The pump asked for a weird number after using a valid credit card then I was directed to see the cashier a half block away What should have been a quick transaction lasted about twenty minutes!!! Plenty of snacks inside, but could use a few more pumps outside as they are always super busy. Gas prices are average but the biggest drawback is the restrooms. The mens room has only one urinal and one stall, both of which are fairly nasty. read more

Was stopping off at Maverick after getting a new cell phone. their caps to the big fuel tanks that are underground are set so high my oil pan hit one of them and broke it. I had to drive home without getting gas hoping to get home before I leaked out all the oil. I would like to say "THANKS MAVERICK FOR F*CKING UP MY CAR AND MY DAY. worst part is I had just replaced the last broken pan. F*ck I cant win. now I have to order another one. that will be my 3rd replacement. read more

So I'm headed home and I needed gas and ice for my cooler. This is a very new station and was not here last summer when I was here. A great location because you can stop there on your way to New Mexico or on your way to Flagstaff. I was headed towards Flagstaff. They have very nice bathrooms. Made for a great pit stop. The lay out inside is really nice. Who ever is in charge of these stores and putting together their sales floor, knows what they are doing. My big compliant is that they only had one size of crushed ice for sale. Way to big for my little cooler. So I put as much as I could into my cooler and was going to just throw the rest away. A guy pulled up in a big pickup truck, who looked like he needed ice. I asked if he needed any ice for his cooler and he said yes because he had a cut up Antelope he just hunted in the back and that he could always use more ice. This is the type of country I'm in people. I'm used to it. Gas was cheap. Its always cheaper in Arizona though. I will probably be by here at least once a year from now on. read more

July 28, 2017: This gas station was always good sized, with 12 gas pumps and a kitchen making food all day but last year they had an overhaul and added 4 more diesel pumps on the side of the building along with a free RV dump station in the back for the snowbirds who spend lots of time here on the mountain. Due to that and the location of this station being right on the corner of highways 77 and the 60 it is pretty much a madhouse all day everyday here. When they have 3 or more cashiers it runs smoothly tho, and they seem to try and have that as much as possible, if not always. Oh, one thing tho, if you want block ice they stopped selling it because they can make the bagged ice themselves in the store and it's all profit for them as opposed to having to buy block from Reddy ice, the signs say they do sell block ice but they don't. read more

I stopped in to get gas and lottery tickets. Had my mask on and gloves. Clerk Cassie had the misfortune to serve me. I asked to check 2 lottery tickets and buy additional Mega Millions. As she turned away, in my plain sight, she rolled her eyes into her head. I am so sorry I am a bother. Get another job then. You're in the service industry, so serve the customer without an attitude. This is normally my favorite place to stop and get gas, snacks and coffee. Well not anymore. Today we stopped by to pick up a coffee and there was no creamer, half and half or coffee mate to put in my coffee. I asked the cashier and she just said " we're out" with a bitchy look on her face. I know it's just a coffee but I don't want it if I don't have creamer in it. And, I didn't like her response. She could have offered to grab a milk or coffee mate because the store sells both. I did get a refund but they have lost a customer over something that had an easy fix. read more

Compared to the other gas stations in Show Low/Pinetop this one was great. The general exterior and gas pump area is kept clean and new looking. Gas pumping went as well as expected- you paid- you put the nozzle into the gas tank and filled it up until full- put gas cap back on and got a receipt. 5/5 experience. Would pump gas here again. read more
