Walmart, Wally World... whatever you call it it's definitely the same almost anywhere you go. It's very rare that I go to Walmart and have a stellar experience. I walked in and the staff that I encountered all seemed nice, I don't think they're big on customer service so I can't really speak on that. They were out of a lot of clothes and that's what I was looking for on this trip. No leggings, socks or anybody in that section to help. I will tell you what Walmart is good for, hiring people to LOOK like they're busy. I watched one of the employees stay on her phone, randomly move items from one shelf to another and then move it back while her coworkers all seemed way more productive than her. read more

So, if your arcade change machine doesn't work, and you don't offer change to customers who want to play games, try not to roll you eyes when they ask if you offer change.....seriously. Put a sign in the stupid non working machine if you have a problem answering a simple question. Don't be an a**hole to a 10 year old kid!!!! I asked at the money services counter and could hardly hear what she said. Then I asked the 'greeter' who checks to see if you paid for un bagged goods. When I first approached, there were two employees, then the woman walked away and the greeter stepped around me to hug someone behind me. Fine. Then as I stand there he looks around us and doesn't acknowledge we're standing there in front of him. So, after two 'excuse me"s and my asking THE CHANGE question, he rolls his eyes.....NOT cool. This location is the worst. Dispensed my pick up order to someone else. The store could not do the refund. I had to call 1800 number. That took another 15 minutes to get a human. Then was told it would take 3 weeks to n get a refund! Told them needed the money back asap. The customer service (not) said they had a department to handle that and transfered me. Lied. There is no such department. In the past I have had many items missing in my pick up orders, bad produce in pick up orders. Very difficult to even get through. No one answers the phone. I'm visiting from Atlanta. This Walmart is huge not to mention plentiful. Next road trip I will be loading up here . The variety is good and they have items we don't have. All refrigerated items are behind glass doors. No more open shelving. I liked that but not good for someone in a motorized scooter. The only negative was I asked a floor person for help finish crazy glue and she looked at me like I was disturbing her life. Not a smile or nothing. Walmart clearly isn't the place to go if you want good customer service, and that I already know. With that being said, this Walmart is by far the worst I've been to when it comes to customer care. One of the associates from the money center was literally on the phone arguing with someone she lived with while blatantly ignoring me. The customer service desk associates are also just as rude the majority of the time. This store is also consistently out of just about all of the essentials. Milk and eggs were completely sold out for over a week at one point. It's highly unfortunate that the options are just Publix and Walmart on this side of the town. read more

A sign out by the fitting rooms says how they have their fitting rooms open to try on clothes again. So I go looking for bras to try on. I finally find some and the lady tells me that I can't try them on because they are personal and they touch your skin. I said all clothes touch your skin. Plus we have always been able to try on bras. But her supervisor who was currently on break told her the other day not to let people try on swimsuits and bras. Two of THE most important things to try on before buying. Heck even Amazon let's you try things on for a week before purchasing them. Just to make sure there wasn't an online policy change I Googled Walmart doesn't allow you to try on bras and the picture is what I found. If this is the new policy in place I sincerely hope Walmart loses an extraordinarily large amount of profit. The lady said if I was still in the store in ten minutes I could come back and talk to her supervisor I said no I'll take my money somewhere else. Since I doubt she passed that along...listen up managers and store managers. You WILL start to lose business with those ridiculous practices. On April 1st while traveling on I 75, while traveling back to Wisconsin, had a tire go bad on my F250. While changing the tire the spare was found to be full of sand and would not hold air. So my wife takes the tire to the automotive department. They were amazing. They cleaned up the spare tire so i could continue on my way. The store was 3274 Inner Perimeter Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602. The customer service at the Valdosta Supercenter on Norman Drive is about as bad as it gets. It is a big Walmart that has recently gone through extensive renovation, and it is very convenient as it sits right next to a Sams Club and I can generally find everything I'm looking for between the two stores. But the people working at this Walmart seem unhappy and cranky. Today (January 5, 2022) I hit the checkout line at about 11:00 a.m. with 4 other patrons for the only open register. It was moving pretty slow so pretty soon there were two more patrons in line behind me. Five minutes or so later another checker shows up at an adjacent register, but instead of announcing she was open, she started a conversation with the other checker. By now, two more customers have joined the line. All of us were waiting for her to call some of us over before leaving a line we had already committed time to. When she finally did and the last couple of patrons jumped to her register me and they guy behind me gave the "what the hell?' shrug with a "It would have been nice to let us know". When I finally got to the register, the checker never acknowledged me, said good morning, hello, anything. The only words she ever said was my total charge. Horrible...but seriously what was I expecting. Stood in self check waiting for help as the cashier Teresa rang up an employee with two shopping carts full of stuff to overflowing. Then when the cashier finally made it over to me, after canceling my call for help 2x she could not perform my transaction then went to get a CSM who said she could not help then went to get garden person who walked up and said the price is what it is and couldn't explain to me why the sign said one thing. After I calmly walked her out to garden to show her whet ALL signs say $10 for all plants. I just now found out Shanna who said she was in charge of garden actually lied to me. Unbelievable. Horrible service! There are never enough registers open and at night they closes self checkout where one cashier can watch multiple registers and the have open one register!! Sometimes the lines will be backed up to the clothing with none of the managers doing anything!!! There are never any staff members that seem like they even want to be at work! If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered groceries on THURSDAY, it is not SATURDAY and we still have not received our groceries. My fiancé and I spent over an hour on Friday trying to get ahold of someone at walmart and ended up having to call customer service at corporate just to be told that our order had been changed to today. It was supposed to get here but 1:00 pm today. we have been calling for over an hour trying to figure out where our order is and had to call corporate AGAIN only to find out that our order was once again rescheduled. The store never reached out to inform us of what was going on. We had items in the order that we needed for Friday. Now we are having to go in and actually shop. We had many other plans and are having to put them on hold because this Walmart can't get itself together! Very upset. read more

Not a good place to shop, extremely messy, horrible workers with bad attitudes, there's always large pallets of food in the middle of the aisles blocking where the customers should walk. You can never find any of the can goods you're looking for, and I met a manager who has such poor mannerism its ridiculous. This place has terrible customer service. I needed razor heads and because they are locked up I needed someone to open the glass. There was a lady standing near me, i rang the bell twice. She was talking on her phone and had zero idea i was standing there. Before I knew it she walked away. Asked someone else who said "I just clocked out". Then I ask another who asked on loud speaker to come help me never showed up. Asked another lady who took 10 minutes to go get someone to announce again on the loud speaker I needed help. 10 more minutes and nothing. Maybe I went on a good week, but this walmart was fairly organized and clean. It was walking distance from my hotel. The lines were quick. I've purchased tires at this location and got the lifetime rotation on them at additional costs - Great plan if you can ever get your car in the bay for service. Been back 14 times in the past month and get told it's a 3 hour wait. Showed up at 7:30 AM this morning and get told only one tech on duty, no cashier and 4 hour wait. There was only 1 vehicle in the bay. Absolutely unacceptable... Went to Inner Perimeter and they were fully loaded but got the job done. Wake up Walmart and hire some help at Norman Drive. You can't automate that service so as a customer we're just screwed all the way around. Bad service Walmart!!! read more

I have been customer of this Walmart since the first day they opened. This place is now the worst place ever to shop and getting worse all the time. I spent 34 min. waiting in line because they only had 2 Regular registers open at 4:15 p.m. on Wed. before July 4th! The line got so backed up (and the other line was same) nobody could even move through the main front isle by clothes period. On top, they were training a new person which was that much slower. When I finally was checking out, the one doing the training couldn't even get stuff to ring up. When I told her to just forget it, I don't want it, she argued and kept on trying until she did. Then to boot, a manager came over and stopped the trainee for a couple minutes in the middle of a check out to show him a form. One lady told him to go away because we had been in line so long. Then I purchased to books of stamps, after the register opened, she had no stamps in it. I told her just to credit them back to my card and she refused and ran over to customer service to get them. I waited more minutes, then she was calling me to go over there. She said someone went to get them. I told her I said I didn't want them but she would not credit back. The store was so hot I was about to get sick. I finally got my stamps and left. The store is also out of half the stuff I always need and this started long before Covid19. Also many employees not so nice and very poor management. Restrooms are always filthy. I will start trying the other Walmart store if or when I go back to Walmart. read more
