Definitely the biggest Walmart I've ever been to! This place is massive--felt more like a small mall than a regular Walmart. They had a ton of stuff I don't usually see at my local store, which made wandering the aisles kind of fun. The layout was clean and organized, and the store seemed well-stocked in almost every department. I'm not a big fan of going to Walmart in general, but sometimes your girl just has to. This location is a bit of a mixed bag. The biggest issue is how often they're out of stock on everyday items--it can feel like a gamble whether they'll have what you need, and more than once I've left with only a couple of things from a full list. The store can also feel crowded and chaotic, especially with the pickup order employees who often block aisles and don't seem very aware of the shoppers around them. That part can be really frustrating. That said, I do want to give credit to the clerks at the checkout--they're consistently friendly, efficient, and make the experience better. Very unwelcoming environment, workers at self checkout stare me down the whole time I check out, like they are worried about me shoplifting. I understand its there job and they obviously don't want to get stolen from but its very uncomfortable to be stared down like that when I go here all the time and see the same workers a lot and they do this to me every time and this makes me feel rushed and anxious to finish bagging. Worst Walmart I have ever been to. Myself and 3 others were in the sporting goods for over an hour with absolutely no help. Two of us went to get some help and it was announced on the PA, but no one showed up. Where was management ??? A manager could have taken the time to come and found out what was going on, but no they must have been on an extended break. Guess this is going to now become the normal at allot of stores. I'm looking at a $200+ oil change from Walmart! Went for an oil change when visiting family in Sanford, ME. Had to leave Walmart and come back because my appointment was not written down. Of the 3 people I spoke to ahead of time and at time of visit, all said something different about not needing an appointment or needing one. 3 weeks after the oil change, I'm being charged $200 by a trusted mechanic to fix the damaged housing unit caused by Walmart. If you know what you need, where to find it, and it is in stock, that is your best bet to come away satisfied at this store. The few employees that are available to 'help' you don't know much and don't seem to care. Forget trying to call this store to speak with a manager or for any information other than their hours of operation. I bought a rotisserie chicken there that was grossly under cooked when I got it home and tried to serve it, pink inside. I had to put in in my oven and finish cooking it which I did, or drive 20 miles back to Wal mart to return it. That was NOT convenient and disgusting. I asked two employees about assistance finding something and they both took their masks off to answer me. What is it about face masks that is so difficult to understand? I just spent the last four hours at the tire and lube center at the Sanford, ME Walmart for the installation of four new tires and an oil change. I had to cancel the oil change, because after four hours the employee's had not even begun the oil change. I was told that it would take two hours at the most. The employees exhibited a complete lack of costumer service and absolutely no communication. There was certainly no sense of urgency on anyone's part. I will never return to Walmart for any service or product ever again!!! With service like this, no one should ever expect a raise in their minimum wage!
