I have always had excellent service with the pharmacy and staff at the CVS in Show Low.

I go their to get my medication, and they pharmacy always seems to be nice when I go there. The only down fall is that they are roughly 30 mikes away from where i live. They pharmacist with me most of thr time read more

Standard CVS pharmacy with usual short lines, clean store, over priced items and a minimal staff that try's their best.

Do NOT use this store and use Walgreens instead. The CVS in Show Low is chronically short of staff causing excessive delays and stressed out customer service from the employees who are working. There are serious problems here and the rude stressed out emplyees are not really at fault. The leadership at this store are the problem. read more

The gentleman (not sure his name, but I think it was David) who was working the register late a couple of nights ago went above and beyond helping me find the items I was looking for! And also, as I was checking out, I hand him a fake "preserved rose" I wanted to buy for my sister as a thank you gesture for my sister. Before ringing it up (my last item) the man asked me if I'd ever heard of a "Christmas Cactus" and said they had them. I didn't know abou em, and said I'd like to see one. He walked a short distance away and brought it to me. It was gorgeous and I bought two (one for my sister and one for my cabin)! read more

No, such thing as customer service. I'd like to think that the lack of customer service is because they're short-staffed, but I think it's a lack of training. The clerk that waited on me today has waited on me. 3 times , never a greeting, slow beyond belief. And never a thank you. I don't know where they find these people that want a paycheck, but they don't want to work for it. read more

The Pharmacy is always understaffed. They often shut the drive through down due to "Lack of staff." So people who are possibly ill are standing in a very long line. Bring your mask !!! I have not had any problems with the people working there but they definitely need more help in that department. read more

Nice, large CVS in Show Low, Arizona on E. Deuce of Clubs. The store is clean and well organized and has the same products as other CVS stores. We were greeted as we entered and staff was kind and helpful when answering questions. I recommend CVS Pharmacy and store. read more

It's amazing how many bad reviews there are for this CVS in Show Low. But they are right! I went in the middle of the day on a Thursday and then again on a Friday. The line for pharmacy pick up was very long both days. Only one person behind the counter and it looked like each person took at least 10 minutes!! So inefficient!! Several people, when they got to the counter suggested they start a number system so at least people could shop or sit in chairs while waiting. Lots of things the manager of this CVS could start to relieve the anxiety of their customers that are standing in line forever to get their drugs!! I for 1 will start using Amazon Pharmacy & have my drugs mailed to me! read more

Yet another complaint against this store. Last night, I grabbed my items for context less care and asked for a roll of quarters. The two people working at the cash register acted like I asked them for a rattlesnake Tye barely 18 year old female said "We don't do that, we don't give quarters out at all". I asked "Since when"? I've been coming here for 8 months, I get quarters here for the laundry. The girl wasn't having it. The guy with tattoos all over his face, standing at the register muttered to me "Toothless old bastard". Ah, thanks for demonstrating what you think of senior citizens. Cool deal! You're on blast now! Hey, no problem! I done have to shop at your CVS, in fact, I fully support CVS going out of business and being replaced by a Rite Aid. There is always a line no matter what time of the day it is and only one person checking customers up. Meds are promised for a certain time but never ready when you get there, so after waiting 20-30 min in line you have to wait another 10 min for them to "expedite" your medication order . No one answers the phone. This place is horrible. I'm sure they are understaffed, under paid, get them some help, offer overtime something! read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of bad pharmacies in my time. I've been here twice since I obviously didn't learn my lesson the first time I had to try it out a second time. Since they are close and have a pickup window it's kind of convenient to just stop on my way home. First I tried calling I was on hold for 43 minutes waiting for someone to answer by the time someone answered I was pulling into the lot and they said it was ready. Well the window is closed due to some "tube breaking this afternoon" The window always seems to be closed since I rarely see any cars and the last time I was there it was broken so I'm not to shocked. Unfortunately I have to go into CVS which is by itself a nightmare am I the only one that thinks it's depressing in there? That store suuuucks no wonder the workers aren't happy. Anyway I'm standing in line, 20-30 minutes of my life I'll never get back go by and finally I'm almost free to go home. Well only one of my prescriptions is ready so I have to go to the next window to see what's up. Their mistake they said, so they say we'll have this ready is 15-20 minutes. So I have to walk around this unorganized store wondering why things are in the places they are and why is a 12 pack of soda $11 everything is over priced 23 minutes go by so I go back to stand in line again. I finally get back up there to see if it's ready. They haven't called me on the speaker so I know it's not ready but I wanted to hear what kinda bs time frame they would give me to make me suffer in that prison they call work. No surprise they say it'll be ready in 15 more minutes. By this point I'm cured I don't even need my prescription Moral of the story go anywhere else but CVS, get your prescriptions delivered. To the workers find another place to work you'll be much happier And CVS just go out of business already who has been keeping you in business for so long? CVS Pharmacy - Overpriced 12 pack - Drugstores Near Me - SHOW LOW, Arizona

Unfortunately today's experience wasn't uncommon at CVS. One of my prescriptions is written for two months at a time, but filled monthly. It's considered a narcotic, pain medicine so even though I've been prescribed it for years, it's closely monitored. I live about 30 miles from town (one way) so I tried calling first to make sure it was ready. After being "on hold" for 33 minutes, I figured out driving there would be faster. Upon arrival, there was one person ahead of me. After a short wait I proceeded to the window to ask about my prescription. I was told to "go to the drop off window, then wait in that line." Fortunately it was a short wait. Unfortunately, the girl at that window is less than competent... I've delt with her before and she provides less than factual information. This time she told me they were out of my particular medication. But, they could order it and have it after 5 days. My doctor prescribes this for good reason. 5 days (maybe longer) of severe pain isn't going to be fun. Keep in mind they have had this particular script in hand for a month already. It's not like they were surprised by it. They refuse to transfer it to another pharmacy. I need to have my doctor provide a new prescription somewhere else. While I'm certain that can & will be done, it takes time. Not 5 days... but time. Oh and another 60 mile round trip to town & back. As this wasn't my first negative experience with CVS, I've decided to have my family physician and cardiologist also send my prescriptions elsewhere. This was at least their third strike. I'm done with them. It's easy to understand now why several stores nationwide, are closing. read more

The people in the pharmacy department used to be good. Now it seems that each and every one has an attitude. They are in no hurry to help the people in line and act as if the customers are disrupting their jobs. This week it was worse than usual. The store allowed the Girl Scouts to set up their table INSIDE the front door, so all the customers had to run the Girl Scout cookie gauntlet coming and going. This is embarrassing and extremely unprofessional on the part of CVS. read more

The site says that the pharmacy in Showlow opens at nine. It does not. It opens at 10. When I called the store to double check, the lady answering the phone said the time so fast I couldn't understand her. I called back and she refused to pick up the phone. I have nothing but trouble at this CVS. I highly suggest everyone go to Walgreens or any other place. NOT HERE! read more

Got first covid shot with appointment and waited 15 minutes which wasn't bad. Second shot automatically scheduled. Morning of appointment received text that second appointment had been canceled. No reason listed and no appointment rescheduled. Ended up going to another pharmacy where they botched up too. They should not offer appointments they cannot offer. Do not recommend. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. I went to Urgent Care and they sent my prescriptions here. We got there at 5:40. Then my husband had to come outside to get my insurance card and went back in. He waited. Then the pharmacist tells him right before 6 that he's technically closed now so we can't get my prescriptions until the next morning. Even though we were there well before 6 and I needed to start taking the meds right away. He refused to help and then told us to call them the next day to cancel if we got them somewhere else. Yeah right. Thanks to them tying up my prescriptions when we did go elsewhere it took an hour to get them released and filled. Horrible customer service. read more

The store is good, the pharmacy operation is awful. Was told to come for my flu shot 10 minutes early which I did and it was 20 minutes before I got to talk to anybody while staff was joking and on their phones with obvious non business conversations. After I checked in(I had registered everything online the day before) it was another 15 minutes of standing around before I got my shot. The intern giving the shot was very nice and gave a good injection. A lot of staff standing around doing nothing. I read all the other one star reviews and they were all about the pharmacy too. The more than one star reviews are about the store not the pharmacy. Management is non existent!!! read more

Literally the WORST most inefficient pharmacy I've ever visited. You call in a prescription days ahead but after waiting in a long line they tell you they haven't filled it since they are "way behind" and you have to wait again for it to be filled. This has happened twice, I tried to call before picking it up to make sure it was filled and the call was disconnected after waiting on hold 30+ minutes. Come on CVS you need to send out your regional director and determine the root cause, this community deserves better. read more

In a word...FRUSTRATING!!! If I could post negative stars I would! This is the WORST, I repeat, the WORST CVS pharmacy I have EVER had the displeasure if using. The store is fine, the RX, um not so much. My RX is NEVER ready when promised. It's so incredibly mismanaged that it's hard to believe they even get the drugs right. Drove into the drive-thru to pick up 2 prescriptions, and before we could figure out the cryptic signs, we were stuck in a line reserved for COVID testing only, with no way out. The person in front of us took over 20 minutes to complete her test, then sat there in her pickup for another 5 minutes. Finally I was able to drive up to the window and had to press the call button to get a response. I asked for my 2 meds, which were prepaid, and was curtly told that I couldn't get them, to come into the store. I replied that I was going to be late for a dental appt. in Heber, which of course fell on deaf ears and was again told to drive around and come into the store. So, like a madman, and I WAS mad, I did so, and got out of Dodge just in time to make my appointment in Heber. End of rant. What a sorry system, and you can believe I told them so! read more

Absolutely the most horrible experience I have ever had at a retail store. Covid-19 test cancelled via text and I rescheduled for the next day. I showed up on time and waited in a line for three hours to be told that they couldn't do the test after ignoring me at the drive through window. Staff informed me that corporate would not allow them to cancel and they did not know how to input the test information. I do not understand taking a simple photocopy of information and performing the test. OR at least tell all of the people in line the truth and send them home. Being stuck in a line of cars with no way out but forward! I was the third in line and there were at least seven vehicles behind me. AVOID this business! Larry J. I registered online in advance for an appointment for the drive up COVID testing. My phone was blown up with numerous texts confirming my appointment and even on the day of. I arrive early to get my test done and I was told the person administering the tests "called in sick and I would have to reschedule online"...again. I asked why I wasn't notified of my appointment being cancelled and why I continued to receive messages before my appointment confirming I would show up. I was told..."well, we are short staffed." I work in healthcare, and being "short staffed" in never an acceptable excuse for anything. I had to drive quite a ways to get to this CVS which was a complete waste of my time. I did receive a call 20 mins AFTER my scheduled appointment to inform me I needed to reschedule due to a call in AFTER I was already turned away. And...they left the wrong call back number.
