Warning Warning Warning!¡! Do not take your car for service in Automotive Department. This store is so poorly managed. They WILL NOT answer the phone. I had to go thru Pharmacy to even reach an associate, whom still could not locate the Store Manager or Automotive Manager. I am on my 5th call to the Corporate office. My car was returned to me without being put back together. I did not know this until my drive home. I cannot drive my car for 3 days now due to their negligence. While my intentions was to pay for a service they offered, instead now it is costing me money. I highly discourage anyone taking their car there. read more

Not only is this place gross, they are horrible to work for. There are roaches in the registers and actually IN some of the fruit-check under banana stickers yall!! warm frozen/cold goods are out back for purchase. The management is TOXIC as an employee. You'll be lied to, told that missing a couple days due to severe gastro Illness will be taken off and you'll be fine....unless a team lead doesn't like you ‍ I was dumb and trusted management, my coach and my team. This store is so unsanitary and forget about getting help. Customer service people are rude and don't care about you at all and will chat with each other while you're standing right there. They deliberately ignore you until they feel ready to do their job. I've never experienced such a horrible major store as this one. Products are hard to find, most of areas of store are in disarray, and I feel literally like I need to shower when I come home from being here. Lots of dirty people here and this place smells. It's a horrible experience and I do most my shopping at Target, local grocers now and Amazon just to avoid this place. Should be torn down and replaced with a nicer shop of some sort. read more

Girlfriend picked up Christmas decorations there and they loaded it in her cart for her. 2 of the bags carrying all of the little stuff never made it in the cart so I went back and asked where it's all at. It's Walmart. They sell almost everything and some of those things are a reasonable price. However do some shopping around because a lot of their stuff isn't as cheap as you would think. We as a society have been told for years that they are the cheapest but in fact their prices have been rising steadily for some time. You can get better quality meats and veggies at local butchers and grocery stores. As far as service goes....it sucks. However what do you expect from a bunch of mouth breathers who made enough poor life decisions to end up working for Walmart. I have NEVER left a yelp review before, but I am so upset, I feel I have no choice. The Walmarts (3) in Valdosta have no customer service and actually have EXTREMELY rude employees. I tried to get customer service to answer, at all the Walmarts, by phone and no one answered. I even tried to call different departments and still no answer. I finally called the pharmacy and the lady that first answered said she would try to get a manager to talk to me, and another employee picked up the phone and told me she didn't want me to wait for something that wasn't going to happen. She told me even when the pharmacy staff needs something and tries to get a manager they will not respond. I also had a purchase from Walmart.com that was over $100. It never showed up and when I was finally able to reach someone at Walmart.com, they said the product was no longer available because the seller was suspect. I had purchased the garden cart 3-4 days prior. All of a sudden when I called and wanted to know where it was, the seller is suspect. They did refund my $, but as it was paid for by a debit card, it will take quite a while before I can purchase a different one. I asked for a gift certificate to buy another immediately, as I am in need of it, but they "couldn't" give one. I am really not a happier camper, and won't be visiting Walmart any time soon. read more

It's a Walmart So what are you expecting. Compared to other Walmart's it's clean and seems to be run pretty well. Someone should keep a better eye on their stock as I've been in several times for certain things and they are always out of stock. They have most of what you need which makes it convenient. Everyone knows Walmart so there isn't anything to be surprised about here. Much better than the Wal-Mart by the interstate. But still a Wal-Mart. If you're shopping for produce/meat, the Publix next door is probably your best bet. It's usually understaffed, so don't go in there unless you know what you need. Additionally, if you can't find something, there's almost always a sign to point you in the correct direction if you just look. I also found the Electronics staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable- if you can find one. Also I have it on good authority this Wal-Mart is about to get a Burger King and a built-in beer/wine cooler in the back. So that's cool. My main complaint is low in stock levels and a lack of staff, as usual with these stores. Maybe Big W will wake up and change their game plan. read more

This is my favorite Walmart to come to. Recently they have not had the big bags of David's sunflower seeds or cod fish in stock. They have random tables with unorganized stuff on them all around the store. The store is not clean. I am very disappointed with this store. read more

If you need new eye glasses try "Americas Best" It is amazing that Walmart lets a guy named Kyle work in the eyeglass department with no supervision. I ordered 2 pair of glasses form the Inner Perimeter Rd store and everything went great UNTIL i picked them up and had to deal with KYLE. This guy is the worst customer service people person I have dealt with in a long time. He was adjusting my glasses and when I asked for more adjustments he had the nerve to tell me that this is how they are supposed to be and threw up a attitude. I have been wearing glasses for 50 years and i believe I know what works for me. His ego knew different thou. To add to my crazy experience I picked up 2 items in the vision center and 1 item from the store. Kyle refused to ring me up stating SOME of the items may not ring up. This guy is a pure egotistical bum and how he could be the face of Walmarts Vision center blows my mind. read more

I went through Walmart pick up and a older lady came to my car with the groceries she gave me the total and I gave her one of my cards and then she asked for my pin number to my card because she didn't want me to touch the pin pad. I asked her why she needed my pin number that is private information and she should not be asking for that and she said because I have to protect myself from you. I said excuse me. She said because I have to protect myself from you again. I became extremely angry so I asked for a manager to come. And she did not get a manager. I walked into the Store to get a manager because I have been trying to call and no one would answer the phone. And I tried sevral times. I end up getting someone from the customer service area like a customer service manager I explain to her what was going on she did not even understand why the lady was asking for of my pin number because they're not supposed to do that. The lady that was the one that brought the groceries out didn't want to deal with me because she knew how pissed I was so she got 1 of her fellow Coworkers to load the groceries to my car because she did not want to touch my car then he smashed my bread and slammed the hatch of my car. The lady turned around and went to the car next to me who was white couple or family took off her gloves and mask and let them touch the pad to put in their information. I consider this a racist act against me and my family. We are white but it should not matter the color of a person. read more

Ok, sure this place is cheap and open 24/7. The praise ends there. The meat spoils in mere days unless frozen immediately, the produce is often moldy or near ruined on the shelf. If you happen to find an item you like then most likely you will find that item is never in stock again. The staff is unfriendly, hard to find, and can't seem to answer simple questions. The aisles are always blocked with inventory at night no matter how early or late you go. If an item is priced incorrectly don't expect them to correct it even if it's only .25. If an item is not priced at all they may as well throw it out because even if you want it the cashiers have no idea what to do. They say they match competitors but they make it an incredible hassle so there is really no reason even wasting your time. It seems like their motto is the customer is always wrong. Calling to ask anything is pointless, no one ever answers the phone and if they do it is made clear it's a bother to answer the question (not that they will have an answer.) Now don't get me wrong, this place is not under staffed. There are always tons of workers in the parking lot or outside by the carts, they just seem to do nothing. I would like to thank Buster the manager for taking the time to listen to me even though I knew he was busy but he stopped to listen anyway, see it has always been a dream of mine to work at walmart I had been trying for the past 15 years I am from Va, and I tried there first, I never have had an interview he saw in my eyes that I talked from the heart, he said put your application in and I will take a look at it so I just did, and I passed the assessment test, maybe there is hope after all. in general I love walmart the prices are as good as you can get considering the times we live in. Not sure why make a big deal about this stupid store, it's practically the only place you can come to if you want to find everything you need. I just feel like people try to make wal-mart is ghetto and as trashy as they'd like, why not keep wal-mart a little neater and cleaner? Or else hire workers who are willing to work and keep the place up, oh well, there's someone who works at the wal-mart on Norman and they keep it up pretty much all the time while the other workers slack off and laze around--that's taking advantage of one man who they feel like they can call whenever they need him. Maintenance is not his only job, he has other things to do besides clean toilets after people have befouled them. Like I say, I'm not going to put too much emphasis on this store, it's like any other wal-mart except in Houston they are much more worse and never shop in Houston at a wal-mart at night unless you want your car vandalized and or stolen, and of course, unless you want to live in general. So this wal-mart is pretty safer than the ones I've visited in the bigger cities. I don't mind coming to either wal-mart here at night, I like to go sometimes just to grab a few things.
