This may be the worst Wal- mart in the country. No products on the shelves. Line to check out were all 20 deep. But there the on line shoppers all over the store but because they charge more for the same products when you buy on line then tell you your getting it free. I won't go back. read more

This is the go-to place to get your goods while in Door County. My husband and I always stop to rent Redbox movies and pick up any items we may have forgotten at home. Our last visit was during the COVID-19 era. Everyone I saw (employees and customers) all had masks and were very respectful. The employees have always been very nice and helpful when I have visited. The shelves are always stocked and I have never experienced an issue with not getting exactly what I came for. This Walmart and the one in Richland, Wisconsin, are the 2 best Walmarts I have ever visited in regard to cleanliness, friendliness, and dependability. It is a 5 star Walmart, I just can't bring myself to give a Walmart 5 stars based on principle and previous experience with the corporation that owns Walmart (sorry Sturgeon Bay Walmart; it's not you, it's me). read more

I tried to return a dead car battery to get the core charge back and the emoyee working customer service asked what was wrong with the battery and said I needed a receipt. For a battery at least 5 years old? went elsewhere. today I wanted to exchange a box of protein bars that were unsealed inside the box and the same gal cut me off midsentence to tell me they dont do exchanges. when I asked for her manager she found a way to help. but the rudeness.. unbelievable. This Walmart has steadily been going downhill but my last trip was the last straw. I refuse to subject myself to self-checkout, and there was only one regular checkout line open with 8-9 customers waiting...mostly elderly like me. A lady ahead of me went to find the manager to ask to have another checkout line opened. She was told that she (the manager) "was only allowed to have one line open at a time." WHAT??? So we waited...and waited... When I got close enough to see who was doing the checkout process, it was a new employee (non-English speaking) who had to be slowly helped through the procedure by a regular employee. It took 35 minutes for me to get from the back of the line to the end. From now on I'll drive to Green Bay or go to the grocery store in Sturgeon Bay. I'm DONE with this Walmart. read more

I stopped here on Friday to pick up a few things. While the selection and prices were good, there were some definite issues in the store. First of all while shopping it was easy to see all the dirt on the floor. Paper, stickers and dust bunnies were prevalent everywhere. While I understand a busy store will get dirty, this was way beyond normal. The floors had not been mopped or swept for days. The bathroom had paper everywhere. When I got to the checkout area, there were only 2 lines open with checkers, yet the lines were well back into the merchandise area. The self check out was overcrowded as well with only one person there to help. I waited over 40 minutes to get checked out. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told no one was available. If I had not needed the few items I was buying I would have left my cart and gone home, but what I was purchasing were medical items. Next time I need something I will definitely find somewhere else to shop!!!!! read more

Yes! They have a super Wal-Mart in Sturgeon Bay. This one rd comparable to most big city Wal-Mart stores. The prices are a little higher, but not much. I found everything I was looking for in a very short time. Since I live here now, I will definatly be a regular. read more

Not much I like about walmart and being the only place to really go for stuff you need besides groceries, one is forced here or drive 50 minutes away to green bay. being elderly I sometimes have to use a riding cart, which is a horror story all of its own, but today I walked. I got to the back of the store and ran out of energy. I could feel my heart was going to fast and needed a place to sit for a few minutes. There was nowhere to sit. They removed all the benches. I thought I was going to pass out so I leaned on some boxes that I thought were sturdy enough. I noticed another elderly man was also perched near by leaning over some boxes also taking a break. When I made it to the front of the store an hour later, because by this time I needed a few more breaks I asked at the service desk if they consider putting the benches back. they said they got rid of them. Not sure how I feel about that, but I know woodman's will be seeing me as a customer more. sorry walmart, you fail the care for your elderly test. read more

Nice Walmart! People are very helpful there. It's got everything you need ( reasonably) unlike the piggly wiggly in sister bay!

Whole new superwalmart is in town. The old one was pretty drab. The staff needs to up their game a bit but this is far better than the old store with wide aisles, quick checkout and much more selection. read more

Wandered into this Wal-mart while on vacay in Sturgeon Bay and in need of some skewers/marshmallows. Honestly, it's like every Wal-mart in the whole world--a bit cheerier, in fact. An employee helped me find my skewers easily, the line wasn't long, and the parking lot was big. What more can you ask for in a generic big box? read more

Nicest Walmart I've ever been to. No lines, super friendly employees. Jennifer at the money center was very sweet and helpful.

This Walmart defintely needs and upgrade to a super center and a new parking lot. The aisles are a bit tight and the departments appear unkempt. Otherwise, I found what I was looking for very easily. read more
