I love coming here to buy my organic greens! The prices are awesome for them! I haven't found a place that sells 16-20 ounces kale, spinach or mix greens yet. This place is always crazy. You can tell it's going to be nuts when you can't even find a parking spot! Carts, people, children, fallen store shelf items all clutter your path as you try fight your way down the aisles. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are the worst, be warned! If you go then, be prepared to wait a minimum of 30minutes in the "express" lanes. The rollback prices can't be beat- so you can find me here every weekend. I love to hate wal-mart! read more

I reviewed the other Walmart in my area recently, and would have continued to go there had this Walmart not become 24 hour (i like to run errands late at tnight. don't ask.). Best Friend and I discovered that the Secaucus location was 24 hours, saving us a 20 minute drive, so we went in to check it out. everything was laid out in reverse of the other location, so it took us a few minutes to get our bearings. I must say that the Walmart brand products are consistently improving in quality and value. Best Friend is hooked on their mac and cheese (seriously, it's comparable to Kraft), and I'm now addicted to their Tropical Trail Mix (with macadamia nuts!! woohoo!). I managed to get everything I needed for under $100 (and I got alot of crap) without any incidents. This isn't the type of place that I usually need to ask someone for help, but the employees I did encounter were friendly and seemed to be at least attempting to do their job correctly (usually they act as if you are torturing them by asking them to do anything related to WHAT THEY GET PAID TO DO!). there was the usual assortment of mutants, but the screaming child quotient was fairly low, and only had a problem with the group of chola ladies in front of us (I DON'T CARE WHO OWES WHO WHAT FROM THE CLUB JUST PAY FOR YOUR SHIT SO I CAN GET OUT OF HERE), and an Asian family who didn't understand the concept of keeping walkways clear (yup, just stand around looking confused, don't worry about the people trying to push their carts out of the store -- they'll just wait. or run you over. one or the other). maybe they could put some more lights in the parking lot though? i was there at appx 11pm and it was pitch black! there are lights, they just aren't on whenever i've been there (even at night). makes me feel a tad bit unsafe walking to the car when i can't see shit (oh hi mr robber, didn't see you hiding behind that car there! whats that, you want my purse? NO PROBLEM!) oh, and wtf is up with the "rollbacks"? 3 cents off a product should NOT be advertised as a sale. also, i'm aware that different stores sell the same products at different rates depending on the demand and customer base, but really -- could you at least TRY to stay competitive with Target and/or grocery stores? I hate getting 99% of my shopping list at a good price, but not buying a few items because i can get them much cheaper at Target. and expand your movie section. First of all, this place is a SUPERWALMART! I am saying that because it does include a COMPLETE GROCERY STORE includes fresh produce, Pharmacy, & McDonald's. I don't know why it's just called Wal-Mart. The service is sketchy; however it's all about the low prices. This place must have had a recent makeover because the parking is spacious, unlike what other reviewers said & I have an SUV. I did go on a Sunday Morning and it's quite easy to get in and out. This place was very clean and everything I needed was in stock. TIP: If you want to buy in bulk, I would go to Sam's Club next door. If you are not member you can get a one day pass, but will have to pay 10% extra at checkout for non-members. read more

My favorite grocery store, near to my place and it has every item one looks for. Mainly I shop for groceries here but I have tried kitchen items and some furniture as well. It has amazing return policy. With receipt of the item you can return the item within 30 days if you don't like or the item does not fit. Fruits & vegetables are fresh. Sometimes not specially Avocados. Since last month they only have ripe avocados. But the variety of fruits is huge. Think of a fruit, you will get it here. Same is for vegetables. They have deli section where they serve full rotisserie chicken, chicken wings with many sides. Sides include mashed potatoes, buttered corns etc. The frozen section has many options from uncooked to cooked chicken, seafood, beef, turkey, frozen vegetables, cooked packaged food. There is a lot of variety of bread, milk, juice, diet soda, punches, yogurts, cheese, chips, nuts and much more. Apart from food they have every time of kitchen item like cutlery, toaster, blenders, pans. All Electronic items are covered as well. You can but pets food from the pets section. Curtains are available for living room. Great place to shop!!! read more

This store has almost everything you could ever want and the prices are consistently low. I mainly buy food because it's the only grocery store in my town. The produce isn't fancy but it's good quality at low prices. The variety is excellent too. The frozen food, dairy, juices, & household necessities abound. I am vegan, so I know nothing about the meat. They don't carry my favorite tofu . A larger health food section would be great. The bad thing about this store is long lines for checkouts and slow help at self checkout. They try but they are under staffed. The Walmart app shows me the location of anything I'm looking for. I will continue to shop here rather than drive on the highway to another town to shop. read more

Just like most Walmarts there are times to go and times not to go. The place is HUGE. its a 2 1/2 stars for me. Customer Service is difficult, finding anyone in charge. It is a total waste of time trying to place a simple online delivery order! As soon you walk in, the grocery section is to your left. Nicely organized so finding what you need should not be different. But be warn, lots of temptation as you walk in because of the cookies and cakes placed near the grocery area. The whole store was pretty organized. I had fun going through the $7 Blu-ray movies and $5 regular dvds. The line at the registers were not long. It was a quick checkout. They have a big parking lot so parking is no problem. read more

I just spent perhaps a total of three hours--two in the store--with a Cordis (who are they?) representative in the Secaucus Walmart. They were selling Verizon Fios products but wore Cordis IDs. To make a long story short, after not being able to assure me that I would receive what i signed up for and after not being able to get anyone from Verizon to help (and now feeling something is not right) I cancelled. To top it off, I then asked for the full name and address of Cordis and did not receive an answer. Is there something "fishy" taking place in the Walmart and we are not aware? They have all of my personal info, don't seem to actually have anything they are selling and cannot get Verizon to help. Of course, calling Walmart resulted in zero help. I really dislike this Walmart. It's annoying! Its always overcrowded and filthy! How are the floors NEVER clean?? The fruit and veggie section is the worst. One of the largest Walmart's I have been to. It has practically everything, except for the alcohol. The vision center is a decent place to buy glasses. The opticians were patient and knowledgeable, though the selection could be better. Used to love it here, but had several bad experiences. First, never ever do a ship to store here. I literally waited 3 hours for them to find an item that was confirmed shipped to them. No one could find it. And it took 3 hours because it seemed to be way understaffed for the holiday season. Other's waited hours as well, but at least they got their items. The parking situation is always a mess. It is right next to a Sam's club and shares the parking lot so it finding one can be quite an experience. And with a ton of people and foot traffic going from lot to store, it's aggravating to go in and out. read more

This Walmart is a circus. I've come here on Saturday afternoons, Tuesday night, and Friday at 11PM and it is just as horrifically packed each and every time. The parking lot is a nightmare as well since it shares with Sam's club (another big box store) so we have a hard time finding parking. I'm just trying to buy a hamper over here! The store is poorly laid out, they leave shipment boxes all over the place, and the floor is disgusting. I'd much rather drive out to the North Bergen location even though this one is 5 minutes from my house. read more

Lines,lines,lines and customer service. There is always a lack of cashiers. With the exception of some, GHETTO GHETtO cashiers speaking to each other cursing in front of children. 4 stars alone, for being the closest Walmart to Brooklyn. Love the trip out of the city to this quiet little spot. Jersey intimidates me, but I love walmart so much that I'd probably rent a room from one of their hotels just to visit walmart two days in a row! Bought two cruiser bikes here for my lady and I. Price was great and the transport was not a problem. The guy was helpful and attentive even though he was the only one working the very busy bike section. Everyone was really friendly. First off, It is a Wal-mart. It has a great location. Open 24 hours. An a super center. Great for last minute things, if your car breaks down or you need a dozen of eggs. I only shopped there when i lived in Secaucus. Why? No real food stores. Unless you travel else where. Yes it is cheap, but you pay for what you buy for. The employees are horrible. Some people don't speak English. Or if you cant find something... no one knows where anything is. Most of everyone that works there is rude. Since i quoted there is no food stores.. everyone in there mothers are there! The lines are horrible! I never seen more than 4 cashiers open. You will get lucky if it is 5am in the morning. Out of all the Walmarts we've been to, this has to be the best one. It's huge, clean, and has everything in the world you'd need or want. While I would agree with other reviewers about the customer service and workers, with Walmart that's a given. I don't even pay attention to the workers. The prices are really rock bottom. Andddddddd this is the first Walmart that didn't make me and hubby break out into itching and hives. Love this Walmart. It's in Harmon Meadow Plaza, so youre surrounded by a lot of options to eat! Lol. (I trek from Queens) The customer service at this location surpasses the north bergen location by far. Before we entered the store, we were checking out the bikes outside and a CSR by the name of Chris helped us out and he knew what he was talking about. This guy was amazing. He approached us, asked us if we needed help, showed us some bikes and assessed the one we already had. At the returns desk we were assisted by Lydia and Peter. They were great. They did their job and did it well. They didnt go above and beyond but they acted exactly like an employee should. No problems at this location. The store is well kept. A lot of the employees are hispanic and don't speak very good english but they are helpful. The only thing is that some of the employees here dont give you exactly where an item is. They push you in the right direction and then youre on your own lol. read more

All Walmarts are the same - large, full of employees who are too busy re-stocking or chatting with others to take the time out of their day to be helpful. That being said, when you're looking for the super-cheap items that they generally do not sell anywhere else, this is the place to go. I can't fault it as an evil corporation when this is how they keep the costs low. That being said, the parking in this area is quite bad, if you want to be close to the entrance. If you don't mind a two minute walk, you can park your car at the very edge of the parking lot (at the Sam's Club side of the parking lot) and it generally much less crowded. The lines are very bad because the place is so busy, but as I said... I can't fault them for keeping the prices so low by cutting customer service. The return items line usually also has a long wait time. I go there occasionally if I know that they will have something ridiculously cheap, but generally I prefer the super target in Jersey City. read more

You know that the store is going to be set up the same, so you know where to find everything. When I moved to NYC we stopped here to get some necesseties and holy crap, the view of the Empire State Building is ridiculously cool. Seriously. It's a good location, but I hate having to drive all the way (slowly) past the other stores to get in the back. They have good deals, big store. Produce section is competitive and good, but their clothing section is frustrating. Whoever is handling the customer service line on 1/22/2020 at 11:40am needs to be fired immediately. I called simply to ask a question about the money services center. Her initial greeting was just a "hello" and then transferred me without saying anything. After 2 minutes, she picked up again and just hung up. I called the line back and she kept just transferring me without me getting a chance to say anything. This is unforgivable and a poor representation of this Walmart location. read more

I'm not a fan of Walmarts, but this place does have everything which makes shopping easier. They have a huge food selections so that makes shopping for multiple items much easier. They also have an easy return policy. They have a deli and hot food bar which is nice. The only major issue is too often they don't have enough cashier's so there are long delays for checkout. read more

Went there at around 9:30 at night. Encountered very rude employees. My husband asked an employee named Rafael a question. Right before he called the employee's name, my husband and I were talking about something and he laughed at what I said. Rafael then turned to him and rudely said, "What are you laughing at?" Few minutes later, my husband asked another employee for directions. Employee, again, gave him an attitude. We left the store feeling frustrated and somewhat attacked for asking for help. This is my favorite Wal-Mart and I do try to get here at least once a month. It is large, semi clean, and I find almost everything that I need. Management has add several self check outs, which I don't like because it put people out of work and often times the store will purposely not have enough cashiers for check out. Customer service at Walmart.com is an oxymoron. I would of given them no stars if it was possible. They have contracted with a delivery company that has neither a web site or phone number. Their own employees can only reach them by email. On Thursday 9/26 I was expecting a package that had a guaranteed 2 day delivery which never came. I had to contact customer service 4 times to get my problem resolved. The first two times the representatives lied and said they called the company and it would be delivered by end of day. One rep had me on hold for 1/2 hour while I waited for a supervisor who never picked up. On my third call a supervisor named Raul (the rudest rep I have ever dealt with)said I have to wait as I would be contacted by email within 48 hours and nothing else could be done. At 8pm I checked the Walmart site and discovered that the delivery driver claimed My building was closed (I live in a 14 story apartment house with a 24 hour doorman). So, another lie. Finally on the fourth call I got a supervisor named Tasha in Texas who was both concerned and knowledgeable. Of course with no number to call she had to email them to deliver the items the next day. Well , the next day has come and even with her assistance a message appeared on the website that the package was returned to the sender. Never gonna use that website again. read more

Meats and seafood look like they have been frozen for years. Bakery products either expired or expire the next day. Long lines for check out.
