It would take quite a miracle for any Walmart in the USA to attain a 5 star rating, but there are many that qualify for 4 stars; and of course there are the crap ones that earn that 1 or 2 star rating. I'm still debating whether this one gets 4 or bumped down to 3. Well all know after I hit the "post review" button. We stopped at this store, at about 9:15pm on a Friday, on our way from Milwaukee to Green Bay, to pick up some necessities to stock up at the Airbnb we'd be staying at. This Walmart was impressive in its size and well stocked shelves! For a Friday night we were a little surprised (shocked?) how empty of customers it was, but they had dozens and dozens of employees on duty throughout the place. After picking up everything we needed/wanted for our 4 night stay, except for the beer and booze, we proceeded to that area of the store. It was literally chain gated off with no access. I asked a couple different employees as to why and if they had keys to let us into that area. We received a couple of blank stares and then told it was the manager's decision to lock it up at 9pm every night; and no they did not have keys to let us through. We were told we could go speak to the manager, but felt it would be pointless. We bought what we had already, which was reasonably priced (many items cheaper than at our local Walmart) and bounced, picking up cold beer and booze elsewhere. So, if you plan to buy liquor here just make sure you get there before 9pm. read more

Do not buy a cell phone here. Bought an iPhone 17 Pro to go with our Verizon plan in February. Phone will not hold an e-SIM. Walmart refuses to exchange it, despite the fact we have the receipt. The phone is useless. We have spent 20+ hours between carrier tech support, Wal-Mart, and Apple, my husband missing two half days of PTO, attempting to get this worthless phone to work. Tonight, after the rep told my husband she would be there until 7 pm, we went back to Wal Mart with the phone at 6 pm- only to find there was no one there to help us. Apparently her boss called her and told her to go home for the evening. There is clearly something wrong with this phone that multiple people cannot fix. This is a high-end, premium phone that we paid $1200 for- brand new. We have the receipt. My husband, who needs the phone for work, cannot use the phone. There is no way for those he does business with to contact him. It is infuriating. Walmart sold us the phone, Walmart should stand behind it and exchange it. read more

Typical Walmart, maybe a bit above average. Specifically regarding their auto service center: Decent auto center. Worth to check for discounts. I was able to get tires I was looking for at a significant discount. Just be prepared... the email confirmation contained a bar code or the appointment that the store had no idea what to do with. They requested an enormous amount of detail about the car which had no bearing on the tires (which had been pre-ordered). The staff is pleasant, but the administrative burden placed on them borders on obnoxious. Still, considering the value, I'd probably suffer thru it again. read more

I am a Spark Driver delivering for Walmart, and there was a little mixup with an order because the online pick up guy put every order that I was picking up in the tote that I have the manager calls me and yells at me when I literally told her it's not my fault it was your guys's fault because they're the ones that put everything in the tote when I literally told them to separate them how I want them I will not ever go to the store to pick up any orders ever again if you are a Spark Driver! read more

I went to this Walmart for a quick exchange for my daughter's boots... come to find out they no longer do exchanges at the front counter and before Bonnie asked me any questions about what I want to do to proceed, she went ahead and put money back on a card that was not mine. Then called over another young lady by the name of Desi, they both proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do for my refund or exchange!!!! $34 boots with nothing to show for no money no exchange, and that seems to be OK with Walmart!!!! Their names were Desi and Bonnie that helped me in the customer service department at the northside Walmart ......completely incompetent!!!!! read more

Accusing innocent people of stealing using the self checkout and then not apologizing when they're in the wrong. Also watch out for overcharging for products! The shelf price and scanned prices sometimes don't match and you end up being charged more. read more

If I could give a negative -10 I would. They are so racist at this store! The employees profiled us since we walked in through their doors making us feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have another choice since it was the nearest shopping place from where we were staying. Once we were at check out, the employee would not sell us alcoholic products just because my husbands DL was expired. Even though my DL was valid. Even when my family members where buying their own alcoholic beverages separately they would not sell it to them just because they were part of our group or they saw us talking to each other as the manager stated! This was the worst experience ever for my family and my self especially being our first time visiting in Sheboygan. We will NEVER step foot in this Walmart ever again! This review is for the tire and auto center. I purchased new tires here for a car. I was told I could drop in anytime to have the tires put on, and I also needed an oil change. Everybody was very nice and polite, but there were a few big negatives for me. 1. It took about an hour longer than they said it would, so I was there waiting 2 1/2 hrs. Had I known that, I would have had my husband come pick me up and take me back later. 2. They didn't disclose all the costs of putting the tires on until the final bill. I suppose I could have asked. But I wouldn't have thought to ask about the $9 balancing fee per tire. 3. Lots of people walking around, standing around, doing nothing. When I first get there, guy says it's gonna be at least 15 minutes before they even start on the car cause everyone's on break. Probably wouldn't have come here for tires if we weren't selling the car I was getting tires for. Now I definitely have no reason to come back. read more

The shelves in this store are never stocked. I have waited better then two weeks for an item to be shelved. There are empty spaces all over the food section. Their yarn section is nothing to brag about either. Items often in the wrong place and when out of something they sometimes spread other stuff out. Very frustrating. I will travel to another Walmart before I shop at the Vanguard Store again. On a happier note. The greeters and cashiers are always pleasant and cheerful. read more
