Not excellent but not bad, this large supermarket is A-OK. It seemed like a large-footprint Winn-Dixie. It is not high-end like a Publix or a Teeter and it is full service, unlike Aldi or Lidl. Lots of aisles of merchandise and it's all very well stacked up. Well lit, clean and bright. I found a couple of snacks, prices were quite good. Butcher department was well stocked and the prices looked good. The young lady who rang up my purchase was pleasant. Outside, the lot is clean with no litter and the cart corrals were clear. I wonder if grocery store customers have finally come to their senses & stop shopping at Carlie C's. Drive or walk on over to Walmart. The Walmart store is cleaner & sanitized for customer protection. The food inside the Walmart grocery store is much fresher. At Walmart you can buy holiday turkeys that cost less than $15 dollars & less than $10 dollars. These are eighteen pound turkeys & twenty pound turkeys. Walmart actually does want people to have a happy holiday & merry Christmas. So come on over to Walmart this holiday season & make Walmart your primary grocery store destination, during the entire new year of 2024. Don't shop at the Carlie C's located at 1514 Garner Station Blvd anymore. You don't have to shop at any area Carlie C's grocery stores ever again. read more

I remember going to Carlie C's when I was little to pick up the meatloaf and other grocery items in Dunn. I'm so happy this location opened a while ago in Garner because I love the meatloaf, it is the best. My review is mainly for the meatloaf. read more

I have just loved shopping at this store. It's beautiful. Everyone who works there is so helpful. I have been shopping online during the pandemic and I cannot be happier with the service. I can get my groceries the SAME DAY! You can't get that elsewhere. It's my little secret! Today there was an issue with our order. The manager, Jason, delivered our order to our door within 1 hour. I always by the coconut cake for my grandma here and make sure if you buy for near a holiday like Christmas, thanksgiving, Mother's Day or Easter make sure you order months in advance because they will sell out quick. They have a pretty good selection of plastic items including cups, plates, and platters for under $5. They have great wings specials on Tuesday, Meatloaf Thursday and Fish Friday's but you need to make sure you get there before they run out and they have good collard greens and yams. read more

Love this store,especially the convenience of the post office. Manager is really kind and very on top of things. However, I did feel uncomfortable shopping there today. QUick in and out. This store is rarely busy. No annoying"shoppers cards". They don't have much variety. The prices are on par with Kroger and Food lion. Nothing fancy here read more

I admit I was a bit skeptical of going to Carlie C's until I actually decided to check them out and now I enjoy shopping at this location. I always find what I need and then some and with a little comparison shopping you can find items that come in under the local competition. Definitely worth taking the time to check them out. read more

As a newly disabled person, (screws in foot w/o the ability to bear weight), I have found it necessary to shop at stores that have mobilize scooters. This is one of many stores I have found to NOT be handicap friendly. As large as this store is, there should be more than one (1) mobilize scooter. The one that is there runs VERY slow. There have been times that I've been here when the one scooter was not available resulting in me shopping elsewhere. The prices are decent, but with the lack of accessibility for me, Carlie C's at Garner Station has lost a customer. read more

My girlfriend and I have recently been shopping at this Carlie C's since it is on the bus line on our way home from school. I was recently profiled by a deli employee which we did not like at all. I am a 6'1 African male with dark skin (keep in mind while I tell our story) We went up to the front to mail off a letter and continued shopping. As we start shopping, a deli employee bypasses a crowd of people to specifically tell me "Hey man, you need to take off that backpack and leave it up front its store policy". A few things before I continue: 1. we were serviced up front for the mail and walked straight back to shop (my girlfriend and I) both wearing our backpacks and no one said anything for at least 10 minutes. 2. My girlfriend also had a backpack in the cart, but he bypassed her to walk straight up to me and demand I go up front and remove it 3. We have shopped here multiple times and never heard such a request, so for this man to come so abruptly to me and start throwing commands felt like profiling. We immediately went back up to the service desk and informed the manager of what had happened. She told us she was sorry to hear that and asked for the employees name. We told her his height, weight, and look but we never got his name. After ending that conversation we continued to shop. The man from the deli never looked back up at us again any time we passed by, he gave a strong sense of guilt because he knew what he did was racial profiling and he had no right. If you are of the darker skin be careful going to this location, I am not sure they handle us very well. We left a comment on another site but it was overlooked because the company obviously doesn't care to follow up on the issue. Just be aware, and I hope I helped someone stay away from trouble or profiling. read more
