I think of it as more of a farm supply store, but it is also considered a department store. They carry sporting goods, items for dogs and cats, hardware, lawn chairs, large trash cans, toys for children, seasonal decor, etc. I remember seeing a lot of jerky and rare candy as well as funny and unique refrigerator magnets and greeting cards. From the things I browsed, I think most items were reasonably priced. Their patio furniture and dollies in particular were priced as low or better than elsewhere I've looked. I was in searching for supplies to put a barrier underneath my privacy fencing, and while they had a lot of options including mesh you'd dig a trench for, I didn't end up getting anything to tackle that project because I'm not sure of what solution, if any, to use for my dilemma... I did, however, grab a large stainless steel water bowl for my dogs which my cats also like to use. It was somewhat reasonable at around. I can't say the quality is the absolute best as it has an indentation that revealed itself at some point which looks like a small hole at the bottom but doesn't appear to pierce all the way through. It becomes slightly rusty on the underside, so I believe it may have a tiny slow leak. I'm not sure. The size of the bowl is perfect though. I have found it difficult to find the size I need online or inside other stores. I liked this store much better than what is available in Peru but prefer a similar store in Rochester. Not crowded. A little difficult to locate what I needed but found help for that eventually a couple times. The checker was pleasant. Plenty of shopping carts. Clean. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to make a special trip back anytime soon, but it's a good small town shopping option to me. I would keep it in mind for the future.

The first time I was in they had UGG house shoes for around $50 and the next time I came in they had Chacos for about $50. This may seem like a lot of money, but that is exponentially cheaper than you would find them anywhere else. But there are many many more affordable things also. I got some great thank you notes for four dollars and even found some really cute two dollar pillows and three dollar wine openers. They had some great clothes but none in the size I needed. You have to be in the right mood to come in here because sometimes you have to really look to find the great bargains but it is well worth spending the time to do so. It has become one of my favorite places to go because you never know what you will find, but it will always be at a great price.

The bathrooms were acceptable for someone passing through, but those dumb Dyson hand-dryers blow! Yes, they blow the water off of your hands towards you? Why? Why? Who comes up with this stuff? It's not as bad as the ones that blow all the water out of the sink, but c'mon Dyson! I looked all over for the coffee place as I could have used an afternoon pick-me-up but I didn't find it. I went back to my vehicle and they let another couple walk over and stand in the cold, (when it 15 degrees out) for 10 minutes. while a employee stood on her phone at the door inside without a care. It wasn't until the couple asked, that she informed them the store wouldn't be open till 9:30. Then the couple let us know also. I'm not impressed one bit.
