Driving back to Charleston from Florida and this gas station has easy access to and from the interstate. Bathrooms were clean, just be cautious of water on the floor in some areas. They have a Cinnabon and icee machines so that makes for fun road-trip food. There's an area for showers as well which is helpful for truckers on the road. I needed a coffee and the small cup goes for only $2.19. They have your usual self-serve carafes but I tried one machine that cranks the beans right then and there to make your cuppa so that was nifty. Checkout is self service but there's attendants nearby to assist you. Love how accessible it is from the highway. read more

Clothing, hats, toys, the biggest selection of energy drinks I've ever seen, regular gas station grub, and onsite fast food to include a Subway and working Cinnabon kiosk! Onsite trucker showers/lounge with weigh station too. Service was not kind but they have a revolving door of customers so you're just next in a long line, literally. This is probably one of the cleanest truck stops I've been to. The staff were very friendly and helpful and every 30 min to a hour they do a bathroom check over the intercom. There's a Cinnabon station, a Subway and their J Fresh Cafe where the food that I saw was consistently hot and very clean! You can kick back in their nice massaging recliners, watch a movie in the mini "theater" or gamble. Whatever it takes to unwind after a long day of straight roads and long waits. I Love pilot period ... While traveling I always prefer to stop at a Pilot station. They are always well staffed, clean, stocked with so many options from snacks to car needs to accessories to ANY and EVERYTHING. This Pilot was no different, it always amazes me that they have full showers for use. This was my first time hearing them announce "Adams, Shower 4 is ready for you". It was super cool to see that real people (not weirdos) utilize the amenities. The cashier was super amazing and friendly she kept me laughing and was interested in my pregnancy and travels. She suggested things to me and provided exceptional customer service. I did utilize the restroom and it was clean as always at any Pilot we've stopped in over the years. Billboard off the highway shows current price of unleaded gas so you know how much it will be prior to going. Gas was cheaper than Florida. Lots of gas pumps. Gas pump was fast. Lots of drink and food options, clean spacious bathroom. Bathroom entry doesn't have a door so no worrying about touching a door handle when you leave and hand sanitizer is located at entry way. Right off highway and close to Florida Georgia stateline. Lots of travelers so it felt safe (espcieally when traveling alone). Cons: pump said "see cashier for receipt". Yep, at the time it was $2.19 which beats what I pay at home by a good bit so it's a winner. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No, the fueling area was pothole and slop free. While I didn't partake in the fun that is truck stop restroom roulette (meaning of course like roulette where you never know where the ball will drop, you never know how dirty the restrooms will actually be) the lovely wife and kids did and they came back contaminant free so that works for me. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Check, this place is so close to 95 you could almost huff the fumes from passing traffic for fun. Human intervention needed? Not a chance. To say that like many large corporations where service is approximately the same from store to store, sometimes there are dramatic differences depending on which location you choose. This Pilot location is a prime example of exceptional customer care. I leave a very satisfied customer after each visit. This store location at exit 1 off the I-95 in Ga is the first of two. East and West of the exit are Pilot Travel centers. I speak so well of the East location. Travel across the way to the location on the West, the difference is day and night. Their employees are always working. Whether it is picking up trash or ensuring shelves are stocked. Cleaning the restrooms or keeping showers ready for the drivers, the east location is neat and tidy. Have a choice? Take the exit and go east. You will be better off for it. read more

I got scammed at your pump on Sunday August 14.. The pump showed a 41 dollar charge. But the time I drove 100 miles my gas worming came on. Had to stop for another fill up for 40 dollars. When I arrived at home my bank account had been wiped out! I will be filling formal complaints with the correct authorities in the morning. Both payments were made with my debit card. Around this time it was a little dark outside, so it was nice to see this place have a lot of light just terrible amount of parking spots. The entrance can get a little hectic, be prepared to stop a lot. We saw that they were offering hot boiled peanuts, which is rare to find at pilots. They offer Cajun & Salted (aka regular). We stopped here on our way to Florida, it's right before the state line. Like less than 5 minutes away. As you can imagine, this place was bustling. We ate Subway. The food area setup is a little confusing. There are multiple food stations and different pay stations. We picked up some chips that were specifically from Subway and tried to pay at the central station. We couldn't. However lines moved quickly and the place was rather clean. I got an ICEE for the road and we were on our way. After getting back on the road, I checked my banking app to find a $151.00 hold on my account from PILOT when I only purchased $21.00 of gas. I called PILOT immediately and was told that was between Visa and my bank. However, when I called my bank, I was told it was a travel center thing that was very common. By far the nicest Pilot center that I have ever been to. I was way impressed. This was nice inside and out. I was impressed primarily with the cleanliness but the food options were incredible. I had the egg rolls. I wanted the pizza but decided the eggrolls were better for me and they tasted great as well. The pilot gas station is prob one of my fav travel centers. Typically I pull into weekly for my gas fill up. They are normally cheaper before crossing back into Florida. This review is for the Chinnabon restaurant only. We love Pilot travel stops, but since I can't find anywhere to review Cinnabon specifically, Pilot will have to take care of it.... My husband went inside to get one cinnamon roll but we waited for him at least 30 minutes, maybe more. The rolls were baked, but the employee took an inordinate amount of time to frost them while there was a line of at least three people. When it was my husband's turn, the employee waited on two other people who essentially cut in line before my husband. She was completely oblivious to what was going on around her. If our Cinnabon had lived up to the price and reputation, we might have been mollified. However, our roll was dry and overbaked and it was frosted sparingly to say the least. Pilot and Cinnabon better get their act together if they want repeat customers. read more

It's a nice new one the pizza and hot deli is really nice and better than the older stores. The Cinnabon looks really good and they also have a subway. The truckers lounge is really nice and if your traveling you can do laundry for $2.50 a load. Also the coffee is always fresh. read more

If you're driving near the Florida/Georgia border on I-95 this is a great place to take a pit stop. It's at exit 1, which is the same exit you take for the Georgia Welcome Center. You would think that the Georgia Welcome Center would be a clean, well lit place to stop (no to both of those, btw). However, I kept going there because I figured that it was still better than stopping at a gas station (so so wrong). I finally relented and gave what was then the Cisco Travel Plaza a try. I felt silly when I did because it was a great place to get a snack and the bathrooms were large, clean, and well maintained. Evidently the Cisco Travel Plaza was forced to close because they were busted for having rigged gas pumps (ooops). This place is now a Pilot Travel Center. They've remodeled the inside and it looks much nicer. There are different choices from what you can get to eat now. I saw Cinnabon I'm pretty sure that a sign said that the Subway is open 24 hours a day. Do yourself a favor and avoid the welcome center on exit 1. Come here instead. read more
