maxx. If your focus is more towards items for the home (excluding clothing), HomeGoods has much of the same items (but in a much larger variety) while all being part of the same ownership. Out of the few times I have been here (which is mainly during the weekends), I've noticed quite an abundance of customers at any given time. However, their store isn't quite the cleanest as I've seen several articles of clothing on the floor, fitting rooms that look messy, and as much as this pains me to say this, lack of customer service. Retail brick-and-mortar stores like this don't staff a lot of employees which leads to more complaints about a business than actual compliments. Finally, for the majority of their merchandise being new "name-brand" items, there is only a small handful of brands I am familiar with; mostly Calvin Klein, Nike, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. As of 2025, you can get a complete outfit for under $50 which is a nice shirt/sweater, pants/shorts, flip flops/shoes as well as a pack of tees and socks. I am very happy with their towels, bedding, and bathroom items as their quality holds up quite well. All in all, "Marshalls" is a decent place to save a few bucks but nothing special. Therefore, I am rating their (one and only) Rancho Cordova an average 3-stars.

It was my first ever visit to this Daiso. That was a couple of months ago. I have been back several times since. They have a full inventory of of an average Daiso shop. For folks unfamiliar with Daiso, it is the Japanese version of the American $Tree and other like discount shops. Most items sell for $1.75 and nothing more than $5. ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL. But what sets them apart is that Daiso sells inexpensive Sanrio themed items. Things like mini pouches, mugs, cups, hair clips, stationary, cupcake paper cups... and so on with characters of Hangyodon, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, My Melody, Hello Kitty, and the gang. Last weekend, it was warm in there. The outside temp was in the 90s. It was so muggy, I needed to cut my trip short. I bought a short handle broom and sweeping pan that snap into each other. As I was checking out, I asked the cashier if something was wrong with the air conditioning. She said it was turned on. She too must be overheated. I hope that they get the AC up and running to cool at a lower temp. The summer heat is upon us.

She then told me that I could go back in line and buy a pack of gum with just the card to get cash back but as she scanned it she began to question me. She first said "Is that even a debit card?" and then followed up by asking "Have I ever even worked in retail?", she then mumbled under her breath probably not. I decided in that moment to just with-drawl and stated that I would just get cash back at Walmart since this is the behavior at target. Whoever is in charge of forcing the workers to push customers into signing up for the credit card…read moreneeds to be fired. Came in yesterday evening (7/25/2026) with my sister and we shopped around for a bit. I've been to this store before a few times but only ever with her. I've heard the nonsense of them trying to sign me up for a card or whatever before. The last time we were here, I signed up for their card. I have a hard time saying no, which is the only reason why I signed up, and I didn't get approved. Which if fine, I wouldn't have used the card anyway. My sister and I check out separately, she goes to one register and I go to another register. The lady ringing me up had short black hair and glasses and was really nice for the most part. She tried to sell me on the sign up for the card. I told her, "no thank you." She tried to give me an example of why I should sign up and how it would benefit me. I told her, "I tried before and was told no, so I don't want to bother with it today and get rejected again. Maybe I'll sign up some other time!" She continues on pushing for me to sign up. A coworker overhears what she is saying to me, and urges me to sign up in store and then if I get rejected to go online and request to have it looked at or something. Genuinely, I'm not kidding, the woman working this register tried for 10 minutes to get me to sign up. I told her no repeatedly and she just kept telling me why I should do it. She would tell me how customers told her this and that, how they've saved hundreds of dollars on this card, how it's free money, ect. I have really bad social anxiety. Like I said before, I have a hard time telling people no. This was an absolute nightmare for me. I just wanted to ring up my items and leave. I honestly should have just left my items and left the store entirely. I cannot believe how much time was spent trying to pressure me to do something I didn't want to do. And I said no! Many times! How many times do I have to say no? I was trying to be nice. I was nice the entire time. This woman was nice the entire time as well, but she was heavily pressuring me to sign up despite me saying no OVER AND OVER AGAIN. The real kicker of this all too, was that my sister didn't even get asked if she wanted to sign up at all. I guess I should have just sticked with her and rang my stuff up with her. Please let your workers just accept no for an answer. This was a nightmare. I never want to shop here again. I left the store having a near breakdown in my car because genuinely, it is so hard for me to have interactions like this where I am being pressured and I have awful social anxiety and just anxiety in general. PLEASE tell your workers to stop pushing people if they say no. This was RIDICULIOUS!!! I'm going to start telling people at these stores that if they try to sell me on their sign ups I'm going to just leave without buying anything because this was absolutely insane.

I will say that "TJ Maxx" has been one of my major go-to stores for new, discounted merchandise…read more Since they are a subsidiary of Marshalls (which focuses on more discounted products) and HomeGoods (which is primarily non-clothing/apparel), all of their stores are unique in their own way. Located directly on Madison Ave and adjacent to Hazel Ave at the Madison Marketplace shopping center in Fair Oaks, this TJ Maxx store has been in operation dating back to around 2008-09. It neighbors many major retailers such as Raley's, Dollar Tree, Jamba Juice, Chipotle, and much more. On any given day, the parking lot can fill up quickly but in the few dozen times I have shopped here, I have not had any issues. As for the hours of operation, they are open 7 days a week from 9:30am-9:30pm. Upon entry, you will notice how open, well-lit, and spacious the interior layout is. The registers and checkout are to the immediate left while the fitting rooms are in the middle right hand side of the store. And if you need to use the restroom, they offer both a men's and women's restrooms towards the rear part of the store. As for the merchandise itself, TJ Maxx specializes in a variety of men's, women's, children's, and baby apparel as well as shoes, socks, hats, and loungeware. Additionally, their selection of beauty products, handbags, jewelry, accessories, and luggage is quite impressive. Finally, they carry a decent amount of home products that include candles, towels, sheets, comforters, bath, kitchen, furniture, outdoor items, and even a very sizable amount of food products. I have found TJ Maxx to be the hybrid store as they have much of what Marshalls offers (at slightly higher prices) as well as HomeGoods (at slightly lower prices). To sum things up, the Fair Oaks "TJ Maxx" is one of their better locations in the greater Sacramento area. I've purchased a ton of name brand apparel over the years. This includes major labels such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Bahama, Adidas, Polo, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, and much more. And considering you're paying much less than you would be at say a Macy's or Nordstrom, your money can go much further. When you factor in the above average customer service, reasonable prices, well-stocked merchandise, and a decent shopping experience, I am giving them a respectable four-star rating.
