I don't typically shop at discount stores like this, but I went to Burlington to get a coat jacket and didn't realize it's just like a Ross now. I got the jacket and then a pair of shorts, and wanted more. I went back to get more and of course nothing there. So I headed over to Ross and got 3 different pairs at a screaming deal. Why have I not been shopping here? All name brand stuff, for a fraction of what I'd pay elsewhere. I suppose my only gripes are the lines. They also have some pretty serious theft problems so they have some very restrictive rules with trying on clothes etc. All in all, I'm going back when I want more. Never seen a Ross with 2 stars. Normally the stores DO have a low score but this one seemed fine to me. Ill give a more recent review The store is a bit tight. No problem for me since I was thin, but it may be a problem if youre pushing carts or have a disability aid. The reason it's so tight? Because of the variety -- Ive never seen a Ross store this well-stocked and with hot finds before. It's almost as though they read the surveys from people wanting more prestige fragrances and goods, or to get stock from indie brands. I was able to get a Marc Jacobs perfume I was dreaming of, and I saw some tropical flower hair clips which were previously only found at small boutique stores for marked up prices The cashier line was slow. Terrible customer service. I bought my husband a wifi speaker. When he recently tried to use it, it was not functioning. We went to exchange it or get store credit towards a new speaker and they refused to honor our digital receipt. I accidentally threw away the receipt, but had a digital photo off it for my Fetch app. The manager and clerk were rude and treated my husband with disdain. Just spoke to Ross corporate because I attempted to return a pair of shoes that I paid $40 for a week ago and they kept telling me in the store that I could only receive $15 dollars for it. According to corporate item get marked down weekly and in my case by nearly 80% in a week. This feel like theft from the company and they are not trying to honor their return policies. Corporate literally told me to file a policy report if I want my money back. Service sucks, the store is a disaster, they allow dogs in (not everyone likes animals) it's always dirty, the workers look unhappy, the manager Joel is an epic failure and shouldn't be allowed to run anything. He's rude, disrespectful and quick to dismiss your concerns. The new district manager is no better or helpful at all if you have a complaint. I've shopped at this store for over 20 years and it has gone to hell. I'm giving this store 1 star because Miss Brenda has always been nice and friendly and treats her customers with respect. Steven is not a good manager. He has this "favorite" named Tonda that he will not put in check despite her mistreating employees multiple times (and being constantly on perosnal calls). And because of that, she thinks she can do whatever she wants and has continued to treat employees poorly over the years. She complains DAILY "oh, I work too hard" or " or "I need a raise". She acts like she's management when she's NOT. When you tell an employee "why are you talking?!!" as you're trying to explain to her that we have to clear the doorway and get told "AND HES STILL TALKING!" should tell you want BS employees have to deal with. Or how about STEVEN allowing years/on going arguments between Tonda and another employee that everyone else had to deal with, completely UNNECESSARY stress because "they do their jobs well"?! Screw you man. The fact that Steven didn't make Tonda apologize to anyone is what truly infuriating. And even more infuriating is Deja, she let this situation go on for years by backing her attitude. This one is closer to me, but I shop at the other one in my town because they do NOT clean up and organize as well. read more

This Ross is my go to for my Airbnb. They always have an amazing variety of bedding and decor available. They had 3 associates assisting with the line and I was checked out in 5 minutes. Not too bad for how many people were in front of me. The manager was really kind and I was able to decorate 2 bedrooms for $200. read more

This Ross store does not seem to have as much in stock as other Ross stores, which was my main disappointment. Having said that, the prices were good as always, and I did find quite a few items. I was impressed with the wonderful, helpful, friendly staff. All the reviewers that are saying how "ghetto" the store is - that is on the ghetto customers. The staff can only do so much. If customers throw stuff down on the floor, that is on them, not the staff. I was very impressed with the helpful staff. I forgot to pick up an item I had purchased, and when I called the next day, the staff were very helpful. Even though I am the one who forgot to retrieve the item, the staff member I spoke with on the phone said I could get a refund if the item was no longer in stock - very helpful. read more

The employees literally announce that they need to be out the clock in 10 minutes while there is still customers in the store ! I'm giving 5 stars for two reasons. I'm from San Diego, and our Ross is a wasteland. The selection of clothing here at the Moreno Valley location is fantastic. I got a pair of perfectly fitting black moto jeans, a cute low cut formal romper and a lamp shade. The second reason is the sales associate Anthony. He was very helpful and efficient while helping my family and I with our purchase. It was truly refreshing to see someone who is good at their job and happy doing it. We all know shopping at Ross can be, to put it nicely, an adventure. Thank you to Anthony for making our experience simple. read more

This store is a mess! I've visited this store about a total of 6 times since moving here in 2015. I end up regretting each visit! First off, their restroom seems to be "out of order" (said with an attitude) for hmmm 4 years now. Who are they kidding? They refuse to let paying customers and their children use the restroom. Plan to spend about 45 mins to an hour in line. Twice, we had to ditch our cart just to go elsewhere because of the long wait and a toddler who had to go twinkle and couldn't wait anymore. Just avoid this store completely and don't waste your time. There's a Burlington and TJ Maxx a couple doors down, employees there are nice and you're in and out. read more

I looked at all the reviews for this location and they were so bad that I was expecting to have issues going here for the first time. I agree that the aisles are small, and some things are in the wrong places. But that's a lot of stores nowadays. In any event, the customers were courteous and the staff were kind. There were a lot of cashiers working and I didn't wait in line long at all. I was able to find several items at some good prices, which is why I shop there. I had the worst experience at this store today. First of all, they dont allow the shopping carts in the dressing room so if you have a baby like me you're SOL. Secondly I wanted to purshase a 8x10 area rug but didn't think it would fit in my car. I asked if they could hold it until first thing tomorrow morning when I would be able to pick it up with a large vehicle. They said no. Then i asked if i could have the security guard escort me outside with it to see if i could fit it in my car after all (i was the first parking spot). Again no. This is actually a very decent Ross. The only reason this location has a bad rating is because most of the people writing the reviews don't understand why the store is in disarray. If you actually follow store policy, you won't have a bad time. The mess is caused by the people who shop there: you. The adult. Great employees and experience until we met SARAH THE STORE MANAGER. We were standing next to the checkout line finalizing a few items we were skeptical about in our cart. The store closed at 11 and at 11:01, Sarah comes up to us and says "You guys need to get in line NOW, we gotta go". We collectively turned to her and said "excuse me, can you be more nice next time?" Which she sarcastically apologized while giggling. We then asked for her name and position which she replied with " My name is Sarah with an H if you couldn't see". At that point we were SHOCKED with how rude she was being. We let it be and continued to check out with the cashier who had much better customer service than Sarah. Through the whole checkout process, we can all see Sarah talking with Loss Prevention pointing at us while we check out. At this point, our friend who is also a manager at his job got fed up and went to talk with her to seek an explanation and apology for her actions and responses and guess what, she BLAMED US for initiating it. He noticed there was no point in communicating with her anymore because she clearly cannot hold herself accountable. Side note, he had bought a silver chain during the beginning of the transaction and obviously Ross cannot give you the accessory when you ask for it, they take it to the cashier to ensure you pay for it. Now returning to the story, as he ended his conversation with Sarah, he turned his back and began walking towards us and as he came our way, Sarah says, "Uhm did you pay for that necklace?" Like really? Did you not see you cashier get the accessory from the jewelry section and ring it up IN FRONT OF YOU? Such a horrible manager and no where near decent customer service.
