Prices are good , but merchandise is often out of stock. Half the employees have bad attitudes and don't speak English so they can't help the customers. Not deserving of even one star. This location is absolutely filthy, disorganized and majority of the staff demonstrate rude and inconsiderate behavior. There's a poor work ethic which is evident in the organizational climate and culture here. The floors are unkempt, store shelves are dirty and frequently under stocked. There has been multiple times where it was observed that opened and1/2 eaten food were lying on shelves, spills and piles of dirt laying openly on the floor, refrigerated items left on shelves of other departments.... Bathrooms are filthy and poorly maintained! Please avoid at all costs! Placing orders for pick up is always a gamble! Save on a trip to Vegas and just place your order here. Will they lose it, forget about it, or leave you waiting for 45 minutes while "it will be right out". Don't bother asking staff to assist if you do happen to locate a random employee- they "don't know" ‍or won't even know what your talking about, despite providing them with a visual on your phone. Some have pretended not to speak the same language to avoid assisting customers. (When it was observed otherwise in the moments surrounding the request.) Save your energy and avoid the headache of dealing with unprofessional behavior, filthy and deplorable conditions, and excessive amounts of lost time, visit Target and/or Giant down the street! The Walmart superstore here in Temple Pennsylvania has to be the worst Walmart store in the world. It didn't start this way, but it certainly has become that. Today, after a particularly unenjoyable visit, I took some pictures and decided to write this review. The first picture shows how convenient this Temple Walmart is, because if you have some garbage in hand you can just throw it wherever you want. The second and third pictures show that the shopping carts are a favorite place to throw garbage that you don't want to keep. But don't worry. The Walmart staff will certainly clean those carts before putting them out for you to use again in a clean entrance area. (pictures 4 and 5). I'm not saying this store is a favorite place for thieves, but while doing self check out I noticed that they have installed cameras to watch (6th picture). Here at Temple Walmart, if you change your mind about a purchase, no need to take it back to where you got it. Just put it in with the soft drinks. (7th and 8th pictures) Finally, while getting to my car, I saw a woman finish loading hers, get in and drive away leaving her cart here (last picture) I'm not even mentioning the long lines at the cashier with scores of unmanned registers or the trash thrown around inside the store on dirty floors. I went to walmart auto care department on 5.16.24 To get an oil change when I took the car in there. I know there was no damage is done to my car. I just got the car a couple of months before that. So anyway I do a little shopping. They call me 45 minutes later and tell me the car is done. I go back there. Wait maybe like another 10 minutes. Then the lady checks me out. I walk outside. I see the 3 gentlemen in the back. I say to the gentleman, thank you. Have a nice day. They also said You to thank you. So now I'm walking to my vehicle where they parked it as I'm walking to my vehicle. I see scratches on my vehicle on the bottom of the I walk around the car to the driver's side. I see another little scratch on the door I get the paper that they give you. That says everything they've done to your car on the paper that they gave me. It says description of the images before service NONE So I walked back down there and I tell the gentleman. There are some scratches on my car. He's like there's no scratches on your car. Like yeah, they are. He walks back up there. He tries to tell me the scratch has been on my car. No, they weren't, and this paper clearly says. Before you did any service on my car, there was no damage done to my car. I asked him to get his manager and his supervisor they came outside. They went to go look at a camera or a video of it. They came back out and told me there's no way he could have done this to your car. Also, but and I said to them. Also, do you clearly not see this paper? That says there was no damage. You've done to my car before. He did any service to my car. I will never shop at Walmart agand. I and I'm very disappoinbecause I because I used to take my other car there. And I never had any problems so and the way they treated me and the way those gentlemen, talk to me. I'm not even gonna call them. Gentlemen, cause they're not. They were rude. All of them we're rude. I had to call and make a police report. The manager told me alright when you call the police and they come tell them to come find me so disrespectful. This warranty cannot be trusted Terrible customer service. I purchased a carpet washer with 3 months of return. I used it 1 time and it did not do the work, it just messed up my carpet leaving it wet and worst. I tries to return it but these people at customer service did not acept the return, said that the serial of the equipment was that the same than the serial of the receipt, that pissed me up because this was the only carper washer I have purchesed in my life and I never had one of these in my house, they sold me a damaged or low quality equipment, they did not want to give me the warranty and lied to me saying that the serial of the equipment dp mpt match with the receipt. I will never buy any equipmemt from this Walmart and I don't recommend neither. Very rude and unpolite service and lies about the warranty. read more

Three stars is generous. This place is usually dirty, it was clean today. Shelves were well stocked. Longs were line and many registers were closed I found a few expired yogurts and gave them to an employee working in the dairy area. Competitive prices. read more

This is a awesome Walmart to shop at. The service is great and the products are awesome with nice prices. The only thing is that at times there's a nasty smell that lingers outside the store due to the mushroom factory near by and the store is very messy outside and around the shopping cart area plus at times there's workers without the mask or below the nose. read more

An older Walmart, that has been going through some upgrades over the recent years, including increased aisle spacing and additional self check-out lanes. Despite the additional spacing, it still seems a little more cramped than newer Walmarts. On top of that, add the typical local shopper that leaves carts in the middle of the aisle, clueless to other shoppers around them. Staff can be helpful at times, clueless at others. Sometimes this place feels like a daycare, where local parents let their kids run free while they shop, without a care in the world as to how their children's behavior may be impacting other shoppers. Usually long lines, as this location doesnt seem to be able to get their cashier staffing figured out. Despite the recent addition of more self check-out lines, the lines at the regular check-outs continue. It may be too early to tell if there will be a positive effect on the lines. The line at the return/customer service desk can also be a test of one's patience. For a better, if not slightly more expensive shopping experience, go to either the Giant or Target just a few miles down the road. Or, if you have to go to Walmart, go to the Super Walmart about 15 min up the road in Hamburg. read more

Good location. This store however, has just turned to garbage, it used to be good, but people just ruined it.

I place this location in the 3.5 star category (hence rounding it up to 4). As of recent, it does look like they're making improvements. Over the last few months they removed a few checkout isles to make room for more self-checkouts. That alone seems to be helping traffic run smoother. Before this, at times you'd see a line of customers backing up into the clothing section. And that's just the "20 items or less" crowd. In regards to the overall layout itself, it looks okay in my book. There's enough room to walk your cart throughout all the isles. Just be aware though that the main paths have various product displays in the middle (especially on the groceries side). That leaves just enough space for you and your cart when walking in one direction or the other. The problem with this is that not everyone will be going in the same direction. I figure it's due to people trying to get out each other's way because of the displays themselves. As for the isles, for the most part they're in decent shape (at least the grocery section). It looks like the staff are doing what they can to keep the shelving stocked and presentable. Occasionally you'll find some gaps here and there. I don't see that as much of an issue though as everything I've looked for was available. You just have to reach further back to get it. Overall I'd consider this a decent location. For those who are simply going in to get what they need, then it servers it's purpose well. read more

Literally the largest Walmart I have ever been in, and I've been to a lot of Walmarts. This particular Walmart has a very functional layout, which includes a Subway, eye center, nail salon/hair salon, and money center. The whole store was very clean and well kept. Dad and I were venturing in for some board games to keep my grandparents occupied and we were browsing and struck up conversation with Fonzie, an employee of this particular Walmart. He was so pleasant, helped us select some games, and we had just a great time chatting with him. The only drawback of this Walmart that I saw was the fact that the carts were piling up in the cart corral outside, so much so that they were starting to stick out into the driving lanes of the parking lot. read more

Some employees stocking items and working with shopping carts not wearing masks or are wearing them below their nose or chin. Some customers also entered the store and shopped around with no masks. I feel bad leaving this review, but if you live with someone who is elderly or immunocompromised I would encourage you to shop elsewhere as covid-19 can last on surfaces for days. read more

I was just on the phone with an associate from electronics and she put me on hold for 40mins. Then our call mysteriously disconnected. So I called back only to have nothing but rudeness. They act like it's my fault that they couldn't find the dvd. Last time they were so inconsiderate that they had me looking for John Wick2 for over 2 hours. Went into this Walmart 2/26/2017 about 12:30pm. Specifically to see what kinds of meats they had and if I could afford it. Meat prices are higher than virtually all other area grocery stores. I got to the Seafood section heading toward the meats sections. I turned the corner and they had some supposed never frozen fresh fish and burger followed that. Then I noticed shelving completely void of meats. I stepped back and looked down the aisle of meats and I was shocked. I would say 1/2 to 3/4 of the meat "row" was EMPTY. I don't know but I think Sam Walton would have been completely pissed if he saw that. Course, since the Great Sam is no longer with us Walmart has become just like KFC. They run FAKE Colonels out there and what Kentucky Fried Chicken needs to do is COOK THE CHICKEN LIKE THE REAL COLONEL USED TO. All 11 herbs and spices, cooked in pressure cookers and make it FINGER LICKIN' GOOD. The REAL Colonel is somewhere ASHAMED OF KFC. Sorry but I have seen way too much of this over my 57 years. Original people who started businesses that grew into huge national and multi-national companies then passed on, the people taking over see HUGE $$$$$ and start retracting everything the original owner had in place. Same with Walmart. Virtually no meat. I happened to go by the hot food section and was looking to get something for Denise and I for dinner. The only 2 employees were standing there face to face. I couldn't hear what they were saying but it was either the woman giving the young man a dressing down or it was personal chat. Don't know don't care but it was at the WRONG TIME. The young man seemed not to be doing any talking, just listening. This was about 1pm. So I moved on to the empty meat department then picked up a couple of things and decided to re-look at the hot food. This was about 2pm by now mind you. The two I mentioned before were STILL standing in the SAME PLACE, woman still talking to the young guy and neither one looking around for customers. I watched as two couples with kids go to where they have the hot meat, chicken and the like. They waited and waited for what seemed like a few minutes and neither one of the two that had been standing there talking ever looked up to see if customers were there. Whatever they were talking about must have been so damn important they forgot they were supposed to be WORKING. Then I strolled up and got the same treatment. So I picked up a box of hot chicken 8 piece and went to check out. Now I need to back up. The meat dept. seemed unmanned. I went back to the double doors and looked in. A man, the butcher, the meat putter outer? Don't know, he was on a damn cell phone. A wheeled tray cart was sitting there which looked like it was full of meat. Now, lets say I was working in the meat dept. I come in look and say oh my gosh most of the shelves are empty. I would immediately get to work FIXING the damn problem. The way it looked the meat dept had been empty for quite some time. Cell phone, SERIOUSLY? EMPLOYEES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE CELL PHONES WHILE THEY ARE ON THE CLOCK PERIOD! People are ADDICTED to them just like drugs, alcohol and the rest of the crutches people use today. When you are working for Walmart, well you are WORKING for Walmart not the damn phone. Oh, use it on break? BS, there should be NO ACCESS to the phone at ANY TIME. What the hell is so damn important hmmm? Why do people have to have them in their hands 24/7? It is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Now there is a MEDICAL hand problem with people holding cell phones all the time. Messes their hand(s) up. Next, what? Can't work because of cell phone hand? OMG folks, people need to get a grip on REALITY. Got home and opened the chicken. They put the lightest side of the chicken so you could see that but the underside was BURNED. The damn coating was so hard Denise or I could not eat it. Seriously? If Walmart wants to serve up hot food, you need to HIRE SOME PEOPLE THAT KNOW HOW TO COOK!. Deli department apparently is looking to save money buy PRE-SLICING meats and cheeses. Guess what happens when you do that? It DRIES OUT AND BECOMES HARD. A deli has always cut FRESH off the chubs of meat or blocks of cheese. Pre-slicing things, first you don't know when it was done, you are there at 1pm, but it was sliced at 3:30am that morning? Can't tell, don't know, would you buy? Not me. Also, they leave it in the "air", no covering it or wrapping it. Exactly what kind of airborne bacteria might get into pre-sliced food? It's NOT as cool as you think in them coolers, there are either NO DOORS or they are ALWAYS left open. Unsanitary is what I call it. Not slicing fresh. No wonder Warren Buffett sold all his Walmart stock. Does he see something coming that isn't good for Walmart? hmmm I wonder! read more

I went to pick up a medicine at the pharmacy and I had a gallon of milk and a couple of vitamins. When I try to pay for everything they told me I can't pay there for anything else but the medicines. I told them I always paid for small quantities of items but they said that have a line and can't do it. So I have to go to the cash register and do another line to pay for 3 additional items.
