The item was retrieved from in-store stock and scanned, but the price didn't match the online listing. When I explained I was in the process of purchasing it through Walmart.com, a manager was called over to help. That's when the situation went downhill. The manager immediately told me I couldn't get the online price unless I used Affirm (which wasn't true), then claimed the item had a different SKU (also false--it was confirmed to be the same). She kept shifting the reasoning to block the sale without checking policy or verifying anything I was showing her. I remained calm and respectful, but she continued to talk down to me and insisted I cancel the order--even though the item was in stock and ready. I even mentioned that I needed the item for an urgent project due the next day, but she showed zero concern and kept inventing new reasons I couldn't buy it. It felt more like a power play than a customer service decision. This isn't how any store should treat someone trying to make a legitimate purchase.
