Looking for energy drinks became a hunt in the store because there's no signage. Seasonal section isn't seasonal. Some items are very limited. I was looking for a mouse pad and I had two options: a flat black mousepad for $5 or a black mousepad with a cushioned wrist for $10. Overall, I'm not as impressed with this Walmart as I once was. This store is a horible place, and it's manager James is a horible person. I purchased Iphones here during Thanks giving sale, and they lied to me that I'll be getting device credits from T-mobile, and I could return my phones within 14 days. I tried to return several times, but I couldn't return. I called the cooperate customer service, and they told me that the store manager Kevin James has the power to return these phones, but he refused to take them back saying he has been waiting for the contratcor Premium to help him do the returns. 9/12/21: This is my first visit to this location. There was plenty of parking available. The store was neat, clean, & tidy. There is a salon & a Dominos inside. I only went for a dress shirt for my shirt. Luckily they had his size. It was a reasonable price as well. We used self-checkout & the Walmart staff member was very rude. It's fine, but the grab n go salads need work. They looked good in the fridge case, but when I opened the Cobb Salad in my car (while charging my EV), I saw that ALL the lettuce was brown and mushy. Also was hoping to get a cup of ice at the Subway, because that the restaurant I just assumed would be inside. But it's a Domino's, with no soda fountain. Not sure what sense it makes to have a pizza place inside a WalMart, but hey, maybe that just me. And to be fair, Domino's is listed in their website. Charging: 3.5 EV stations (one is a little mini thing that looks like a trickle charger. ). They need more stations for sure, because cars were doing the musical chair shuffle during the whole 45 mins I was there. My family placed a food order last Monday 2/17 for delivery Tuesday 2/18 ( well before the snow on Wednesday). Tuesday we received a note on the site it was delayed. We never received our order. No one would answer the phone at Walmart for days. My sister said they canceled the order last Thursday and it could take up to 10 DAYS to return my money ($140.) for groceries we never received! I don't like the way they've reorganized the grocery items, it is very hard to find items now, not in areas where I'd expect them to be. But perhaps I will get used to it over time. Good prices on most items compared to other grocery stores but not always the best. Lately I've noticed they are out of many items: TP, meat, seafood, frozen pizza, eggs, butter, cheese. I honestly hate going to Walmart. The store,for me,is a money and a time trap! That being said, if I HAVE to go to Wallmart, the Wake Forest location is my favorite one. It is usually faiirly clean, the lines aren't typically ridiculously long, and customer service is pretty good. I like this location because it also has gas. If you purchase a gift card and use it for gas you save 3 cents per gallon. Getting in and out of this Walmart is the worstt part about it. There are several ways to do both, but they are long and winding roads no matter which enterance/exit you choose. read more

I complimented her on her customer service and she just responded that she just wants to treat every customer how she wants to be treated. It's one thing to close a little early (in this case , actually the Service Desk) and inconvenience a customer in the process, but the fellow at the counter actually argued that it was already 9:00PM when our cell phones (and my connected smartwatch) were still displaying 8:55PM and I just needed a couple minutes for a return with receipt to my card. The store itself is decent. Curbside pickup is awful. I ordered about 8 items, and one of them couldn't be shipped so I went to pick it up. When I got there, I parked in the Pick Up area and called to tell them I was there. They said that someone would bring it right out. After 20 minutes or so I called again, and they said the same thing. After 45 (!) minutes I called again, and they said the same thing. I said that waiting 45 minutes for curbside pickup was ridiculous and that I was coming into the store to get it. I shouldn't have waited so long, next time I'll just go straight into the store. read more

I went to @Walmart to pick up a few items, and one thing I had to pick up was some paper products. I notice the Cottonelle Ultra was marked as $6.64 for the largest 72 roll pack. It wasn't just one pack there, but it was fully stocked jam packed with multiple rows. I went to the register to check out with just one pack and the rest of my groceries. When I got there, it rang up at $15.98. I told the cashier that the price on the shelf was $6.64, and I took a picture of it just to prove I wasn't making it up. She accused me of moving all of the stock over just so I could get a lower price. She called over a Customer Service Manager, who called over two more CSMs that stood there for several minutes arguing on whether or not to give it to me for the signed price, saying I am the one that changed it. I was like, so I went to the back room, got all the stock, fully stocked the shelves, then found some signs, and just put them there so I could get a better deal. The cashier was like, some customers do that. They were discussing the fact that it was supposed to be for Great Value, not Cottonelle, and I should have looked at the tiny sign better for several minutes. Ridiculous. Found laptop online, says it's in stock at Wake Forest Walmart. Drive over, try to find laptop in electronics department. I cannot find it anywhere. Decide to ask Walmart employee, if I can find one! Wait 10 minutes at electronics desk. Finally, an older lady comes over and offers to help. Her name tag says she's been a Walmart employee for 10 years. God love her. She cannot locate the laptop, either. She goes into stock room and is gone for at least 10 minutes trying to locate the one that says it's in stock. Long story short - had involves another employee who says this happens all of the time and they deal with inventory issues daily. I leave without the laptop since nobody could ever locate it! Over Walmart for good. I've given you tons of tries. I'm back to Amazon and Target. read more

I tried the auto center today to get an oil change. The attendant Mark was very nice and tried to warn me about the wait. 2 1/2 hours (I am not kidding) later my car was finally ready. Other customers were telling new customers before I left the wait would be over three hours. I watched hundreds of dollars of business go out the door. The wait is not worth the savings. The thing that bugs me is they were not busy but also not working very hard, multiple times all bays stood empty. When my car was ready Mark felt he needed to apologize for the time. I know in the past at this location the workflow was much more efficient. I would suggest - Bring in someone who knows how to manage and motivate - give employees an incentive to work / work faster Get rid of dead weight! They give your company a very bad look. I ordered my grandson a Mickey Mouse birthday cake from the Wake Forest Walmart and was horrified at the sloppy job the decorator did! The lettering is crooked, the lines look like my 1 year old grandson drew them, and I had to put the little Mickey Mouse rings where they actually belonged! It seemed as if the decorator just tossed them on. Super disappointed but I guess that's what I get for trying them in the first place. This store works there employees to the bone. They are always short staffed. Employee's bonus are almost non existent. They don't treat there employee's right. If they did they would have much happier employee's that would love to come to work. Walmart increased its starting wage to $11 an hour, gave bonuses of up to $1,000 each for associates and expanded some worker benefits like parental leave. The wage increase amounted to $300 million more than the company had planned before the cuts. Its employment levels have not changed over the year. Where are the bonuses of up to $1,000.00? If the safety record in the store is low all employees suffer. Things need to change for Walmart, or as time passes, we will be seeing these stores close too! Disgruntled mom! read more

As another reviewer said - "WalMart enough said!" I don't get the fascination with the place except that it typically (not always) has the lowest prices of any chain department store on earth. Low prices, however, do not equate to better value. The TV I buy at WalMart for $50-75 less than I pay at some place like HH Gregg or Worst Buy is not the same TV, even though it looks the same and the model number is ALMOST identical. Cheap is Cheap, not necessarily a bargain... I get what I pay for. I once bought a $225 Sony TV from WalMart (on sale), and a year and a half later had to take it to a TV repair shop to have it diagnosed - to find broken solders (read - shoddy craftsmanship) redone... for over $75. Suddenly my bargain wasn't looking like much of a bargain anymore. Lesson learned. Do your homework, find out how the business model works, find out how WalMart treats its suppliers and what demands for shipping and pricing are made on its suppliers in order for us consumers to get "Cheap" merchandise. I've seen the "Rollback" prices, this store included where the new price is actually higher than the old price... My bride has actually posted photos of that on her FB page at various times. Yes, we all got a kick out of it. Lastly one of my biggest complaints is checking out... it takes me less time to locate what I'm looking for, and take it up to the checker lanes than the time it takes for me to stand in line and wait... and wait... and wait... seriously, I've waited up to an hour to check out at this store (and others throughout the chain east of the Mississippi), and with a restless child who gets bored very easily, that is not a thrilling way for me to spend my time or keep my blood pressure down. I typically avoid WalMart at all costs (except when my bride MAKES ME go - nothing is worth having that arg... ahem... I mean, discussion). This review is for the tire & auto department. TL:DR -- Just go somewhere else and save yourself the headache. The customer service stinks and these guys are sloppy. Bluntly, there are serious customer service issues here which hopefully will be addressed, especially since the department manager gave me his word that it would be. I came here for an oil change and tire rotation and was initially told it would take 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I left *two* hours and 10 minutes later with a nasty, greasy steering wheel, a car that now pulls to the right, and no apology for the longer wait time. I can excuse the abrupt behavior of the young lady working at the desk and the 3 times that I had to check if my car was finished, but I cannot excuse that I was only treated with respect when I brought my husband back with me to complain. One star because the department manager apologized and gave me a refund without hesitation. Zero stars for employees who don't take pride in their work, and the possibility that I have to go spend money elsewhere to make sure my tires were rotated properly because my car now pulls to the right. read more

Not just a little crack But the whole backside. His belt was under his cheeks. It's hard to shop for food seeing that much Backside. Very long review ahead: My experience at this Walmart yesterday will most definitely be my last. I go to this Walmart because it's right behind my workplace and I do grocery pickup once a week. I placed this week's grocery order Sunday morning, and have never had issues with picking up my order on time. I get off work at 4:30 on Monday and have a 4-5 pickup window at Walmart, so I sat and waited because I had gotten a notification that my groceries weren't finished being picked yet... keep in mind I placed my order over 24 hours in advance and have NEVER had this issue before. I used to work as a personal shopper so I know the demand is high during the pandemic, but yesterday was absolutely unacceptable. I typically can get off work, head over to Walmart and pick up my groceries and then do my 40 minute commute home within minutes of being off work. Yesterday, I waited, and waited. At about 5:05, still nothing, so I called the store. No one answered, and at this point I needed to get my errands done and head home. So I went ahead and parked in a pickup parking spot, and this guy came up to my car, so unprofessional and rudely barked at me asking my name and telling me "it's delayed." No apologies, no courtesy, nothing. I asked if I could pick them up tomorrow because I have a long drive home, and he said "yeah, you can pick it up tomorrow." Mind you, the ENTIRE pickup parking lot area was filled with cars who were just sitting waiting for groceries and no one was tending to them during the 15 minutes I sat there. After he walked away from my car, I got a notification saying my groceries were ready so I ended up staying to get them. It took a good ten minutes from that point to finally receive my groceries from the guy who was so rude to me to begin with. Not to mention, I'm lactose-sensitive and they substituted my Greek yogurt with regular yogurt. They made so many substitutions and typically I have the ability to approve them or not, but no one asked me about them. Will NEVER return to this Walmart again, for any reason. I didn't get home until after 6pm, when I should've been home at 5:15 at the very latest. Get it together. read more

This Walmart was horrible for pick up. Don't waste your time because you'll be sitting in a long line of backed up cars and unable to go into the store to get your item. It was a fiasco and I will never ever do curbside pick up at this Walmart again. Some people had already waited over a half an hour. And when I checked at the office service center for assistance, they said there was nothing they could do because you have to go to that side door to get your item. read more

This Walmart location is one of the nicer locations in the area. It's designed well, although they redid the store and it's taking some time getting to the new layout. Every time I come to this location the restroom is dirty. This time it is dirty and there are no paper towels and the hand dryer did not work. I checked out at register number three 5:00pm on Monday, May 7th. It's great that everyone can count on this Walmart's consistency. It's consistently out of popular products for very long periods of time and it consistently looks like a tornado has gone through almost every isle. If you really need something from this Walmart - even if it's just shredded cheese - order it online and have it delivered to the store instead of expecting them to have anything in stock because that's just asking too much. For a while, I kept going back on different days thinking that I just missed when they got their truck in and the shelves had already been stocked and raided before my return, however, this is not the case. They had to process a cancelation and re-order, with another Delivery Fee! I got them to refund the second delivery fee, but I'm sooo disappointed.
