This parking lot ended up being my office this morning. I had just left the Georgia Welcome Center when the phone rang and this was a convenient place to park. Nice large parking lot that made it possible to angle the van every little while for a few hours to keep the Sun in the right spot to keep me from baking (on the back doors). After working, it was time to check out the inside of this Walmart for lunch items. It's a full grocery store (unlike yesterday's stop in Fernandina Beach) and I was able to get a few things to make a fresh salad in the van. Auto parts associates are so rude for no reason. They are always mad and they will ignore you especially TJ. Acting like they don't like their job and that the customers are a pain in the neck. I was trying to get a tire repaired and TJ was so unprofessional. read more

It is fortunate that this is the only Walmart in the area. If there was any real competition, this store would not last a week. Employees are ignorant and openly refuse to offer even basic assistance to customers. Managers are dismissive and probably is the reason that help is only there for a paycheck. I purchased this product at the Walmart in Saint Mary's Georgia. Today I opened the product and there is 2 more days before it expires. When I opened it I noticed that there is some kind of Fur or hair growing on the fruit. Because I live so far away I attempted to call the store to get help, one person answered me and when I tried to explain the situation interrupted me and transferred me to another department. With that person answered they didn't say hello or anything and talking to myself I said I need to speak to a manager at this point. That's when someone answered and said that I need to hang up and call back to the front and they will instruct them to answer the phone. Against my better judgment I agree to do that only only to find out that no one would answer the phone. I attempted to call back 4 times with no answer. This Walmart is full of employees who do not care about the customers, do not care about their job, do not care about the company that they work for. The management of this store is a disgrace and should be ashamed. If you can't get management to provide excellent customer service how do you expect your employees to do the same. read more

When it comes to convenience of shopping in a single place for those replaceable everyday products and tangibles which every person and pet need, there has never a better goto spot than Walmart. It has been decades now since Sam layed out the first few around the country to compete and make their mark on the world stage. Now with the market practically cornered for brick and mortar stores and Sam long since passed away, Walmart has changed. No more is the patriotic cry for Made in America products, the banner at each location reminding us that buying American made products keeps America working and strong. Plus we just do everything better. That may cost just a bit more, but by ensuring our products last longer and the American small business and corporations do not trash up our environment by being greedy or lazy ensures not only future generations of clean healthy living, but our dominance within the world. Now Walmart has taken American prosperity to its lowest level by replacing the greeter person, which gave many elderly and those with special needs a chance for a bit more of a normal lifestyle, with the asset protection position who are required to be more physical. My recent visit gave me a chance to see the new position in action. There are still stools to sit and Welcome patrons, but more action to review receipts as the customer leaves the store. I long for the days of Sam Waltons strategy to be the best by actually doing the best for the customers he lived to serve. We just do not have any competitor outside of the internet who can force a change. I appreciate the 24 hours location. During the pandemic the hours shortened (understandably) but generally this place has been convenient. The workers aren't always kind or considerate. And most can be found hiding out in random places. But I appreciate self checkout and scan as you go. That way I don't have to talk to those workers. Don't expect help when you need help finding something. But generally clean. read more

For what we came for our visit was quick and hassle-free. Our destination was electronics to purchase the new Air Pods. We have about a 5-minute wait for a customer service associate, told them what we wanted, made the purchase and was headed back out the door. We were there for all of 15 minutes. I needed to know if they took passport photos and if so make an appointment. I will go to CVS. They answer the phone. This Walmart is atrocious and no customer service. This Walmart was decent at one point and time. However staff here are typically rude & unhelpful, and shelves seem to be frequently empty. I used to live going to this Walmart at the early morning hours due to no crowd and most the time the shelves were being stocked, but it's no longer (nor likely ever will be due to covid) open 24/7. This is unfortunate for folks like me who work odd shifts and get off work between midnight and 2am. If you have the choice, go elsewhere. read more

Walmart doesn't seem to need description, as it has become a staple, that we are all familiar with at least one. They sell clothing, hardware, linens, food, stationery, electronics, toys, pharmacy items as well as so much more. From a consumer's perspective the only things we are interested in is service, availability of items, and low prices. My husband and I went here last night with a list of items. When we could not find an item an employee was there to help assist us. The cashier that checked us out was very friendly. The prices were reasonable and we left with our cache. Typical Walmart. The electronics department is horrible but the customer service at the front desk (front customer service center area) is always great! They hoard the 22 ammo so I just buy my regular 9mm and 40 ammo there. The tire place is what you'd expect but affordable. And I usually only buy packaged food from there maybe some salad stuff stay away from the bananas they're gross! I have to add this again the older African American ladies in the electronics department and heck the whole electronics department. The whole sections a train wreck and super unhelpful. It's a shame too Id buy more stuff instead of driving to the airport exit to go to best buy. read more

We live 10 minutes away from this wal Mart and it is by far the worst wal Mary location that I have ever been to. The staff are horribly lazy more so than average wal mart staff. They hadn't been restocked and the only ones left on the top shelf were pushed too far back to reach without climbing on a shelf(I didn't do that). Tried the grocery pickup. Huge waste of time. Their process is not to inform you of substitutions until the time of pickup. Things like chocolate milk were substituted for soy chocolate milk, hidden in bags, and tried to be charged. The person handling the order was ambivalent about the numerous changes. After getting over the poor stock services, we later realized some of the food was way out of date. Went to just make my kids a pizza with the dough we bought 5 days ago... it was already expired when it was purchased. Sure, I can return it. Walmart is Walmart dirty empty shelves, extra stock out of reach. No service if assistance is needed. If you walk up to the deli or bakery, you get passed over if you work there or are friends with who's working behind the counter. Half of the self check out lanes are not working and the other half are being used by customers that have 100+ items. (Doesn't make any sense) if your luck one express lane plus a regular register will be open also. Don't forget to bring your own cart in, because there all in the parking lot. read more

Seems clean! As with most Walmarts the employees hide I guess because you can't find one. They never have enough cashiers. They try to force you to work for them for free by checking yourself out. Shelves are always understocked and they seem to be carring less optional brands and more the Walmart brand foods. I guess eventually they'll only sell the second hand brands of all foods. Absolutely terrible customer service in the electronics department! 7:40 PM 7/20/18, no customers in line, I had close to $400 in merchandise to buy (approximately 10 Items) and $250 in Electronic Merchandise! I asked if they were open, one of the two ladies standing there talking, both Wal-Mart employees, said yes. One of the employees then told me that I should have gone to the front to pay for the items because I had too much. I was given the impression that I had inconvenienced them because I asked to pay for my electronic items there. Very lazy and unprofessional, but that does not surprise me these days. As an Independent Presenter of Younique products, I love to buy gifts or often need supplies for my clientele. I also enjoy feeding my family and stocking up on necessities. This Walmart is definetly a non-supporter of everything I do. Good luck finding product, especially in at least fair condition to purchase. I shop this store 3 times a week. They usually have what I need, but sometimes they are out of stock. The store is clean & they clean up spills right away. EVERY STORE is different. Even this "Small" SuperCenter has items that the Lem Turner "HUGE" Super Center doesn't have. The Staff are easy to approach & talk to- ask questions. If a Hurricane is coming, you'll be out of luck as they sell out really quick. Stock your supplies ahead of time. Water, batteries, flashlights, gas cans, canned goods, MREs, electrical cords, radios, clamp lights, fans, cell battery back-ups, etc are available year round. Don't wait til the last minute! Overall a good store to shop, or I wouldn't be there 3 times a week... With a local population around 40,000 and people coming from surrounding areas in Georgia & Florida, it's not difficult to understand why shelves get empty. For the "dissers", the cashiers also help to stock the shelves- I see them stocking shelves all day long. You don't see that very often in other grocery chains. Why? Because they don't turn the same volume that Wal-Mart does. Vendors normally stock the soda, branded water, beer, chips, snack cakes, and bread. Everything else is stocked by employees. BTW, this includes moving items around in store- as a general practice to keep you looking and- oh, yes I want one of those sales... I still shop the other grocery stores for certain items. But THIS Wal-Mart is my go to place to get it done. read more
