They'll have one brand of expensive tires in stock but nothing else they will order them and have you pay for your tires before you get them.Never seeing them and not knowing if they will be damaged before installed. Never mention anything about the mount and balance assuming it's included in the price. The day you come in to get them put on they tell you it's another $100. On the receipt it states in a few words spaced on the bottom of the receipt that no one would notice. If you are going to close all of the self checkouts make sure you have more people working the registers because it's ridiculous that you only have three people on the registers and all of them have about 6-7 people in line with full carts when you obviously have more workers you can put on more registers. Also if you are going to be closing all of the self checkouts just get rid of them because I want to be in and out of the store but I can't do that because Walmart doesn't trusts it's customers and I'm one of the people that doesn't mind scanning my items I prefer that because I can scan my items faster than the Walmart workers and be in and out of the store I'm a timely manner because I do have things I need to do after I go to Walmart. Also a couple of days ago I bought a bunch of Starbucks cold brew coffees and the salted caramel cream coffee expired on July 21st 2025 and I only noticed today. Disgraceful store. Disgraceful company. This picture (posted this past August) represents why you should NEVER put work above everything else in your life. 27 years of dedicated work, countless missed holidays with family, ongoing exhaustion from doubles because the company "needs" your help, hospitalizations because you don't take time to care for yourself when you're sick because there's no one else to cover. She was there from day 1 of opening. Most of Rome knows her face and yet, she was cast aside yesterday due to bureaucratic, corporate ignorance. 65 years old, 11 children, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Less than one month before Christmas. She would have worked there until the day she died, even though her family has begged her countless times to leave. They have never valued what she gave to them, but she did it because she valued the customers. She was the scapegoat for the poor corporate management that wasn't doing their own jobs to oversee the store. Shame on you Walmart. I hope you enjoy your comfortable seats, hiding behind your closed office doors while the people on the floor, and the community she has served for three decades, suffer from this loss. read more

beyond poor. shopped and paid online, nobody delivered to pickup area for 40 minutes, so I walked into customer service to ask why. couldn't locate anyone to assist, so I left. got home and found the item marked as "picked up" in my email. no item, $125 lost from my debit. will never return to a walmart again. read more

Me, my family and I went to rome ny ,Walmart on October, 14 sat,2018, . my two year old daughter who loves everyone was saying hi as usual , I needed to go over to pharmacy to look for Vicks, again my daughter is saying hi politely to everyone and as I am looking for Vicks I hear the pharmacist ( long brown hair skinny in her twenties) in a snooty, mocking tone mimicking my daughter. She was going "hiiii....hiiiii."...Even though I was insulted I ushered my fiancee and daughter off so I could look for Vicks and not have to worry if we were bothering her, as if that wasn't bad enough, I then over hear her talking to her coworker , (as I continue to look for vicks ) that " her son does that sometimes too, but he at least shuts up for two minutes, I whirl around in disgust and I am looking at her. She then rudely proceeds to ask me " can I help you?" In a very angry and rude tone!!! My family and I will no longer shop there ( we generally spend 200 $ a week) and go to aldis where employees have always been friendly and have my fiancee run in to dollar general for everything else. I contacted assistant general manager and was brushed off to call her supervisor and wasn't to overall concerned . Not impressed!....sent complaint in to Walmart corporate email. My belief is : we need more friendly customer service , especially at Rome ,ny Walmart. update *****I just called the appropriate store utica * ( confused since it is near rome, the walmart next to bass pro )and finally got ahold of the people responsible for incident and through talking with pharmacy supervisor Paul, I found out he was the co worker also involved that night did not come out and say I am sorry mam' that was not professional or anything! Talking with me today he said I believe you are taking things out of context. I was there  she was just trying to say hi!, what an insult to my intelligence, I am disgusted! How insulting. I know what was said!As a supervisor he could have diffused the entire situation by coming out and being professional about the whole situation. I told him even if you two are friends you should have come out and said that to me knowing I was hurt and at least make me think you were going to take care of it and we wouldn't be here today! I believe it is disgusting for any thirty year old in her job position of waiting on people to talk about and be rude in front of customers, especially to talk about a child that way, Paul the supervisor of Utica the correct store the incident happened, knows the associates responsible being himself and who ever the woman is late twenties long brown hair. And is protecting these people because it involves him personally as well. Even after finding out he was there the night of the incident ,he tells me I will take care of it and speak with the employee. Obviously he does not care or he would have taken care of it then. Oh my goodness... All of this is horrible I will be posting a corrected form on yelp of people involved. And that it was covered up. Also that he didn't do the right thing as far as coming forward and at least pretending to yell at her for a hurt mothers sake. read more
