This review is only about Wal-Mart's PHARMACY in Show Low: I'm still angry about being charged $65.00 for a prescription that, 90 days later, I refilled at the Fry's in Flagstaff for $9.62 for the exact same number of pills. Good. Grief. Gee, I should've gone back in to Wal-Mart to complain, right? Sadly enough, I tried, but the place is so darned busy all the time and they have so few workers back there that I gave up. It's hard to stand there and complain when you have 30 people stacked up behind you glaring at your back. I prefer a bit more privacy when I know that I'm going to screech like a harpy! :( I guess it's not the workers' fault for all this. They probably only charge what the computer tells them to, and it's certainly not their fault that this Wal-Mart only hires 2-3 pharmacists/clerks to handle hundreds of people at any one time. Still, I'm never filling a prescription there again. I now go to Costco ONLINE for mail-order delivery of my medicines (very nice since we live in a rural area), and you don't even have to purchase a membership to use their pharmacy. P.S. Wal-Mart used to offer online mail-order prescriptions a few months ago, but it was a counter-intuitive TRAVAIL to try and figure it out. Nothing on the website ever worked right and, in the end, you'd have to physically phone someone to place an order. Then you'd have to give out your credit card number over the phone. Yes, over the phone...the one thing we're told to never do. Sigh...good thing Wal-Mart shut this thing down. read more

Rude employees, long lines, ignorant customers and the produce department is always half empty. Just when you get used to knowing where something is, they move it and even the employees don't know where it is. I'm starting to worry that I will go to hell when I die, and hell will be Walmart. I can't see how anything could be any worse than shopping at this store. I don't mind going to hell, but the thought of spending eternity inside the hillbilly hell that is Walmart scares me silly. I hate this store with a passion. There are a few good employees, but they are few and far between. Management is poorly trained and doesn't give a damn about customers. I've tried to look past the fact that this store is consistently UNDER stocked, or more accurately, OUT OF STOCK on the items I need with EVERY SINGLE visit. I've tried coming at 6a, that was worse! I figured, it's a small town with very limited shopping choices. So naturally, it will be over-shopped and empty shelves is the price you pay for living in this quaint little town. One thing I've always enjoyed was how pet-friendly I THOUGHT this store was. I'm always snapping pictures of pets shopping with their families at this Walmart. I'm NOT talking about working dogs or pet therapy dogs. I'm talking about regular dogs on leashes or in carts. Last week, I observed two cattle dogs barking their heads off, a well behaved doberman, a mixed breed puppy, and a cat...yes, a beautiful rescue cat in it's b d in the cart. Today, I walk in with my newly adopted 10# Chihuahua mix on a leash but in my arms...and yep, an employee (which you can NEVER find when you need one) tells me I can't have my dog in the store. This store makes me so angry. They have trained us to do self-checkout and now there is not one human cashier. To make matters worse we now have to stand in line behind people that are self checking because there are maybe two self serve lines open! What the HELL !!!!!! How do you write a review for a store like Walmart? I went in to buy a fish called a plecostomus for a little nieces aquarium. Finding help with aquatics took about ten minutes. When I got someone to help and got to the tanks, there were floating bags with a new shipment of fish. The bags had been floated so long, that the fish inside the bags had used all oxygen and were either dead or in distress. The employee helping me get my fish had A minimal mount of understanding how to net and bag. I walked him through the process and rubber banded the bag. I personally cut one bags open that were clearly in not going to make it if I didn't. I made a comment the employee about how bad things looked and he said that's the Walmart way. He could not open the bags that were past due to be put into the tanks. I went to the customer service counter and let them know that they had a serious problem. I was told that they would get a manager. I waited around for 20 minutes and went and located two managers and again reported the problem. They told me somebody had already reported the situation. I informed them that somebody was me, and I had lingered in the store to see if the issue got resolved. It did not. read more

Disorganized...employee's aren't helpful at all. Last time I went there a stocker told me to find if they had an item in stock that I could go on the Wal-Mart website to look...like REALLY???! They just need to stop selling fish because there are always half dead one's and it makes my daughter sad. Don't even get me started about long lines with only 3 checkstands open. Why do we even try to go to Walmart? There is always some kind of issue. I will continue to avoid Walmart at all costs. The employees for the first time have joined the ranks of the lowness of Walmart. I was treated so rudely at check out and over something I am compliant with. We went to Show Low Walmart to buy a new TV. There was no one in electronics to check us out so we proceeded to the front. The TV was priced $60 over what the Walmart app had said and we had asked Georgia, who was very nice to us, for help. She got someone else to assist her who was Michele the Team Lead. Michele had a bad attitude from the start and was arguing with us about the price of the TV. We asked her not to have an attitude with us but still presented with an attitude that she seemed inconvenienced to help us. She then said we either needed to listen to what she had to say or she would refuse to sell us the TV. When asked for a manager or someone higher up she stated that she was the manager. She then accused a friend that was with us of being intoxicated and threatened to refuse to sell us the TV and other items we were buying because she "could smell alcohol". This review is strictly for the PHARMACY. Walmart remodeled their Pharmacy a few years ago. HOW NICE! They have 2 cashier stations up front for people to pick up their prescriptions. THEY REFUSE to put another cashier. After 38 minutes in line to pick up my prescription, I asked the lady why they didn't have any help for her. She told me that the Regional Pharmacy Manager would not allow another cashier in the pharmacy. OK. I went straight to the Manager in Customer Service and asked her why is it the "sick" people in line at the pharmacy have the longest wait? She told me that they have to be trained to be a cashier in the Pharmacy. OK. I get that, but not once did ANYONE (6 people back behind the counter, not counting the cashier) apologize for the long wait, tell us they will be with us soon, or even acknowledge the growing line. I did see the Pharmacist back there working. One was unpacking boxes a delivery man just dropped off. Another was EATING and completely ignoring the line of people out front. They completely ignored all 22 of us in line and let that poor lady work the entire line by herself. I was 11th in line and there was 10 people behind me, circling the aisle. The fact that my time isn't of any value to these people has made me switch. to CVS for our prescriptions. The lack of concern, care or even customer service has me now looking to find my products elsewhere. read more

STRAIGHT TALK = STRAIGHT BS! I decided to switch from Verizon $50 monthly, no contract - to Straight Talk. Little did I know that this entire Straight Talk clan is amateur, at best! I paid $79.88 for the phone and added the 2 year service plan for $7. The man told me all I had to do was call the 800 number or go online to have my new phone activated. Hmmmmmmmmmmm I got home, opened the phone package the got online to the Straight Talk website. I entered the serial number and the system kicked it out as non-valid, so I called the 800 number. After being on hold for several minutes, I was told that this Straight Talk phone I bought could not be activated. I needed to return to the store - 35 miles away - to have it re-scanned. I explained to the girl that I had night blindness and it was starting to get dark, here in AZ. She switched me to her supervisor, who gave me the same run-around. So I called the store...........and got the same BS from them. How else can you pay near a hundred dollars for phone and warranty from a company as big as Wal-mart and receive a run-around like this unless the service is less than sub-par? I guess I'll stick with Verizon and bundle all this Wal-mart garbage up and take it back next week! This walmart costumer service was the worst of all, we came to buy a bottle of wine, the csm stopped us and asked for id, my wife showed her the id and she asked for my id, I said why she said they needs 2 id to sell the wine. Eric sports goods was no help at all, didn't even direct to right department. Linda assistant manger, finally after telling we were reviewing her store finally helped us find our product. I am leaving one star for all the dingbats that I encountered while trying to get an issue resolved. I did finally talk with Marisa and she was the most helpful, hopefully corporate knows how valuable she is to them, they would've lost my business for good if she didn't resolve my issue. I left items at the store/the customer service representative was careless and we were headed through to go on an elk hunt. Needless to say, I couldn't make it back it the store to retrieve the items I had left there and I live 5 1/2 hours away and after being told by 3 different people that there was nothing they could do unless I came back into the store. They tried to tell me that they couldn't identify that it was actually me over the phone, even after identifying the items left and being told that they were there. After speaking with those people and the corporate distribution center, in which they will have someone call me within 3 business days, absolutely ridiculous, that absolutely just Shows no care or concern for their customers. I work in customer service and I have dealt with plenty of upset guests, today I was definitely that person. I called back to give them another chance to make things right and that's when Marisa assisted me and resolved my issue for me. I absolutely can't believe the run around I encountered with this. I would definitely recommend to John, the store manager, to ensure all of his employees are properly trained to assist customers with these types of situations and definitely his customer service reps to thoroughly checkout their guests and ensure they are sending them out of there with all of their paid for items. I give Marisa 5 stars with assisting me with my issue, but this store, definitely needs to uphold their training standards. read more

Do not use Straight Talk, their customer service and tech support are useless. It took me over a week and several hours on the phone with them attempting to establish the data plan that came with my purchase. Ultimately, they could not support data in my area, Show Low, AZ. After speaking with 3 "managers". They would not help in any way including modifying my service plan nor credit me the amount spent on the data. All they would suggest is that I buy a new phone from them. Awful business practices. read more

I personally love Wal-Mart and have been to several in many different states, in many different sized cities, and I can honestly say that this is the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been to! The customer service is absolutely awful, they have no idea how to treat customers. I once exchanged an item and went to get it and a few other things when I returned to check out a huge line had formed. I went to the front of the line since I had already been in line and was told I needed to go back to the end of the line because, " The other people in line wouldn't understand." Does not honor tire warranty. Had slow leak on tire only 3 months old and first thing they want to do is replace it. More money for them rather than fixing it. Did not soap tire to check for leak or break the rim to take tire off. Then came and said tire not fixable as to close to side wall. Needed to replace it. Then tell me none in stock and their distributor will not deliver the tire. I will have to go online order tire and have delivered to store. Then they will cancel order and put money back on card. Did not have spare with me. So asked if any other store has the tire they said did not know and did not try to find out. So back out truck and tell me nothing they can do. I asked how safe it was to drive and they shrugged. So get a spare tire brought and ask them to install it. After 2 hours of dealing with them. Yes they will but have to make appointment in another 3 hours. Did the tire change myself. Took it to Discount tires and no problem fixing the tire at no charge. Went back next day to get refund on warranty and told no as if they refund the money the warranty is still active. I explained that they did nothing under the warranty and Walmart does not have the ability to get the tire and me, the customer have to do all the work and time lost (1+week to get tire delivered). Dept. manager says that if I don't want to follow the rules then my choice. Found it interesting they did this away from the auto dept waiting room as their were customers buying tires. Warn you do not buy their warranty as they will not honor it. Just get your money and leave you hanging. Will always do business with Discount tires in the future. I called to make an appointment at the vision center. At the time I called I asked if they accepted Care Credit for payment & was told yes. When I loaded up my 4 grandchildren & went for the appointment today I was told they do NOT accept Care Credit. This review is aimed at walmart.com. I love Walmart since moving from the big city. Especially walmart.com which offers many things not carried in the store. However, the walmart.com desk stuffed in with photo processing almost ruins the experience. Usually no associate there, but numerous customers waiting sometimes while some other customer can't make up their mind about their baby pix. When one does get an associate, the computer can't seem to find your order. Then they can't find your order. To keep it short, I can fill a cart full of shopping faster than pick up a single item often at walmart.com read more
