Bought leggings a day ago at the Eugene store. Went back today to get some more. None on the shelf in a certain color were on the shelf. Went home and called the Springfield store. First call was disconnected before I was able to speak to the Associate. Second call was disconnected in the middle of the conversation, before I could get an answer about a second color of the leggings, but after I was told to "come down and look". (No, I shouldn't have to drive all the way to another city to look myself. The CSR is in the store! Why can't she look?? P.S. I'm disabled! Third call to the store was disconnected before I could get to speak to a CSR. Fourth call to the store was disconnected too before I could ask for the manager instead of CS. I am going to write on Yelp every time I have a negative experience with any Walmart problem. Walmart's management does not care, but maybe other shoppers will. read more

This fricken Walmart seems to always be out of things and rarely restocked. What can I expect, it's a Walmart. But being a "Super Walmart" you'd think they'd do a bit better with getting their inventory ordered and on the shelves. Went to find a bike for my kiddo and, NO JOKE, there were 3 total bikes for boys. Even better, took me forever to find someone to assist in getting a bike down to try. Asked two younger teen looking associates for help and was told they didn't work in that department and wait for this guy here to help (who was helping someone else). I walked away back to the bikes to try myself and an old short gramma employee came over to help and could barely get it down. She was quite bossy too in telling me which bike my kid would fit on regardless of the two I told her I wanted to look at and have him try. Felt so bad for my boy. Let down once again. Never a dull moment at Walsmart! read more

EMBARASSING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went in to get pictures printed for a Christmas gift at the photo kiosk, there was only one woman working with a small line 3-4 people checking out and four people at the kiosk's waiting to be helped. One kiosk needed printing paper, another wouldn't connect to the guys phone and two need an employee to unlock them to be used. One man informed me that he had been waiting for a while and the woman had not even acknowledged them yet. after 10 mins finally I asked her if there was someone who could assist us and was informed that she was the only one working in that department right now. So I asked, "does that mean you are not going to help us? your job is to just stand there and ring people up and screw us who need photos done for our families?" She didn't even respond, just stood there ringing people up, customers continued to get in line and be helped while she ignored those who had been waiting 20 mins + Everyone ended up just walking away and not getting photos. I found another employee and asked if there was someone who could come unlock the kiosk and she told me the only one working who could do it was the woman at the counter who couldn't care less. I will never shop at this Walmart ever again. read more

Go in to print one picture and they shut off the printers 15 minutes before the area closed. Although the person apologized the whole point is to provide service to your customers while you are within business hours. Drove all the way to this store because the website said printing was still open. This is one of the most frustrating things to do to your consumers, change the time you close if you want to close up shop early. read more

I like this Walmart maybe a little better than the other ones I've been to. Not sure why. I like how no one bothers me while I get in and get out. I like the self-checkout. I'm glad they hire mentally handicapped people (pardon the pc language). Those people deserve to work for money if they choose to. Lots of people try to make a stink about that, saying it's unfair treatment because they get paid less. Total nonsense! The other option is they don't get hired & paid at all! I also think it's retarded to say that businesses should be required to hire mentally handicap (sic) people and pay them a regular wage. That is just dysfunctional and also abusive to businesses who can't afford to pay just as high wage if the work isn't up to par. Have a heart for business owners and have a heart for handicapped folks. Let the economy flow instead of bogging it down with dingbat dysfunctional nazi-type rules. Thumbs up to Walmart in this regard. Walmart is a great place to go for a wide variety of stuff, except that I don't feel very good about spending money there. Why check all reciepts if they arnt going to actually look at them? I live around the fuckin corner. I'm not going to steal anything. They pick me out while I'm shopping and ask me if I'm shoplifting, follow me around and double check my bags when I leave. RUDE. The only reason I shop there is because I'm disabled,i have a limited income and its close to home. Customer service sucks, their attitudes suck, their prices suck, parking sucks, and it stinks! The floor is filthy, all surfaces are dirty and covered in greasy fingerprints and the cart guys are oblivious to any car parked in the lot. I was in there today, I had intended to buy just a couple of items, and ended up getting way more, well I got a little basket and the cashier an older lady, kept giving me dirty looks as she rang me up, and acted annoyed that I had it all in a basket instead of a cart, and just rude over all, did not get her name, but I was at the register across from service if that helps. We went to try and get fake nails and when we got there we noticed a security lock on the nails so we went to try and find an employee to help us and she had said she already put the key back so we asked her to go get it and she said she was too tired from all that walking to go get the key again. It's her fault for putting the key back she shouldn't have done that especially since there's still people shopping in the beauty section of the store. I would highly recommend not going to the Walmart in Springfield, Oregon the nightshift workers there don't know what their doing and they are highly rude and disrespectful to their customers I know it's extra gas but go to any one in Eugene, Oregon or better yet go to target they are not disrespectful and they will do anything for their customers. read more

It's all about YIKES! We have been shopping at this Walmart, on 28th and Olympic St here in Springfield. Last night around 7PM my girlfriend and I headed out to get our shopping down. Ended up leaving with two full bags, not alot but enough. We checked out on isle "1" just before the employee was ready to get off for the night, when we headed back she was off. Back to the horror we went through. After getting home my girlfriend or course went through the receipt and make sure we had gotten everything then she noticed two items on the receipt that didn't make since Scented Oil by Great Value, she asked if I knew anything about this and of course not. Went online and found it to be Great Value Scented Oil Refill for $1.47. The cashier..and of course this can be verified by watching us walk through the store though video, rang up our items..we NEVER buy Great value or low dollar products, the casher swipped through two Great Value Scented Oil Refills, pocketed the items and charged us for this. again all can be verified though store video, which they will see we NEVER went down the isle where these are at. We are scent free people, never wear anything that smells. We went back to the store and the mananger on duty wasn't liking what was going on and did refund us..still don't make up for the dishonest cashier that just stolen property from the place she works. I hope they read this, look at the video and see what happened. If Walmart wants to get a hold of us to back this up...please do. I'm logged in with Facebook and easy to contact! read more

Got in line between 1045 and 11 p.m. As usual, they have ONE cashier open. No self check lanes, nothing extra. 20 plus people in line and no extra help. Finally one person comes up and her lane is stopped because they needed a CSM to void a sale. Ended up, what could have taken five minutes or less in rage scan and go, ended up being a 45+ minute wait. One person even complained to Clayton or Clifton the CSM and that dude rolled his eyes at the customer and walked away. NEVER have I seen such bad customer service from a major retail store. read more

This Walmart in Springfield, OR, on Olympic Street is open 24 HOURS!!!! Yelp, you can be very stupid! I almost didn't go to Walmart tonight because of you!!!! Which is really annoying, because there are some things that I need for my surgery on Tuesday... I mentioned to my boyfriend that this Walmart is closed. He said, no, it's open 24 hours. So, I double-checked on Walmart's website, and yes it is open 24 HOURS!!!!! Next time, when I am looking for the store hours, of any store, I will be sure to go to the source... Don't really have a problem with this store however I do have a major problem with online shopping at Walmart! Don't bother to get an extended warranty because you will simply be throwing away your money since they do not stand behind their products. I bought a 40" TV a couple months ago and the sound is going out already. Contacted the Customer Care (thats a joke) and they told me I would have to box it up and send it back? No repair just send it back. I explained that I was not going to do that and for them to simply send a replacement set to the Springfield store and I would exchange it. Nope cant do that? Bottom line is Walmart stores and online are two different company's with the online store being worthless!!! I for one will never use Walmart online shopping again!!! I ordered a set of tires online, (a brand not stocked in the store) and the delivery date quoted around 10 days...they arrived in 2 days! (super fast), the tire service had them mounted and I was out the door in less than an hour, they were friendly and helpful, and the experience was much smoother than shopping at a commercial tire store...and the price was great. I will gladly shop here again. read more

Shopped at Walmart # 3239 around 8:30 PM last night 6/13/14 and went up front to check out. Only 2 REGULAR CHECKOUTS Were OPEN and 10 + people in those 2 lines cking out!!! AND ONLY 4 out of 8 SELF CHECKOUT stands were open!!! And had 12+ people WAITING IN LINE TO USE THEM. Only 1 associate [about a 20 yr old young man] was doing all he could to keep the line moving. I asked him WHERE WAS THE MANAGER OR CO MANAGER- he said they are around here SOMEWHERE...and then 10 minutes later when we FINALLY got to check out I asked him why did he NOT call the Manager/co-Manager..and he said he didn't have time...he was to busy!!! My daughter Is a Co-Manager at one of the Walmarts in Texas...and THIS WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER HAPPENED AT HER STORE...!!!
