This review is for the automotive center only! I had a flat tire on New Year's Day- happy new year to me! After having a spare tire put on to drive the car I called this Auto center to see if they had the type Of tire I needed- they were able to get me in that day (walk in only but still) when I arrived it took approx 2hrs because there were a few people ahead of me but after assessing my tires and what the safest option was they were sure to get me the best deal and I didn't feel like they were trying to rip me off or over sell me on anything! I love going to Walmart, because I love the low prices and the accessibility of everything you need being in one place, but every time I have to go there they are out of a lot of things, most of the time out of diapers. It is ridiculous! I stood in line last night at this store for 45 minutes, because there was only one register open! This is the worst walmart I have ever visited, the last 3 times it has gotten progressively worse. First off the wrong prices are on the shelves, alot of the items are fully stocked at the wrong spot like 2 spaces down from the empty area they should be. Two of the employees working the self checkouts were cussing at customer's and yelling at a 3rd for helping a gentleman who didn't speak English and wasn't sure how to checkout, then they strait left 4 of us who had blinking red lights and couldn't pay for 10 minutes until a manager came. The third girl who was being yelled at did try to help us off the clock but wasn't able to because she was clocked out and the self checkouts wouldn't except her code. There should be a limit on how many return transactions can be done by 1 customer before they have to go to the back of the line and wait in the line they created when they're bringing in a buggy half full of on-line returns (not employees fault he was the only one working). Waiting 30 minutes to do a 1 minute return was frustrating. read more

Fantastic experience at the West Mifflin Walmart Auto and Tire Center! I was blown away with the service I received when I needed to quickly bring my car in to replace 2 tires. We have had mediocre to poor customer service experiences until we came to, of all places, Walmart (West Mifflin). Based on the information on my receipt the Service Writer/Greeter who took care of us was Richard and the Technician who worked on the car was Thomas. They were OUTSTANDING. They were some of the most pleasant, courteous, genuine, and helpful people I have encountered here. They made it memorable customer service experience that made it worth taking the time to write a positive review. read more

Well, when you go to a Wal-Mart, you pretty much know what to expect. It's like getting Gallagher tickets in the third row. Just know that you're going to need a rain poncho. Anyway, I find this store to be conveniently located for my commute. I patronize this location for this reason, and only this reason. Two things to be aware of when shopping here: 1- be prepared to see some of the strangest characters milling about. I have shopped in many Wal-Mart stores, but this store seems to attract the oddities of humanity more so than others. 2- seemingly hundreds of checkout lanes, but only two or three cashiers, even at Christmas time. read more

I agree that customer service is bad at West Mifflin site but I don't use that anymore, I try to find it myself & I do! Don't do to the bathroom there, haven't had too. Walmart is the same no matter where you go. You will find all kinds of people there at all times of the day or night. They are all there for the same reason-low prices. This particular Walmart is a Supercenter. It has pretty much anything you can think of in it. We buy certain groceries here. We don't buy produce because it's not that good and it spoils quickly. Another downside is that they never have enough cashiers so you wait in long lines to check out. The worst part is that the bathrooms are never clean. So I try to never go to the bathroom when I'm there. It's basically trading some inconveniences for low prices. read more

I waited 24 mins to get assistance in the fabric dept. there is bell for assistance, I rang the bell constantly for 22 mins, and only one employee PASSED me by, who was sweeping the floor. Once an employee appeared after the 24 mins, she told me, "sorry we are short staffed, and I was in the back",Heck if you are short staffed WHY are you in the BACK for 30 mins.? and then she told me " I will be RIGHT BACK, I dont have a scanner to PRiCE the MATERIAL!!! When you visit, you know exactly what you're getting. It's cheap and we all know why. We also know there are certain times when it would behoove one to stay away from Wally World because it's a madhouse. Workout and summer gear are very reasonable here. I hate that they only have 2 registers open with a bunch of people in the store sometimes but hey, we're impatient people anyway. A 2 minute wait can be forever sometimes. This store seems to be well stocked most of the time and much better than the one in Fox Chapel. Most would say it's probably because this one is a super center. For the size, it's cleaner than some of the other locations which is always good. read more

I was in the middle of making a dessert - and pow...my mixer dies on me. This is like 10:30 at night. Who else is open but Wally World? So I made my way to this location. This location gets one star for being open (there are some locations back at home that are not 24 hrs). It gets another star for offering competitive prices (you can always price-match with them). The reason I didn't rate them higher - at that time of night, the only things open were the self-checkouts. Of course I had an issue with mine - the receipt never printed. The woman at the checkout stated it would take 15 minutes to retrieve. I said fine - only because I bought an item with a warranty and would need the proof. She spoke with a manager - and he told me that he was unable to pull it until the next morning - when the system merges all the receipts at 1am. I asked if he could email me a copy, he said no. He took down my name and number and promised to contact me. Of course he didn't - and the next day I called Walmart. The phone rang about 20 times (I thought I had the wrong number at first!) The woman who answered connected me to customer service. Once connected, the woman at customer service attempted to find my receipt. She put me on hold - another woman answered the phone mistakenly, and hung up on me! Talk about fuming - but I kept saying, this is Walmart. Should I expect any more? I decided to drive out there - and bear in mind this is not near where I'm staying (but it's the closest). Drove out there, it was handled easily. They were able to find the receipt, and printed me a copy. Now why this couldn't have been emailed to me in the first place, who knows. But I am happy that I was able to get everything that I needed, and at a reasonable price. read more

So, the last time I was in the place, I had a good 20 minute wait to check out. Bored, standing in line, I caught the asst. manager walking past: Me: Why are the lines so long. Him: We had a few.. Me: I know.. call offs. Why don't you just hire more people, and people that will show up. Him: We can't find anyone. Me: In this economy, no one is looking for a job? Him: Yes, we hire people, but they fail the drug test. Me: Well, then try to hire a better employees, pay a little more. Him: Corporate won't go for that. That pretty much sums up the wal mart experience, you get what you pay for. They try to go cheap, whether it be employees or product quality, and you end up getting the short end of the stick. read more

Don't come here unless you want to wait in line for a half hour, because they only have 3 out of 40 registers open. Then when you talk to a manager, they just say they are under staffed. The managers then go back to BSing instead of jumping on a register to get the lines down. read more

i bought a bed skirt here and i took it home and put it on my bed just to see if it would fit before washing it & i saw something crawling in it when i unfolded it. i collected the bug in a bottle to look at & it turns out it was a bed bug. a bed bug was inside of the "new" bed skirt i brought home. read more

Yet another BAD experience with Walmart Site to Store waste of time. Order entered at 3:15 pm, at 6:00 pm, still no confirmation. Called and spoke to the Pick Up Associate who was less than helpful. He said, it can take 3-4 hours and there is nothing he can do to help. My son drove to the store to pick up the items around 7 pm as that would be around the 4 hour mark. The associate said, it may not be ready until then next day. UNACCEPTABLE. The site clearly says PICK UP TODAY, Fast and Free. I called the Store Manager. It was now 7:30 and the manager assured me that my order would be pulled. My son waited until 7:59 when he was told that they were cancelling the order because they could not pull it before the store closed!! I am so frustrated with the level of disregard that Walmart shows for online customers who wait all day for their orders only to be disappointed. Walmart should not offer Site to Store because this is really making them look bad because they don't deliver consistently. This is the 4th time this has happened , twice in the last 2 days. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. Walmart is not the customer friendly store we once knew it to be. read more

This is for WALMART.COM! I ordered 2 boxes of cat litter, and got 2 boxes of cat litter that I did NOT order! I can NOT use the ones I got, because the smell affects my Asthma! I CALLED last week, TWICE The first time, a woman wanted to ARGUE with me about what I ordered. The second time, a guy looked it up and said that it looked like a computer website glitch, and that he would have someone from MANAGEMENT contact me. NO ONE from management EVER contacted me. SO, today I called AGAIN; after having a CHAT REP want to ARGUE with me about what I ordered. The woman on the phone was "okay" and gave me to a Supervisor...and this is where it gets REALLY aggravating! THIS guy said that the item was out of stock so they sent the others, *I* said they should NOT have done that...he said there was NOTHING he could do about it. He said the ONLY thing he could do for me, would be to order me MORE litter, that I would have to PAY FOR (AGAIN!)! THEN he proceeded to tell me that he could not guarantee that I would get the right item THIS time either!!!! WTF is WRONG with Walmart.com's SO-CALLED "Customer Service"???!!! Customer Service is MORE important to me than PRICE...when I get LOUSY service, I will go somewhere ELSE, even if I have to pay a little more! read more

Not much has changed from my review of 3/29/2017. Today was a weekend day. As usual on weekends, the aisles on the food side of the store were quite crowded. Am having second thoughts about shopping on weekends, however. One woman was in a spring-loaded pissed off position & was quite rude. I don't go shopping to be cursed at. Will try to stick to shopping on weekdays when there seems to be less stressed out shoppers at Walmart. read more

every time i go into this store i have a terrible experience! Tonight was worse than usual. Store is always a mess an nothing is ever stocked. i had a complaint tonight when the photo lab tech would not give me the pictures that i had processed at the one hour photo lab b/c i didn't have a copyright consent. They were easter bunny pictures of my toddler-really?! ? i had the disc from the mall and my receipt. So unfortunate-the store lost the business of a growing family for life over $7 worth of bunny pictures. A call to my cell phone to let m know that thy weren't willing to process the pictures is the least they could have done. i will have them printed at Target tomorrow. read more

walmart only gets such a high rating only because they have a few organics, but you have to search for them. All of there products are such poor quality. I even took my car to them for an oil change and when I left I didn't have breaks. And they didn't even think that was something that I should know about. When I questioned them they said that there was a fluid leak but they were not concerned. And the manager said that my break line broke but it was not their problem. But I still thought that if my break lines broke then they should have allowed me to know that before driving the car. The only thing that she told me was good luck. read more

Horrible!! Every employee in this place is rude and lazy. I ran in to pick up a few things and pick up my online order. I found what I needed right away, then went back to the online pickup area. The online pickup area is not supposed to share a register with layaway, but that's what they were doing anyway. So I stood in line behind people with baskets full of stuff, having the employees ring it all up, then picking and choosing which few things they would take out to keep it in their price range. Finally, I get to the front of the line, and the employee scans my printout. "Order not found". So she tries entering it, tries my name, etc. Nothing. So she goes to look for it in the back. She's gone almost 10 minutes, and comes back empty-handed. I tell her, "I think I saw some of these out on the floor, is it possible my order is out there and didn't get picked yet?" She says she'll call over and see if they have 4 of them, which is what I ordered. She walks into the back - why do you need to walk into the back to call? Another 10 minutes go by, and by that time, I had had it. I went over to the section in the store myself, found 4 of the item I wanted, and brought them to the front. I paid for them (again), then called the online customer service when I got home to cancel the online order. The only reason I bought online in the first place is because most stores don't have 4 of this item, and I wanted to make sure they had it before I went over there (this WalMart is 25 minutes from my house). As I'm checking out, the checker NEVER even acknowledges my presence. I pay, and as I'm double-checking my bags, I ask her where a set of small hooks is I bought. She says, "you didn't put them on the belt." Yes, I did, lady. I distinctly remember. I check my bags AGAIN - it's not there. Finally, as she's still checking the guy behind me, she says, "Oh, is this them?" She has dropped them on the ground at her feet. I have to wait for her to finish checking the guy behind me before she'll check that one tiny item she forgot, and I can leave. NEVER going to this WalMart again. I may never go to ANY Walmart again. read more
