The color I chose was the (Hot Pink & White) in Size Large, The Material is 95 Percent Polyester and 5 Percent Spandex. This Beautiful Top was on Sale for $14.00. The Regular Price was $21.00. I saved $6.00. It was a great deal! My second order was the One UVN Women's Short Sleeve V Neck, 4 Button, Summer Tee Shirt. The Sale Price was $12.97. The Regular Price is $20.02. That's a savings of $8.02. The Third Item I ordered was the One Athlete Works Women's Knit Capris , 2 Pockets, Tie at the waist Pants. The color I selected was Medium Gray. I ordered Size Large. The regular price was $12.98. My total cost was $40.43. These 3 Clothing Items arrived on time and were delivered to my front door on Thursday, May 28, 2026. I wore this pair of Athletic Works Women's (Knit Capri Pants) at home and I wear them also when I am out grocery shopping. I also wore these 2 different Tee Shirts when I am out shopping. Typically don't leave bad reviews, but this was atrocious. First timer using their curbside pickup. Placed an order at 230pm for a bunch of corn on the cob and some hair dye. Shouldn't have to hard to get together right? Pick up time is 7-8pm. At 7pm I get a message saying my order is delayed. When I look at the progress, they haven't even started. At 745pm I get a message that my order has been canceled citing "We're sorry, we had to cancel your pickup order because it was flagged by our policy review team." I call the store 3 times. It rings and rings and rings and no one ever answers. So I head down there. Talk to the manager in the curbside delivery department. Explain that was order was canceled due to being flagged. He said "that's weird" and directed me to call the 800 number. I don't use Walmart too much but not really gonna comeback to this store again. Actually come to think of it, my mom did a curbside pickup up here one time and one time only. They put moldy bread, not just a touch of mold, but 75% of the loaf was dark green mold very visible through all sides of the bread bag. Not sure if there's a management problem here and people aren't trained correctly but it's kind of a train wreck in there. Shop at your own risk. read more

There was some pee on the toilet seat, which I cleaned before using it, but at least there wasn't anything worse on the floor. The real issue is the shopping experience here. Staff followed my uncle around the store and looked at him like he was going to shoplift. When he went to self‑checkout to buy saltines, employees started talking about him at the checkout "He's paying in cash", making him so uncomfortable that he put everything back and cried. My uncle is visiting from Maui, where we only have one Walmart, and he's never been treated like this anywhere else. This location has a reputation that matches our experience. Many customers complain that affordable items are locked up and difficult to purchase because employees are hard to find to unlock them, which creates frustration and gives the impression that customers are automatically treated like potential shoplifters rather than guests. Some also note that staff availability and communication feel lacking, and sometimes receipts are checked at exits, which can feel invasive if not handled politely. To make matters worse, I had slipped and fallen here on a previous visit, which felt dangerous and made me worry about store maintenance and safety standards. Had the worst most bizarre experience at Walmart on Thursday 5/21. I know it was crazy busy but I was close by and I specifically needed a few camping items. Raphael was GREAT. He was very helpful, polite, and nice. Even though he wasn't able to actually open the cabinets with the lanterns and power bank chargers. Raphael said his phone device wasn't able to open those cabinets for some reason and he asked us to wait for his co worker. He told us about 15 mins he was on break to look for a guy who was also bald... so we went to look around and waste time looking at other things in different departments. We can back 20 mins later and this guy looked real busy was running around looked stressed and like he was cleaning up some mess. So I had asked him if he could help me that I had been waiting and we walked over to the cabinets. Asked him if he could open two cabinets and he said he could only do one because he had other people waiting. I told him I had been waiting also. He said he could only open one. At this point I was so irritated after waiting I walked off saying WTF.. then I went right back because I wanted his name. His name tag was flipped around (shown in the first pic) and I couldn't see his name so I asked him. He literally would not give me his name. Refused to give me his name I had no other choice but to take his picture so I could identify him at the front with management. I went to the front and spoke with a manager Victor who was very helpful but thats not the point. That was absolutely the most unacceptable behavior and experience I had at a Walmart. I don't typically write reviews, but I was astounded by the lack of good customer service at this Walmart. I talked to three separate employees to try and unlock a cabinet for one item and all three were incredibly unhelpful and sometimes flat out rude. I waited for about 5-10 minutes after pressing a cabinet button several times (it kept shutting off since i was waiting for so long) for someone to come unlock it, and when I finally went up to an employee to ask for help, she told me I had to wait, in which I replied that I had already been waiting for 10ish minutes. She told me that it sucked but someone else will unlock it, and then walked away. I waited for about 5 more minutes before another employee walks past me to turn off the button and turn into another aisle, only acknowledging me because I followed him. He told me to pick it up in the cashier line, which is fine, but his tone of voice is what shocked me. I asked him a clarifying question since I wasn't sure which isle to go to, and he was even ruder in his response. I told him thank you and went to go check out. I know that I shouldn't expect outstanding customer service from Walmart, but I'm about 10-20 years younger than the employees that I talked to and even I know how to give better customer service from my 3 years of experience, even on my bad days. This walmart location (college grove) is not my first choice, due to the reputation and experiences at this location. Went to return a TV wall mount purchased through walmart.com. Was told could not return in store. I was very surprised and frustrated. NO WHERE on the purchase document did it say I could not return to a walmart. Then later found out I was not able to return it due to return policy. Again, NO WHERE on the purchase document did it state this. Walmart.com was an issue, however I'm writing this review due to the customer service treatement. Was there today, around 10:45am. (Look at the recording in your store if you want to help your employee out with his performance style.) I asked for a Manager. The young man that helped me was PASSIVE AGRESSIVE! He also treated me as if he wanted to get a "one up" on me! He suggested I go to Grossmont to get a refund. Then suggested I deny the credit card charge, in his passive aggressive manner. I DO NOT believe he was an actual manager. Primary because he doesn't have the skill set to speak to customers, and he clearly requires to be RIGHT, wants the last word, and his passive agressive personality. I then later saw him stocking the shelves. If he is a manager, he is either in the wrong job, or needs to be retrained if that is even possible. I wanted to see if this walmart had changed/shifted in the way the store is run. I will continue to go out of my way and go to the Grossmont location. Tried calling several times today to find out what the return area's hours are since they close earlier than the store closing hours. Nobody answers the phone here - not bakery, not electronics, not the main operator. Absolutely no one. If you're not going to have people answer phones, then at least list the returns area hours in your recorded message. I have driven out to this store before to do a refund or exchange only to find that the section closes earlier than the listed store hours. Extend the hours to match the store! It is a waste of time to call back several times a day to find nobody answering the phones. read more

This is our go-to store because we live nearby, and they truly helped us during a stressful situation. Our car battery died in the parking lot after running errands. The battery we needed was not in stock, but Manager Cesar went above and beyond. He checked inventory with another Walmart on Murphy Canyon Road and even coordinated with Melvin (manager?) there to confirm that the battery and installation were available. They also suggested Santee as a backup option. Thanks to their kindness and teamwork, we were able to replace our battery and get home safely. Outstanding customer service! read more

I had gone to this Walmart one time several years ago and then vowed to never return, and I didn't. I didn't return until I saw something online that I wanted to try and Walmart was the only place carrying it. What was that item? Fruit Riot, candied frozen grapes. They're insanely good. I really like the curbside pick up, it's very fast service versus going into the store for pick up. I parked and was on my way in less than 5 minutes. This location is the Super Center. It has produce, vegetables, fruits, a deli counter, baked goods (breads, pastries and whole cakes!), it really is the Super Center! They are always stocking, no matter the time of day. It have your everyday essential plus more. The customer service area is super slow here, I don't like returning atuff or having to deal with Customer service area. The lines will get so long. It's crazy. They have a pharmacy and McDonalds inside the store as well. The thing I like about this location is that they have so many self check out. It is very useful during holiday seasons. This was review is for the vision center. Absolutely horrible customer service. #1- I was told how much my insurance covered and how much I had to payout of pocket . I was VERY clear that I didn't want to pay for anything extra. I was told my portion was about $52. I paid my amount. #2- Weeks later I received a bill of $91!!!!!! So now I had two impacts that did not work and had been returned or previously opened, to take back. When I went to take it back, the app basically said I could not return it. They scan your items for you and watch you pay at self check out. Then they ask for your receipt when you leave at the exit and that's way too much to go through just to shop. Theft is not everyone's problem specially to customers who spend $1000 a month on groceries and other items. read more

I am writing this review from the Walmart parking lot where I have been waiting for over an hour for a small pick up order. I have never had such an abysmal shopping experience or order pickup experience in my life. There are 30 pick up spots here, which are all occupied, although most vehicles are empty or appear to be occupied by people who are camped out for the day in the Walmart parking lot. Of the few other vehicles with other customers waiting, I can see a couple of people who have reclined their seats and appear to have resorted to napping in their cars. It has been at least at least 30 minutes since I have seen an employee walk outside the store. In addition to this unacceptable situation, there appears to be a mob of people causing a serious safety hazard at the side door to the store where I previously saw employees exiting the store. There has been one security vehicle driving around the parking lot in circles, but not doing anything to address the several safety hazards I can see from my car or the several people camped in the parking lot. I am baffled that this is how a business as large as Walmart does business. The fact that despite having a specific, scheduled pick up time, I cannot get my order that should have been in my car over an hour ago is completely unacceptable. This display of ineptitude, combined with the extremely dangerous environment that they have allowed to be created in their parking lot, says a lot about what Walmart thinks of their customers. This was a very negative experience with Jordan, being an extremely rude and unprofessional employee of the store. First, the old one is locked up with no button to push on that side. Second I was told that she couldn't go get an employee because he would get mad. Third I was told so I would just have to wait, with entirely too much attitude. While I was able to eventually find what I needed, it took me on a long and unsettling journey to get there. When looking for water enhancer powder packets, i.e. Propel, I had to walk all over the store to find it. Finding an employee to help was next to impossible. That said, it would be logical to put water enhancers with the bottled water. But no, they're in the aisle with beer and wine. Huh? As a recovering alcoholic, this product placement is particularly disturbing. For some, it will (not "could") have a triggering effect. I wasn't particularly comfortable. Walmart management needs to take a look at that and make a change ASAP. Moving forward, I won't come back to this location for water enhancers or at all based on principle alone. read more
