Ordered 2 items to be picked up at this store on Tuesday of last week. Piece #1 arrived at this location on Friday by FedEx. Get an e-mail saying pick up is delayed (2nd piece was not in yet). Piece #2 arrives Monday morning at this location by UPS. So know I know they are both there at this store. Tuesday morning get an e-mail saying pick up is delayed? Call Tuesday evening trying to get some answers, put on hold for an hour and I guess they forgot about my inquiry. I have already paid for these items and want them as soon as possible! The managers running this place are as brain dead as the employees I dealt with! They should close this location down or replace ALL the employees. My favorite Walmart by far. Clean, never overcrowded. Great staff as well. I only have two discrepancies and that is; they never have enough registers open. I would give this store zero stars if possible. To start the cashier charged me for items someone else left behind I had one single item which I handed to her as I reached the register since she called me over as there was "no wait" now I've been standing in line at the customer service line for over 15 minutes and there's only one person on front that keeps asking stupid questions while her misbehaved wild children are screaming and wailing. Finally get called and representative Daniel didn't even apologize for the long wait. I am a faithful Walmart shopper. This is the one Walmart out of all of the ones I have been to that has disappointed me in the customer service area. I ordered groceries online and it wasn't much, under 15 items and I asked the store if I can grab the order a little earlier. The lady on the phone that I spoke to from customer service told me the manager said I have to wait 2 hours. Seeing that no one was waiting for their order except for me! As a manager, I would have had a store associate grab the order because it was an extremely small order as supposed to having a customer wait at the store for hours. I'm upset because I could have went in and purchased these few items myself in the time I've been on the phone and asked to receive my order. I order online because my days are busy and it's more convenient to buy online and then pick up and stay on the road. I wish the store in Colton had grocery pick up or I would not use this location ever again. Whoever is on shift today that assist with the grocery pick should be aware that customer service is key. It's obvious this store is trying to focus on the grocery section- which I never buy fresh food from anymore - Chicken area stunk so bad from chicken juices on the shelves and was not cleaned. The shampoo/body wash/make up sections are laughable. Shelves and pegs are always empty. I usually don't always find they have what I need in stock. I've been to this store at many different times throughout the day. Their stocking abilities are very sad. I usually try to shop in the morning when I do shop here. Staff is usually unloading boxes and blocking the aisles. Nothing wants to make me shop more than Walmart employees parked in front of where I need to shop gossiping.... Toys...clothes...anywhere except the grocery section is poorly organized for shopping and piles of merchandise everywhere. The garden area is nonexistent. I hate shopping here so I've backed of. On average I would spend roughly $200 a week at this store. I'm done...the cashiers are very poorly trained and often times they have no idea what's going on. The returns department is clearly understaffed with management standing around. The cashiers seem like they need lessons on how to properly bag items. I mean I don't think that I'm that picky, it just seems that when I go either they cram everything I buy into 2 bags or they put every single item in it's own bag. Got sick the week before Christmas with my shopping for my wife still left. This store is always busy so having to shop Christmas Eve, even during the day, was the last thing I had in mind and dreaded it as I drove to the store. I had already tried 2 other stores for the item I was looking for and wandered aimlessly around trying to find my target. An employee came my way and I asked her if she knew where it might be. Grace, I believe she's a manager, was kind enough to escort me to the two locations she thought it might be found. Low and behold the 2nd location was the right spot. Unfortunately they didn't quite have the correct variety that I wanted but then offered a couple of suggestions as to where it might be found in town. It was Christmas Eve, the store was very busy as it had been for weeks and yet this woman kindly took the time to escort me around to find the item I was looking for. This type of service was at one time the norm however as our society has changed so has customer service. Walmart should be thankful to have such a person representing them and taking the time to help a customer when I'm sure she had a ton on her plate. Kudos to Grace and thank you. read more

Ok was just in returns for 35min. I purchased an item online to pick up at store. Wrong item was inside. Came to return it. Called the store while in line to speak with manager was on hold 15min. When I picked up order I waited at the .com are for 10 min for service. When I called to complain about the item the person answering the phone was rude. Answering as if it were her personal phone. She said hello I said hello she said yeah I said is this walmart she said yeah! I asked to speak to manager and once I spoke with manager I complained about the person and order she want apologetic. I usually buy ammo at this location when I have a USPSA match and I am running low. I went into Walmart at 10:05pm only to be told that they stop selling ammo at 10pm! Whats worst is that I called that day from work to see what time they close and told them I would be picking up ammo after work (I get off at 9:30pm). They never told me that they only have 1 employee that is authorized to sell it and that ammo is not available from 10pm-7am and they have no signs anywhere to advise customers. Awful! Came here on a Friday night to buy a mountain bike for my husband as a birthday gift. Waited 5-10 minutes standing right in front of the bike aisle to see if anyone would assist us...no luck so we hunted down a sales associate. Found one after another about 5 minutes of searching. He then looks for someone else since according to him they were "short staffed" and he was needed in the hunting and fishing register. Mmmk...really not my problem but sure, whatever...find someone else! A lady comes to "assist" us (mind you the bike we wanted was on the top rack) so this woman huffs and puffs and starts asking us "Why's it gotta be short girl problems?!?" And she proceeds to rant to us how she's gotta call someone else because she can't reach the bike and told us how just the other day a bike fell on her as she was trying to reach for it on the top rack...yada yada yada and so on and so forth. AGAIN...that's a personal problem. Not that I don't care or that I didn't want to empathize with her but I just went to walmart to get a mountain bike and assistance. I didn't go there to listen to walmart employee problems. Waited a few more minutes and the same guy we initially asked to help us comes back frustrated that he again had us in front of his face during such a "busy evening" and then finally he unwillingly gets the bike down for us. It took him less than a minute to do this so I'm still frazzled as to why he didn't just do this for us to begin with. We get the bike down, my husband examines it and makes sure everything was in working order when he realized that the bike had wear marks on it. The tires were worn out, there were scuff marks on the bike and there were even residual bush stickers sticking out of the tires. Someone really had a good time on this bike then returned it! So my husband flags down the same guy to ask him if they had anymore of these bikes in stock in the back and the guy says to us "Well, if I have it in the back it'll be in a box...meaning its not assembled yet! You sure you guys don't want to just order it online?l?" NO!!! Why in the hell would I want to pay shipping and handling fees and wait a week for the bike if you have it in the back?!?!? My husband assures the guy that the assembly part would not be an issue. The sales associate then looks at us and says "I hate this job! I'll be right back to see if we have it in the back!" and never returned. At this point I am just blown away by how unprofessional these walmart employees are (at this particular location that is). WOW!!! Just WOW!!! I have NEVER been treated worse at a walmart and that says alot! I mean....honestly, if you hate your job then QUIT! It is most certainly NOT the paying customer's issue that you guys were short staffed, that walmart hires people who can't reach merchandize on the top shelf, that the employees are disgruntled!! Do NOT make your personal issues become your customers problems!!! Ugh!!! Staff was rude, lazy, they lacked in customer service skills and common courtesy...I'm simply disgusted by the staff at this location! Although we usually come to Walmart as an "all in one" spot to shop, this time was horrendous. Bought corn on the cob for the Independence Day Holiday (yes, simpletons, it's called In-De-Pen-Dence Day, not just the 4th of July.) The corn was old, tough and tasteless. 2 hours of a slow simmer couldn't help that pig slop. I won't be buying produce from Walmart again. Nor dairy since the time before our half and half went sour the day after we after got it. One last thing...I use the Savings Catcher and I've been getting back a lot more $ than before which tells me this is NOT the best place for deals. We've got an Aldi store and it's not too bad. This Wal-Mart is pretty nice considering the neighborhood it's located in. I always find great deals although I wish there clearance isle was way better.... they have eggs that are super cheap compared to well everywhere for that matter. The parking lot however is very trashy, people are constantly leaving tons of trash everywhere and even alchohal. They should probably have a cleaning crew every 2 hours. read more

This Walmart opened up about a month ago and its so sad how they have the WORST customer service this is the first time that I see sooo many unuseful, unhelpful, unprofessional people I can not believe no one was able to answer a simple question which was if they do in store gift registry I know they do it on-line but I went in there to ask them about in store and oh my it took them like 30 min and no one had an answer for me no one knew and some of them didn't even know they have gift registry on-line and I still don't know if its only on-line. I asked to speak with the manager and he/she never showed up so I started shopping around for some items that I needed and decided to call the store while I was in the store and it was much worst I just got bounced around or they would just hang up on me. I mean really? They can not answer me a simple question? OMG this place sucks so bad!! Obviously, I have low expectations going in, just because it's "Walmart" and these stores usually define incompetence for most of us right? Well this was a new low! I actually wouldn't even be yelping Walmart at all if it wasn't way worse than I expected. Anyway, I try to go here as little as possible but there is one item that only Walmart carries and I absolutely have to go there at least twice a year. Of course, they were out. I had to interrupt 2 employees who were talking to each other and walked right past me, literally right past me and didn't even look up at me. Like I want even there! So anyway I ask them to check the back because clearly the entire store just got a shipment in. There were folks stocking items in a lot of departments and aisle so i figured they may have some. They both come back separately. The woman got back to me first and said they have some but she can't reach it. Then the man comes back and says "all I could find was this, we are out." He was holding a completely different product that could never be confused for what I had asked for. I thanked them both for checking (even though that had slightly different stories), but by that time I already had a car full of stuff (this always happens at Walmart). I went to check out. I got in line behind one person who appeared to be about half way done. I hear the check out girl say to the customer in front of me "when I go shopping with my mom, I sometimes forget I don't have to scan stuff" (Oh Lord). After the million coupons are scanned, they finish and then Yay it's my turn! Except she's effing with the coupons and doesn't acknowledge me for an awkward amount of time. Then she proceeds to ring up my stuff. It took 15 minutes from the first item to the last item. If you think about it, that's agonizingly long for just a check out. In to of that, she had badged each item individually!!! I purchased 59 items and received 59 bags. So dies this? It was hard for me not to stop the girl and explain the concept of a receptacle that encourages one to carry multiple items easily. My tomatoes were already in a bag, yet she felt they needed another. But they could not go with the Celery. The Celery also was already in a bag, but she gave that it's own bag too. The poor poor sea turtles! I got home and, after putting everything away, stuffed all the empty bags into one bag. I had a pillow of Walmart bags. What a waste! This place is a joke. I purchased a book online because it was not available in store and chose the 2 day shipping to store. When I ordered the item the order said available Thursday. On Thursday I called the customer service line for the store and spoke to Manager Jason. He took my order number and said he would check the status and call me back. I did not get a call back. Monday, a week later I called to check the status again and they said the item was ready for pick up. I did not receive a confirmation email saying that the item was ready. If I wouldn't have called I would still be waiting. Its very frustrating that 2day shipping is offered but you don't get packages until a week later. And the communication is horrible. read more

I had the absolute worst experience here. We made an emergency stop to get two umbrella strollers because we forgot ours at home. I thought, ok I will run in and run out. WRONG!! The place was a disaster and out of 24 check stands only 2 were open and everybody in the city seemed to be shopping at the time. 30 minutes later, I make it to the car where my husband was waiting with a toddler and two crying babies. We get to where we were going and when I go and open up one of the strollers, I see that two wheels are missing from it!!
